My family stopped by hoping for a comforting bowl of pho, but the experience was just okay overall. The food itself wasn’t very flavorful — the broth felt a bit flat, and it didn’t have that richness or depth you usually expect from a good pho spot. It wasn’t bad, just not memorable. Customer service could also use improvement. The staff didn’t seem very friendly or welcoming, which definitely affected the overall vibe of the visit. It’s an alright place if you’re hungry and nearby 😅

Ordered number 2, large. It’s okay, but not amazing. It’s just a typical pho spot that does the trick. I’d rate it higher if they added more beef and the price was a bit lower.

For a spot to consistently have a line out the door.. I expected the food to at least be decent. I’ve been here a couple times before and I don’t remember the quality being this low. Pho was mid. Broth had little to no flavor. Soup was not even close to hot. Noodles were undercooked because the broth didn’t work its magic. Asked for cooked bean sprouts and it came raw. It was even noted on the receipt. Service is below average. Low key rude. Barely sat down for 1 minute. The server will shake their head in disappointment when you’re not ready to order. They will not acknowledge that you when you have your hand raised and you constantly have to chase down someone when you need something. Do they even wash the dishes here??? All the bowls either had sriracha or soup stains on it. I wish I was making it up. Lost my appetite before we even started eating. Super disappointed. Even the other Kevin’s locations are better than this one.

Well, it’s been years since I’ve eaten here last and it does have some mixed reviews. But we were seated quickly and menus came immediately as did water as requested. The waiter took our order very soon after our menu and the food came in fast in less than five minutes!! I had #31 beef stew with wide noodles and my partner ordered #55 b which was bbq pork with vermicelli and an imperial roll. They were both delicious and flavorful. My small bowl still had a lot of ingredients and the broth was excellent!! Can’t ask for much more than what!! We’ll be back for sure to try other dishes!

Vibe over food quality. It is convenient, fast, lively, big place that makes you happy when you walk in. Feels like every table around us ended up ordering the chicken wings and it hit a spot you did not needed to be filled, a spot usually filled by imperial rolls. Not a bad pho not a bad pho ga not a bad rice plate but nothing exceptional either. But a good time nonetheless.

Our go to place when my husband wants pho. We always order: #1 large noodles,22B (small) noodles and 35 rice plate. Also we would order Thai ice tea light on ice. Everytime we order our food, it’s the same. Good and not too expensive.

Okay this lady’s attitude is the next level. It is not that she doesn’t know how to speak English. Because I know cause I am Asian okay? She is rude and telling me go to the table 6. I was just asking where is table number 6 because I don’t work at this place 😂. She said there! there! with attitude and she left me. Damnn 😂 I don’t expect anything about service from like this food place . But basic behavior is all I need. That’s it. No need to be good service because it is busy place and I work as a waitress too. So, I understand 😂 . Manager you better tell your people to behave basic manners to human okay? Not customers because it’s okay. Just let them treat human with basic manners. I don’t care how old she is. I respect everyone and everyone should respect each other. That’s it!

The pho here is excellent. I ordered #10 and my friend ordered #32, both medium. Bill was about $40 and change including the 18% gratuity. Service is superb and the restaurant is very clean. The patrons here keep to themselves and aren't too noisy. I will be coming back again. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful regards.

I'm so irked right now. I ordered a medium and a large but when I got the to go orders they both came out the same. Same amount of everything. When I tried to flag this to the store, the person that picked up the phone had the audacity to say "it's only a little different in cost why you make a big deal?" If you're gonna order to go, just order the smaller size because all to go orders are the same size...

