Pho Huong Lan

Brad “Bread” L.

Google
Got the Pho Dac Biet. What can I say, they have some really good pho here. They have more condiments than other pho places like pickled garlic, pickled peppers, Chin Su 👀, Chili Oil, your typical Hoison and Sriracha. Veggies are plentiful and enhance the flavor of the pho broth. I can see why it's rated so highly.

Google
One of the best phos I’ve had! Friendly and quick service. I ordered the beef pho and the Vietnamese coffee. Highly recommended and will be back soon!

Google
Pho Huong Lan is one of the best Authentic Vietnamese Noodles House in Orlando, specializing in flavorful tasty Pho and Bun Bo Hue with enormous portions as well as other delicious Vietnamese desserts such as sugar cane juice, flan cake, Che Thailand, milk tea….especially, free purified water! Staff are very friendly, quick service. Prices are very reasonable! Our family would like to give 5 stars for Pho Huong Lan. 5600 W Colonial Dr Unit 316 Orlando, FL 32808 United States

Please note that there is a 3% surcharge for credit card payment. All the components of their pho (broth, noodles, meat and vegetables) were fresh and flavorful. The interior, which resembles a karaoke lounge, could be improved.

This is the true flavor of pho! The broth is so rich and fresh, and the service makes you feel at home. Highly recommend!

Google
Service was quick. There is an outside seating area for those with pets. Pho is pretty good. 8/10. The medium size was enough for me. My dad opted for the large. My mom rates the bun bo hue 6/10. Vietnamese ice coffee was good. I grew up on the cafe du monde and have had really coffee while visiting Vietnam. I’d rate this 7.5/10. I wished for that price they give like a quarter more. Perhaps they forgot about our coffee order because I was already done with my food by the time it arrived. We had to remind them and the coffee came out promptly after that. The sugarcane kumquat wasn’t sour enough. I’ve had it better another place around the corner but they unfortunately closed. To access the restroom you need to ask an employee for the key. The restroom was without AC nor hand soap. Luckily I had some portable paper soap. I don’t know whose responsibility it is to manage the restroom though because there are other businesses in the area. According to another guest, the largest stall is not handicap friendly.

Google
Hands down the best pho I have ever had in my life and this is my food of year. Came here two days in a roll despite the 1 hour drive. To start, pho broth was super flavorful and rich, definitely top notch - beautiful blend of flavor of beef and other condiments. A unique feature here was the richness of herbs: higher variety and quantity than any Pho restaurants I have been to, which really added another layer of freshness and flavor. I also liked the generous amount of finely chopped green onions and cilantros on top of other herbs, which even brought out more flavor of the pho broth. I was just overwhelmed by the divine combination of flavors - in a good way. And the meat, what a delight! I love love the beef tongue, which was also surprisingly cheap. Beef rib, tendon, tripe and meatballs were also top notch and generous portion. Only thing I am not a fan was the rare flanks. This place also had great drinks: fresh squeezed sugar cane juice with tropical fruit add on (I love passion fruit). Where else can you find these natural authentic drinks not those flavored sugary ones? And what can beat these drinks when pairing with pho on a hot humid Orlando day? So authentic, so perfect and so satisfying. Please open forever so I can always taste this great pho every time I visit Orlando.

Google
The freshest and best Pho I’ve ever had in Orlando!! They are generous with their portions and have a good energy. Our pho came with the meat that was used for making the broth as well and that was really nice, you can tell they are making it fresh. Our server was very nice she had a baby and we loved how she was also taking care of her baby. We will def be back and try out their other dishes. Good luck!! And thank you for the experience!

Yelp
I ordered pho and egg rolls from this place on a Saturday night. The food came quickly and was well packaged to preserve freshness. The egg rolls were amazing! The pho was also very good and came with an abundance of veggies and noodles, so it last for 2 meals! Would love to try these dishes again IN the restaurant.

