"This Sheepshead Bay staple has been a local favorite since the early '90s, and it’s time more people know about it. You can come with four people, order a ton of food, and spend around $60. The phở broth here is light but flavorful, and the noodles have a pleasant chew. The #1, which comes with a little bit of all things beef, is the classic, but we also love getting a bowl of noddle soup with a perfectly charred pork chop on the side for a bit of variation. If you want something that isn’t phở, get the chicken curry served with a freshly-baked, extremely soft, and crackly baguette." - Carina Finn

Gotta love visiting these little spots that have been around for a while, and this place is no exception. Located in the Baseline Center at the corner of SW 185th Ave & W Baseline Rd in Beaverton, it’s as simple as it gets. A big menu serving delicious Vietnamese food at a great value in a cozy space. So, the next time you’re in the area, give this place a try. And like I’ve mentioned on occasion, always remember to support small or local businesses! We had been here 5~6 years ago (or more) and the impression was completely different from that time, bright, spacious and open. We had #P0. Super Bowl and #B29. Stewed Beef Over The Egg Noodle. The Pho was a good and tasty dish that we never got tired of, and the Stewed Beef was very tasty and almost the same as my favorite beef stew at Pho Nguen, with lots of sweet and tender cubes of meat and very tender carrots, although there were no potatoes.🤤 The menu is so varied that it is hard to choose, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely try many of their dishes again.😊 01/18/2023 We had P4. the Round Steak & Soft Tendon Pho and B26.Chicken Curry Over Vermicelli. The Pho was very tasty with thinly sliced beef and a generous portion of Tendon.🤤 The Curry Vermicelli was a big, tender, braised bone-in chicken that was very filling and very satisfying.😊=3 01/09/2024 It had been a year since our last visit, and we noticed that most prices had gone up by around a dollar. But compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in town, I still think their prices are reasonable. We ordered the B12 Pork Vermicelli and P12 Seafood Pho (regular), both of which were excellent. 😊

First time visitor. Stopped by with wife for lunch and was amazed with their food. Prices are very reasonable and the food is great. Inside is a bit outdated but still great atmosphere.

Google
1st time going to this restaurant. Employees were really nice. Recommend good vegan appetizers. Employees don't really speak English but get by well and understand what you want. Tasty Pho for sure. My husband was wowed by the seafood pho, he got it with vegan broth because he doesn't eat meat. Food tasted fresh, looked and tasted AMAZING 👏🏼. Highly recommend if you are looking for delicious authentic Vietnamese Pho.

Google
Take out order: I think the chicken fried rice is around $16.99 .... when I opened my box, it looked like an order for a kid. Very little fried rice. I'm highly disappointed.

Google
I am a bun bo hue snob and I'm always trying to see if if can find some bbh that's better than the last place I went to. Well pho Hoai bbh is now my favorite! The broth is absolutely delicious, tons of meat, the veggies are fresh and the noodles are perfectly cooked! I think this is probably a family run operation, and the customer service was excellent! I highly recommend if you're wanting some bbh!

Google
Good place great food fantastic price. The owners were so nice and the food was less salty than other pho places felt more authentic to my taste buds.

I went there for lunch on Friday and wanted to eat their again. So I took my daughter out for dinner. Food is well prepared and healthy. If you would like to eat a balanced meal, this is a great place to go to. The dish I have ordered had lots of vegetables, fair amount of meat and some starch (rice) served with a tasty sauce.

John C.

Yelp
The only place around for $14.50 large pho. The broth flavorful and generous amounts of meat. Service is always quick Definitely a hole in the wall.

Ed L.

Yelp
The food is always very good here and friendly staff. The Pho broth is one of the best!