We ordered to go because it seemed to have a good reputation and it was a rainy day so pho sounded great. So the food was great. The shrimp spring rolls were rolled perfectly, a nice mix of the lettuce, shrimp, and noodles. The chicken and shrimp pho had a great deep but clean flavor with a tad of umami coming from fish sauce. BUT, the order was all kinds of wrong. We ordered one large and one medium pho. They gave us two mediums. We ordered all the spicy sauces and oils, they forgot to give us any of it. So we overpaid at least $5-7 which isn't a lot but it was frustrating to come home and realize they screwed up the order. Given how busy they are, it seems they're on auto pilot and if you want something different than what is just the normal stuff, they seem to have trouble with that.

Solid neighborhood place in Westlake area for Vietnamese food that's relatively inexpensive...value wise, you a good sized portion. I've been coming here off and on for many years....my attraction was primarily that it was one of the few restaurants near me that offered durian boba. Service is fast, before you are settled into your seat, they're already there to take your order. While it's been a couple of years since dining here, my recent experience was great. I came with friends for lunch and we ordered the Fried combo Plate, Beef Stew Noodle Soup & Chicken broth pho. The beef stew was something I'd been craving, hearty & comforting on this cold winter day. The beef stew was very tasty, the tomato broth well seasoned and there was enough brisket pieces in my opinion. I ordered a small size and it was just right for me. The combo platter looked good, the fried chicken wasn't greasy & the thin pork chop was not chewy and grilled nicely. We all left very full with no leftovers. A very enjoyable lunch. I'll probably be back when I'm in the area again. (I tend to go to the Irving Street location).

Kevin & Chris' Noodles near Skyline Blvd has been one of our go-to pho spots for over 20 years, and the pho still hits. Flavorful, comforting, and perfect when you just want a good bowl and to be on your way. Did we notice a little musty smell walking in? Yes. Did it stop us from ordering? Absolutely not. This is a no-frills, hole-in-the-wall kind of place--you're here for bomb pho, not vibes. Prices are still reasonable (bless). You get three bowl sizes--small, medium, or large--around $13-$15, which feels fair these days. Plus, they offer wide rice noodles, which is a huge win and not something every pho spot has. It's been remodeled over the years, and it's still a solid, reliable stop when the pho craving hits.

Every time I come this place is packed! The pho is really good value, it's hard to find a decent meal around $15 here, but you can get a large bowl of pho with beef and seafood and stuff and it's only $20 after tax and tip. They're are small, medium, and large sizes so you can choose whichever matches your appetite. The service is not amazing or anything, but the server did suggest some options for me when I asked. The inside feels very much like a homey family owned small restaurant, where all the locals eat. The pho is great, you can choose different types of noodles, and the soup is flavorful. One of my top choices in the area.

On a nippy rainy night, we decided to get some hot pho for dinner, and this seemed like the best place that was also nearby. (Kevin's parking seemed a little tough, but you can park across the street in the giant Home Depot/Safeway parking lot and just walk) Kevin's was pretty busy which is usually a good sign, but we were still seated and served quickly. We got the pho and a beef stew as well as an avocado shake. The pho was very tasty with the broth being so satisfying. It was better than the beef stew but the stew is a good option for those who want a earthier, spicier broth. The avocado shake was also really good though this is my second avocado shake of all time so I can't see how it compares. I liked it though. Can't wait to come back to Kevin's!

the pho is good, i got the pho with rare steak. The spring rolls were good. It is very busy here and a lot of families come. the service was not my favorite though. both times i've been here the waiters had seemed to rush us to clear the table off, and have given us attitude. I love pho so it kills me since i live so close, but I probably won't come here again.

The lady in charge seems like she's also the owner is so rude, always makes you feel Like you are unwelcome. Never answers back even when you pay and say thank you. She should fire herself from that place.

Always order the number 2 pho combo here because it's delicious and great for the gloomy overcast here in Daly City! I'm a HUGE fan of Kevin's noodle house. I've never had a bad experience at any of the locations. Now that I live at Westlake, this is my go-to for a nice bowl of pho. The number 2 pho combo is loaded with flank steak, meatballs, beef fat, tripe, noodles, and a deliciously curated savory broth. The only thing I miss at these pho spots are the plates of cilantro they used to provide with mint and bean sprouts. Kevin's had the BEST Thai iced tea. So creamy, just the right amount of sweetness. I order mine without boba. This restaurant is a must when you're in Daly City!

