I had a bad feeling when I walked in, ordered a banh mi to go, and Thai tea. The latter tasted like tap water with extra sugar and the sandwich... What can I when say. By far, one of the worst sandwiches I've ever seen. So bad, that I took one bite and threw the rest away. They hook it up but it's nothing I want to eat. They may need to stick to the pho only

I dined in for dinner. Wanted to keep it light so ordered pho, the vegetable and tofu kind. If I sum it up, stick to pho at traditional Vietnamese places. This is a Korean food place and their broths are typical Korean soup broths. Vietnamese pho is so fragrant. This one is just pure salt water. No spices, flavoring etc. I'm sorry if I disagree with other posts, but this restaurant DOES NOT KNOW pho. The accomplishments are a small handful of bean sprouts, 4 sprigs of cilantro (should have removed the yellow and brown leaves) and 2 wedges of lime. No basil, no jalapenos, zero flavor. I needed to eat before an hr long drive so ate it and promised myself I'll never do this mistake again.

Delicious, has one of the best Pho broths I’ve had. The spring and beef rolls were also amazing, and I love ordering out when I need to decongest my sinuses.

If there was a review for 0 I would give it that. I’ve come here 5 times before. Never have I ever experienced such rude and nasty behavior and food. It was so thick like spaghetti. When I asked if there’s anything they can do for me weather give me a better soup or a refund for that soup the lady reached over me grabbed my card from me (I wasn’t even ready to leave nor handed it to her she snatched it from across the table) she charged me and when I tried getting my card back to go sit down and finish my appetizer she wouldn’t give me my card until I signed the receipt (I always sign and tip at the end) she kept my card from me after charging me and then called her son he told her to refund me and re charge without that soup and then proceed to be so rude. Throwing my card and receipt at me when I tried grabbing it she then snatched it from me AGAIN and that’s when I lost it. I should’ve called the cops but I don’t live around the area I’m very disappointed and if she’s the only worker there I suggest you guys find someone else who can accommodate and fully understand their behavior. I’m disgusted I will never go back and Im making sure everyone knows my last experience there.Wish I can post the videos but sadly I can’t (To your reply ! - if you had voice on your video you’d actually know I asked for 1 to go because it was that nasty I couldn’t eat it. I’m not a person who usually tells people what’s going on but I realized it was not worth $16. If u also see the footage you can see I put napkins in the soup and when I took it out it was so gooey I also left it on the table the napkin picked up all the gooey “soup” which is why it’s that much goo left. The noodles right away were mushy and my boyfriends wasn’t . I’ve also already read so many reviews of people saying the same thing about your mother so stop being so biased and start understanding wrong from right (as the customer always is) if you’re running a business and make a change. Also she just brought the check no one asked for it. My boyfriend wasn’t even half way done. I have a video of everything that happened as soon as she reached over me for my card. You can watch it on YouTube actually I will be posting it since you do not agree with me @taystee444 ! I also did not “demand” a refund. I politely asked “I didn’t like my soup it’s never been like this is there anything that can be done? She sucked her teeth and reached over me and grabbed my card walked quickly to charge it. (I’m Mexican. I do have money and I always pay and leave tips so for her to think I was gonna run off or not pay for everything was crazy ) U clearly do not have any voice footage I understand it’s your family but make something happen sir. As for the second time she took my card from me. “she grabbed the receipt I signed and not my card or my receipt” no actually i HAVE IT ON VIDEOOO when I was grabbing my receipt and card after she finally gave it back she snatched it back from me thinking i was going to grab the other one ? she had already charged me twice at this point. it wasn’t a problem of money it’s about the respect. something that’s needs to be taught and learned. Especially when owning a business Wish you the best as well

Google
This was our second choice for Pho after finding the neighboring restaurant had a one-hour wait. Despite being touted as the first Pho establishment in the area, there are now three Pho restaurants at the intersection, indicating fierce competition. The ambiance, decor, service (handled by a single person), and the flavor of the Pho were somewhat mediocre. Although the prices were not low, the overall quality of the meal did not meet our expectations. I opted for something different this time: the ox tail Pho, which was marketed as a premium option, but unfortunately, the taste did not match the premium price.