Yelp
I am obsessed with this place, and so grateful that I live close. I get a craving for my comfort food chicken pho all the time, this place has such a good portion and one takeout order lasts me at least 2-3 meals when I have self control, lol. Somehow the sweet lady working there always knows exactly what I'm there for when I walk in to pick up my order, so it's always a quick and easy pickup. I don't know if they know how many times their food has renewed my very soul but I am eternally grateful. The spices in the broth are perfect and the second the smell hits my nose I feel like I'm being hugged. Incredible place. I LOVE YOU, PHO HOAI

Yelp
Hello Yelpers, I Pray all is well. Support your local Pho restaurant. I got the Pho with brisket and tripe. Yes, I will return here when I'm in the area. Service is friendly. The soup is delicious. Peace & Many Rich Blessings

Yelp
This is a non-assuming place located on 185th Ave and Baseline intersection. My son and I used to visit this place whenever he came down from New York for a vacation or some downtime. Today we re-visited this place for lunch. We were never disappointed in this place with whatever we have ordered and consumed. The food is really really good and tasty. We ordered shrimp sticks, deep fried spring rolls, grilled pork chops with rice, spicy soup with beef shank and shrimp balls with pho noodles. Everything was so tasty and amazing. Don't forget to ask for their chilly oil sauce on the side, it is way different and inhouse made, it is out of this world. Also asked for typical mom tom dipping sauce on the side. Which is fermented shrimp pase and topped with sliced spicy green chillies. Mind blowing experience. It is a hidden gem, Vietnamese cuisine situated in a non-assuming place. I totally recommend this place and don't go by simple, a little run down place but the food is awesome. If you are a real foodie and do not really care for ambiance and white table cloth service, this is it. I am Def nicely going to be a regular customer.

Yelp
So yummy! This place has been here for over a decade, and I forgot about it. I recently discovered it again, and the prices are about 2/3 of other Vietnamese places. The fresh salad rolls were great with peanut sauce, and the steaming hot pho with flank steak was flavorful. Definitely worth the trip!

Ryan C.

Yelp
Yummy food and great warm customer service. I recommend it :) Not bad prices either. Come try it

Jan C.

Yelp
This is a sweet family run establishment with authentic Vietnamese food at great prices. Find classics like pho, other soups, rice plates, vermicelli bowls, and more. I have enjoyed everything I've tried, including the pho of course, banh xeo, mi quang, and various rice and noodle bowls. They have vegetarian options too.

Mare C.

Yelp
Cute little place to have lunch before going thrifting at Goodwill!. I got the Banh mi and it was excellent, nice fresh baguette and crispy veggies with fried tofu and a tasty sauce!

Yolanda E.

Yelp
Busy place on a weekday night. Decent amount of indoor seating. Don't recall hearing any music playing in the place. The menu has many options to choose from. I tried to order something that didn't have "soup" in its description or title, but still ended up with soup. It was supposd to have shrimp and fish balls in it. I only got two shrimp, and no fish balls. (Did they give me the wrong order?) the meal was too expensive considering that. The waiter never came by to ask how our food was or to offer to refill our waters. We also weren't given forks or knives, only spoons and chopsticks. Not enough lightning in the women's restroom.

Denise G.

Yelp
I always eat c6 serve good amount of food and they are so nice to my baby they bring her vegetables, soup

Emily C.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem!! My husband and I ordered their pho with beef meat ball and salad rolls with a side of homemade chili sauce. I wanted to add it to everything. You can't get quality taste like this, especially for the price. The service was really good and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!!

Mark A.

Yelp
Ordered the tofu spring rolls and wonton soup. Order came out fast but the spring rolls didn't look right - it had some shredded stuff that we later learned was jicama, which was not what we ordered, but they said it was. Whatever. I'm not going to war over a $7 appetizer. At least they gave us the peanut sauce we were supposed to have. The wonton soup was....ok. The broth was pretty bland. I'd get it again if I really felt like wonton soup and had nowhere else to go, I guess. But long story short, we will most likely not be coming back here ever again.

Jin J.

Yelp
Authentic and clean, this would be our pho spot. The service is great and polite. Food are amazing

Amala N.

Yelp
Very good food and the staff are extremely kind and pleasant. Very reasonably priced.

Jonathan V.