Went here the other day and it wasn't the same as before. Ordered the large #1. Meat portion small. You get more noodles than meat... not worth it. Also, we asked for water. And our food came first. So we had ate half way in and we had to ask for water again..

Is this the best pho you'll ever have? No. Is it cheap, fast, and above average? Yes! Now, remember, this is fast food. Just because you sit down and have somewhat a hint of a server, doesn't mean you're getting full service. Be warned that when you walk in, you have exactly 90 seconds before they ask you if you are ready to order. If not, that's okay, they'll come back in another 90 seconds. Now, if you're still not ready, that's fine but now you won't see them again for 5 minutes. Not sure why. If you're unsure what to get, I suggest their fried fish cakes, spring rolls, and Beef Pho. I also love their avocado shake with boba. This place is loud, fast, high-turnaround, and efficient. But it is definitely a vibe. Especially this location. It's at a busy intersection in the Sunset and has a lot of foot traffic. Also, I wish this place was open later. Like until midnight.

Go to place on a cold off days.. but instead of soup I tried this #52B, shrimp and beef , dry egg noodles - savory and a sweet combination with a side of soup.

Ordered: 55B. Bún Gà Chả Giò (春 捲 燒 雞 肉 粉) $14.50 Grilled chicken, fried egg roll, lettuce, carrot, peanut w/ vermicelli 44. Cơm Gà Tàu Hủ Ky (燒 雞 丶 蝦 餅 飯) $15.00 Grilled chicken, shrimp cake w/ steamed rice The food definitely hits the spot, but don't expect to take home leftovers. Portions are on the smaller side. The grilled chicken and beef were flavorful, though a bit too salty side for my taste. Shrimp cakes and egg rolls were crispy and delicious. Both dishes came with a bowl of chicken broth, which helped balance out the saltiness of the meats. Service is minimal; had to flag down someone to take our order. Food arrived quickly and so did our bill.

Kevin's Noodle House never disappoints. I ended up going post lunch rush on a Wednesday and service was really quick. Getting seated, ordering, and the food arriving all took under 10 minutes. The price has gone up slightly since the last time I went but it was only about an $1 increase each item.

Clean, well maintained interior/exterior. We ordered the following to go: #13 (L) #34 #41 (customer ) #46 My kids love this place for the following reasons: -consistently good food *fresh, generous ingredients ( the fresh bean sprouts, lime, basil leaves, mint, thinly sliced onions, etc...) -quick service -straight forward menu with highlighted customer favorites (#s w/red diamonds) -soups and stews come in S, M, & L sizes -utensils are on the table -Clean inside/outside -quick service~table turn overs (Likeminded individuals who want to eat and get get on with their day ) NOTE~ #13 didn't make the pictures because it was already being shared and devoured by the teens (Pro-tip-we share those large sized soups and stews or buy them to go for 2 meals. Make sure to separate the amount you want to eat from your 2nd meal; otherwise, the noodles get gummy.) **#74: -3 color drink is delicious as well

Was craving some Pho and stumbled upon this place. It was pretty packed at 2pm on a Wednesday but was seated immediately. The broth was decent and the small is actually a small unlike some other places so maybe a medium is more appropriate for adults. I wouldn't recommend the fried spring rolls. They were pretty dry even with the sauce. Overall, not sure I'd come back, but judging from what other tables got, I think I should've ordered something with egg noodles.

My go to pho place that never disappoints. The perfect place to come to after a long night of drinking, or on a cold, foggy day to warm up. The food and service are always consistent, and you know what you're getting every time. Quick, reliable and delicious. Even if there's a wait at the door, they turn tables like clockwork. Your order is taken almost immediately, so if it's your first time, I recommend looking at the menu ahead of time so you don't feel rushed when you get there. My favorite is the #2, and the rice plates are a nice change up as well. If you're feeling an appetizer, the A8 is a great shareable, and comes with a yummy sweet and sour sauce. Their spring rolls are also delicious, and the peanut sauce is one of my faves I've had.

