Phở Khôi Hói

Pho is a comfort food for the soul. Went to this restaurant twice during the same trip. Happened to stumble across this restaurant which was quite near the hotel I was staying and it turns out to be a Michelin star pho place. The soup was flavourful and beefy but yet clean tasting, the noodles were smooth and had its own mild flavour. I would skip Pho Loi or beef muscles in general, too chewy and tough. I will recommend getting the raw cut of the other parts of the beef ie. Flank. Will definitely come back to Hanoi for this again.

Best bowl of pho I had in Hanoi. Real beefy flavour from the broth and all the little additions to flavour it to your heart's content. A little more expensive than some of the other offerings but with it imo and you can choose between quite a few different cuts of beef.

If we could give them six stars, we’d love to give them seven stars because it’s the best pho we’ve ever eaten in our lives. We had it first day and came back again in the last day of our trip. It saved our soul. The service was quick and easy, even though they didn’t speak much English but they were still quite friendly. Top 1 pho in Hanoi!!!

I went there for dinner with my wife. They were recommended by one of my day trip guides. We didn't know this shop was Michelin selected shop before we went there. As we walked close to the shop, I can smell of the soup stock. If you are looking for a good quality Vietnamese Pho, this will be the one. Their Pho was the best so far in my trip. They are not a well decorated restaurant but provided a simple best quality Pho. We will go there again after my side trip to Halong Bay.

Pho Khoi Hoi = Pho Chuyen Bo Pho Khoi Hoi = Pho Chuyen Bo I thought I couldn’t find it, but I realize they must be the same shop. I didn’t expect much as they are nearby my hostel, later only I found it is Michelin, these days Michelin seems everywhere. I order a bowl of beef, and Quay (the fried fritter) it is very happy to see and taste and swallow. I maybe hungry, or just relief I was able to see English menu. Either way, I am not disappointed, the hot soup, with a pinch of lime, taste so fresh on my palette. The Quay soak into the soap, ooo-lala. I must be so happy eating the sound I made and the smile on my face made the staff laugh at me a little. The price came 55k VND (2025) I cannot complain and I walked away with a happy stomach.

Had this saved for our Hanoi trip and it did not disappoint! Come to experience an authentic pho in Hanoi. It was filled with locals and the price point was great. Expect to pay first (cash only) before getting your food served. Add some black pepper found on the tables to elevate the soup even more.

This was my first trip to Hanoi, and I found this restaurant through recommendations from travelers on TikTok. It’s one of the city’s most famous "phở" places, even recognized with a Michelin star. I was really impressed by both the flavor and the attentive service here. I’ll definitely come back with my friends the next time I visit Hanoi.

Great food. Ordered Beef noodle pho & basket of rice bread rolls. Very authentic & traditional & we weren’t disappointed. Could eat this here everyday. Server spoke good english & very accommodating.
