Google
What a great Beef Pho Noodle Soup and Shaking Beef Fried Rice in town! But what impressed me the most was that the restaurant not only serves delicious food but also generously provides meals and drinks to homeless people. Everyone, please don’t just come for the amazing food—let’s also lend a hand to support this restaurant in continuing their meaningful and compassionate actions.

Google
Didn't have the pho. I had th beef tenderloin which was great. Also, the thai tea was 5/5. Lastly, a real human took my order, which made the experience so much better. I hate ordering from kiosk. So if youre in downtown Atlanta and need a bite to eat, this is as good as youre gonna get.

Mitchell D.

Google
Shrimp egg rolls are off the chain... yep.... I said it. Worth it. Better get 2 orders. Beef steak is really good with fried rice. Better get dinner plates cause lunch is small and it's a little expensive per-say but, all is good in the neighborhood.

Vy V.

Google
My favourite spot!! The shrimp fried rice is good.

Navie M

Google
Once I walked in I noticed an odor (sewer)then I also noticed someone spraying air freshener. The rice came fast it seemed like it was a day old or microwaved taste weird. The pho was ok the broth taste bland I would think they would provide more then one sauce packet and would keep it separate from any prepackaged vegetables. It’s unsanitary to do that.

Joshua V.

Google
Food was sub par. I’ve been to their other location and loved it. The quality of the food itself was lower than I expected. I love Vietnamese good but I straight up didn’t enjoy it. We ordered to go so it might have had to do with it but the quality shouldn’t diminish because of that

Google
I ordered on a Friday at 3:56pm & received my order at 4:38pm (I was staying 10 mins away) My order consisted of the "Pho Ga w/ Beef Broth" (+Tendon which was an additional cost) it was really good & I like that since delivered I was able to build my own as well as add anything I thought it may have been missing. I didn't get enough plum sauce, so it tasted a touch flat, but it was still tasty. The green tea boba I ordered was delicious, however it lacked the boba I requested. Instead of pork egg rolls, I got veggie. Even though they were not my preferred order, it was satisfactory. I additionally ordered a side order of fried rice that was a little bland but nothing a little seasoning and a boiled egg couldn't cure. A side of grilled pork that, when combined with the fried rice and egg rolls (3 count), was as filling as a full dinner.

Google
Dont even spend your money here go somewhere else. This place honestly sucked the pho was so trash. First we get there and you have to pay which was different cause every place that has served pho you pay after. I understand now why they make you pay before its for the simple reason that the food is bad. The broth was watered down like how do you even mess up the broth? Its the most important part. The meat was so dry and also the noodles did not taste good. Even all of the sides tasted weird. Overall I do not recommend this place it’s terrible. Truly disappointed that I spent money and decided to come to the place.

Yelp
Best bbq bahn mi and lemongrass chicken in town. Highly recommend the place. And don't forget to order Vietnamese coffee.

Lemres M.

Yelp
wow, just wow. i got this food delivered through doordash, i got the spicy lemongrass chicken, taro bubble tea, and shrimp egg rolls. this is delicious, authentic vietnamese food... my legs were too weak to walk there otherwise i would have but delivery at least there is no complaints whatsoever. the milk tea was delicious, slightly frozen and perfectly sweet and while the tapioca has an odd jellylike texture i cant say i dislike it. the shrimp egg rolls are the best ive ever had.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst pho experience I've ever had, and that's saying a lot. Walked in expecting something hot and comforting, instead what I got was cold soup and a colder welcome. The woman running the place (some rude, loud-mouthed aunty) clearly missed the memo on basic customer service. The broth? Bland and lifeless. Noodles? Overcooked to mush. The only thing with any bite was her attitude.

Yelp
For someone who doesn't usually like pho this place was amazing. Reasonable prices and great service. They offer discounts to Georgia state students. This is a two tier place quit squishy but it's beautiful and quiet great place for studying ! You can choose how your meat is cooked and they have self serve toppings!