No frills and super quick service! There are many Kevin's Noodle Houses around SF (and the broader Bay Area), but this one is probably my favorite. I used to go to the one on Irving but just prefer this one since it's easier to find parking with less traffic around the area. Once you order, the pho comes out in a couple minutes (piping hot!!). I typically prefer Pho Tai at other places but actually like their Pho Nam better here. The broth is flavorful but as many have pointed out here, there is an abundance of noodle compared to meat. On the contrary, this is probably one of the cheapest pho places around the area. They take card and there isn't a minimum!

It's been awhile since we dined here as we used to come more often when our kids were younger. Same owner as before with some employees that I recognize. this place continues to bring in the neighborhood crowd of families and young adults as prices are reasonable for this type of good. Arriving a little after 7 pm, the place was packed as we were a party of 5 however we waited no more than 10 minutes before we were seated. Highly recommend if you are in the area and wanting some pho or vermicelli rice noodle dishes.

Perfect for those on a time crunch because the food comes out pretty much right after you order. Super quick and easy. The broth is the absolute highlight of their pho dishes! And I also got the shrimp spring roll because it's my favorite appetizer to get when I eat pho :)

My family and I came here one Sunday after church. This was one of the only Pho spots we knew that opened late night. To us thus is a plus, because we love us Pho. Often times we make it ourselves at home so coming here is a treat. The staff greeted us and seemed to have seated us and gave us the menu right away. Soon after giving us some time to look over the menu they took our order. Very quick service indeed. My family all got thai tea, but I requested for hot tea. I was surprised no tea instead I was presented with just hot water. Huh, I thought. Pho was tasty just your normal average pho, I think because we eat it often a bit I was expecting a bit more. It wasn't bad, but to me it didn't really stood out either. I never asked my family what their opinions were though. Eh it's ok, would I come again sure to give myself a break from cooking.

Best restaurant in terms of service, food, price. Food comes out ridiculously fast, and service is extremely fast. Ambiance is chill. It's your go-to for visiting Daly City

One of my go to spots for pho. Its located nearby and is always packed. I've been coming here for years, and it's remained consistently good every time.

Decent pho for a quick sit-down meal. I like the option of substituting the pho noodles for wide flat noodles. The service is good, the food comes out quickly and the flavor is there, but could be more aromatic. The times that I got their combo rice plate, I keep forgetting they their grilled pork is too sweet for my liking. I go to Pho Huynh Hiep for the convenience, it doesn't quite hit the spot though.

I've eaten here a few times and grabbed soup to-go tonight. Their service is always fast, whether you dine in or take out. They have plenty of seating inside. The chicken soup with shrimp could use slightly larger pieces of chicken, and while the broth is delicious, the shrimp was nothing special. They do give plenty of sprouts, cilantro, basil, and all the fixings. Overall, it's a decent pho spot close to my apartment.

Our go to place for a hearty big bowl of pho. Tons of soup noodle options. Plenty of rice and noodle plate meals as well. Huge menu! Service is super fast. They come to take your order right after you sit down. Well maybe a minute or two after but very fast. Regulars will know what to order. First timers will take a while to read the extensive menu. Big restaurant seating area, loud and noisy = people having a good time!

Been going here for years. I always make sure to stop by when I'm back in town. The prices are really good compared to other restaurants -- around $12-14 for a bowl of pho. I usually get a medium bowl of 29 and it fills me up. I would say it's decent pho and always does the job. A1 (egg rolls) and A4 (chicken wings) in appetizers are also super yummy. It gets busy (especially during the night), but it usually isn't too long of a wait. The restaurant is fast/paced; you get seated fast, they take your order right away, and your food comes quickly too. Also worth noting that there are a lot of seats inside, but you may share a table with other customers depending on where you sit.

