Google
A tiny spot located in an alley. Only a few tables inside. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Really really good. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars because their bathroom had no sink. Not sure if the Netherlands has a health board, but can’t imagine they would approve. Hoping the cooks have somewhere to wash up!

Google
Best Pho in Holland, tastes just like how I had it in Vietnam. The beef was really tasty and the broth was flavourful. My friend and i had a lot of fun enjoying the music and atmosphere in here, the workers are friendly and wait isn’t too long. definitely worth trying

Google
I recently visited Pho King, and it truly exceeded my expectations. I ordered the beef pho, and the portion size was huge definitely enough for two people to share, especially if you’d like to try some snacks on the side. The broth was rich, flavorful, and well-seasoned, which really surprised me considering how mild some dishes in the Netherlands can be. The noodles were soft and satisfying, and the spices gave the soup a deep, authentic taste. The only thing I didn’t love was the texture of the meatballs they were a bit chewy, possibly overcooked but overall, the dish was still delicious. The restaurant’s interior deserves a mention too; the décor and table setup instantly transport you to Vietnam or somewhere in Southeast Asia. It feels cozy, warm, and intimate perfect for both casual outings with friends or even a nice date. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding, and they even packed up my leftovers so I could take them home. While the prices are slightly on the higher side (around €18 for a bowl of pho), the quality and portion size make it worthwhile especially if you share. I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit.

Google
Best place for hangover treatment 👌 Rich broth, super authentic taste. Place itself is super small, expect 6 people waiting in line to be seated, while most of the tables haven't been served food yet. And yet, one feels rewarded with the first slurp. The only reason I would not like you to come - not to take the sit that potentially could be mine. From the bottom of the bowl - thank you. And for owners: please take a look at the place that could accommodate more guests 😅 Though, there's a charm to it being so busy.

Google
What an experience! After a long cold rainy day, I went to this place with a friend and it definitely didn’t disappoint. 18€ per a bowl of pho is a but expensive but it’s Amsterdam. It was very very good. Definitely hit the spot. Also tried their egg rolls but they weren’t as good as i expected. would still go back for pho.

Google
Best pho in Amsterdam! Very small business, 3 cooks who double as servers and probably owners. We ordered, sat down and got pur food within 10 minutes. The soup was perfect. Unfortunately we did not get to try their ricepaper rolls as they were out of them😔 but still 10/10, would recommend!

Google
This place is such a hidden gem. We stumbled across it, and decided to try it. We’ve never had Pho like this. It’s so good, authentic food. Good service. There was a little bit of a queue, but went down quickly and we didn’t mind. We had Beef pho €18 each which isn’t bad at all, good size portions. Can’t wait to come back again!

Google
Pho King is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to. Their pho is incredibly flavorful and comforting — rich broth, tender meat, and fresh herbs. The rice paper spring rolls are also a must-try, so fresh and packed with taste. I’ve tried many pho places before, but nothing compares to the quality and flavor here. Highly recommended!

Yelp
For me, the most important part of pho is the broth, and the broth here is impeccable! Out of all of the pho places I've tried in the Netherlands, this is currently my favorite so far, even if it's a bit on the pricier side. If you've never tried pho, I recommend squeezing in some lime juice and mixing in some sriracha sauce directly into the soup. Also, don't eat directly from the bowl. Instead, load up your super large spoon with some noodles, a piece of meat, and a bit of vegetables. Submerge that into the broth, then top it off with a pea sized dollop of hoisin sauce. Now you're ready to shove that spoon packed full of flavors into your mouth!! Not only is it super delicious, but having to repeat this meticulous process will help you pace your meal, leading to healthier digestion. Word of warning: There's only 3 tables for two and a 4-seater countertop inside, so absolutely make sure to come right at opening time or prepare for a potentially long wait. The funniest thing is they had hardstyle house blasting the entire time. For a Sunday afternoon, it felt so surreal. 10/10, would club here, again.

Yelp
This phó was amazing on a call Amsterdam day. It was very warming and delicious! Big portions for the phó and it comes out relatively quick. I wouldn't expect good phó in Amsterdam however they proved me wrong!

