Construction in the lot made parking a little confusing. It didn't help that the plaza was pretty busy on this Sunday at around noon. The restaurant was also pretty busy, with most tables being occupied, but it felt very clean and modern inside. You order and pay up front at the counter, and then they give you a number and bring your food when it's ready.
The beef pho only came in one size and was $14.50 when I went. It's just a tad more expensive than my go-to spot in Houston that has a larger selection of meat and bigger bowls, but with tender filet meat here, I'll take what I can get. Also, chili oil isn't on the menu or on the tables, but it costs $0.50 if you want it.
My bf and I both got the BEEF PHO. He got his with only rare filet though. The slices were inconsistent: some thick, some thin. The thicker slices were better, and somehow my bf only got thin slices :( regardless of filet thickness, they were very tender and good! The meatballs were also good, but tasted very...beefy? Idk how to describe it. They were different from what I'm used to, but not bad at all. However, there were a few whole peppercorns in the meatballs that I had to spit out...
All in all, it was a good enough bowl of pho. It's a smaller bowl than I'm used to, but it's a good portion with lots of meat and noodles that left me feeling very full. The side of bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and lime was pretty small compared to other places I've been, but you could probably ask for more if you want. I asked for more limes with no problem.