So delicious I got #1 beef noodle soup special and it was so flavorful and warming for the soul highly recommend. My friend got the chicken pho and it lowkey tasted like chicken broth and there wasn't much chicken. I would stick with beef broth. My other friend got the beef stew and said it was very yummy. Super quick service too.

Had high expectations because friend suggested but instantly regretted my decision. The soup came up and I had a spoon full, tasted like hot water. In this case, usually pho restaurants have less meat flavored soup, but this one didn't even have any savory flavor, it's just hot water. The meat portion is ok, and the noodles are below average but the soup base is just straight undrinkable. I then kept adding seasoning and condiments and still couldn't taste anything. Probably one of the worst places I've been to, flavor wise. It seems like one of those places trying everything to save costs. Sad how this place turned out, I heard it used to be good but it definitely has gone downhill and needed a big change.

I've been searching for some good Pho in the city and Kevin's did not hit the spot. I ordered a large bowl of Pho Tai and some spring rolls (not pictured). The noodles had an off texture and starchy flavor and I assume they were undercooked. The broth had a very strong taste of fennel, which overshadowed the other delicate flavors of the pho broth. The spring rolls were also flavorless and loaded with 95% noodles. The service was decent, though the server spilled a bunch of tea on my table and did not bother to wipe it up. That is the wet spot you see in the photo. The interior is otherwise clean and spacious. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre and I will not be returning.

Positive experience! Visited this location on a Friday night around 5:30pm with a group of 3 and it was busy! It was confusing to get seated at first because it was hard to grab the attention of the host. We were seated after 10 minutes and were asked for our order twice within a few minutes of being seated. After ordering, our food felt like it came in minutes! Very fast and accommodating service once you are seated. I ordered 22b Phở Gà Tôm size medium. I'd recommend a size medium if you're coming with a decent appetite - my friends ordered a small and felt like it wasn't enough. The broth was flavorful, noodles were great texture. Shrimp and chicken were great BUT there were few pieces - it should have had a bit more meat compared to other Pho I've had. Overall, this place is great for affordable and decent Pho. I would come again and recommend it!

This place is fine you're in the mood for decent Vietnamese food. The service is no frills and feels a bit rushed when asked for your order which is not unusual for casual Vietnamese restaurants so this was fine. The food came out quickly after ordering which was nice. The food quality is ok which means it was average. It wasn't bad but also not great. Portion sizes were also average. I felt there could have been more protein for each dish. I still sometimes come here if I am in the area and want Vietnamese food.

Came here a long time ago (10? Years ago) and I think it was fine, nothing to write home about. Ordered takeout for the first time yesterday as in was feeling under the weather and wasn't really sure what to expect. Called and a lady answered, took my order and that it would be ready in 10 minutes. I thought she was still on the line so I proceeded to ask if she needed my name or phone number, but seemed she had already hung up. Had my husband pick up and first thing he told me was the lady was hella rude. She was on the phone when he walked in and after putting down the phone, she says "what?!" My husband listed out our order and she proceeds to go get the food, comes back, taps on the card reader and that was the whole of the interaction/transaction. Ok... Ordered a chicken pho (they don't do kids sizes for take out so ordered the small for my kid), medium beef pho with steak and brisket, and small beef pho with steak, tripe, flank. I did not see a size diff between the small or large... for all I know they were all small even when the medium was paid. Price a bit steep just for 3 phos, but it was a satisfying meal. Other than the customer service, it's an ok place for a hot bowl of pho.