Yelp
This was our last meal in Orlando before we drove back down to SoFlo, where we don't have good ass pho. It was my first visit and very impressed. The broth has the right amount of salt, msg, crack, whatever else in it and the noodles were made in house and it was al dente (only way I can describe it)... but gimme 14 of them! Service was good and they actually check up on you unlike a lot of Viet places, which I still don't get why. Parking is a bit tricky cuz it's one way and you gota back that car ass all the way out to the street to exit. Def recommend and can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
One of my favorite pho restaurants! This is a very small family owned spot with exceptional pho. Although the restaurant is small, in need of a little TLC, and cluttered (pay no attention to the cases of bottled water and boxes of supplies on the sides), the food and service are top notch! Service is always fantastic and prompt. They have always been busy during my visits, so sharing a table has been the norm -- they do ask if it's okay with you; and ask the other people at the table if they don't mind. Chopsticks, spoons, sauces and soup accompaniments (pickled garlic and jalapeños) are on the table -- highly recommend the pickled garlic. Bottled water is complimentary, as well. Their Phö Tái Bò Vién (menu item P3) is my favorite. I love the convenience of ordering their dishes by size, depending how hungry I am. I always recommend this spot whenever I'm asked for pho recommendations.

Yelp
Ordered delivery and was pretty pleased from what I ordered. The summer rolls was 2 big sizes with the peanut sauce. Perfect amount of each ingredients inside. I added the pho tai gau gam that had filet mignon steak, fatty beef brisket and tendon. A good amount of each meat. The broth was rich in flavor. Definitely one of my new places to order pho from.

Yelp
My fav Bun Bo Hue in the State of Florida. We dine in weekly to get my BBH fix. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Always love the bun bo hue here! So goood, definitely come here for authentic viet food. Lots of veggies on the side and food is amazing! The portion is huge and price is reasonable. Parking can be tough though as I visited the location in E colonial.

Yelp
I visited Pho Huong Lan with my family and the pho here is absolutely incredible! The restaurant is quite small but my party of 4 only had to wait around 10 minutes before being seated since it was a busier night. The outside seating area is also a cute option if you visit while the weather is nice. I highly recommend the Pho Dac Biet (special combination). The broth is so flavorful and aromatic with super tender meat. I also got a lemonade soda which had fresh lemon and was really tart just how I like it.
google avatar

Yeng V.

Yelp
Fast and very friendly service! I ordered the Bun Bo Hue with the beef rib and it was spectacular! Noodles were al dente! Broth was phenomenal and perfect! Loads of meats! Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant! I highly recommend!

Yelp
Pho with beef tongue. Best pho place in orlando! Extremely good broth and the place is always busy and service is extremely quick. Good place for food but they turn tables quick so you need to find somewhere else nearby to hangout afterwards if you plan to spend time with friends or family.

Yelp
Came and tried this place for the first time a few hours ago and I'm already missing this broth with the noodles :( Our party of three came on Saturday around 1:30 and waited just a few minutes before getting seated outside (honestly not bad because there were some big parties ahead of us who looked like they'd waited a while). We ordered a large bun Bo hue and large pho short rib to share. Both broths had amazing depth of flavor and I loved the noodles in the bun bo hue. Just a bit disappointing there was only one piece of pork blood. Besides that, no complaints- it was a pretty much a perfect bowl with bouncy noodles, flavorful broth and assorted herbs/veggies and meats. Service was great and very quick. Weather was nice so it was a good day to be sitting outside. Just the first of many visits!

Yelp
I cannot say enough about this place, I come very frequently even though it is a way across town from me. For great pho, it is worth it. I have tried a few different options, but the S2 remains supreme. Absolutely delicious, I will continue to return for more.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was quick but the pho was just OK. Place is really small and a bit hidden. They serve pho with a thick wide noodle which feels more like a udon noodle rather than pho. The noodles weren't bad it was just different from your standard pho noodle (thin). The broth did lack some flavor. It lacked the flavor and aroma of authentic pho spices (like anise). There are plenty of meats to choose from and different meat combos since they only serve pho which is great. There are no apps like fried egg rolls or summer rolls. My quest for an authentic pho place in central FL continues.
google avatar

Briana N.