1/29/2025 = 5 Star = Add another star , will keep coming back . 10/21/2021 = 4 Star = Add 1 star coz people are nice , but nothing change or nothing new that i notice. 1/9/2021 = 3 star = not enough meat for large bowl. Not big fan of metal bowl . 8/17/19 = 4 star = i still give 4 star coz still good food , but no more free thai tea ;-( and no jalapeno too. 2018 = 4 star = Price ok but not cheap and not too expensive, they have free thai ice tea and they forgot to give us until we ask for it. Food is really good but not plenty of meat when I order regular size , but its okey , my next visit I tried the large and I thought that it will be more meat but looks the same meat content , but more noodles and soup. My mom love this place coz of the seafood pho , my aunt love this place coz of their spicy pho .

I stopped by on Friday for a quick pho fix and ordered the Pho Filet Mignon and the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl. As a Vietnamese person, this isn’t the best pho I’ve ever had, but it definitely hit the spot and satisfied my craving. What really stood out was the service. The sweet and attentive server made me feel so welcome, almost like a motherly figure who could tell it was my first time there. As someone who used to work in the restaurant industry as a server, I really admire how she juggled all the tables on her own during a busy rush. It’s clear she genuinely cares about each diner, even under pressure. That’s why I encourage fellow customers to show empathy and patience. Great service like hers deserves appreciation. If you're in the Buena Park area and need a comforting bowl of pho, this spot is worth a visit!

Cody L.

Google
Best pho ever!! The service is amazing!! It does get busy at times. But be patient! It’s worth it!

Yelp
Amazing food and service. I went last night and ordered to go. I ordered kimchi fried rice, vermicelli with beef and shrimp, and their appetizer trio. All of it was so good. The kimchi fried rice was flavorful without being spicy, the vermicelli bowl had very generous servings of everything, and everything in the appetizer trio was delicious. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The owner was friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking out front. I'm so glad we tried it, definitely will become one of our go tos!

Yelp
정말 맛있게 먹고 갑니다 감사합니다!! Food was filling and flavorful, the server was so sweet. She made me feel like I was in Korea. The ambiance is chill, I think a perfect spot if u need a quick recovery pho after a night out hehe

Yelp
Unique Korean Pho noodles and items we ordered were tasty. The lady who owns this place and served us was friendly. We are not in Buena Park area, but when we pass by we always come to this place. Yummy food, quality ingredients and I hope they will do good in the business.
google avatar

Julia L.

Yelp
It was my first time here, came around 8pm on a weekday. It wasn't busy at all and wasn't greeted right away to have chosen our own seats/booth. I got the Brisket Large Pho, it's a lot of noodles and not enough meat. The flavor wasn't strong as ik and like my pho; again it's like a Korean spin to Pho. It's outdated inside and the bathrooms have gnats flying. But I'm okay with being able to try this place out. Their egg rolls were good.
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
The pho is great! Great flavors!! Each tables comes with the chili sauce and the hoison sauce to make to your likings! Only negative is the little amount of limes, cilantro and bean sprouts What's did we order? -1 plain pho (small) -1 veggie pho (large) -1 order of egg rolls (10/10) Both were great but order the small bc the size difference is very minimal. Free hot tea at the self serve station! The atmosphere is a typical Vietnamese restaurant.. no frills kind of place There really isn't a grade for service! Since the woman was really just order taker! No interaction! Also you get up to pay! We learned the hard way and waited and waited! Overall, we will return!
google avatar

Christine Yuna H.

Yelp
The pho broth is not the strongest at this place. I would say it's a decent pho if you're hungry and don't want to wait in a long line. It was pretty empty when I went there. Service is good and the place is pretty clean. You can get self service hot tea.
google avatar

Yelp
Yesterday marked the start of Lent for us Catholics. While visiting the town of Buena Park, my wife and I stumbled upon a little restaurant called Pho House. The service was fast, and the food was delicious. I mostly stuck with seafood when ordering. I didn't take many pictures, but the one I did take of this seafood pho already makes me want to go back. Hopefully, we can visit again soon--the fish cake, clams, and shrimp perfectly satisfied my seafood craving. Nice atmosphere as well if your in the area git it a try.

