Pho Hong Phat - Vietnamese Pho Restaurant, Vancouver, WA

Absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back for the Pho. Loved having sauces on table without having to ask. All the food was really really delicious, will recommend to all my friends and definitely will return! This is the best Banh Mi in Vancouver.

I ordered the vegan pho with a French baguette on the side and a refreshing limeade drink. It was as delicious as the others that reviewed it, had described. The broth was so flavorful. I hardly added anything to it (rare for me) . I really liked the mix of veggies they used; brick, cabbage, carrots scallions, basic mushrooms. The service here is lovely. The staff is friendly and attentive. The dining area is cozy and inviting, not fancy, just very nice.

The restaurant was quite pleasant overall. The food was generally good, although I do have a minor concern. I ordered the chicken pho, and I felt that the chicken could have used a bit more seasoning; it was somewhat tough and dry despite being served in a soup. On the positive side, the staff were very welcoming, and the meal arrived promptly. Overall, it was a satisfactory dining experience, with just that small issue to note.

If I lived around here, this place would be in the rotation. Excellent! We had the salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper fried wings, beef broth, and pork bahn mi. Everything was so delicious. The people are lovely. It's all good here!!

Had to come back a second time because of their spicy beef noodle soup. It's addictive! I didn't get this the first time I was here and regretted it even though my own dish was still good. I think their spicy beef noodle soup is a hidden gem. The beef was cooked just right so it's still tender and flavourful, and you can taste the lemongrass and spices in the broth. We came in around 6p and the restaurant was empty. The food came quickly (so happy since we arrived hungry). The man serving us was different this time and he helped explain some of the dishes. And the woman working there was so sweet. Will be returning again!

This is my favorite Pho restaurant! It’s the best Pho I’ve ever had! Their broth is just home made and super special flavor! I really recommend the vegetable and the chicken Pho! Owners are so sweet and food is like home made and super authentic! I recommend calling to order! portions are very well served !

I honestly feel bad giving a lower rating because the service was so incredibly nice. I was greeted by such a kind and warm older woman who quickly served me. I got my food quickly too... a little too quickly. It tasted as though it was heated unevenly, like it came out of the microwave. I also found a hair in the chicken that definitely was not mine, which left me kind of disturbed. The flavors were good, but I was not pleased by how it was prepared. The interior was pretty clean, though, and prices are good. I'm glad that this doesn't seem to be a regular thing though!

Big fan of this place. Clean, great service and decorated nicely. Most importantly though the food is excellent. I tried the avocado shake out of curiosity and it's now a favorite, very creamy and perfect sweetness. The chicken pho is my usual and it's heartwarming, healing, and everything you could want on a rainy day. I usually take it to go and they give you all the toppings and sauce packets too!

Have driven by many times, dropped in today for lunch. The small waiting area has the pleasant smell of incense to welcome you in. Restaurant is very homey, run by an elderly couple. The beef pho was solid, price in line with others. How to earn 5 stars: more basil/bean sprouts garnishes, better broth:noodles ratio (less broth)

Called in a to go order- food was ready in 10 minutes. Both bowls of pho and spring rolls were delicious.

I'm in town for a long weekend and we were in the mood for some pho and this place was open a little later than the other pho places in the area. We ordered A1. Four Piece Spring Rolls. They came out hot enough to eat but not burn your mouth and were super tasty. They didn't serve it with lettuce like we're used to, but it did come with the nuoc cham sauce. They weren't super greasy either. We also each ordered NS1. Beef Pho with steak. The broth is a bit sweeter than I prefer, but it was good. It's not the best pho I've ever had but it's nowhere near the worst either. The waiter was friendly and attentive. Thank you for the hospitality and your warm, comforting food!

This place is a hidden gem and it's family run. Came with friends Friday evening after discovering this place from a magazine (it's one of the oldest pho restaurants in Vancouver). My friends ordered the vermicelli bowls and bun bo hue, I ordered beef pho (the one where you can add the meat in at the table), and my partner ordered vegetarian pho. There was this moment of silence because everyone was so busy devouring their food because we all found it so delicious. And the owner was so nice and accommodating and always came around to check in on us. We all moved from California so we know what good pho and Vietnamese food tastes like and this passes the bar. And we'll definitely be back, especially since we hear they can make their bun bo hue vegetarian.

