Well, you’ve been warned! If you value your time and money, skip this place and head to a genuine Vietnamese restaurant instead. Let’s start with the summer rolls—dry as cardboard! The staff insisted they were made fresh, but I have my doubts. When it comes to pho, I was disappointed to find several questionable pieces of meat. It’s clear that freshness isn’t a priority here. The soup is pre-assembled, so you can’t really evaluate the quality before adding it to the broth. On a positive note, the broth itself has a lovely flavor, which I appreciated. However, as a southern girl who enjoys some heat in my food, I was surprised to find they charge $0.50 for each container of chili oil. And to top it off, you have to pay upfront, which can lead to unexpected costs by the end of your meal. The Thai tea was the smallest serving I’ve ever seen, and the pho noodles were a mix of gummy and chewy textures, suggesting a lack of consistency in their freshness. It felt like they were using a combination of fresh and older noodles, which really detracted from the experience. This is what happens when a delicate cuisine like Vietnamese food gets turned into a franchise. For a truly satisfying meal, I highly recommend visiting the authentic Vietnamese restaurant at 4302 Bryan St. in Dallas, TX 75204. You’ll thank me later! - Your Neighborhood Foodie

Google
Flavorful Vietnamese Cuisine with Top-Notch Service I just had a fantastic meal at Pho is for Lovers. The pork banh mi was everything you'd want—crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. The beef pho had a rich broth and perfectly tender beef. The fried shrimp rolls were a crispy, delicious treat that I couldn’t get enough of. The Thai tea was creamy and refreshing, while the passion fruit juice had a bright, tropical taste that complemented the meal. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless, including the restrooms. If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food, this is your spot!

Google
Restaurant is well run, and provides comfortable atmosphere for delicious food. Ordering was simple and fast, with quick delivery of meal. I ordered the Shaken Beef and a small Beef Pho. The Shaken Beef was by far the better option, with an amazing marinade and BEAUTIFULLY cooked fresh vegetables. The pho was underwhelming, but fulfilling. Would go back to try more!

Google
Small restaurant but clean. Easy to order from menu. Pho is tasty with yummy meatballs. Vietnamese coffee tastes good. Will try other dishes when I come back

Google
I'm not a big fan of Vietnamese cuisine but this was respectable. I had your basic chicken pho which was perfect for me. I really needed some brothy spice filled goodness to calm my digestion..a bit too much noodles for my taste but it was good and perfect size. Service was amazing, friendly, and prompt...quick turn around on food orders!!! Very nice staff!

Google
Delicious, extremely hot perfect temperature on the broth. Shrimp was a little thought but over than that everything was amazing. Loved the quiet and relaxed space. Clean dinning room and very lovely decor. Great experience and bold flavors. Definitely recommend and definitely going back for more of the menu item simple and elegant.

Google
First time trying Vietnamese food 🍲 WOW! There is such a unique flavor profile and richness I didn’t expect in chicken broth. I got the chicken pho and it came with lovely rice noodles, strips of chicken, scallions, red onion, and bone broth. On the side of the dish were fresh jalapeño slices and lime with bean sprouts. The table has nice sauces to add to the broth as well to add heat or savory profiles. The portions are generous and the temperature of the soup is perfect for a winter day. I am absolutely coming here again!

Google
Great food and the service was friendly. I had the Grilled Beef Sirlion Bahn MI. The bread was fresh and nicely toasted. The beef was flavorful and tender. One if the best I have had. It's very reasonable as well. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Construction in the lot made parking a little confusing. It didn't help that the plaza was pretty busy on this Sunday at around noon. The restaurant was also pretty busy, with most tables being occupied, but it felt very clean and modern inside. You order and pay up front at the counter, and then they give you a number and bring your food when it's ready. The beef pho only came in one size and was $14.50 when I went. It's just a tad more expensive than my go-to spot in Houston that has a larger selection of meat and bigger bowls, but with tender filet meat here, I'll take what I can get. Also, chili oil isn't on the menu or on the tables, but it costs $0.50 if you want it. My bf and I both got the BEEF PHO. He got his with only rare filet though. The slices were inconsistent: some thick, some thin. The thicker slices were better, and somehow my bf only got thin slices :( regardless of filet thickness, they were very tender and good! The meatballs were also good, but tasted very...beefy? Idk how to describe it. They were different from what I'm used to, but not bad at all. However, there were a few whole peppercorns in the meatballs that I had to spit out... All in all, it was a good enough bowl of pho. It's a smaller bowl than I'm used to, but it's a good portion with lots of meat and noodles that left me feeling very full. The side of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and lime was pretty small compared to other places I've been, but you could probably ask for more if you want. I asked for more limes with no problem.

