Dined in for pho dac biet on a Saturday afternoon. Food: Fantatic Pho Dac Biet: broth was flavorful, meat portions were very generous. One of the best bowels of Pho in Sacramento. Grilled Spring rolls: spring rolls were also very generous in size and had flavorful meat portions. The peanut sauce was totally on point too. Vietnamese Coffee: Coffee was dark and strong, I didnt taste much condensed milk. Service: Servers take orders and bring meals pretty quick. They didnt really check in afterwards so if you needed something just go up to the register and ask. Atmosphere: welcoming and a fun experience. This place is a total find. It felt a bit out of place with the surrounding businesses but its one of the best quality noodle houses in Sac.

Staff is very friendly and fast! Food is delicious! I recommend the vegetable/vegetarian Pho with their spicy broth. I’m not vegetarian but I love tofu and this comes with it. Just add a few pumps of hoisin sauce and sriracha and it’s perfect. Their bbq pork spring rolls are very tasty as well 10/10

Google
Great spot. Laid back vibe. Combination fried rice is 🔥🔥🔥same with pork spring rolls. G10 order is my daughter's choice.

Google
Loved the pho here. My friend and I were in love with the broth they have, and their egg rolls were huge. I ordered the medium size steak and flank pho for $14.95 and it was great. Plenty of noodles, plenty of meat. I was full by the time I finished all my noodles. Definitely recommend eating here if you're in the area.

Google
The rice plate was huge, delicious. Recommended. Wonton noodles soup was ok.

Google
This place is too small to be this good! The crispy egg rolls the pork chop over rice and the pho steak w/ beef ball was delicious I’m putting this on my list!

I mainly came for the beef pho and it didn't disappoint!

Google
Food was good. Pho soup base could use a bit more seasoning, but overall, damn good food. Calamari was a m a z i n g. Big portions and delicious dipping sauce to accommodate. The jackfruit smoothie was fresh and refreshing. Thai tea tasted authentic and good. Service was immediate with consistent check ins. Employees were very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean with an aesthetic vibe. Good for families as well as friendly gatherings. This is definitely my go-to Pho restaurant from now on!

Yelp
Came in during lunch time and it was busy! We were told to sit at any empty table available and we grabbed ourselves paper menus they had at the front upon entering. This was my first time here but my mom has been here a few times before and enjoys their banh mi! I saw they had banh xeo and couldn't resist as it's one of my favorite dishes. The food came out super quick and usually at other places, banh xeo takes a lot longer. I was so hungry thought that I forgot to take photos of the food! While we were eating, someone from the City of Elk Grove came in to give the owner some sort of award plaque. The restaurant's manager accepted the reward and they took a photo. We thought this was a neat thing to witness. Not sure exactly what the award was for but happy they're being recognized! Looking forward to coming back to try some more menu items!

Yelp
A friend and I were spending a night in Elk Grove and we wanted a light dinner after a hefty lunch. Luckily Pho Ivy was nearby and we thought Pho would be perfect for this rainy weather. We were greeted by the nice staff as soon as we walked in and ordered two Dac Biets. The pho came out and it smelled delicious. The broth was simple, nothing too crazy. Very familiar smells and tastes and super warm. The star of the show was the different cuts of meats in the bowl. Each cut looked it was top tier quality and had the perfect mixture of meat and fat. Each time I dip that meat in the Siracha and Hoisin combo it was great. Solid pho with solid staff. Each and every staff came by and checked up on us every few minutes. It was comforting to see that they made sure our waters were filled and if we needed anything else. You usually don't see this much attention with a young staff but they were on point.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Pho Ivy! Their spring rolls and noodle dishes are easily the best in town. This spot used to be home to East West Café, another Vietnamese restaurant, and I'm glad to see it still serving amazing Vietnamese cuisine. The service is always warm and efficient, and the fact that it's consistently packed speaks volumes about its quality. I can't wait to try their banh mi soon--I've heard great things! I first discovered this place when my aunt brought their spring rolls to a family potluck, and I was blown away. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Solid 3 stars! Had to wait 10min on. a Saturday afternoon at 2p. Very busy restaurant, and could be slightly understaffed. The service was good and food came out quickly. We got spring rolls, pho and a rice platter. The pho was only okay - noodles were perfect but broth was only okay compared to other spots in the area. The grilled pork over rice was good, but on the saltier side. Portions were generous.