T T.

Yelp
ordered some soup. (ly soup pho) to go. got to my destination & opened the container. nothing but salty water with a little chicken broth!!! $$6.00 dollars!!!! i'll never go there again! thanks for nothing, mai! literally!!!

Autumn G.

Yelp
I ordered the shrimp pho for a work function. It was delicious and the perfect meal for a cold rainy day.
google avatar

Meera P.

Yelp
It was alright. The vegetarian soup is absolutely delicious but the chicken pho wasn't my favorite. Service was decent. Not sure if I would go back but if I lived in the area I would go back for the vegetarian soup.
google avatar

Patti M.

Yelp
The pho is super tasty and the service was incredibly nice and helpful. I also really enjoyed the bubble tea. If you happen to be in the area, stop by.
google avatar

Adrien R.

Yelp
Food was left at lobby without any notification. Checked the app every min. Drink was left opened. Need some upgrade for delivery service.

Joshua S.

Yelp
Not bad if you're really craving pho. Not enough meat. Small portions. All you can take bean sprouts and basil station was good.
google avatar

Yelp
Another great Pho King to eat at and if you are a GSU students, you get 10% off your order! I really enjoy how easy it to stop by the restaurant when I am in the downtown area and how friendly the staff is too. Same quality as the other Pho King I tend to eat at more often with the added benefits of unlimited side bean sprouts. Also, they make it easy to take your food to go if you need to run to class or head home before traffic picks up. I would definitely recommend this location if you are looking for a quiet spot to get some Pho in the downtown/GSU campus!
google avatar

Sam T.

Yelp
Vegan Friendly Review: This was hands down some of the best Pho I have had. Pho King Express is located near my job in downtown Atlanta. If you are a GA State student, they give you a 10% discount. For lunch, I had the Pho Tofu and it really hit the spot on a chilly day! The flavors really hit home without too much salt either! This will be a great spot for lunch especially during the winter time!

Yelp
Rich, savory, and flavorful are the three words that come to mind when I think of Pho. This restaurant hits all of those key points for me. I am shocked by how underrated this place is!!! Most Vietnamese places take pride in the fact that they use fresh ingredients. However, that is just setting the bar low. A key weak point most restaurants have is the food being too "heavy" or greasy. It is that exhausting feeling you get after eating where you feel dizzy or nauseous. This restaurant is exceptional. I never knew that something so fulfilling could be so light on the stomach. The pho broth had a clean taste and it wasn't oily at all. The fragrance from the fresh vegetables added depth and complexity to the dish. The egg rolls had the nice crispy texture you would want from fried foods minus the greasiness you get from them. The customer service also did not disappoint!!! I suffer from social anxiety so normally ordering stuff is hard for me, but I felt comfortable and valued as a customer there. I regret not leaving a tip because my experience was just so phenomenal. The ambience was also really nice; the entire place is just chill. Being a college student it is also hard to find cheap food places, but I got this amazing experience for under 20 dollars?!? I absolutely recommend giving this place a try.

Andrew H.

Yelp
The best pho place I have ever been to hands down. I went with a group a few days ago and to start, the restaurant had a great ambience to it and I saw some people just hanging out like it was a cafe (unfortunately did not take a picture). The food came out very fast and they also have a toppings/seasoning bar with bean sprouts, mint leaves, and other pho toppings which was delicious. The best part, which compelled me to make this review, was when the restaurant owner gave a free meal to a unhoused man who walked into the store asking for food. I offered to pay for him but the owner refused and told me that she would front the cost. I really appreciated the owner's compassion and the restaurant's commitment to the community and I wish her all the luck.
google avatar

Kelvin M.

