4 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"This Stanton pho-focused restaurant draws long queues that move quickly; the menu centers on pho with variations of beef parts from rare steak to hulking bones—rare steak and brisket were tried (steak tender and well-flavored, brisket a bit tough)—and the excellent selection of herbs (ngo om to basil) adds fresh punch to a broth that rates among the top tier in the area at about $12 a bowl served within minutes." - Eater Staff

Google
Great quality, very clean, they fixed the issues they have on their original location, so that means they are and will keep improving. Price is average in general, but more affordable if you compare it with similar high quality pho. Don’t expect world class customer service, people go there to eat good pho, not fur their warm charm. They have plenty of tables, and also bigger shared tables outside. Bathroom is actually clean for a place this crowded. This is on a little mall type of thing, finding parking can be challenging.

Google
Decent food, and good portions of meat. The broth it could be better. Also they keep two giant doors open which can get a little cold at night. I'm not sure what's in those clear containers but it's definitely not Hoisin sauce, but maybe it's homemade. The bathrooms are disgusting. Nice Christmas decorations!

Google
The pho was good and the price is reasonable. We came on a weekday lunch and had to wait in the line for a little bit. The line moves quick since you just order at the front desk, not many options but all seems good. They served the pho pretty quick. It is a good place for a quick lunch. I feel the soup base is a little too oily but it is just me

Google
Great spot! Broth has a deep flavour profile with all those spices and just enough meatiness. For the cultured ones among us who enjoy more herbal broths, this is the place! Highly recommend! Portion sizes are quite healthy as well.

Google
The food is delicious, with well-balanced flavors and generous portions. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent prices for such good quality. The atmosphere is nice, and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a place I highly recommend for anyone looking for great food without overspending. I’ll definitely be coming back!✨

Delicious pho and friendly vibes! 🍜✨ The broth is rich, fresh toppings, and portions are generous. Definitely a must-try spot! 😋👍

Google
Sorry for the low quality photo, but I definitely recommend trying this restaurant! I like how they keep their menu simple, and their pho tastes exactly how you’d expect pho to taste—not too salty or sweet, but just the right amount of flavor and savoriness. I also liked how “introvert-friendly” this restaurant is, as you simply order at a register, pay, and then wait for them to bring you your food.

Google
Crazy line and hard to find parking at peak hours. Pho is just as good as the original location. Outdoor seating available too

Yelp
We went to another location of phoholics before and loved it. So decided to try out this location. Met up with friend here for early lunch on a rainy day. So the outdoor seating can't be used and the wait is long. They are located next to the food court. It took me some time to look for it in the rain. There was still a line eventho it was raining. Our party already ordered and paid up front before we were seated. This makes the process so much faster. The pho came out soon after we were seated. The pho was sooo good!! I love the veggies that they came with & the soup was so yum. I didn't see the chili oil station next to the wall until late.
google avatar

Crystal N.

Yelp
I've only had good experiences here the times I've been. The line may be intimidating but it moves so fast. I prefer this location with "better" parking than the other one. The seating is more spacious as well since they have the outdoors area. You do order first and get a number, then find a seat. Your pho will come out and you can enjoy! The regular portion is very filling, you may even be able to split with a friend. I was able to get an extra bowl no problem. They have also been giving out an extra small bowl of meat on the house, at least for dining in. Water cups are also provided. I'm sure over time they will be way more efficient!

Yelp
My fiancé and I both agree that Phoholic is one of the best pho spots in OC, but unfortunately, this location has consistently been the worst. The system feels disorganized, and the service is unwelcoming. As my fiancé was finishing up the order, I noticed a couple about to leave and went to sit at their table. A male server wearing glasses immediately told me to wait outside without explaining why. When I asked, he said I needed to order first before sitting down. I explained that my fiancé was paying at that moment, but he continued to speak to me rudely and refused to let me stay at the table. After going back and forth, he finally said there was another group waiting -- which I would've completely understood if he had just explained politely from the start. Instead, his attitude was unnecessarily rude and really ruined our dinner experience. Phoholic should train their staff here better and have clear signage for customers. It's confusing to know what to do after ordering -- should we wait at the door to be seated or go find a table ourselves? Clear directions would make the experience much smoother for everyone.