Yelp
So good and great price! New Fav Pho spot! Super friendly and cute little spot. I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Local Vietnamese restaurant that is family owned. Upon arriving, we were told to sit where we wanted and they quickly brought us waters and the menus. They have both regular tables and booths which is nice if you are with a larger party. The menu had a lot of different options. Tons of appetizers, phos and rice dishes to choose from. We got the pork bahn mi and beef pho. The food came out fairly quicly as well. The pork bahn mi was very tasty, simple but fresh ingredients that went well together. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The beef pho was good as well. The broth is on the lighter side in terms of flavor. They gave a generous amount of meat and noodles and bean sproats and chili pepper that came on the side. The price is very good for the amount of food you get. The drinks are on the more expensive side vs other Vietnamese places. We also ordered an orange juice but they forgot about it - they just removed it from our total at the end when we were paying. It looked like it was just the owner sitting people down, taking orders and acting as the cashier so you may have to be more patient. Overall, great local place for pho - I would recommend coming here on colder days. Good portions but I wish the soup had a more rich flavor.

LC H.

Yelp
We always eat here for birthdays. Sometimes it's good, and sometimes it's great. I have not had a bad meal in the seven years we have been eating here.

Genevieve C.

Yelp
The best in town. Broth is always comforting the meat balls are my absolute favorite. For 11.95 you can't go wrong with this bowl of pho goodness. Always feels like home when I eat here

Jeziree F.

Yelp
Just moved to Oregon and found this gem just 5 minutes from my place. I want to say I've been here 6 times in the last 2 months bc of the quality, portion and price! So so good. I dinged 1 star bc they don't check in after bringing the food. To the table. I always have to walk up to the front counter to ask for refills.

Genaro L.

Yelp
I love this pho spot because it's close to home with very welcoming staff and good prices for the portions. The food tastes great, sometimes it can be bland or rushed but it doesn't happen often. Cosy family vibe and very calming environment.

Yulma R.

Yelp
I come here often and get the same food every time. The Super Bowl, Tofu, and shrimp salad rolls. You should definitely try this place! The workers are always polite and mostly leave you alone which I appreciate.

John L.

Yelp
A lot of milling around but no attempt to take our order. No eye contact as they walked by our table no less than 10 times. Restaurant less than half full. We asked for help and were ignored for almost 10 more minutes whilemore diners arrived and were shown to thier tables. We walked out and went 2 doors down the Thai place. I recommend you just start there.

James O.

Yelp
New to the neighborhood and wanted to support a local restaurant during this winter storm and Valentine's Day. Pho Hoai originally closed at 8pm because the storm but they called me back and told me they would take my order. This is one of the best Pho restaurants I have ever been too, and their customer service is absolutely amazing! Ask for the chili sauce, it might be the perfect homemade touch!

Crispin V.

Yelp
Great food.. the special spicy sauce is a treat .. I always do take out from this place so can't comment about the dine in experience but the pho is really good..

Jim B.

Yelp
The Pho is really good here. Today, I ordered the Super Bowl. It was full of meat and noodles, and the broth was just perfect. I think it would be hard to find a better bowl of Pho.

Little Dude's M.

Yelp
Amazing authentic Vietnamese food, almost always super busy. And the owner is very friendly and lovely to chat with when she has a moment. This is a new fave, absolutely worth your time to check out!

Julian S.

Yelp
The service was quick for takeout! First time. Phoned them, and was ready in 10 minutes.

Patty C.

Yelp
impressive beef brisket soup with egg noodles. Equally amazing was the generous amount of tender assorted beef in their flavorful duc biet house special pho. (a bit of unskimmed oil floating on top didn't deter us once we buried the veggies and started in). As attentive as they were to food (fringed carrot slices) they were all-in with service. Glad we looked past the location of this little family-run gem hiding in a Goodwill strip mall.

Adrienne C.

Yelp
My partner & I were craving bún thịt nướng so we came here for dinner & dined in. The meat was extremely well-seasoned and the ratio between the noodles, meat & veggies were perfect. The fish sauce here is one of the best I've ever had. I really enjoyed my bún thịt nướng. Service was also very friendly & super helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Marjorie N.

Yelp
My family and I love this place! It's my little boy's favorite pho after my husband's home cooked pho. He is 6 and can finish a large bowl by himself! Very nice people who own and run the restaurant. No frills place and all the dishes we've tried so far are extremely delicious. I love looking at all the plant decor there too.