Yelp
I still love the pho here and everything from my previous review stands! But I recently had the combination pho and my only complaint is that it only comes with one meatball. :( But we tried one of the desserts this time, the che thai, and it was so good! It's basically a cold cup of fruit and toppings inside a pretty sweet milk. And it's so refreshing. I also love that they have a lot of different sauces and such at the table, besides the standard hoisin and sriracha. I am a big big fan of the sliced pickled garlic. Parking always seems full, but I haven't had any trouble finding parking yet. But it's kind of annoying if you have to go to the bathroom to ask for the key and to walk to the bathroom. There are several stalls inside, but only one key to my knowledge. And the server's are usually pretty friendly, depending on who you talk to. Some of them don't seem to acknowledge if they heard your request when they walk off, (even though they did)so it's a little confusing. But we still left satisfied.

Yelp
When I first came in, this place so busy, and they are fast. I got a table right away. This place is small and they have an outdoor seating. This place only service Vietnamese noodles soup. My husband order PHO ĐẶC BIỆT special pho and had XL noodles bowl, I had a BÚN BÒ HUẾ for a L. This place gave a lots of meats and noodles. The bowl was huge. We also order GỎI GÀ. It was good too! I also like my sugarcane drink too! The price here is very reasonable. The waster was so attractive, when he saw my napkin on the floor, he told me and hurry grab me another one, I did not ask or say anything. That's what you call good service. The condiments were all there and good. The next time I come and visit, I will definitely come back for some noodles soup.
google avatar

Kristen V.

Yelp
Found this little gem tucked back in a small plaza with other Vietnamese businesses. The pho was authentic and came with sprouts, lime, jalapeños, basil, culantro, and Vietnamese coriander. The coriander was new for me and had an interesting flavor. I also had a passion fruit juice, that was perfect since it wasn't too sweet, more on the sour side, which it should be. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Vivian Y.

Yelp
My go to for pho in Orlando!! I always like to recommend this place to anyone coming to Orlando and it never disappoints! I also like how fast they are with taking orders and bringing out the food; the herbs and beansprouts are always fresh!
google avatar

Joy J.

Yelp
Ordered the Medium bowl pho with meatball and fatty brisket and fresh noodles. The broth is clear and delicious. The meat ball was beefy yet kind of small and the brisket had good enough of fat trimmings. The noodles were delicious. This place gets busy. The price is reasonable ($14 for medium bowl) - I had more meat served here than the west colonial new location. They serve bottle water - request cup of ice because the bottles are not cold. You see staff hustle and bustle here with those pho bowls. Customer service here is a hit or miss - Do not expect much just enjoy the pho. I prefer this location rather than west colonial.
google avatar

Tim J.

Yelp
Decided to check this place out for Sunday brunch. I went to their newly opened location on West colonial drive. They gave each of us 500cc bottle of water, which I preferred over tap water. We both got medium pho that has filet mignon, brisket, and tendon inside. The price point is bit high for a pho ($~15 for medium) but the ingredients are soooo fresh including the beef. The broth is also really tasty. The noodles are not the traditional pho noodles that you would see in other pho restaurants though. Personally, I prefer the traditional noodles, so this was the only downside. Still, I loved everything else about the restaurant and would definitely come back!
google avatar

Sounder A.

Yelp
If you like pho, go here. Best pho in the state. Only down side is no spring rolls, I don't care but some people need a roll. I prefer tendon and they make the best. I tried the ox penis and I thought it was excellent, don't be scared. There is always a line, but worth the wait. Outdoor seating is super nice.
google avatar

Stephanie I.

Yelp
Can't go wrong coming here. Great food, quick service, and I love eating outside under the fans. The sate here is also top notch.
google avatar

Rachel C.

Yelp
I've been dreaming about this restaurant since I came here a year ago and finally had the opportunity to stop by and get the Bun Bo Hue. It was amazing, everything I've ever wanted. The broth is extremely flavorful and the meat was so tender and delicious. The pho was great last time but this bun bo hue was life changing. Adding in some of the garlic chili sauce (careful it's pretty dang spicy!) also kicked it up a notch and was delicious. We were seated and got our food extremely quick. I will say the restaurant gets pretty packed quickly so I recommend coming earlier in the day for lunch, and also since the bun bo hue sells out on busy days! Can't wait for my next trip to Orlando so I can eat this again!
google avatar

Elena C.