Yelp
Ever since this place opened, I cannot help but rank it the top 3 pho places ever in existence. I completely finish the entire bowl each time and I am so full and happy. Whether it's raining or not, I want my pho from here!!! Prices have slowly gone up since it opened but honestly it's still so worth it. I usually don't wait long. I was in line for maybe 5 minutes and once I ordered I sat down and waited patiently but not long for my hot steaming bowl. I love this place. I cannot get enough of it. Spent $16.86 on just the bowl after taxes. Give it a try. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Pretty solid pho! Service was quick for a Saturday evening. I liked the broth a lot and they were pretty generous with the meat.
google avatar

Janae P.

Yelp
Great service. The broth was not as tasty as I thought it would be. The flavor wasn't rich enough. I came here because of they had a lot of good reviews. They don't have shrimp. I'm a pediatrician. I only eat seafood. So, I depended on the broth and noodles. The noodles are made fresh and are good. Honestly, Pho Redbo, Pho 45, and Pho Flavor have tastier Pho.
google avatar

Ken H.

Yelp
Bro, Bruh, Brah, the broth in this pho is what it's all about. I done been to this pho place about 5011 times. I've had the meatball pho, the rare steak pho, & one or two of the other random list of beefy meats phos. Sometimes I wear my Pho King shirt whilst consuming pho here. No one seems to laugh at my funny shirt; I do find it mildly amusing to wear there all the same. I do not know whether the ambience here is serene or loud. I am always slurping pho here too vigorously to hear or accurately assess the noise level around me. Nothing quite like getting all those yummy meat globs & flat noodles consumed to set up that one on one time with the Phoholic broth.

Yelp
First time at PhoHolic in Stanton and it was great experience I'll be back for sure. Here's a few things to mention. Food: Amazing!!! I ordered the steak and honeycomb pho with small noodles and it was incredible. The portions are huge so you get plenty of food and a lot of broth which I personally loved. The flavors are powerful and you get your food in a reasonable time. This was a fantastic experience. Steak and Honeycomb Pho - never had honeycomb in my pho before but I'm so glad I tried it. Taste was so so good. Back Ribs - are huge and you get 2 for $8.00 flavor was good. It wasn't tough to eat and it had plenty of meat. Atmosphere: It's a really cool setup they have seating in the restaurant but they also share an outdoor space with the surrounding restaurants. The outside area is astetically nice with string lights in white balls, plenty of seating, and plenty of space surrounded by green hedges. Service: The staff is nice and attentive, they took our large order quickly and didn't get anything wrong with the order. I can appreciate people taking good notes. Makes the experience even better. Price: It's about $17.00-$20.00 per person but the portions are HUGE!!! no lie. You won't be disappointed. The sides are lot cheaper than o expected which also balances the costs of you order sides of course. Location: It's located in Stanton (Orange County) at Rodeo 39 Parking: There is a lot of parking however, the lot is share with many different restaurants so it can be difficult to find parking. Be prepared to look for a few minutes it's nothing to bad.

Yelp
Phoholic is the pho spot that is definitely a bang for your buck. When I order this for dine in, I can barely finish the portion and have leftovers. It comes with a good amount of noodles, protein, and veggies. What more is there is ask for? You order your food with the cashier before getting seated. The restaurant is decently sized with their own indoor seating. It can get busy so sometimes it's easier to eat outdoors or grab for takeout. ig: @cravingswithcat
google avatar

Natasha N.

Yelp
This place gets so busy! They take your order at the front before you sit down. The pho broth was surprisingly very flavorful. The noodles had a good chew. The meat wasn't as tender as I hoped it would be. The ambiance is very lively. There's a lot of people coming in and out of this restaurant. As Always, NOM 4 LIFE!
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
This place is almost always busy, but so far the 3-4 times I've gone (both dining in and getting takeout and getting delivery) the food has been fresh and top quality. Broth is clean and flavorful without being overly oily. Portion size is large, I usually can split an order into two meals if I order extra noodles. They are generous with the veggies and toppings on the side. Employees are helpful and kind. Dining in, it can get busy and loud in the large indoor room. Outdoor patio area seating also available
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
This place is so delicious. Do not forget to ask for the fatty soup. It gets really busy, but it goes really fast. I like how they have the seat outside. It feels so refreshing to sit outside. The food is really good. Sometimes they walk around and give you free food.
google avatar

Thuy Dan T.