Yelp
This is not Vietnamese food. I saw the stars and blindly trusted the rating without reading the reviews because it was late, and I needed to feed the kids before everything closed. It's nice that the restaurant closes late. I should've figured it out when I saw the pictures in Korean, but I thought they did that because we were in a huge Korean community. The other nice thing is that the kid's pho is really inexpensive: $3.99 for a bowl of pho noodles and clear broth, which didn't have a strong flavor. The oxtail pho had a lot of bone chips and the toppings were sparse, especially for how expensive it was. I thought they were clever by naming bun rieu Vietnamese champong, but it was actually more like dukbokki with pho noodles. It did have a lot of toppings and noodles, though. They also featured other dishes like naengmyun pho. I don't think I would've been so disappointed if it was more apparent that this wasn't traditional Vietnamese cuisine. And I was a bit upset when the kids looked up at the TV only to see a scene of two men violently trying to strangle each other. Thankfully, I was close enough to quickly cover their eyes.
google avatar

Brianne N.

Yelp
Pretty good pho. Not the best I've ever had. The noodles were pretty underdone or just kind of bad tasting... portions were pretty decent. Service was fine. I wouldn't go back. They did have some interesting options though. A Korean pho place. Unique for sure.
google avatar

Brian M.

Yelp
Very friendly staff members. Also their pho broth was just right. I enjoyed ordering just the broth by itself. It was perfect for cold weather. I also enjoyed ordering half order of their spring rolls. Just the right size if you don't want to eat a lot. Their self serve hot tea bar is also a nice touch. The restaurant itself is not that big so it's not too cluttered. People that were on the restaurant the day we came in seem to know each other. Which is good, means lots of repeat customers. This place is located in a small plaza next to Zion market. Lots of parking and other establishments to walk around after. I'd come back for sure.
google avatar

Betty V.

Yelp
This place is your average Korean owned pho place. They make decent pho. The service isn't anything special; you order food and they bring it to you and don't come back until you are done. Nothing extra or exciting. I appreciate that this place opens late, so I was able to grab a bite when I was hungry. I ordered pho and shrimp rockets. The pho was fine and the shrimp was good. I was satisfied. They provided me with what I needed. I ate and then I left. End of story.

Yelp
Came here Sunday evening, place was pretty empty maybe one booth taken up. We were sat down quickly and our food came out quickly as well however the food to me personally the pho was lacking flavor. It was a good size overall and the spring rolls were good. I really wanted to like this place but it was ok.

Jessica Y.

Yelp
We see Auntie Anna *every week* for Sunday pho! (We love you, Anna Emmoneem!) The restaurant is clean and the food is always delicious! Our staples are beef belly pho, bbq pork banh mi, the sampler appetizer with fresh spring rolls, fried egg rolls, and shrimp rockets, and the cold beef broth noodles

Yelp
tl,dr: mediocre but sufficient. Likes: + Despite the place not being Vietnamese-owned, the Vietnamese food is pretty good. + Restroom has paper towels. Non-likes: - Not authentic phở. Doesn't have the right veggies. It's missing the rau quế (Thai basil) and ngò gai (sawtooth coriander). - The staff don't speak Vietnamese. If you're a recent migrant who hasn't learned English yet, hopefully you can speak Korean. - The staff don't really check up on you. They forget you unless you flag 'em down. - Slow service. Food took 10-15 min to come out. - Since it's not really phở, maybe their restaurant and food should've just been called "Rice Noodle House". - Only one restroom. - Moderately crowded, limited parking. No wonder this restaurant has low rating. That evening, nearby phở restaurants were PACKED.

Tom P.

Yelp
The food was amazing. Came out quickly and everything was fresh. We ordered the oxtail pho and the beef rib pho, I would recommend both
google avatar

Elba M.

Yelp
This is our GO TO spot! Pho broth is always on point and service is wonderful. Recommend the spring rolls :)

Yelp
Was craving Pho. Decided to try this place and it was delicious. The Pho was tasty and it's very affordable. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Local spot. Good fresh taste and quality. Great service and price. The place now owned by new owner not same cook back in the day but still good. Place don't have traffic as before but good place to chill. I like the service

Esther L.

Yelp
I got hooked to this place after I stopped by to get some spring rolls, which were the best I've tasted by far! Since then our whole family eats take out from here for everything from the vermicelli salads, pho, to the fried rice, and of course, the spring rolls. The lady who runs the restaurant is really friendly and attentive, and I always see a lot of regulars at the place, which I count myself as one now.

Cody L.

Yelp
Best pho ever!! The service is amazing!! It does get busy at times. But be patient! It's worth it!
google avatar

Joyce D.