Yelp
Decent price for the pho. I normally get the combination. I'd come here again, but I wouldn't pay extra for oxtail (not as flavorful as I thought). The service is up to speed, and though the place can be packed, I felt right at home with the ambiance of the restaurant.
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Was at Orlando and we saw the high reviews at Pho Huong Lan. We decided to try it out and it was so packed. The servers told us to sit outside in the back area. We sat at the benches and table that is lower to the ground in summer 95+ degree heat. Luckily they have those home fans on but no portable A/C. We were sweating like we all just ran a marathon. I got a Large Pho Bo Vien (meatball pho) ($16). Holy cow the broth was so bad. It was pretty salty, the meatballs were packed in salt or something and the Banh pho (rice noodles) were breaking apart. Also, they don't have Huy Fong Sriracha and have those off-brand sriracha that has no flavor and just basically food coloring. Everyone in our party expressed the same disappointment LOL. Once we paid for our table, the lady came out and told us they made a mistake on our bill and that I only paid a portion of it. She never even showed us the bill and demanded an extra $30 something dollars. I just handed her $40 cash and call it a day. Overall: I've ate Pho basically ever since I was in kindergarten. This place might be the worst or one of the worse Pho restaurants I've ever eaten. I'm very surprised by the high reviews. The service itself it can slide but the food itself is just abysmal.
google avatar

Kevin P.

Yelp
This is my GOTO spot for pho in the Orlando area. I always get a large pho dac biet (combo special) which comes with generous amounts of noodles and meats, all submerged in a flavorful broth. The service is wonderful and I love how quickly they come to get our order since I usually know what I want as soon as I sit down. The ambiance is busy, and by that I mean they've got decor on the walls, the TV is playing something, the kitchen is open so you hear everything in there, and it's overall a busy ambiance and I'm all for it. I enjoy coming here whenever I need a good pho to pick me up and I can count on them to do just that every time. *BONUS: they have a "King" size bowl which is their largest size, and if you opt in for their pho challenge you can get the price of the bowl comped and a $100! Unfortunately I do not have the guts to do this, especially after barely being able to finish the "Mega" bowl, their 2nd largest size.
google avatar

Gigi C.

Yelp
This is a cool little spot. I've been here several times and have only gotten the P1, because I tend to do that if I really like something lol. They give you a lot of greens and sprouts and the meat is tender and falls apart. Probably my favorite Pho in Orlando. The sugarcane juice is also bomb. It's always busy and service is quick. They have indoor and outdoor seating and it's tucked in a little plaza off of mills and 50, it's best to park in the Avalon parking and walk in through the back door.
google avatar

Sonita J.

Yelp
Visited this spot tucked away on Mills 50 because I have been hearing about it for a while. It was packed which was a good sign. The menu was big and I got the #21. We got lots of fresh sprouts and the usual Thai basil and things that go along with pho. My pho was good but I have had better broth. It was lighter than I am used to. It was packed with meat and I had a huge rib in it but the meat was a bit tough. My mom got the bun bo hue which was much more tasty to me. Our service was a bit lacking too. The waitress was probably over worked and pulled in many directions and it showed. Solid pricing and decent soup but not my fave.
google avatar

Jan Z.

Yelp
Found this place by accident. We're traveling from the Netherlands and my husband went to Avalon for a tarot reading. My kids, a friend and I discovered this restaurant en decided to try it. Quick service, nice meals! I took P1, my daughter P4, my son had C1 and our friend S1. Very nice experience and friendly, helpful staff.
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
KUDOS to the staff for providing supreme quality customer service! I ordered P13 and it was delicious! The pho Noodle with brisket, tendons and veggies! Thank God for them! The ambiance was quiet and the music was lively! I highly recommend all to come and visit to support this local business!
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
Best pho I've had! Packed with meat, delicious broth! Service was super quick too, we got our food in like 5 minutes.
google avatar

Brittney B.