Yelp
Pretty good quality Vietnamese food without having to stray too far from downtown Dallas. Their pho broth is flavorful and authentic. The beef pho comes with three types of meat: brisket (chín), meatballs (bò viên), and rare steak (tái) all in one. The tofu banh mi is also packed with ingredients and flavor. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Morgen S.

Yelp
lol not the best photo but the best Pho maybe in Dallas. I would say that it's too salty but then I don't use salt and everything is too salty not only that but every photo that I've had in Dallas is as salty. Their spring rolls and the peanut sauce are amazing.(ask for it without heat if you don't like heat and they will accommodate) The ambience is regular fast food restaurant with a little bit of Asian class but nothing too fancy as it is in a storefront in a strip mall. However it's clean, well maintained and the staff is lovely.

Maureen B.

Yelp
Delicious & consistent. We like the beef pho the deli special bahn mi & the shrimp spring rolls! If you haven't tried this place you should!

Maria D.

Yelp
If you're in the mood for a quick and cozy meal, this spot is worth a visit. I ordered the beef pho with just rare filet to keep things lean (no brisket or meatballs) and requested fewer noodles. It wasn't the best pho I've had in DFW, but it's a decent option when you're craving soup and don't feel like making the drive to a top-tier spot. The broth was warm and comforting, though it had a bit more fat than I'd prefer. The highlight was the service--super fast and efficient. My soup was out in two minutes, which is perfect for a cold day when you want something hot in a hurry. Not my go-to for pho, but it gets the job done!

Kady L.

Yelp
Easy service, come and go. Right when you walk in, you are at the ordering station with a huge displayed of the menu. I remember its card only and no cash. I have tried the pho before and wanted to try the BBH! Honestly it's really good. Everything has gone up in price so I think it's reasonably priced. I love coming here bc it's easy in and out. Water- you serve yourself.

Morgan-Emilee A.

Yelp
Called in an order to go and was helped quickly on the phone and food was ready within 15 minutes. I liked the way they packaged the food to go. It was easy to eat from the containers and not messy. The spring rolls were very fresh. I got beef broth to go and it was flavorful and delicious! Will be back

Marvin C.

Yelp
Very good pho and easy process for carry out. Every time I've eaten there it's always packed and the service is quick and friendly. Tofu Pho is so good for the soul.

Jina K.

Yelp
Clean establishment with a simple menu, a little steered away from traditional toppings and items but still yummy. Inside is very cute as well and great service. Would come back next time I'm in town!

Holly E.

Yelp
Solid lunch spot. They offer a Korean BBQ option for the Vermicelli noodle plate, which is awesome. And getting double the portion is relatively inexpensive. Quick, easy parking, and tasty. Kind of small place, so keep that in mind if you have a party bigger than four and if you're going right at prime lunch hour. They are closed on Mondays.

Cat N.

Yelp
Decent Vietnamese food for the area. I come here for vermicelli weigh grill meat or rice plates to fill the craving! I order take out usually so unsure about ambiance but service is always great

Kitty C.

Yelp
Meh. My first time here because I didn't want drive 10+ miles to the better Vietnamese restaurants in lunch traffic and think this is the only one in my neighborhood. I ordered the chicken vermicelli salad. The chicken breast was boiled and not grilled and not flavored - think boiled meat with no salt that they prob also use for the chicken pho. The sauce was okay but wasn't enough in my takeout. It was about 1.5tblsp so the salad was slightly bland. The egg roll that came with the dish was also okay, leaves a lot to be desired. I think tomorrow I'll drive the 15 miles out to other neighborhoods with more competition and get me some real Vietnamese food that isn't watered down. Just not worth it, but the 3 stars because although it wasn't for me, seems like a lot of non-Asians really like this place.