I feel terrible writing this review but the charbroiled pork I got was inedible. It honestly could have been dog food. We had to throw it away. Everything my husband got was fine but steer clear of the charbroiled pork bun thit nuong.

We passed by this place while we were in town and decided to give it a try. Overall I was pretty happy with what I ordered and felt it was fairly priced. Staff was friendly and there are vegan options available. It's a very casual sit down restaurant. I would try it again if I was in the area.

If I could give zero stars I would. This establishment is very blatant with their racism. My boyfriend (who is black) came in tonight to pick up an online order, and while he was waiting in line he was behind a white man thqt received the upmost respect and amenities from the woman at the window. She was very friendly with him, wished him a happy new year and proceeded to give him free food and I quote "here is some free food for you happy new year". When it was his turn she wasn't friendly and definitely didn't offer me anything for the new year. Not saying it's a must, but if you're jolly with one customer then you should be that way with all of your customers who are supporting. If you are brown or black do NOT shop with this place. I was very upset and quite disgusted and wanted to return the food. That was NOT ok.

Moved away from Vancouver 8 years ago, Pho Hong Phat was a favorite restaurant of mine. Returned to Vancouver temporarily, so I had to stop and get Beef Pho to go. This meal was just as fantastic as it ever was. Still a favorite!! Anytime that I return to Vancouver, I'm sure that I will return to Pho Hong Phat for this wonderful meal. The restaurant is small, but the menu is mighty !!!! The service has always been great ! Don M.

My girlfriend has been going here since she was a child and I'm so glad she showed me it. The staff is amazing and SO nice and the food comes out super quick and is tasty as ever. Super affordable and really good quality. I will be coming back to try more and more things off the menu!!!

We came back to this place after not eating here in over 4 years. Not because it wasn't good, it was because we found pho closer to where we lived at the time. First off, we were greeted with big smiles. We were seated quickly. And the staff was so nice. There were three of us. I ordered the beef broccoli, my fiancé ordered Mongolian beef, and my best friend ordered the pho. To say we were happy about how the food tasted is an understatement. It was really good. They aren't open on Wednesday's though. So you all know.

Went to Pho Hong Phat twice during my stay in Washington from California. I can safely say that this was the best Pho I've ever had (which is surprising, as I frequently eat pho haha) The staff are super sweet, very nice, and the food comes out wonderful. The ambiance is very nice, no loud music and very calming. I suuuuper recommend if you're in the area!!

had a late night Vietnamese craving that sadly wasn't satisfied... Fried chicken wings were an absolute disgrace. The wings were so small and hard, but yet undercooked at the same time.... They are supposed to be fish sauce wings, but it didn't taste like that at all which is disappointing. I even looked up reviews about this place before I ordered and everything seemed great and the wings looked great but didn't come that way at all. I also got the Goi Ga, which was actually pretty ok. The fish sauce used for this was actually pretty underwhelming which is not what I usually find.... I had to grab some of my homemade fish sauce to make it taste better. It tasted pretty watered down... Also if you order this through delivery like I did, the container they put this in needs to be rethought because it spilled all over the bag, and was a mess everywhere. I also got the crab puffs and a side order of rice. The rice was so dry and tasted pretty old. The crab puffs were mostly just cream cheese, and then the sauce they give you with it was pretty watered down, added no flavor at all, and had the consistency of water... Lastly I got the salad rolls, which I actually did not eat because just looking at it, you could tell this salad roll was old. The vegetables inside were noticeably a different color, like when lettuce gets old.. So I just tossed those in the trash... All in all, I spent $64, and It was definitely NOT worth it.

I love this place. If you like pho, you need to try this place out. The beef broth is the best in the county! The service is outstanding. I try to swing by at least once a week. It pays to call ahead because sometimes they are closed during their posted business hours.