Yelp
This spot was great! We were visiting Amsterdam and were craving some Asian food, and pho felt like the right thing on a cold rainy day. When we walked in you could immediately tell it was legit - the small crowded mini tables, gigantic pot of broth boiling in the back, and atmosphere that reminded me of what it's like in Asia. We were lucky to get there earlier and get seated, but a lot of people came after and some had to sit outside. We got the pho dac biet and pork spring rolls - both were great! The broth of the pho was rich and flavorful, and it had plenty of veggies within. I also enjoyed the spring rolls a lot - the pork was really flavorful, spring roll skin was fresh and chewy, and the abundance of veggies was fantastic. I did end up leaving the restaurant with my clothes smelling like pho for a couple days which was the only downside..haha. Nonetheless, I would recommend this spot if you're looking for something yummy and comforting!

Yelp
Noodle and broth are both good. A great pick in Armstrong if you would like to eat something warm in a cold and wet weather.

Allan F.

Yelp
Well, it was pho-king bad...broth was a bit on the bland side, but the fried egg rolls and dumplings sampler were okay. Service was okay and relatively fast. But lots of smoke from pot filled the air from adjacent outdoor dining places in the alleyway where the restaurant is located...not much you can about that though, being in Amsterdam after all

Yelp
It's delicious and basic. Nothing fancy - not cheap either. Friendly people there despite working in a super hot kitchen. No indoor seating - or very limited - so sitting outside on little stools and tables. Mostly Dutch customers when I was there. My friend tells me this is the best Pho in Amsterdam. Great if you're going to a movie at the theaters nearby or heading to a night at the bars. I imagine also great after the bars. Although not cheap - huge portions.

Yelp
My brother and I were looking for some comfort food after a long day of walking around the city. We found Pho King, because it was close to where we were. Pho king was tucked away in an alley, almost like a speakeasy cafe. The interior was quaint with small space for folks to eat, and a few cafe tables outdoors. We were lucky enough to grab a seat after ordering. The food definitely hit the spot and the wait wasn't too long despite the crowd. It was definitely worth a stop if you're looking for some Pho in Amsterdam.

Steve C.

Yelp
Wife got a cold as we're traveling and back home (So Cal) when we feel run down a good bowl of Pho' always helps. This was probably the best bowl of Pho' I've ever had. Deep flavor, tender meat, and tasty meatballs! Don't hesitate grab a seat outside and enjoy.

Yelp
Average pho tiny place very dirty. The bathroom is very small they have no sink to wash your hands. Unsanitary from utensils to the condiments bottles and everything else I am surprised that the sanitation district did not close down this place
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
Not sure why the reviews were so high. It was average in terms of taste. Price was definitely on the higher end. Food: = Dac biet pho: I've never had a dac biet with chicken or ground meat in it. Flavors were good but not the typical miss of meats. Didn't have tendon or other good stuff. = Spring rolls: good but average

Yelp
Yummy! I ate at another pho spot in Amsterdam yesterday and was severely skimped on in regards to beef/noodle to soup ratio. I had then grasped that, maybe, I shouldn't expect quality asian food in Europe. That it'd be overpriced and not as good or fulfilling as asian food found in Asia or big cities like NYC. But this place is nice(r) widdit. You won't get pho[full xD] off a bowl of Dac Biet like you would in New York, but compared to other pho spots, the portions are nicer here. Food tastes gud too.hmm yeh I'd come here again
google avatar

Jess D.

Yelp
We stumbled across this GEM of a restaurant our first night in town. We were cold and tired from a long day of travel, and their pho and summer roll provided the comfort food we were looking for. This is highly recommended.

Jordyn M.

Yelp
Great food and great portions. Coming from Seattle where I've experienced phenomenal Vietnamese cuisine, this exceeded my expectations

