I recently visited Pho King, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the beef pho, and the portion size was huge definitely enough for two people to share, especially if you’d like to try some snacks on the side. The broth was rich, flavorful, and well-seasoned, which really surprised me considering how mild some dishes in the Netherlands can be. The noodles were soft and satisfying, and the spices gave the soup a deep, authentic taste.
The only thing I didn’t love was the texture of the meatballs they were a bit chewy, possibly overcooked but overall, the dish was still delicious. The restaurant’s interior deserves a mention too; the décor and table setup instantly transport you to Vietnam or somewhere in Southeast Asia. It feels cozy, warm, and intimate perfect for both casual outings with friends or even a nice date.
The staff were incredibly kind and understanding, and they even packed up my leftovers so I could take them home. While the prices are slightly on the higher side (around €18 for a bowl of pho), the quality and portion size make it worthwhile especially if you share. I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit.