We eat at Kevin's noodle house for the convenience. There's a Home Depot and Safeway nearby plus all the parking in the lot across the street. The food is nothing special. There's the typical pho, noodle soups, pork chop on rice, and vermicelli dishes. The potions have gotten a little smaller over the years and the quality has gone down. But for $14, you can't expect too much. The service is fast since they're trying to get people in and out quickly. After you order, they'll bring out your order in a few minutes so it's great for quick meal. It gets pretty busy on the weekends; I'll often see a long list of people waiting for a table.

fast, simple, and cheap. no frills and no fancy cuts or anything. is it the best pho i've had? like no, but does it do the job? yes. and that's all i can really ask for in a pho restaurant chain. they seem to be consistent throughout too. if you're looking to get your pho fill, this will do the trick.

Ok parking is easy, As you are waiting to get inside you better start looking at the menu. They come fast to take your order and the food comes out just as fast. I came and I was told by my friend you better know what you want or else he might not come back. Ok. Ordered 13 thin beef pho, spring rolls, boba. If you have a small party and there's only big tables available then you will be sitting with them. We have had to share tables before and it was fine. Also, since they are busy they mean business. When you look almost done the check will come out for you to pay and go. Such great food, and you know it's good by the line outside

If you're craving pho, this gets the job done. I recommend #3 Dac Biet or #31 Hu Tieu Bo Kho if you're feeling beef stew. The portions are a good size and the taste is satisfying enough. They offer ice water or complimentary tea (but it's usually pretty diluted..). There's usually a pretty long wait, but once you're seated and order, the service is very speedy. It's a very casual spot and they really want to get you in and out. Definitely a no frills spot but still a place we have on rotation.

Food - 5/5 Their food is real good, they never mess it up. I always get seafood pho and it always hits the spot. Service - 4/5 Nothing too special, just the average service. Not rude and not overly nice. Ambiance - 3.5/5 The place overall is not bad, it's simple and it serves its purpose. However, the bathroom is ALWAYS stinky, reeks of piss and it's just so suffocating. I suggest you don't go to the bathroom there. A complainant I have, it might not be very relevant, but still. In their utensil box, they put their chopsticks down, they put the part your mouth touches downward. I just feel like it's kinda nasty because the box becomes moldy and dusty later, so I always clean the utensils with tissue.

Yum! I thought this was a great spot for a quick pho or vermicelli meal. They have many Vietnamese food options to order from. Their service was outstanding - we sat so quickly and got our food very quickly. The pricing was reasonable in my opinion. I thought the quality was great!

This place has always been the spot to go with unbeatable prices. The food quality is still good but service has always been lacking. Today, they were so on point with giving the check near the end of our meal but we had to ask 3x for water. Also asked for extra bowls twice & received dirty bowls. The bowls still had water in it & some leftover speck of meat. While grabbing the spoons, one of the spoons had a leftover noodle. Lastly, when the staff refills the utensils, they don't have gloves on. Skeptical on the cleanliness here.

Place gone downhill fast. My "Large" bowl of pho had literally 4 pieces of meat and a piece of fat that's not edible. They give you the check after 15 mins because of the long lines. Service is a joke. Haven't been here for over 5 years, and plan to not come back about the same time.

These employees are rude and act like they're doing you a favor. Been here several times and it's always the same lol "WHAT YOU WANT" no hello, no smiles. I believe any place that will point to the bill and demand a tip should at least treat you with a basic level of respect lol Food is good no surprises there. But really wish the experience was better. Small business, big business, family owned, whatever. No excuse for any of that

IYKYK. Kevin's is a mainstay in the Bay. Smaller than westlake, same fast service. Ordered the combo plate and the plate felt smaller for some reason for the huge amount of food.

I've been here once before and feel like the quality has gone down a bit. It's a busy and casual place with super fast service. I ordered the Pho Tai and felt like 1) the broth tasted a bit of tap water and wasn't very deep in flavor and 2) there were like 4 pieces of meat.

I have eaten here for over a decade. Recently ventured out to other Vietnamese restaurants and realized that this restaurant serves table scraps compared to others. Prices have been on the rise and portion sizes are not consistent. Won't be coming back anymore. Advice to others - look else where.