Yelp
I just got in from my travels and really needed a hot bowl of noods and they delivered! I want to thank the staff their for being so accommodating. They were cleaning up tables outside around 10pm and I asked if they were still open because I had no clue what time they closed. They were all ehhhhh uhhh sorta but if want to eat in it had to be fast so I declined but were very convincing in telling me that this is the best and most authentic. They would open tomorrow at noon and I was a few sad steps from finding my next destination. But one of the workers hooked me in my offering me to taste it so in I went and the other staff asked if I was sure I didn't want to eat so I accepted and I'm so glad I did. It was good competition for the pho I have from mom and pop shops in NYC and Buffalo. Anyways, now for the good part. 13.50€ later, I had a nice steaming bowl of RICH rich rich soup, noods, beef balls, brisket, raw beef, red onions, cilantro, red Thai chilis and bean sprouts. The portion was a little tiny for the price but was worth it in quality of products. It had a kick, but not too spicy. Tasted "salty" but was just so rich with flavor and beef fat and I still felt the goodness in my mouth when I got home. I felt bad so I gobbled it up fast. One thing I did not appreciate was one of the ladies working behind the counter said, rather loud in a tiny place, "the Chinese girl just walked in." (And then was grilling me as I was paying). That is why I specifically asked before I entered if you were open or not. If you did not want to serve me while you were cleaning up, just say no and I would've came back tomorrow anyway. But I appreciate the other two workers who were joking with me and made sure I had the best meal possible.

Akouvi A.

Yelp
Whilst visiting Amsterdam me and my boyfriend decided to eat here because we enjoy the cuisine. To say this restaurant had the best Pho broth we have ever eaten is an understatement. The portion sizes were amazing and they were happy to accomodate my need for extra spice!! customer service was also amazing at this location. The owner was very friendly and engaged in conversation with us, he was very attentive when we placed our order and checked the food was good. We will definitely be back for more!!

Patcharee L.

Yelp
Service is terrible and the pho was just ok. The broth was not flavorful. Would not recommend or go back

M M.

Yelp
The service is very bad .. the bathroom is very small and dirty, no place to wash your hand. The foods so so, nothing special.. do not recommend.

Erica H.

Yelp
Delicious pho! This place is tiny and doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you ... the food is excellent. The hours on Yelp are wrong (submitted a correction) but they don't open until at least noon, maybe closer to 12:30. Do yourself a favor and go here and order the pho.
google avatar

Ashleigh S.

Yelp
The broth was literally out of this world, the flavors were absolutely great, as well as the customer service. Could have used a tad more meat though but I would return.
google avatar

Leung T.

Yelp
The place has the same owners (I asked them) but the new name is Phó King. We had the Pho King (1) and beef pho (2) plus some rice roles. All very good and he proprietor was friendly. It's a little cramped with only 4-5 small tables inside plus a counter and 3 tables outside. The place is in an alley off Regulierbreestraat. Oh. Cash only.

Alvin W.

Yelp
Needed a bowl of pho on a cold rainy night in Amsterdam. This place was around the corner from my hotel. Waited 20 mins on a Thursday night, only 8 seats inside the place plus another eight outside. Overall , it hit the spot and the broth was spot on. I would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Emily F.

Yelp
This is by far the best pho we've had. Slight differences like a wider noodle and cilantro. Amazing broth. Had the chicken hala spring rolls and they were also very good. This place is very small, only about 3 tables. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jessica E.

Yelp
Craving Viet food as I was traveling from the US. Super small hole in the wall place. It is mostly for take out but there are a few seats available. Best pho ever!! We ordered the dac biet, there's alot of meat, broth is so flavorful and hot, owners are so nice and friendly. The pho is piping hot and definitely worth the stop. After walking about 20 minutes in 3 degree weather, it was worth it. Highly recommend!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
A dandy bowl of noodles. Broth so good it brings you back to college hangover mornings with Asian food salvation. This was a highly welcomed dinner amongst the dusk and water lined alleyway. The scene was perfection with the post dinner coffee shop digestif next door in the alley. It's Pho King with every visit to Amsterdam!
google avatar

Lorenzo M.

Yelp
It's not authentic Vietnamese pho but tastes ok. A little greasy compared to traditional pho
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
Excellent Pho! I walked two miles to get here, and the bowl was worth every step. I highly recommend this quaint small Pho shop. The service was jovial and friendly.
google avatar

Eugene L.

Yelp
I am from Southern California with many Pho restaurants Around where I live, after 2 days of traveling in Amsterdam cold weather and a few Western meals I long for a good hot soup of pho I am very glad I did, this is a very good pho place, even better than many of the pho restaurants in LA area, And it turned out to be the best meal we had in Amsterdam
google avatar

Vu K.

Yelp
The service was very pleasant and the owner was very friendly! Foods was amazing and coffee was excellent! If lived closer we would come every days.