Yelp
A plus for them since they're open pretty late. The portion sizes are relatively generous for the price. The regular bowls of pho cost around $13-15. It takes a while for the food to come out. The unfortunate part is that the soup broth itself is really salty. We tried both pho and sullungtang. Both were very salty. It lacked the depth of flavor you're expecting.
google avatar

Siraguen M.

Yelp
This is restaurant is not bad. Some items in the menu are really good but the one thing they serve which is the Pho soup was not good at all. The soup was tasteless. I've tasted better Pho. However, the Vietnamese sandwich and the shrimp spring rolls were delicious. I definitely recommend them. If I come back, I would definitely come back for only those two items. I wouldn't come back for Pho soup here. Sorry, the Pho Soup wasn't good.
google avatar

Esther K.

Yelp
Not the service but the pho. The service here is good but respectfully will not come back for the pho. It has a weird aftertaste with the broth - not a clean broth taste like you would find at a quality pho place. Comes with all the regular toppings. I also noticed the Thai tea came in this soft drink Dr Pepper cup.
google avatar

Gladys N.

Yelp
Great quality of meat and largely portioned. Beef spring rolls were delicious! Just left from my lunch break today and though it was a little drive, it was definitely worth it in my opinion. I enjoyed that the broth wasn't as minty and many other pho places I have tried in the past. My favorite appetizer were the beef spring rolls.

Rosie L.

Yelp
The female owner was so terrible. She was rude. I don't want to go this restaurant again. bad service!!
google avatar

Mary A.

Yelp
I'd say the only good thing about this restaurant is that it's open late. Other than that I did not like the place. Service was horrible. It was not busy whatsoever. There was not many people for them to be so ignorant. It was just us then another party came in. However somehow that table kept getting served and they attended them very well. Unfortunately I feel it was because they were also Korean like the employees. We had to keep getting up to ask for everything because no one was checking on us and they were rude when we asked for forks or extra plates.
google avatar

Eddie C.

Yelp
This was my first time trying pho and I think I came to the right place. It was pretty empty on a Saturday night but that's perfect for me. I got the short rib pho and it was delicious. Also got the spring rolls and they too were very good. I look forward to coming back here again.
google avatar

Jaime C.

Yelp
I have gone here for lunch several times and it's always been good. The food comes out fast and taste great I always get the rare beef and brisket. I have also tried the seafood one and the meatballs pho along with the kimchi seafood. Price is fair food quality is good service is quick and friendly. I usually go during lunch and it's pretty chill.
google avatar

Phally L.

Yelp
Unfortunately, this is not authentic pho. It is Korean own so there is no depth to the flavor. Service was minimal. The restaurant is very old and outdated. I don't recommend if you're looking for authentic pho.
google avatar

Sarah A.

Yelp
I know the ownership has not changed but it seems as if the quality has dropped off a bit. We used to pick up from here, since we live down the street. They used to keep the beef rare on the side but now they put it in while packing so it's not very tender when it gets home. The broth also doesn't seem as fresh anymore. Not worth it when you can get Sup right across the street.
google avatar

Henry C.

Yelp
Great food. Large portions. Vermicelli Noodle Salad was delicious! Service is prompt. The place is clean and well air conditioner.
google avatar

Nikkos C.

Yelp
It's okay. Pho was sort of salty. Couldn't really taste the flavor of beef. The Vietnamese sandwich was so so and so was the lemongrass chicken rice plate. The rice on the plate was tough. Came here due to close proximity to hotel. Wouldn't be my first choice.

Minna H.

Yelp
Ordered a pho and side of tendon for my son and they charged me $11.99 just for the side of tendon. They said it's imported and other restaurants serve fake tendon. Absolutely robbery and a joke.
google avatar

P A.

Yelp
A decent amount of food at a good price. The vermicelli bowl was not exactly authentic as a place in Little Saigon but it was good and plentiful. While a serving of spring rolls had only two on the plate, it was like the chef was rolling "fatties"! They were the fattest spring rolls I had ever seen.

Mario A.

Yelp
Went here on a Friday night after 9pm and came across this place after going to the La Mirada night swap meet. Place is big and very spacious with a lot of booths and tables. The lady that helped us was so nice and very attentive. But the pho takes the cake, delicious broth and the large bowl is only 1-2 dollars more and very worth it! Will definitely be coming back!

Mr W.