Naol T.

Yelp
Weekday Lunch Service was quick, staff pleasant, place was bustling with diners and takeout orders. Parking is easy. The spiciest BBH (bun bo hue) I have tried at any Vietnamese restaurant. Usually I would need to add jalapeños etc. for some heat but this was quite spicy on its own (beyond medium hot - my lips were burning). Plenty of meats in the bowl (pork blood cubes/cha huyet), Vietnamese pork bologna/cha lua, beef and pork slices). No pork hock (which is a plus for me).

Lauren C.

Yelp
I think this is my new favorite Vietnamese place in EG! Their short chubby spring rolls were great and the rice plates were huge with ample portions for leftovers. The grilled pork and shrimp were tasty while the pickled veggies were a great palate cleanser. Our friend got the pho and thought it was pretty good too. It was pretty crowded on a Wednesday night but we got seated quickly. We definitely will return to try more of the menu!

Hilda A.

Yelp
First time trying this place out. We needed a new Vietnamese restaurant and we saw the reviews for this spot so we decided to give it a try. We ordered two pho bowls, the short rib plate and some shrimp and pork spring rolls. Overall, portion and cost wise , everything was good. As for the flavor, we really enjoyed the pho! The spring rolls had steamed pork, and we were expecting grilled pork. Unfortunately the description doesn't specify what kind it is. Next time we'll just order the shrimp rolls. And lastly the short ribs. They were just ok, nothing great. We've had short ribs several times at different locations, and this is our least favorite. We'll be back for more pho, and ready to try other items.

Bryan L.

Yelp
Pho ivy is definitely one of my favorite pho spots in elk Grove. The spot provides bang for your buck with quality and quantity for one of the more affordable prices for a bowl of in the area. Plenty of parking and customer service was great even when coming towards closing I felt like there was no judgment or a rush to get you out , which are greatly appreciated. Even the customer base had many different ethnicities. If you haven't been here before, I would definitely recommend stopping by.

Ally C.

Yelp
Great location, great food, great service and good portion of meal. Calamari is the bomb! Chicken sautéed with vegetables is awesome! I was doubting the calamari in the beginning but I tried it anyway, it's awesome taste and very crunchy. Make sure bring your appetite when you munch here cause it's too much for one person. Ambiance is great!

Chrisy H.

Yelp
Met my girlfriends for lunch and everything was delicious. We met at noon and by the time we left the place was packed and there was a line out the door. Plenty of room for lots of tables, clean, and comfortable.

Krystal W.

Yelp
The pho here is solid. I had the combination pho here many times and I've always enjoyed it. Highlight is that the herbs and bean sprouts were so fresh! The herbs compliment the pho so well. You can never go wrong with eating at this place.

Nichole O.

Yelp
Maybe the best pho in the area. Personally, I don't like to have a broth where I have to add all of the fixings and this was it! Broth was sweet and flavorful and all I had add was sriracha because I do like a bit of spiciness and tang. The portions are big here and the soup came out piping hot, even though we showed up last minute. Good noodles, they use the skinnier pho ones. They only have us jalapeños, bean sprouts, basil and like for garnishes. Egg rolls were yummy and I like the shape of these compared to the shorter and thicker ones. Service was good and they got us in quick despite there being a table in front of us. Plenty of parking and so easy to locate. Definite a must-try.

Lo V.

Yelp
BEST of the best PHO!! Everything is so well prepared and presented! We have tried the pho, the wonton, pork chop plate, the banh mi's, and the egg rolls with veggies. Everything is excellent!! The place is super clean and plenty of seating. The service is amazing, all the servers are super nice. This place is a true Gem!

Koy S.

Yelp
Service and food was amazing. My favorite also for their soup menu is the bun Bo hue. Quality of food is top 5. My must go to when in need of soup.

Victoria E.