Jessie C.

Yelp
Usually I come here just for the pho, which in general isn't authentic but good, but today I wasn't too hungry and got their banh mi for smth on the lighter end. It was prob one of the most underwhelming banh mi I've had in a while and for $9? The flavor was def there, but there was like almost no veggies (one slice of cucumber and one piece of cilantro) or meat. The cashier and the seating area is super nice- but the actual food was mostly only bread. I'd recommend either going to garland and getting a real banh mi (which will have lots of veggies) for $5, for this business to add an ample amount of veggies to their sandwiches, or just to order only pho at this store.

Victoria H.

Yelp
I ordered the beef pho to go and I really enjoyed it. I've noticed some pho placers serve meatballs with their beef pho while others will only include brisket. This place included meatballs, so I was pleasantly surprised. I would say the broth on its own is not anything to run home about. Despite the broth being the key component to pho, I have enough ingredients on hand to make it more flavorful. I'd recommend the obvious if you get their pho to go - generous amounts of sriracha and hoisin sauce.

Crystal W.

Yelp
I definitely think this place deserves a higher rating than what it has. Been coming here for the last 3 years and I love it. I get their beef pho. The only complaint I have is it's pretty expensive... but that's Dallas for you I guess.

Taylor O.

Yelp
I got the beef pho. The meat was cooked well done like i requested. It wasnt dry it was juicy. The broth was delicous and hot when i picked up my food. I definitely would come back.

Miriam R.

Yelp
I got my food to go and ate there the first lady I asked for chili oil gave me to me the second told me it's extra no where anywhere does it say it's extra so why did I get charged idk the place is over priced it's fine but honestly disappointed 0/10 save your money not worth it

Neyat A.

Yelp
10/10 pho. I love the brisket pho the broth is delicious. I honestly can't get enough of this place. I get their summer rolls too which I love just as much. Quick and easy + nice customer service. My favorite.

Austin M.

Yelp
Excellent pho and banh mi near SMU. Such a treat to come here! Properly made Vietnamese coffee too!

Mary C.

Yelp
Cute place. We ordered Pho and Pork plate. The pho was delicious. The broth is full of flavor. We will definitely have this again. The pork plate was really good too. I just miss "broken rice", which is what i was used to when I order grilled pork. The service was okay. We will be back to try other stuff on the menu.

Anna P.

Yelp
Really good beef pho in this area of town. The broth was rich in flavor and service was also nice.

Elena Y.

Yelp
Pho was yummy and fresh as were the spring rolls! I ordered and picked up quickly - everything was packed perfectly. Price was right too - definitely worth the trip!

Gavin J.

Yelp
How do I give them more stars? Delicious! A good bowl of pho was exactly what I needed.

Toby C.

Yelp
Great food, quick service, clean dining area. Fair prices considering the cost of everything these days...Definitely recommend!!

Andrew W.

Yelp
I've only had Pho a few times, but this place is by far the best! I got the beef pho and my wife got the chicken Pho and both were great! The egg-rolls we so good we ordered more! They were very crunchy! Overall a great experience:)

Erika R.

Yelp
I've only tried their summer rolls and beef pho so far and was very impressed! Good amount of meat and so so tender too! The summer rolls were also great. Def will be coming back to this place to try their other food on the menu! The place is cute and clean and the owner is awesome!

Jayme C.

Yelp
I love the brisket pho and shrimp spring rolls from this restaurant. When I was in my 1st trimester of pregnancy and could hardly keep anything down this was my go to. The broth from the pho was super yummy and made me feel so much better. Highly recommend!!

Erica Z.

Yelp
First time here.. Tried the summer rolls and shrimp vermicelli.. Summer rolls were good, I rate them a solid 6 out of 10.. The peanut sauce had no flavor to it.. The shrimp vermicelli was a solid 9 out of 10, so delish!!