Yelp
One of my Vietnamese co-workers told me that this restaurant was the most authentic Pho restaurant in Orlando, so my husband and I had to try it and we were NOT disappointed! The restaurant had a beautiful garden and gazebo in front of it and seating indoors and outdoors. We placed our order at the restaurant entrance and were seated. I got a small bowl of the filet and crunchy beef and a lemonade. My husband got a large bowl with the filet, meatballs, a side of raw beef, and a soda lemonade. The pho came with a plate of bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, lime wedges, and other fresh vegetables. They tables there also have fish sauce, hot sauce, and a variety of things to customize your pho so its exactly how you like it. The serving sizes were generous and I had leftovers to take home. Both lemonades were good, but we both liked the soda lemonade slightly better. The flavor had more depth and was like an explosion in our mouths. Rating from F to A+++, I would give it an A+++. We will be back to try other dishes!

Joanna L.

Yelp
Finally an authentic Viet pho spot that sells big beef bone marrow! The pho broth is delish and authentic and not sweet. My go to for authentic pho and dinosaur beef bone marrow!
google avatar

Caleb C.

Yelp
Incredibly authentic Vietnamese food in Orlando. The server was quick and she was very polite. We called ahead to reserve a table for dinner and they were very accommodating. We arrived and they brought bottled water and answered our questions about the menu. They were out of Chicken Pho for the night which was a bummer so we all tried beef. The spicy chili and jalapeños on the table are incredible! So spicy and full of flavor. The medium soup is more than enough for one person. We ordered one medium and one large of the P1 and should have ordered two mediums. The Beef short rib falls right off the bone. The interior is a bit dated and everything feels sort of old and a little grungy. Nothing looks cohesive and it gets very loud. I wouldn't recommend it for a date night since a lot of families with young children come and they play in the dining room. Overall great food and I'm determined to come back and try the chicken pho.
google avatar

Rozlin L.

Yelp
The food was great. I recommend give it a try. I grow up in Ca. use to eat Pho all the time. I though no one can make the food like i had before. This place proved me wrong.
google avatar

Santina R.

Yelp
Soups are delicious, healthy, refreshing and filling! They give you plenty of culantro, lime, basil, jalapeño and been sprouts for your soup! Passionfruit juice was delicious! I wish they had some appetizers and some non soup entrees as well but overall they were amazing! Ambiance is intimate and comfortable and service is quick!
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Very neat little spot inconspicuously nestled in a a cul-de-sac-esque shopping area marked by a bright yellow sign with red lettering in the back parking lot facing side. I can see why this place was bustling with patrons on a Monday afternoon after trying their great pho and bun bo hue. The pho noodles are made fresh, the beef is super tender, and the broth is very nicely infused with the abundance of herbs added without overpowering the beef essence. A great go to spot whenever I visit Orlando.
google avatar

Matthew O.

Yelp
Really excellent place for pho! In my opinion, probably one of the best places for pho in Orlando. The portion size is excellent and the price is reasonable. I especially love the way they serve their beef. Unlike a lot of other places, the beef is placed multilayered in the middle of the broth. As you gently break it apart, the heat of the broth slowly cooks each slice. The beef is nice and tender and the broth is flavorful but yet not overwhelming. Service is solid here, although with how busy it is, so times it can be a little hard to get the servers attention. Likewise, for people looking for ambiance, I think that is not the point of this restaurant. Food is the primary reason for coming here and food is the reason so will keep coming back. Keep up the good work :)
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
I checked this place out as someone who's from out of town since I saw this restaurant pop up with a lot of reviews. This is definitely a hole in the wall type of restaurant that lives up to its standards. They had amazing service and were very prompt. I first noticed how busy it was with many parties coming in to find seating. I was content with my experience and the pho broth was flavorful. They do not shy away from the amount of meat they include! I ordered medium pho and Vietnamese iced coffee for a total of $19 (before tip).
google avatar

Anjela L.

Yelp
Surprised to see this place had such high reviews. Went here due to the high rating. Honestly one of the worst pho places I've been to based on flavor. The broth had a weird taste/smell to me. The meat was barely edible for me and the person who did eat the meat had strong stomach pain for days after. The service was quick but I wouldn't go here again. Update: after the review I got some fun messages. It's not my fault the food bloated our stomachs and had us nauseous for days. I love pho but not this place's.
google avatar

Linnea E.