Yelp
Our typical go to spot for pho. The impression is so strong that my dad insists coming eating here every time he visits Orange County. You order at the counter and find a table. The staff is efficient and friendly. I always get the #15 and the portions are generous without lessening the quality of the broth or ingredients. They give plenty of herbs and they even know the portions are plenty where there's bowls you can get yourself to share. We also got the side of oxtail which I think another OC pho rival does better. Another must get the side of tendon -- it's so worth for only a few extra bucks.
google avatar

Jerry H.

Yelp
This is a really good bowl of pho for its price as well. The soup was very clear and there was a good amount of meat
google avatar

Nik W.

Yelp
Came here in May 2025 and the broth was absolutely delicious, some of the best I've ever had. In fact, it was so good that two days later, I took another group of friends to the original location when I realized we were nearby. Portions are a good size and we absolutely demolished our bowls despite the 95° weather. This location was bigger, the other a bit more cramped. Both were visited at odd evening hours and still very busy! Hope the quality is maintained because this will be a consistent stop on visits to SoCal as long as they're around.
google avatar

Ye J.

Yelp
Had dinner here based on local friend's recommendation. Located in a shopping plaza, plenty of parking available. The restaurant was busy and full of Asians (which is a good sign). Service was pretty minimal; order at the door and pay ahead, the waiters will bring the veggie toppings and pho to your table. I got the #14 which came with steak, flank, fatty flank, tendon and tripe (unfortunately there was no tendon in my bowl). While flavor of the soup was solid and the portion was pretty big for the price, the various cut of the meats were pretty tough and chewy. Overall, not a bad choice compared to other California pricing, but there are definitely better pho spots in Houston.

Yelp
Craving a warm bowl of pho on a chill night? Pho Holic 2 totally hit the spot. I came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we had a great experience from start to finish. When you arrive, make sure to order at the counter first before grabbing a table. What we ordered: * #4 Pho Chin - Brisket pho * Full of flavor, rich broth, and the brisket was tender and tasty. * #2 Pho Thai Chin - Steak & brisket pho * The steak was thinly sliced and cooked perfectly in the hot broth. Really flavorful combo! Service was quick and the staff was super friendly and attentive. We chose to sit outdoors since the weather was perfect that night. I was comfy in joggers and a hoodie, but my boyfriend ended up with a few mosquito bites, so just keep that in mind if you decide to sit outside. They do have indoor seating too, so try to arrive a little early to get a table. Nice spot for a casual dinner, especially if you're looking for something quick, filling, and flavorful. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Lisa Y.

Yelp
One thing I've noticed about Phoholic is that it always has a line out the door! While you're in line, someone takes your order and then you pay at the counter before being seated. They'll bring your food to your table when it's ready. The restaurant itself seats a decent amount of people, but I've noticed that they'll also seat people in the outdoor seating area and sometimes even the tables inside of Rodeo39. Not sure how they determine who gets to sit where though, since when I went, we asked if we could sit outside, but they told us we had to sit inside (even though another PhoHolic party was enjoying their meal at the outdoor tables)... They have 17 different phos to choose from ranging from simple (1-2 meats) to more loaded (5 meats). For each of them, you get to choose your noodle type: small or flat/fresh noodles. I got the brisket pho, and it was good, tasty broth and a decent amount of meat. The meat was a little of the fatty side though. They give you lots of fixings on the side--Thai basil, bean sprouts, onions, and lime, sauces and utensils on the table.
google avatar

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
I like how they have you order while you wait in line, that way by the time you sit, waiting for the food won't take long. This location is located inside the Rodeo 39 plaza. Considering the parking lot is big, it's always so crowded. Expect a long line to wait to order and to wait for a table. The pho is on the more oily side, but lots of flavor. I wish it came out more hot, it was more warm/room temperature. I've had better pho but overall still pretty decent. The servers weren't really nice and kind of made a look whenever you ask for something, but they still helped when needed. I've been here a couple times too, and everything I said has been a consistent experience.
google avatar

Brenda I.