Jennie K.

Yelp
The broth of their pho is so goooooooddd!!! So many spices! I can taste every bit of everything that was put into the broth. It was perfect. The meat was also very tender and melts in your mouth. The bowl of noodles and the amount of meat that you get is just right! Absolutely delicious, best pho I've ever had, hands down. Pho king good. ;)

Yelp
This place was EXCELLENT. It's tucked in a little alley street not far from the flower market. It's teeny tiny, with limited seating inside, and slightly more seating outside. It's a pretty no frills place. Order inside, and they deliver to your table. Hubs and I both ordered the Pho Tai (rare beef), which was outstanding and really hit the spot, as we were seated outside on a cold day! We would most definitely come here again if in the neighborhood!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Good soup for a nice cold day. Prices are expensive for the portion but since it's the only one in the area it's to be expected. The shop is small so getting around is tight. It's cash only so that's also inconvenient.
google avatar

Yelp
Our first stop for pho in Amsterdam. The reviewers were correct, this is the best Pho I've had in Amsterdam during my trip. The place is small which sucks, but it was worth the wait outside in the cold for. I usually don't eat pho without the condiments, but for this pho, I didn't need too. Definitely go here, trust me I know what good food taste like.

Samantha B.

Yelp
EMPLOYEES TOUCH/PREPARE THE FOOD WITH DIRTY HANDS.. read more if you have time.. You can see the food being prepared and this is what I saw.. One employee was preparing bowls of food with one hand while texting on his (most likely germ filled) phone with the other hand. Then touching the insides of the bowls where the broth touches and the toppings with the phone hand. The other employee opened a drawer to refill the cilantro and pulled out a grocery bag. She was using her bare hands to touch the cilantro and put it straight into the containers they serve out of. Dirty hands and unwashed produce. The third employee was using her laptop where the food was being prepared with headphones in not acknowledging any customers. After I saw how unsanitary the preparation was & before they began to prepare our dishes, I stood up and said "excuse me but we're just going to leave... and then told the man what I saw and that it grossed me out.." He asked if I've seen their great reviews and said it's my choice and I should just go eat at McDonald's then..

Yelp
Best Phoking Pho in all of the AmsterDAMN! If you want your taste buds to explode come here and get Phocked up on another level!
google avatar

Oanh P.

Yelp
Good bow of Pho in the cold and wet day in Amsterdam is what you need! Trust me!
google avatar

Chu Z.

Yelp
Very good pho . Fresh and good quality for the price . I also ordered the chicken wings , they were just so so .
google avatar

WanderBeard R.

Yelp
A gem in Amsterdam! The location is small and intimate, but it only adds to the vibe. Really the king of Pho! I'll be coming back

Wade R.

Yelp
As stated in other reviews, it is a small place. However, it is well worth it. Outstanding customer service, food and atmosphere. If you are in the mood for pho, come here.

Summer K.

Yelp
Food was great! And everyone was super nice. The Pho broth was very tasty and we loved the wide noodles. The egg roles were good as well. It looks as good as it tastes!

Andrei J.

Yelp
Best Vietnamese food in Amsterdam! Home-made, sit-down restaurant quality in a small walk-up/takeaway restaurant. Talked to the cook and it's all his Vietnamese family recipes. My friends and I ended up trying almost everything on the menu. From the starters, I liked the Goi Cuon rolls and the chicken wings. We also had the banh mi, the bun thit nuong, and I had the pho. All were delicious! The place is just a small shop with a small menu and a couple tables outside, but I found the taste and quality were excellent!

Jayde D.

Yelp
While we were in Amsterdam, it was cold and rainy. We checked this place out and wow! We are huge pho fans and this is by far the best pho we've ever had. The service was great and really chill. We got spring rolls which were also really good, and the sauce they used was beyond amazing. Check this place out!

K G.

Yelp
The pho was really good (it's all in the broth) and the service was warm and friendly. Highly recommend. Went back a 2nd time during our trip.

John C.

Yelp
A very small shop in an alley of Amsterdam. There are only 3 tables inside so if it's crowded, there will be a wait time. However, the food is excellent. It's just as good as any other pho restaurant that I've been to. There are also a few seats outside but the restaurant is located next to a coffee shop.