Yelp
I'm not usually a big pho fan but my sister definitely is so we decided to try Pho Huong Lan the other day. Pretty straightforward menu, cozy seating, quick service, and really good food - what else do you need? We both had beef pho which was fabulous, especially with the array of sauces/condiments provided. The sate is a must! The passionfruit juice was also delicious. We'll definitely be back - my sister has to take on the King bowl challenge!

SapphireCat L.

Yelp
Fantastic pho establishment. The area was quite crowded and not the most comfortable but service was very attentive and food was excellent. Menu is done in an elegant customizable style. The noodles they use are the authentic thicker strands (while also providing common options). Soup has a very clean and impactful taste. I was especially impressed by the quality of meat they put in the bowl. 8.5/10 (perfectly for casual eating as single or group, no complaints with food or service but wish we had more space) Favorite item : filet mignon pho

Lanny K.

Yelp
Good Pho, place is clean and service was friendly. I would recommend this place for a quick warm meal.

Millet Y.

Yelp
Best pho I've had! Service is very good too. You can choose from multiple sizes with the extra large bowl big enough to share. It was fairly busy when we went but got a table for two instantly. A good casual spot to scratch the pho itch.
google avatar

Marina C.

Yelp
Pho Huong Lan is still one of the most authentic spots for Pho and Bun Bo Hue! They recently updated their menu, and they are now serving chicken pho as well. I've been coming here for a few years, and I can still spend on the delicious food and a straightforward dining experience. They also recently added a pho challenge to win $100 if you can finish 2 lbs of noodles and 2 lbs of meat.

Yelp
We went to Pho restaurant 3 times, 3 times the waitress was impolite. We came to eat and pay, not to beg. We were not the only ones who were mistreated. I asked my friends, they all answered that Pho Huong Lan restaurant served impolitely. No one wanted to eat there. It was the same waitress. Maybe she is the owner of this restaurant. I give 1 star for the service of this restaurant.
google avatar

Kelly N.

Yelp
I ordered the pho dac biet and it was so delicious! I ordered a small size and was struggling to finish it - I can't believe there are SIX additional larger sizes to the bowls. Staff are very friendly and service was quick as well. We sat outside since the inside was packed (we went Saturday around noon) and it was definitely hot in this summer heat but I think welll worth it.
google avatar

Annie N.

Yelp
I loved trying the pho here and it might be my favorite place to get it. The broth was nicely clear and tasted fresh; I usually like mixing hoisin sauce for my flavor but this one didn't need it! I also really liked the texture of the rice noodles. They provide a variety of pho toppings like soybean sprouts and greens to complement the pho as well. I do like green onion but they add quite a lot in the bowl that it's a little hard to drink the broth by itself so that's my only issue . The place itself is small but there's a lot of seating. I went on a relatively busy day but they were able to seat 7 of us within 20 minutes. I definitely would love to come back here, the broth is perfect for recovering!
google avatar

Kevin S.

Yelp
Came here with a Vietnamese friend who's a local here. She said this is very good pho. I've had couple friends who are in the food industry also swear up and down this is the best pho in town so I've got multiple reliable sources. The menu is simple and focused only on pho. I think they also have the other bun bo hui but apparently they sell out quickly. Soup was top notch. I usually don't drink the soup but my bowl was empty at the end of the meal. Meat on top was generous and delicious. They had tons of vegetables added on as well on the side. Definitely recommend everyone checking out the hype here. It's worth it in my opinion!
google avatar

Patricia N.

Yelp
Hands down the best place for pho and bun Bo hue in Orlando. Being from Indiana, we have nothing like this. The extra selection of meat add-ons is what attracted me to this place. I personally have had the Pho 17 and BBH 8. Fresh rice noodles. Lots of fresh veggies. Perfectly cooked meat and also plentiful. Short rib bone is amazing. As is the oxtail. Or the beef tongue. Drink menu is also nice. Kumquat lemonade. Passionfruit. Iced coffee. All very good. I ventured here 4 days in a row for a fix, taking a new family member each day. My mom's been in the hospital since we arrived, and a good bone broth was the first thing we were able to bring her after surgery.

Yelp
The pho with rare steak and brisket was delicious! The broth was well-seasoned, and the meat was fresh. The tables were clean, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere.