Yelp
The overall vibe of the place was ok, but when it came to the food, I was definitely disappointed. Pros: Self serve veggies (bean sprouts, etc) Cons: The pho size was tiny and overpriced. When you go to get pho, you expect massive bowls filled to the brim with flavorful broth. Instead, I got a plastic cereal bowl of flavorless broth. There was barely any meat, and I was extremely unsatisfied. In comparison to a nearby pho restaurant, Pho King Express gave at best 50% of the portion size of the other at a higher price. Overall, I was severely disappointed by the experience. 2 stars for the self serve veggies, but everything else disappointed.

Yelp
Speaking as just someone who has come here for just a grab and go bahn mi sandwich this place is pretty good. I usually come between 1-3pm for just bahn mi I can finish while walking to class. I usually go with the BBQ pork and it usually takes 5min for me to get it when there's no one ahead of me so service is pretty quick. I think it's about $4 for a bahn mi but since I come here so often I've stopped paying attention to it and just swipe lol. I guess that goes to show how good I think the place is, I don't worry about the price or the quality since I know what I'm eating is going to hit the spot. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a good grab and go spot!
google avatar

Yelp
This place was SUPERB! Nice and clean inside, they even have a condiment bar that keeps all condiments refrigerated and safe from fomites. You can dine in, get your meal delivered, or take it to go. A friend and I decided to dine in, everything is social distanced so we felt comfortable. The staff is fast and friendly! Food is amazing, very authentic taste. I highly recommend! Definitely support your locals! Oh and they have boba :)

S P.

Yelp
Love this place. Every dish is authentic and delicious. You actually get served by the owner who is very passionate about their food. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The atmosphere of the establishment was very friendly and ordering food was very easy. I come here twice a week for the P10 and Thai tea with tapioca and personally enjoy the Thai tea here more than other bubble tea places in the area. The pho here also tastes very authentic and the fact that there is a sauce area and self-serve veggie counter shows that the owner really cares about their customers. I have recommended this place to my friends and will keep on saying that this is the best authentic pho cuisine you'll be finding within walking distance of Georgia State University.

Bernice M.

Yelp
The food is EXCELLENT! The owners also take pride in the cleanliness of their establishment! Every time we travel to Atlanta from North Dakota, we make a stop here! My husband loves their sandwiches and I love their Phô! The staff are always so friendly!

Luan T.

Yelp
Pho King to the rescue whenever I need a Pho shot. I go here often with my colleagues during lunch to indulge in Vietnamese food/Pho. It is walking distance from the corporate office. The restaurant is very well kept. I prefer to sit on the 2nd floor to avoid the foot traffic. The portion is just right and you can always add more veggies with their self-service veggie bar. The staff is friendly and answers all my vegetarian questions. If you're vegetarian or just want something beside meat or seafood, the "Hu Tieu Chay" is my favorite. It is filled with fresh veggies and fresh veggie broth. If you're feeling adventurous, the avocado smoothie here with the bubbles is the best!
google avatar

Krissy C.

Yelp
I've had better pho. They gave a lot of meat which is usually a good thing, but it overpowered the noodles & I felt like I couldn't find the noodles. It was a struggle. I do like their side bar with unlimited bean sprouts, limes, etc.
google avatar

Georgia K.

Yelp
While the ambiance of this restaurant is very nice, the pho was beyond overpriced for the portion size. I understand that being in downtown Atlanta the prices may need to increase but my friends and I were disappointed especially given that this spot recently opened. Most pho places serve it in big bowls while the bowls here were less than half the size elsewhere. The flavor of the broth also was not very flavorful and they didn't give a lot of meat either. We did like that they allowed you to grab as many bean sprouts, jalapeños, cilantro, lime, and other additions to pho as you would like. As for the bahn mi, it was just okay. It fulfilled my bahn mi craving but the meat was very dry and it felt like it was missing something I couldn't quite figure out that other bahn mis have. I think compared to other pho places in the area with comparable prices, this place was sorely lacking in flavor and portion sizing. My friends and I won't be returning here.
google avatar

Bianca C.