Yelp
Ate here for lunch and it was so good! The service was fast and friendly. The setting fun and relaxed- it is family aka kid friendly for sitting and noise level. My kids age 12 & 14 loved it. I saw other fans with smaller children and it was fine. If you want some good food come here.

Genavieve T.

Yelp
Pho-Ivy is one of my go to pho places in Elk Grove because it is so close to everything. I especially like this restaurant because checks can be paid separately from person to person, making it easier to eat out with friends. I also love the dim lighting at night, it gives the restaurant a cozy feel!

Kelli V.

Yelp
This place is sooooo good. Definitely order their other dishes besides the pho because it's just as good if not better! The service is great! You guys have to check them out. Top notch! This place is great for small and large groups. So good, I are before my phone can.

Rex A.

Yelp
If I'm in the Elk Grove area this is my Vietnamese spot to go to for Pho with a big group. Egg rolls are excellent and the B5 is my go to Pho 10 out of 10.

Nana N.

Yelp
They open at 10:00am which is a plus in my book when all other places to eat in Elk Grove opens one hour later. Service is great and the employees have friendly smiles and very accommodating. They provide everything I need for my young son (scissors, napkins, plastic utensils, child cup, etc.) and food comes out quick and hot. Will definitely return.

Yelp
I wasn't expecting much when I walked into Pho Ivy because I didn't think it was possible to get good Vietnamese food outside of OC or San Jose but I was proven wrong. Came on a Tuesday around 3:30PM and it wasn't busy and the staff was quick to take care of us. The only thing that I felt off was that there wasn't any music playing so it did feel a little awkward at first. However, the moment you walk in and get a whiff of the aromas coming from the kitchen, you know you're in good hands. Was looking for a lighter meal and had to resist the urge to get Pho or Bun Bo Hue. I ended up ordering the Bun Nem Nướng Chả Ram which is a vermicelli dish with charbroiled pork with fried egg roll wrappers. The portion was HUGE and I was surprised that I had a hard time finishing the bowl. The pork was super flavorful which paired very nicely with the veggies and their banger fish sauce. My only complaint is that based on the texture of the vermicelli noodles I could tell that they probably prepped a big batch ahead of time to save time because it came out super fast and it was a little dry. I also shared the Salt and Pepper Calamari with my coworker but this was average at best. I wasn't a fan of it and would suggest getting a different appetizer. In conclusion, if I ever come back to Elk Grove I would definitely add Pho Ivy into my rotation because the food is great, portions are good, staff is nice, and prices are dirt cheap in my opinion.

Ricardo C.

Yelp
The food was delicious we went for dinner on a Friday and the place gets packed that is a good sign that the food is good we ask for the combination #1 with extra meat also the spring rolls and fried calamari all was super plus the price was very affordable we will keep coming back almost forget the service was really good

Wayne B.

Yelp
Pho here has a gracious amount of MSG not really good. Their topping portion is not a lot so don't expect a large pho with enough toppings. They will give you more noodles than topping. Service not great they forget a few orders and charge you for that if you don't say anything. So please don't forget what you order so you don't get extra charge. Pho 2/5 Spring roll 1/5 "horrible rolls" especially when you told them your allergic to peanut and they still bring out the peanut sauce LOL

Rachel K.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for good pho. I was in the area for meetings and with the rainy weather pho sounded perfect- but it always sounds perfect to me. I typically prefer to enjoy pho at the restaurant as a dine in experience, but I had too much on my schedule to sit and enjoy. I opted for take out and ordered the combination pho, shrimp and pork spring rolls and Thai tea. I sat outside while they worked on my order and right when I was about to check in a nice staff member brought out my order. It was perfect timing as it just started raining. I drove home and unpacked my meal. They only sell their pho in a large size for to go orders and the portion was very generous. They filled the to go soup container with broth and there was a very generous amount of rice noodles and meats in the other container. The spring rolls were also pretty fat and I loved the peanut sauce that came with them. The Thai tea wasn't my favorite, but that wasn't a big deal. I ended up having the spring rolls and some pho for lunch, more of the pho for dinner and I still have a bit leftover. If I was in the area I would definitely stop in again and I'd love to try the dine in experience.