Yelp
This place, when first opened, food was great. That was over 10 years ago. This one old lady staff - rude AF.
google avatar

Tony K.

Yelp
Wow, I don't think I've ever eaten anything this salty. I ordered the vegetable pho, because most places use vegetable broth. However, this place used beef broth for all their dishes including the vegetarian pho. That's okay, because I was told in advance. However, what's not okay is just oh shockingly salty the food was. I know pho is a pretty salty food in general, but there are levels of saltiness that are acceptable. I was only able to eat a few bites and I couldn't touch it after that. We went at 5:45 on a Sunday and the place was completely empty. Now I know why it was empty on a Sunday evening. The guy who works there is friendly enough and does his job properly. I have no issues with him, but the food wow, totally different story!
google avatar

Robin I.

Yelp
I would categorize this as Korean pho. What I like about Korean 'pho' is because the broth is usually not as oily and tastes cleaner. The meat used here was tasty and the texture was pretty soft. The portion was an ok size and they were generous with the onions and sprouts. Service here is pretty standard and it was a pretty relaxing atmosphere as there were not many people around. This is a good option for pho in the area.
google avatar

Arely G.

Yelp
This pho restaurant is my favorite to go whenever I am craving pho. very good service and environment.

Victor L.

Yelp
Simply amazing. Best pho hands down. I find it hard to find a place that offers oxtail pho. Let alone a place that makes it perfect, well I found it!! Just recently had short rib pho it was amazing as well.
google avatar

Jeesoun S.

Yelp
This place is the best Pho house. The broth is so good and they give lots of rice noodles, bean sprouts, and the sliced onions. My hubby and I all finished. The small bowl is like a big bowl. We had two rare steak phos today. Happy and yummy day!!!
google avatar

Allycia F.

Yelp
This is our go to place for Pho. The portions are large. Service is fast, and the food is delicious. We always get the 2PA (rare steak and brisket), crispy egg rolls, and on occasion, the fried rice. All very good for a solid price. I see they have a lot of unique options like Chilled pho, which I have yet to try, but I can say their pho broth and pho is great! Atmosphere is relaxed and ample parking right out front.
google avatar

Grace Y.

Yelp
Came here because the lot across the street was busy. Ordered a combination pho. The pho itself was OK, I would give three stars. Broth wasn't super flavorful so I ended up using a ton of hoison sauce. Pho itself is 3 stars. We got shrimp rockets just because we were curious. 2 stars. Service is also 2 stars. They forgot our order and didn't care to apologize. They even messed up our order on the second run. Good thing we weren't in a rush to get anywhere since the wait took forever. Parking was easy, but good enough that I would come back here again.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I came here craving pho and noticed that it was a Korean fusion pho! Which was automatic a win and I was excited for it. At first I thought that it was little over priced for pho but actually the serving sizes were huge! The bowls for the large was overwhelming but it was soooo good. I ordered something off the menu and it was their new pho bulgogi. I honestly love bulgogi so I had to get it! As I mentioned that the serving size was huge they gave plenty of meat in the soup! The soup base was really tasty and they did it right. The only tip I would give is the portion size for the noodles. Also if they would boil the noodles before putting it in the soup that would make it more enjoyable. Overall it was good, mainly cause I love bulgogi and there was plenty of meat.
google avatar

Crissy P.

Yelp
We just moved from Cerritos to La Mirada tried this pho house but I am so disgusted not the real pho that I am longing. it's not a genuine vietnamese pho there's a combination of korean and vietnamese. which came out not good. no wonder why there's only 1 person inside when I ordered. I am not coming back in here sorry. I wasted money today.
google avatar

Alexa R.

Yelp
Solid pho place, prices are very reasonable. The pho broth is so good and their portion size is huge. Egg rolls were crispy and fresh. My favorite dish here is definitely the kimchi fried rice! There are times I crave this specific fried rice because the one they serve is one of my favorites. Service is great, there is always someone standing by the host desk to help.
google avatar

Ruben V.

Yelp
Gave this place another shot and they messed up my order and didn't care to fix the situation. Won't be coming here again
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
The kimchi seafood pho was different, it was more like kimchi soup with a hint of pho flavor. It definitely has a kick. I think it would be good when you are sick and need some soup. The calamari was pretty tasty and they didn't skimp out on the squid. The portions are huge here, will be back to try other dishes.