Jacob K.

Yelp
best pho in the city fr. I know thats a heated statement bc there is over 100+ pho places on the map, but they serve a home made chili oil that has lasted 4 generations!

Janet M.

Yelp
I have the plague. My teen gave it to me. She is a sharer, that one. Plague requires copious quantities of soup. I toughed it out at home for a few days but today after a friend beseeched me I left my afghan and couch, dragged my aching, congested body to the car and drove here. I'd never been here before. I chose it today because Black Rock is in the same parking lot. What? Yes I have a problem. Sssh. Anyway at 1:15pm this place was mostly empty. It is simply decorated and lightly staffed. Several empty tables had dirty dishes on them. My also plague ridden buddy and I chose a table and a server came immediately with menus asking if we knew what to order. We didn't. It's a long menu! Sick buddy was overwhelmed and took a while to choose. They have everything. All the Vietnamese things. It is 7 pages long. When she returned after a while we ordered fried wonton, wonton soup, and a vermicelli noodle bowl with pork. The wonton were terrible. Tough. Overcooked. Thick tortilla-like skins. Bland. Ugh. When she asked us how everything was we failed to tell her. I couldnt find words. We did the uh huh thing. Noodle bowl was ok. Some fatty inedible pork. Buddy added a big squirt of hoisin, saying it was a bit bland. My wonton soup had totally different tender steamed wonton (good thing), lots of noodles, a salty but mostly bland pork broth, big slices of pork, lettuce, and a side of the usual pho accompaniments ( lime, basil, jalapenos, and bean sprouts). Doctored with hoisin and some red sauce out of an unlabeled bottle ( maybe Siracha??) it was pretty good. Honestly any steamy broth would do it right now. Plague, you know. Apparently you go to the register in the back to pay. This is one of my pet peeves. Either ALL sit down and table service or ALL go to the counter. Not some weird mix of both that no one explains. Please. I asked our server for our ticket and she motioned with her head towards the back and said "counter" ( I think) as she filled our water glasses. ( btw she did do that often, which is good). Sadly my phone lost my soup and wonton photos. The soup was pretty. You will just have to trust me. I dont know if I'd go back. There are several other choices for Vietnamese food that I like better.

Ly V.

Yelp
Ordered a super bowl in regular size and banh mi. The broth was good, really didn't need to add anything else to the broth. It did fall a bit short on the meat side. Thankfully I wasn't super hungry, so it wasn't that big of a deal. The veggies are fresh and the noodles were perfect. It wasn't the best pho ever, but if you're looking for something quick and will hit the spot, this will do. The Banh mi was most disappointing. The give you three options; ham, grilled beef or chicken. I'm used to the combo meats, but since I could only choose one, I went with ham. I had this for dinner and was super shocked at how pathetic it was. There were only slivers of barely pork rolled ham and the veggies were non existent. This is by far the saddest banh mi I've ever consumed. At the very least, this would have been good for my kid who doesn't like much veggies and can bite into it without make a mess. Pho is good, banhmi, not the least bit.

Lisa C.

Yelp
(My) World's best Curry Chicken Soup, with vermicelli... And in-house chili paste (My) Must-eat whenever I am in town.. thank you Pho Hoai for this amazing dish through all these years. Please keep making it...

Tina H.

Yelp
My friends and I went there to eat for lunch. The foods was not that great. The vietnamese coffee is made from canned food. It's doesn't taste the same ice coffee. Not fresh at all. After all, I think I got exposed and got test positive Covid. The seating table was super dirty and not sanitize until I mentioned them the table is still dirty.

Ac E.

Yelp
I ordered a wanton noodle soup, pho, and spring rolls from Pho Hai recently. The food was decently priced and perfect for the cold, rainy weather. I even had leftovers! The ladies working were very nice and helpful. Just like many businesses, the pandemic has negatively affected their business. If you want to support local businesses, please consider Pho Hai! I definitely plan on coming back.

Angel P.