Yelp
My friend recommended we have lunch here today. You order at the counter after you enter the restaurant. The menu is put up on the window prior entering. We got lucky and beat the lunch crowd. My friend said the brisket pho was good ,so I got it too. There is a variety of meat options to choose from. You also need to pick your noodle size. Add additional herbs if you want. After you order, they will offer inside or outside patio. Find a table then wait for your food. Service was fairly quick. Water was brought to the table and was the veggies for your pho. ( a nice touch that they flash boil the bean sprouts ) Sometimes if you get there early, they may give you a complimentary small bowl of meat from the broth batch! This lil bowl was full of tender meat and tasty broth. One if the best pho I've had! They are very generous with the meat. Don't be fooled by my pics . There were lots of meat on the bottom too! I actually couldn't eat all the meat in the pho. I brought my leftover pho home and made another small meal for the hubby later that night.( I added a can of chicken broth.) I think I found my new pho place. I am eager to bring my husband and daughter here to try their pho.
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
Love the location and that they have a lot of seating with a pet-friendly patio, but the pho from here is not as good as other competitors around Westminster area. They used to have a decent deal for $12. You get a hefty portion of pho packed with a ton of protein. However, that's no longer around. They still give you plenty of food but the broth lacks any depth or savor. Instead, it is filled with so much fat that the soup gives our lips a glossy sheen after each sip. We're left feeling heavy after finishing our bowls. Other than the okay pricing, we're not sure if Phoholic is our go-to Pho spot if we ever have any cravings.
google avatar

Phuonghuyen N.

Yelp
Phoholic never misses to disappoint me until today. Their quality and service has definitely decreased. I understand that it is busy & packed due to the weather & holidays so everyone & their mamas want pho. The line isn't too bad, you order & pay upfront first & then get seated outside or inside. We got seated inside all the way in the back in the corner. It took them a while than usual to bring out the drinks, herbs & veggies for us. We asked for small containers to put our condiments in to dip & they never came with them so we had to get it ourselves. Then came our pho. My pho was okay...not as flavorful compared to before. However, they messed up my parents...theirs came out with the broth not hot & the meat still being undercooked because you can see the redness still...we tried to tuck it under the broth to let it cook a bit however since the broth was not hot enough it did not cook. We let the servers know & they said they would bring out a hot bowl of broth for us to cook it in, but again they never did!!!! What the heck happened to the quick service & hot & flavorful broth?! Absolutely disappointed.

George D.

Yelp
Cashier was rude and had terrible communication. Did not seem like he wanted to be there at all. Will tell family and friends about this service. Night shift cashier Dec 13.

Yelp
TLDR: Don't be fooled by the star rating. This is a perfectly fine bowl of pho at a price point that is competitive within the area. The portions are good where a bowl will be enough for one person, but throwing in the additives really makes a meal for two have a diverse set of meats. 2. Phở Tái, Chín: The broth is hearty, the amount of meat is respectable, and the noodle portions are good. The clean, beefy taste of the broth is something different compared to my favorite spots. The brisket is a bit of a letdown, but it's still decent. The rare steak is one of the better rare steaks I've had at this price point. The way they serve it is a bit dangerous, though, because it's balled up within the soup, so unfurling the ball of rare meat 5-10 minutes into the meal after focusing on the noodle, brisket, or the beansprouts that you personally threw in will cause the insides of that ball to stay as rare beef. So mix immediately after getting the bowl, making sure all the rare beef is exposed to the hot soup asap. Extra Beef rib: 2 good ribs with pho broth that is slightly different from the broth in #2. It's oiler, and it feels like some marrow was incorporated into it. They serve this with scissors because the beef rib's grip to the bone is random. One bone can have meat falling off while the other will give the scissors a run for its money. What is consistent is the texture of the beef after it has parted ways with the bone. The chew is just right and soft in the fattier sides, and I am a fan of it. Fresh Noodles: I enjoy flat noodles, so I requested fresh noodles on the #2 and got an extra order. These noodles were chewy, the portions were good, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this. Service: It's fast. You order when you come in, and the food arrives in what feels like less than 10 minutes. I was a little irritated because the person taking my order wouldn't let me finish my sentences, but that has nothing to do with the food, which is where my priorities lie. Ambiance: This bright restaurant has a lot of space. It's in a good area with a good amount of parking and a place for dates and family.