Great spot that I came to before Covid. Glad to see that it's still open & has indoor seating. Excellent authentic Pho with many choices including Vegan. Family run place with nice owner. Basic indoor seating. Egg Noodles w/ Pork Broth is what I had. So flavorful, complex & nourishing. Also had Phuc Long hot tea that completed it perfect. Perfect lunch after long bike ride.

Smallest wings ever. Soggy onions. Tasted good though, but definitely not as good as other places in town. I've been trying out various Vietnamese wings and this place by far is the worst. The soups are pretty good, but these wings are so small they are insulting. For that alone I won't be coming back for other items when other restaurants are all around better.

As a note, we ordered this via GrubHub due to ongoing Covid-19 pandemic issues. This was the first time either of us had had food from this establishment. We both ordered an appetizer, I ordered salad rolls and my partner ordered spring rolls. My partner also ordered a bahn mi with chicken and I ordered the beef pho with meatballs, tendon, tripe, brisket, and thinly sliced beef. The door arrived piping hot, which was my first surprise. The beef pho broth was still very hot and all of the veggies and sides for pho were included in a separate container. The pho broth had a nice fatty quality, and I appreciated the tripe being well prepared. The only unfortunate aspect was the tendon was not cooked through so some aspects were hard and rubbery. But I imagine having it fresh in house would have made that not an issue...its never been an issue with pho in the past. The salad rolls were fresh, with the rice paper not too sticky. My fellas spring rolls were hot and crispy, and his bahn mi still with nice crusty bread. I really want to visit this place once quarantine is over. It may sound really silly to read in a review, but after so long of my own cooking and pizza and all of that kind of delivery food, this was really the comfort food that made my day better. Pho has always been a special thing...it's what I crave when I don't feel well or am sad. Ive had many important life events celebrated over bowls of it. and while I don't think delivery through GrubHub is exactly the best way to experience a restaurants cuisine, this really did the trick. Normally I post photos with all of my reviews, but I didn't think it's fair given the fact that it was delivery through another service. I look forward to eating their food again, either through delivery, or hopefully in person :-)

Fried crab puff with hair. Yummy. Lo mein noodles tasted old and were dry, orange chicken was overcooked and hard. Spring rolls were good but that was the only thing. From out of town and was hoping to have found a gem. But, no.

We had their food delivered to our work and Omgosh. The food is AMAZING! They use quality ingredients in every entree. It's obvious they really care about each item they make and it shows in the deliciousness we get to enjoy as customers! We ordered a Bah mi and it was the BEST chicken Bah Mi I've ever had... like ever. In fact I wish I had another. Right. Now. We also had a chicken Phó that was out of this world! All white chicken and the broth is absolutely amazing! I cannot wait to enjoy their food again!

Delicious savory broth for the pho! Everything tasted so fresh and came out quickly and piping hot. The place is a cute little authentic pho house and the staff was very friendly! I had been going somewhere further from where I live but am so glad I gave this place a try. I've now found my go-to! Can't wait to go back!

Just ordered some pho and potstickers off Uber eats. I have ordered from here before but this time I am disappointed. When ordering pho you usually get a side with vegetables such as mint, lime, and jalapeños. I got none of this. Just a couple slices of onion drenched in raw meat sauce. Also, with the pot stickers there was no sauce. Not even soy sauce. Not sure if they forgot but a bit disappointed since they charge a service fee which they can't get right. Boo

This was the first time my husband and I ever went to this restaurant. We recently moved to the area and seen a video on local restaurants, so we decided to try out something completely different. The food was absolutely delicious! Great flavor, portions were large and very affordable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very laid back atmosphere and friendly.

Ordered delivery during the COVID pandemic era, for future reference. Ordered the Vermicelli bowl, egg noodles stir fry, and the Singapore curry noodles. The order was good, had some issues with grub hub not allowing me to input apartment number, and called grub hub support to update them, which they said they did but still I got a call and text later on, driver upset because he was waiting outside for me (he had texted me and I let 6 minutes pass without looking at phone. Not restaurant or anybody's fault, just something that happened with this order. All the noodles were good, except the Vermicelli noodles themselves. I know it's cold noodles, but you could tell these were old. They were formed into a shape (like they were put in a bag over night) and though I know this is sometimes a technique to chill the noodles, the noodles were not cooked all the way, and a good portion of the noodles were extremely hard and inedible. I do understand about the times, and trying to save money as a small business, but for $13 a plate and the noodles are old AF and the lettuce is yellow, turning brown almost. It leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, probably won't order from here for a while and try other places before giving them a shot, but it did taste good, so if you're reading this, maybe my order was a fluke. idk.