Yelp
Came here around 1 ish on saturday and it was pretty crowded but some tables were empty jus needed to be cleaned. We got seated shortly after they cleared the table. Been here a couple times, this time i wanted to try their grilled pork vermicelli. It came out pretty quickly ngl. Overall it was good. I think it was about 13 for the grilled pork vermicelli and a dollar extra for egg roll which is a good deal. I asked for extra sauce and they gave it right away lol. It was honestly good, decent portions and they give a TON of meat, honestly too much meat compared to the noodles lol. I would honestly like more of the pickled raddish and carrots but it was still good. They have good Bun Bo Hue too, i got it but subbed out the pork blood for brisket and it was a ton of meat as well lol. Service is alright lol, they arent the friendliest but arent mean so its good. Solid local vietnamese place!!

Michelle L.

Yelp
Second time in, walk-in order for takeout on a Saturday lunchtime around 12ish PM. I was third in line at the counter upon arrival, and it took about 25 minutes before I could put my order in. I forget how long the remaining wait time was to get the actual food. The amount of dine-in customers was pretty full up, also outside on the patio tables. While waiting for my order, I sat at one of the 2-person tables that hadn't yet been cleared off, otherwise standing room only near the entrance. Haven't tried calling ahead or ordering online, if that would be faster. Got the E1 Grilled Pork over vermicelli rice noodles (Bun thit nuong, $12.95) and the Large B1 Combination Pho rice noodle soup (Pho dac biet, $14.75) which comes with rare steak, beef ball, fatty brisket, flank, tripe and tendon. The large combo pho was truly a large portion, enough to share/split between two people in large bowls. The jalapenos are super spicy. There were plenty of beef balls, tripe, and pieces of beef to go around, beansprouts and basil leaves, sriracha and hoisin sauce and lime wedges provided too. The grilled pork has a sweeter marinade and fish sauce, also a good portion. The peanuts are halves rather than chopped, which we remedied at home ourselves. After reading other reviews, their specialty is the D1 Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (Bun bo hue, $13.75) so I might try that next time!

Yelp
Pho Ivy is always our go to pho spot. Their pho broth and meat are always perfect and my partner loves their Korean short ribs. This time, we ordered their crispy egg rolls it came with a side of vegetables and nuoc cham, this was really good. I also ordered salt and pepper spare ribs and it was okay. It's a hit or miss when they're packed but most of the time you get seated right away. Their service is great especially when we ask for information on the menu!

Jailyn C.

Yelp
This is my chosen spot for great Vietnamese food. Service is wonderful and the food is consistently great. I always choose this place to bring friends and family and everyone loves it!!

MN S.

Yelp
Yummy!!!!!!! Amazing service and delicious food !!!! Can't wait to go back. Walked over for lunch with a few coworkers and we all loved our food

Mari W.

Yelp
Fast serving, fresh and hot! I tried their rare & flank steak. Super flavorful beef broth I didn't need any hoisin or siracha to help at all. And I love their shrimp and veggie spring rolls

K R.

Yelp
My go to pho in Elk Grove as of recent. The broth is hearty and very flavorful. I always get the combo (B1). The banh mi is a good sized portion for the price. Place is always busy so they must be doing something right. Quick service at the restaurant and for to go orders.

Lisa V.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious. Ate there 3 times during my business trip. Pho was huge and delicious. Bahn Mi-outstanding. I also had an excellent chicken and rice dish. Food came out quickly, servers were great, and the overall ambience was just what I was looking for during a business trip.

Jaclyn M.

Yelp
Hungry when it's really hot out? Eat pho! Haha S E R V I C E: Typical pho restaurant - easily get seated and order from their extensive menu! Our meals were served in a timely manner and they made sure our to-go order was still very mark for us! F O O D: Best pho broth in a chicken soup I've had in awhile! I also ordered their chicken banh mi sandwich, and it was SO moist and flavorful! I'm so used to hurting my teeth eating a banh mi since the bread is usually so hard - but these are the best I've had so far! Don't forget to order their soda lemonade - I wished it was bottomless :) O V E R A L L: My mom and I were very impressed with this place. I can't wait to come back!

Jean J.