Yelp
Came in around 9:10am when they just opened. There was already several parties sitting. It was easy to order and get seated. I heard good things so wanted to try, but it did not meet my expectations. Pho broth was okay and not hot enough at all though my meat cooked fine. It did come out in a timely manner and we did like that pickled onions come out without having to ask. Brisket could have been softer. Overall, not bad but would not come to this location again. My mom said the other location is better, so I would def be open to trying it.
google avatar

Daisy A.

Yelp
It's Sunday and drizzling around noon the line was out to the side walk but the wait was not long at all, maybe 10 minutes. It's packed! We managed to get an indoor table way at the back. I don't usually eat pho. I don't like the noodles but I wanted warm broth today. They will give you a number and tell you where to sit. I ordered the Oxtail pho ( did not eat the noodles). The broth was delicious and the oxtail was flavorful and tender. Minus the kids next to me coughing up a lung and not covering their mouths the experience was okay. Next time I'll sit outside if the day is nice. I will return.
google avatar

Tan P.

Yelp
Been here multiple times, but this was my first to-go order. They made an exception for me and made my pho hot, ready to eat (usually to-go orders are delivered cold, reheat later). I wanted to eat at a table near the arcade at Rodeo 39 and ordered the #13 Pho with steak and oxtail. The wait to order was not long because it was just after they opened around 11:30 am. The wait for the meal was about 5-10 minutes. They packaged it very organized and included all the flatware, sauces, and garnishes. The temperature of the broth does decrease after you add all the vegetables, but it was still very good and warm. The size didn't look big, but it was very filling. Definitely will order here again.
google avatar

Michelle S.

Yelp
LOTS of outdoor seating, pretty solid spot to take a large group on a hang out. food came out really quick, only note was that the broth was a little too salty and there wasn't much meat.
google avatar

Alan ..

Yelp
I'm a regular @ PhoHolic, Staton location. The 'Crazy Rich Broth' is always so delicious and feels so nourishing. The environment is a bit cafeteria-like, and they try and maximize the space with its many customers, so you might have to sit next to other diners/share a long table, but I don't seem to mind when I'm there, it's all about the Pho. There's usually a line during the winter months or on cold days. The bathroom in the back of the restaurant can sometimes be dirty, so I recommend using the restroom next door in the Rodeo food court area before you get in line. One of OC's best eats!
google avatar

Mary N.

Yelp
Pho-get about it... I don't understand the long line here but everyone does has different taste buds. Broth is super dark and doesn't smell like pho. If you get togo and ask for pickled onions they'll put it in with the green onions and cilantro so you'll think everything is spoiled. Tendons are a good size but too chewy or hard. Amount of meat is less compared to other pho places.
google avatar

Angelica L.

Yelp
I'm surprised the ratings are so low--Phoholic is a classic! The broth here is delicious, easily one of my favorite pho spots in Orange County. I even like it more than Pho 79. I prefer this location over the others because it's spacious, so I rarely have to wait long for a table. I also love that they have outdoor seating, which means I can bring my dog while enjoying a bowl of pho. This is huge for me because I take my dogs everywhere, and finding a pho spot with outdoor seating is like finding a needle in a haystack. That said, the service isn't great. It's pretty much "self-service" here--you find your own table, grab your own napkins, and probably can't rely on the waiters for much. You also order and pay at the front after waiting in line, not at your table. If you're expecting a typical restaurant experience, this isn't the place for you. But if you're just here for great pho and don't mind the no-frills setup, this spot delivers.
google avatar

Kevin D.

Yelp
Reminds me of a school cafeteria. You order your pho and grab a table. The pho came out hot and quick! Was surprised by the portion. This pho hit the spot, but doesn't feel like a restaurant. After you get your pho and cup of water, they kind of ignore you. I had to be patient to get more water
google avatar

Randy T.

Yelp
This gem still tastes the same which is very good! My coworker and I both got the #1. This restaurant is huge and we still had to wait for 2-3 minutes.
google avatar

Eugene A.