Outside may not look like much in this ghetto neighborhood but the service is great and the amount of food is delightful. I always get the pho with everything in it and it always comes with generous amounts of meat and hot soup. I like places that also gives you a nice big plate of sprouts and veggies. I even drink all the broth soup here because it just keeps you warm and makes you feel giddy. The food comes out fairly quick so you can tame your hunger pho sure. What disappointed me though was the salad roll. It was pretty basic and did not impress. The peanut sauce was actually yummy and it was served on a nice dish. Had to really submerge the roll into the sauce to make the roll taste better. Seating is spacious and the interior has improved over time. Service is friendly and they try to be there for you. Overall for the pho and some food this is a great place to eat.

The interior is pretty ghetto as well as the exterior actually. But the food is good I get the beef pho. I don't think you can really go wrong with it I like to use extra lime inside of my pho. This is the best on cold winter days. Other than that I really don't trust anything else on the menu.

Superb service. Genuinely super-friendly, warm people. Food is terrific but choose carefully if you want bargains - there are some. Was leaving Portland on my way back to Tacoma, Washington and needed some pho "hangover cure 101" so read some reviews decided to pop in myself ... and wow got a steak pho and some jasmine rice, the broth was good. The service was great if I'm ever in the area I'll be coming back that's forsure.

Best food and service I have had in a long time. There is a fantastic wide variety to choose from on the menu. Everyone at our table was giddy with pleasure at how good our food was. In addition to flavor beyond expectations, the food came out shockingly fast. 100% recommend and we will be back.

Pick up my daughter in Vancouver, she was hungry so we decide to go eat at this restaurant. Apparently mom and pop owned. We decide to have sesame and general Tso's chicken it was delicious. Definitely coming back!

Our first time we walked in, I was surprised!! I came here before and I wasn't very pleased. So I looked up places to eat and saw that it's got new owner, so I wanted to check it out. I knew it was a good choice to come back! Awesome customer service !! Everytime we come here, their food is always awesome!

SO GOOD. Ordered pho tai nam. Pho broth is perfect, noodles were cooked correctly, they leave their coriander intact with stems which makes it easy to remove if you don't like it instead of trying to pick bits out. The flank was beautifully flavorful and well seasoned and looked like they chop it in house - and the portion of meat was a very generous helping. The woman at the counter was friendly and kind. We will definitely order again!

I was dying for a banh mi sandwich-- So, I ordered two via Grub Hub for my family, along with some vegetarian rice. When my food was delivered, we only received one banh mi from my GH. I called Hong Phat. Their manager acknowledged they had only saw the one ordered, apologized, and offered to make a second sandwich, and bring it to me himself OR give a credit for my order. I accepted his offer to bring the food. I was dying, remember?! When he showed up, he also brought an order of crab puffs on the house, and apologized again. Their customer service is superb. I appreciate the effort their staff made to rectify their mistakes. For this reason, I will order from them again in the future, and recommend to my friends. PS-Yummy food!

Great food & good service! Very friendly to our family & even though it was pretty busy for a Monday night, they made us feel at home. Prices were average to other restaurants but portions were good size.

The best pho and crab Rangoon's think I have EVER had. My bf was a ramen person before this and after coming here he is a pho person. So authentic and the broth was just INCREDIBLE.

Amazing!!! SUCH good customer service, clean, variety of choices, and yummy food! Theyve improved exponentially since they have opened! I wont go anywhere else! I am especially grateful for their having brisket and fish oil, as well as the spicy oil. And fresh coconut water in a coconut! Oh and cucumber water mmmm

Their vegan pho with tofu and vegetables is very satisfying and tasty. The broth is rich and flavorful, yet cleansing. I also recommend their vegetarian salad rolls and/or spring rolls, along with a pot of jasmine tea.