Yelp
I typically order my pho from here. But lately The food haven't been great. If you asked for shrimp fried rice. Shouldn't you get shrimp fried rice. In my case, No i got some random mixture of meat and only 3 shrimp which i paid for shrimp fried rice. I called and they wanted to say sorry we usually do it like this. Which is totally weird. And on top of that my rice was burnt. I'm very disappointed with my food. And don't let me mention. The pho wasn't on point today. This place is a hit and miss with their pho broth. Not Consistent. I'll probably not come here anymore.

Jenny R.

Yelp
Food has great flavor and very good ingredients. The meat is good quality too. Everything I have ordered is always the best. This is our go to place when we can't decide. Always fast and fresh. Great owners and employees!

Malisa T.

Yelp
Asked for no tendon, but there was tendon. No water refills, and the beef meatballs looked like they were 2-3 years old in the freezer. Not so great experience as the broth wasn't that great either

Lyn C.

Yelp
I'm trying to understand the somewhat average rating here, and I don't quite get it. I gave them a 4-star, but to me it's probably more like a 4.5, if that was an option. I guess I rounded down because the place isn't super clean, and the owner seems to talk about everyone who walks in in Vietnamese, Anjelah Johnson style, when she has friends who happen to be in there... like you just know they're talking shit (or they're not, it just feels like it). The food, though, has been really good each time. Menu is extensive with Vietnamese fare... in fact their soup options alone are probably more extensive than many pho restaurants in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area's entire menus. Beef broth, pork broth, lemongrass broth... any number of meat/seafood combinations... different noodle options, etc. It's all been really good for me. Also, get the coconut Thai tea boba.. you won't regret it. With all the boba and milk tea options in the area, and many of them being quite decent, this drink seems to stand out as one I go out of my way for. In short - don't expect high-end service or a spotless setting, expect to get talked about in Vietnamese if they have friends in the restaurant, and expect good authentic tasting diverse Vietnamese noodle soups.

Cassy R.

Yelp
My husband and I both ordered Pho Tai. Good broth (4 stars) and very tender meat (5 stars). Wontons (rangoons) were nice and plump, but a bit overfried. Would order again.

Jenn L.

Yelp
Ordered beef pho and it was very tasty my first time here and I really liked it. I will be back again and I do recommend.

Jessie P.

Yelp
Oh wow, the pho is so good! Tender meat, broth with dimension, fresh bean sprouts, lime, jalapeno, and basil to dress. We also had the salad rolls- really fresh and rolled with skill. Nice homemade peanut sauce! The potstickers were so-so. A little skimpy on the filling, and a little over-fried. Unfortunately, the service was meh. The gal just disappeared. As we were the only ones in there for lunch, I'm guessing she was spending her time doing side-work.

Courtney C.

Yelp
I do not know if maybe it's because a lot of people do not know about this place but I practically live here. They truly have the MOST AMAZING PHO I HAVE EVER TASTED!!!! They have the most amazing service.... kind, and funny, and good memory. They are so sweet and the young lady is so nice. I will NEVER EVER EVER eat Pho ANYWHERE else!!!

David F.

Yelp
Understaff and thats why plates on tables are left out un clean tables, workers are working fast not very good customer service friendliness, other that price and food taste good.

Mike L.

Yelp
I have driven by this strip mall for years now and decided that it was time to put the Pho quest list back in action. The little joint is fantastic the Pho is solid on flavor, the broth is not clear but a tad cloudy but thats not important when the flavor packs a punch. The pho was super meaty more so than any other pho place I've been to so thats a plus, and lots of noodles also. I ordered the chicken wings and they were fantastic they were not the regular fish sauce wings but a nice lite battered style deep fried wing. Over all I will be back this place is very very good.

Emma T.

Yelp
This is our favorite pho place in the Beaverton area. Vegetarian pho is delicious and much more flavorful than many vegetarian phos. Owners are very kind. For example they once helped me carry my to go order to the car.

Perla A.

Yelp
Our family has been coming here since they opened !! Owner has became a great family friend over all these years and is so great to us. The food is delicious even my toddler enjoys the pho !