Yelp
We took our friend here for dinner tonight. Service was quick for a holiday (Presidents Day). We ordered fried chicken wings, Korean short rib rice plate, combo pho, and spicy beef soup noodle. Everything was delicious and fresh. The servicing portion of the Korean short rib rice plate was large: well worth the price. We come here on a weekly basis and it is our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Elk Grove!

Susanna L.

Yelp
Pho Ivy is fairly new pho restaurant located in Elk Grove; however, don't let its short history fool you, Pho Ivy delivers flavorful Vietnamese cuisine to anyone with a hungry stomach. Pho Ivy prides itself in its use of spices including sumac, tumeric, cumin, and za'atar to elevate the flavor and taste of their food. Their menu includes a variety of noodle soup dishes with both rice and egg noodle options, which I have found is somewhat unique as not all restaurants will offer egg noodle options as well. They also have a selection of banh mi and rice plates if you're looking for something different to try. They offer both dine-in and take-out options; however, keep in mind if you'd like to take their pho to-go you can only order their large size (not that that should dissuade you, once you get a taste of their food you'll want to order their large size). Upon entering you can order either at the counter before taking a seat, or at your table, whichever is easier for you. We elected to order at the counter, and then find our seats. Recently, I've been a chicken pho fiend after I tried a friend's homemade recipe, which immediately led me to questioning all my life decisions and wondering why I hadn't tried chicken pho previously - which then led me to sample the chicken pho here. As much as I enjoy the beef-based broth more commonly featured in pho, there's something about the lighter, yet equally complex, flavor of chicken that drew me in, and has since held me in its grip since then (I suspect it may be possible that the lighter broth doesn't make me as full as quickly, so I'm able to eat more noodles, which is a win in my book). I'm happy to report back that their chicken pho is absolutely delectable and I would definitely go back for it. That being said, their beef-based pho is equally as good, so you really can't go wrong with any of their pho offerings here. If you're looking for Vietnamese cuisine in the Elk Grove area, then I highly recommend giving Pho Ivy a try!

Nicole W.

Yelp
It was raining and we always love getting pho on a rainy day. We came in around dinner time and they were super busy but we got seated in less than 5 minutes. The staff was very kind. We ordered 2 chicken pho and a rare steak pho. The portions were a little smaller than we've gotten at other places however the quality was amazing. They put a TON of veggies in the pho which we love. We will definitely come back and venture out to try their others dishes which looked just as amazing.

Eric C.

Yelp
ngl i forgot what i ordered lmao. think it was bun thit nuong. it was pretty good. fish sauce was nicely sweet and sour. peanuts and the fried egg roll wrapper thing added a nice crunchiness n crispiness. the cucumbers tho i gotta say were a lil soft. and the meat was a lil weird. it was red which i ain't ever seen before w a bun thit nuong. but it wasn't bad. it just had a kind of chunky spam texture but still tasted like pork. not bad doe. ma dukes ordered some salt n pepper tofu n ngl that shi was ahh. it was really greasy and it wasn't even salt n pepper tofu. more j like pepper tofu. really just flavorless ngl. not worth damn near 11 bucks imo. wouldn't get that shi again. would get the bun thit nuong again tho tbh. its p solid. service was pretty good too. overall decent place to me

Arlynne D.

Yelp
When I walked in the door I was greeted and told to find any seat. I sat where I could watch the football game. I ordered the beef ball soup and the server informed me that it came with rice noodles. When I received my order, the server asked if I needed anything else. I ordered a cafe su da and she asked if that was a Vietnamese iced coffee since she didn't speak Vietnamese. I confirmed. The broth was full of flavor before I added the plum and siracha sauces. The server came and asked how everything was as she filled my water cup without me having to ask. I was well satisfied with the service, food and ambiance. Having a TV with the game on was awesome. Prompt and courteous service was also another reason why I keep coming back. Kudos to the service team and awesome management for training your servers correctly.

Sarah T.

Yelp
Pho Ivy is my go to spot for pho in Elk Grove! The menu is really simple and the pho is delicious at a very reasonable price. Today, I got the rare steak and tripe beef pho. The soup is super hearty and tasty with the perfect level of saltiness. It just warms me up on a cold day. The steak was perfectly cooked after I submerged it in the soup for a few minutes - super tender. I love tripe and this tripe was really good. The service is not super attentive but the interior is super clean. Overall, will be coming back for more :)

Betsaida C.