Yelp
I went here with a friend on a busy Saturday night. There was a manageable line right outside of the restaurant, even at 8pm. The restaurant has enough seating for dine-in, along with an al-fresco option right outside along Rodeo 39's corridor. It may be tricky trying to find PhoHolic's location inside Rodeo 39, since they are a standalone restaurant instead of a food court stall. But I'm confident that customers will find their way to eat legit pho here. During busy times, whether it's for dine-in or to-go, a staff member with an ipad/tablet may likely stand outside to ask customers if they're ready to order. When we were in line, a staff member asked us if we were ready. We gave our orders and were promoted to pay at the cashier once it was our turn. After paying, we were assigned a table since we opted for dine in. Within less than 10 minutes, our orders were brought to our table. The pho was piping hot and I could immediately smell the authentic aroma from it. My Pho Tai was therapeutic and the broth tasted perfect. It wasn't too salty nor overpowering. I opted for thin noodles and were fresh and not soggy. It had generous portions of sliced beef, which complemented the soup and provided basil and bean sprouts. There are no flaws in PhoHolic's authentic pho and it's worth the trip!
google avatar

Mindy S.

Yelp
I came to PhoHolic because it's a convenient place to get a bowl of Pho. I came by Rodeo39 a lot and what I noticed was that they are always opened during all holidays! I also love coming here when I have my dogs with me, as they are dog friendly with outdoor patio for dining. Food is good. You'll get so much noodles and beef in your big bowl. I usually have no problem here but today, I was waiting in the line and a couple of servers came to take our orders on their tablets. I thought it was nice of them to speed up the line but there was no menu given to you. When I get to the paying, I asked the lady if I could switch my order and she rolled her eyes. I also found hair in my food today. I told the servers and they replaced my bowl.
google avatar

Jenny P.

Yelp
The quality has gone down since I last came but still a solid pho spot. Portions are smaller from last time including the side veggies and bean sprouts, environment is spacious, and the pho is good. I recommend going to the Westminster location if you want to try PhoHolic.
google avatar

jenny t.

Yelp
Order at the entrance, food delivered to your table of your choice. Service is quick. Beef bone is available but wasn't listed on the menu u this last time. Any of the pho bowls are recommended. The soup is flavorful with good amount of meat. No need to order "pho" just side of meat if doing keto and price is reasonable. Very spacious. Apparently, you can have your pho anywhere in the Rodeo 39 area. Eat in the patio out front of side tables inside of Rodeo 39. Don't go too far. Parking is challenging so be patient as a space will open up.
google avatar

My W.

Yelp
Phoholic at Rodeo 39 reminds me of my high school cafeteria line that just haphazardly forms from one point to another random point outside the door. There's not much of a system and no one controlling the old people from cutting the line in front of you. Everything about Phoholic screams mediocre at best. From the lines to the service. To the dirty tables in the courtyard. The pho was decent. I had the oxtail pho for $16.50. But I had to go up to the counter and ask for the pho sauces. Everything was just ok. Phoholic takes me back to a time when my kids were young and everyone wins an award for just being there. Congratulations, Phoholic, here's your participation trophy. You showed up. You delivered. And you were not bad. But you weren't great either. If you want good oxtail, drive over to Pho 79. It's only like 7 minutes away.....

Yelp
Hate the name but the rest keeps me going back: the price, the portions, the quick service

Yelp
World-class Pho. PhoHolic is situated next to the lively food court, Rodeo 39. The line for this restaurant extended out of the restaurant and all the way to the parking lot; what this tells me is this place is legit. Despite the long line, service is incredibly efficient. We were seated indoors within 15 minutes of waiting, and there's also plenty of outdoor seating as well The pho is some of the best pho I've ever had. I had the oxtail and steak pho. The meats were fatty and delectable. The broth was nice a blend of sweet and savory. They give you a very generously sized bowl; my girlfriend and dad both had trouble finishing their soup. For $14-20, these pho bowls are well worth their value. In a town of extremely competitive pho restaurants, PhoHolic makes a name for itself with its flavorful pho, its plentiful meats and noodles, and its generous portions--all at an excellent value.

Yelp
Meet up with a long time friend this is in the same area so might as well give it a try. There's a line in front of the restaurant and all dining table occupied. The system is you go in line check the menu, pay for your order, once a table comes up they'll deliver your order based on your ticket number receipt. It's a Friday night so lots of crowd. I ordered the rare steak pho. I like the broth and tender beef. Now I know what the hype is about. This place is full of Phoholic in a good way.