Matt C.

Yelp
The Beef Pho (we ordered the beef broth, no meat, extra noodles) was delicious. Everything tasted fresh, they gave us extra sauce (we took it to go) and the shrimp chips were so good. Reasonable prices and friendly service.

Emily R.

Yelp
Pho is amazing, egg rolls are crispy and delicious. So much flavor. Pork Banh mi was so good and pork had a lot of flavor. The rice plate was a really good size and delicious as well. Will definitely go back.

Amy Y.

Yelp
I know it may not be the most authentic but it's a good bowl of pho! I like that they have a small size now which is so perfect for lunch. Perfect for a cold day!

Lily Q.

Yelp
I love pho, and I was happy to see a pho place so close to where I work. The pho here is pretty standard with multiple meat options and a vegetarian pho option. The combo option provides you with meatballs and beef. If you're not in the mood for soup, there are also rice plate options (although I haven't personally tried them so I have no clue how good they are). Overall, this is a decent place to go for pho!

Jolene J.

Yelp
Cold nights and long drives never fail to make me crave pho and the comfort it provides. Having been in the car for 4 hours already, I did not want to go any farther than I had to or deal with the parking on Lower Greenville that is Friday night for Ngon, which is also much pricier. We found this place and was skeptical, as we have not had the best luck with pho in Dallas. We were blown away. The broth was full-bodied and deep, the vermicelli plate flavorful and refreshing (the meat on its own was a tad too salty, but perfect when paired with the vermicelli and the veggies). The quantity was also large so may be don't put in all the noodles in the soup at once, and you have yourself a second meal with fresh noodles! This is now my go-to place for pho as long as I live in the area! I can't wait to return and perhaps one day dine in again - the interior looked super cute.

Daniel P.

Yelp
First time trying Vietnamese food WOW! There is such a unique flavor profile and richness I didn't expect in chicken broth. I got the chicken pho and it came with lovely rice noodles, strips of chicken, scallions, red onion, and bone broth. On the side of the dish were fresh jalapeño slices and lime with bean sprouts. Yelp
Stopped here tonight for a quick cold weather dinner, and had a pleasant pandemic era experience: 1. Ordered beef pho and egg rolls 2. Picked it up to take home in 2-3 minutes after ordering 3. Opened it up at home, and was pleasantly surprised with volume and quantity of soup components (broth, noodles, veggies, meat) Would do it again soon, fast and tasty.

Jackie A.

Yelp
This place is more on the pricey end, BUT the love and flavor they put into the food makes it worth it! I highly recommend the Pho and the the banh mi.

Amy D.

Yelp
It was a cold day and I wasn't feeling great, so I was craving pho. I found myself in Dallas and saw the zagat awards for Pho is for Lovers and decided to stop in on a Sunday night about 7 pm. The place was packed! All of the tables were full and there was always a line for people ordering. The line went fast and many people were ordering to go. We found one of the last tables. We ordered two orders of beef pho and waited about 5 minutes for it to be delivered to the table. The pho was $10.50, about $1 or $2 more than I pay in Fort Worth, but the portion size was huge and it seemed to have more meat because of the meatballs. After a couple of spoonfuls, I was already feeling so much better and the food was making me so happy. The broth was savory and had the perfect amount of salt. I added two limes, bean sprouts, and thai basil to it and it made it even better. The meatballs in the pho looked grey and like they would have no flavor, but they were actually so good! You could taste the spices. We got a to-go container for the food we couldn't finish, which will be the perfect amount for lunch tomorrow! This was the best pho I've had, and if I find myself in Dallas again, I will make an effort to come back. I wholly recommend the beef pho! Side note: as other people have said, this restaurant is more expensive than others. For example, the Bánh mì is $7.50 here and I've seen it at other places between $4.50 and $6

Melody T.