Yelp
I'm so happy I've found a good viet place. I ordered their Vietnamese pancake; which was delicious and not pictured LMAO. Then I had their wonton soup and that was tasty as well with their barbecue pork. I think I ordered it wrong because there was no noodles in it but next time I'll order it with noodles. My cousin had the PHO and that was delicious as well. Their service was speedy and very accommodating. And the ambiance was chill and cozy. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of their menu.

Ayaa O.

Yelp
Ordered the Grilled Korean Short Rib Over Rice Plate and it was pretty good! Their chili oils and sauces are really good and pair well with all the food! The portions are a good size, I had a lot of leftovers. The service was super quick and staff kept checking up on us. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is okay, it feels a bit dim and outdated. It doesn't feel super clean but the food makes up for it.

Carmela R.

Yelp
I have been coming here this year since we tried it at my last job. This place is so incredible! They're in an unassuming location but they're always packed on weekends. There's a reason for this. Everything I've tried here has been amazing! I love the Banh Xeo so much. This is my go to dish at any spot that offers it. This one is so much food, always well cooked, and the veg is always piled in. My brother usually tries the rice plates which never disappoint. On top of all of this they always manage to be friendly and quick to help every customer in there. If you're craving Vietnamese food please give this place a try. These guys deserve to thrive for many years to come if this is the quality of product they continue to produce.

Monica V.

Yelp
Vietnamese food is one of my favorites. I ordered pork fresh salad rolls and fish ball noodle soup. I was disappointed in the salad rolls. I took out the pork because it was very tough and had no flavor. The soup was fine. Nothing to get excited about. The waiter was very nice. I asked for extra vegetables in my soup and he made it happen. No one came by to refill my water glass. I had to ask someone for help. The restaurant is casual. It had two big screen tv's and they had nice music playing. I do not think I will return.

Melissa G.

Yelp
Although this is the only place I have eaten Pho at, I love it here! I have dined in person once and gotten takeout plenty of times and I can say the serving size is perfect! I typically get the steak Pho which is delicious. The customer service is great and eating in/out is pretty quick!

Carmela D.

Yelp
Strawberry Milk Shake : 0/5 - Lacks sweetness and strawberry flavor, taste too much of ice and watered down. Combo Pho : 4/5 - The broth itself is bit on the sweeter side but that can be easily adjusted. Their large size portion is huge, I couldn't finish my pho. The sliced beef and tendon are tender- so that's a plus. Salt & Pepper Calamari : 0/5 - Calamari was heavily breaded. It was hard to bite down and the texture of the calamari was like chewing rubber. It was over cooked. Wouldn't suggest it. Grilled Pork Spring Roll: 3.5/5 - would like a little bit more meat in there but the taste was typical like most Vietnamese resturants. The peanut sauce tasted more on the hoisin sauce side than peanut sauce. Grilled Pork Banh Mi combo : 4/5 - gives out the perfect amount of protein and veggies and their fries are crispy.

Fidel E.

Yelp
The Pho is very good and flavorful. I also like their vermicelli with chicken or pork. Their fried imperial rolls are very good as well as their pork and shrimp rolls. The ingredients are fresh and well prepared. They have something interesting on the big screen televisions. The service is very good. They made sure our table and our chairs are cleaned and dis

Vivian L.

Yelp
I enjoyed the food here. The pho broth was tasty and the grilled meat for the rice plate was really good. They forgot to include the egg roll with the rice plate, but were quick to remedy it. The service is average with one person taking the orders. I might come back again for their rice plate dish.

Thuy L.

Yelp
The broth for the Bun Bo Hue was delicious. There was plenty of parking, and the customer service was excellent.

Ann K.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Large portions. I ordered the shrimp and veggie fresh rolls and Vietnamese crepe. The best!!

Mark Papalia B.

Yelp
Food was delicious,Tasty and well worth it for the price and portion that was given . Service was great along with a clean area .