Yelp
*** Credit cards are accepted *** Currently, this is one of three PhoHolic locations in Orange County (Stanton, Costa Mesa, and the flagship location in Garden Grove). It is also one of the busiest restaurants in the Rodeo 39 Public Market. [Parking]: There's a plaza parking lot and spots are usually available during less busy times. [How to order]: Orders are placed at the front counter where customers can choose indoor or outdoor seating as well as small or flat noodles for pho. The cashier assigns a table with a number and one of the staff members will deliver the food to your table. [Other comments]: There's a self-serve station near the entrance with take-out containers for leftover food or broth. However, the staff does not automatically restock the take-out containers so good luck on flagging someone down if containers run out. [Pho]: No vegetarian phos are available as every pho option features some variation of beef parts. The top Yelp recommended orders are #16 Beef Shank & Ox Tails Pho and #13 Steak & Oxtail Pho. *** #13 Steak & Oxtail Pho ($15.50): The portion size was generous and the bowl had a rich & savory broth. It also came with an extra bowl of broth topped with green onions. *** The pho was flavorful, but the lackluster service was enough to drop it from what could have been a solid 4-star pho spot.

Yelp
A very popular spot (though it could have just been the night we went) and the portions are fairly generous, but the flavor and taste were just a little wanting. This hotspot handled the crowds pretty well. They take your order up front while you wait for a seat to free up, this helps keep things moving pretty quickly. The restaurant itself is very airy and spacious. Feels nice and open and good for large groups. The bowls and sides are very generous, definitely filling. But the flavor was just a little lacking in the oomph I like in my Pho. It was just a little on the sweet side, and needed a bit more anise or spice. Decent place, but would head out to many other Pho options around.

Yelp
What happened to this place???? I've reviewed this place before and given them 5 stars... Today, Friday Nov 28th, 2025 I was there around 2pm for lunch. There was a guy, he was the only one wearing a black baseball cap, he was so RUDE and ARROGANT!!! At first I thought it was maybe me, he didn't like for some reason, but as I ate my pho bowl I watched him be rude to A LOT of customers too. I think if he's part of the family who owns this place, maybe success has gone to his head. That would suck!!! But if he's a manager that they hired/promoted they made a HUGE mistake. I'm sure the restaurant knows who I'm talking about or can find out. He was pretty much hanging out by the exit door and running back and forth being RUDE for the 20+ minutes I was there. If this happens again to me. I'm telling everyone not to come here.

Yelp
Always a solid comfort spot with consistently delicious pho. My family loves to get the dac biet pho and we love the broth! Sometimes if you're lucky they'll also come around with an extra bowl of some flavorful soup with extra bits of meat that's full of flavor. I also love that they give marinated onions here, I rarely see this at other pho restaurants and think it elevates the experience so much. Expect a wait though during the weekend - we arrived a little before 11 and still had to wait in line for a bit before ordering and getting a table! They're super efficient here though with ordering happening first, the bowls of pho coming out quickly after you get seated, and then you're free to go after finishing your meal! The parking lot is spacious but also gets full pretty early as it shares the space with rodeo39 public market which is fun to walk around after. Overall would always recommend as a solid pho spot to check out and experience!

Yelp
Located at Rodeo39 with a twist of modernized Vietnamese dining. First time here and the cash register ordering is interesting! Pho broth here is sweet in flavor, very reminiscent of southern style pho. Given the fact that it's in Rodeo39 will be a little bit pricier. I had the pho tai nam bo vien paired with an ice coffee. Ordered promptly, sat down and bowls of pho and drinks arrived swiftly. I can see how it's more efficient and less hassle to wave down waiters. Broth was too sweet for my taste. I prefer my broth a bit salty and savory. Overall I enjoyed the modern take on Vietnamese pho dining but didn't quite hit the mark for me from the broth.

Yelp
Broth probably would've been great if it was either hot, warm, or maybe even luke warm. It was room temperature if I was being generous (Refer to attached image). Staff seems overworked and unhappy. Not helpful whatsoever. Had to ask three different people for a bowl of hot broth to finally get something. Get what they are trying to do with the efficiency but god awful execution. You order and tip upfront and the minimum default was 15% which they certainly didn't deserve. Avoid unless you are craving overproduced pho with disgruntled employees and a complete lack of care for customers.

Yelp
Free iced tea and hot tea in addition to a complimentary bowl of meat and broth for the table. Very busy location at Rodeo 39. Options to sit outdoors or indoors. You pay first then grab a seat, which was actually convenient.