Yelp
My first time having Pho and all I can say is WOW!!!! This place is super cute, you must sit down and eat!!!!!!! There's so many options my first visit here I just went with the most simple thing!!!! They have a regular size and a large size!!!!!! Next time I will order the large, it's so good you must want to go to sleep after Pho Is For Lovers and I am for sure In Love With Pho

Lindsay T.

Yelp
Good Banh mi and pho! My husband and I order from here everytime the other is under the weather. Banh mi is tasty and fresh every single time. I prefer the pork, but can honestly eat any thing on their menu. Pho to go is packed perfectly, with the broth/meat separated from the broth and plenty of accompaniments (basil, bean sprouts, hoisin, etc). Great service, place is always busy when I'm there it seems. They also make it really easy to order online, which is a plus.

Muhammad A.

Yelp
Food: 4.5/5 Service:5/5 Value: 4/5 As a person that has pho multiples times a month, I've been trying many of the different pho spots in the Dallas area. Being from Houston and living in Austin for college, I'm used to having really good pho. Tbh I've been disappointed with a lot of the pho spots here in Dallas. A lot of them aren't particularly bad, but they're not amazing either. Pho is for lovers is easily the best pho I've had in the Dallas area (note: haven't tried any of the Garland pho spots but hear they're really good). I'll admit the price of the pho is higher than I'd like to pay for pho, but I'm willing to pay it for this pho. The broth is some of the best I've had in a pho, and the meat is quality. The portion sizes aren't the biggest but it'll still fill you up. If you're looking for a go to pho place I would definitely recommend trying this place out.

Matkin C.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite pho restaurants in Dallas. Service is quick and the food is always outstanding. I usually get the beef pho, and my son loves the shrimp chips that are made fresh every time. Friendly staff, and a nice location off of Greenville Ave.

Michael F.

Yelp
Used to be my favorite for pho. This place is disgusting. I was the only customer at 4:30 and no one was cleaning . The salmonella growing around the drink machine is the worst. Disgusting sauce bottles dirty windows , tables and floors. I would not recommend this place any longer, unless you're up for a good case of food poisoning

Ivy J.

Yelp
This turned out okay. I live right by this location but never felt compelled to go in but I was on short time and wanted some chicken pho so I gave it a try. Food - the broth was good but lacked depth of flavor. However, that was easily rectified with their sauces. I also like a lot of lime, cilantro, green onion, etc. but they don't give you much so I had to ask for more toppings. Parking and seating are good. I would definitely return.

Jeremy H.

Yelp
I picked up a takeout order of pho. The pho itself was good, but they only give you one tiny packet of Sriracha and hoisin. It's not enough to even give it flavor. Ask for extra if your getting it to go.

Ven G.

Yelp
Best broth in town. Pho super tasty. All herbs fresh and I love the summer roll with peanut sauce.

M L.

Yelp
Good service, friendly staffs, very religiously clean, good soup, good mood, enjoy each time

Paola A.

Yelp
Can't Get Enough Of This Place I Work Close By And That Doesn't Help! This plate in particular is perfect I Also love their Pho

Emily K.

Yelp
I've only ordered from this place twice, and while it may not be the most authentic pho place out there, I have never been disappointed. I ordered their pho the first time and enjoyed that, and ordered the KBBQ Vermicelli plate the second time. It's fresh, the KBBQ beef flavor is similar to that used for galbi (kalbi), and it's takeout food that still feels relatively healthy. Would definitely come back here if you're in Dallas and don't feel like driving all the way to Plano for the more "authentic" pho places.

Ida S.

Yelp
Pho for the lovers, I think for one the name is pretty fun and intriguing! Creative marketing in my opinion. The restaurant is conveniently located in upper Greenville and I know it's a popular restaurant in the area. The restaurant had some great options but I think the new year's dieter in me wished they had veggie noodles but that may be rare to find . The soup in plentiful and definitely one I could share with someone else(personally). It's Quite large in the portions. I do like the pho but I wouldn't say it's the best pho I have ever had. The staff is kind and polite and I do love that it's a small business and I love supporting ones. I would definitely come back here if I was in need of soup or wanting a hot meal because it's close by. I do think it's worth a try if your into pho.