Yelp
Wasn't a fan. I went to Pho King with some friends during their Grand Opening. We were truly expecting the food to be delicious but were disappointed by the lack of flavor in the broth. My friends were more upset about the portion size, but the lack of flavor is what I was the most disappointed about. I ordered the Pho Combo, and the meats were decent, but also lacked flavor. The tripe was also a bit bland. I ordered the House Fresh Lemonade which was too sour for me to even finish. The drink was topped with a lime, and I think the lime overpowered the overall taste. It did not taste lemony whatsoever. I did like that they offered self-serve veggies. The location itself is excellent and looks like a nice hangout/meet up space. I might return to the restaurant in a couple of months to see if there were any changes.
google avatar

Skylar L.

Yelp
They give a lot of meat in the pho. The pho also comes out pretty fast. I also love having a self serve veggie section since I get a lot of bean sprouts. One complaint if any, is that the bowl is too small for the amount of noodles.
google avatar

Gabriel V.

Yelp
Fast food, pay first style of phó joint. Think plastic bowls and spoons and you get the gist.
google avatar

Jay L.

Yelp
Hmm here's an advice for business owner: please use a larger bowl. You can serve the same exact amount of food and people will think they got more. You've got an opposite effect going on here - people see a tiny bowl and assuming you're skimping out on portion size (which in my case is completely untrue). Another thing, please have English speaking staff bring food to the table, the gentlemen that served us today didn't speak a single word in English and couldn't correct a problem when we tried to tell him he had our food mixed up with another table's. We were able to sort out the problem on our own though. Overall, I liked the noodle - it didn't have this gamey/cutting board stench I'd get from some other Pho restaurants and I like that! The egg skin could be a bit thinner and crispier though. :)
google avatar

Rose P.

Yelp
Has the tofu pho and broth is flavorful and there was plenty of tofu. Broth to noodle ratio was perfect. Their fresh spring/summer rolls was also very delicious. Fried egg rolls are pretty good. The bbq pork banh mi has the flavor but I've had better elsewhere. The condiments and fresh herbs are self serve.
google avatar

Peter L.

Yelp
Great food! I've been here twice in the past couple of days and the food is great. Most importantly their service was outstanding. 10/10. I ordered the wrong dish which was completely my fault for not reading the menu correctly and they switched my food at no cost and the owner was very generous about it. I'll be back again and this time the food that I accidentally ordered wrong, I'll give that a try. I left a tip at the table for any inconvenience.
google avatar

Luwei G.

Yelp
The place was innovative in that they provide a veggie bar for you to pick the veggie you like for your pho. The taste was good but the tripe was cooked for too long and the flank was kinda undercooked. Overall it is very convenient to have a quick lunch here.
google avatar

Mitul P.

Yelp
Loved it! I went with my family and friends(group of 6) and we all couldn't find one thing that we didn't like... they have very nice selection for vegetarians (about half of my group was vegetarians) and they loved eating here. The staff was very accommodating to everyone's needs and were willing to customize few items. We r definitely going back for more.
google avatar

Celia L.

Yelp
Surprised by the bad reviews! The pho might come out a tad plain but there are plenty of veggies and sauces to add to it and everything is well cooked, meat flavorful. I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Paris M.

Yelp
Pho King Express is my new go-to Vietnamese pho in GSU campus. We ordered two pho with eye round steak and it came out really quick! This is a great place to stop by for a quick lunch for a delicious and authentic Vietnamese pho.
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
Shrimp egg rolls are a great snack or addition to the meal. I usually get them with my Bahn Mi sandwich, which is great tasting and only $5. Would recommend for lunch; great option close to GSU.

Sandra B.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and I wish that I didn't. It wasn't good. Yes it's cheaper than the other Pho spots but don't waste your money. I ordered the pho and fried pork egg rolls. The noodles felt like they had been in the freezer and thawed out. It was cold and locked together. The broth wasn't that flavorful. The filling inside the egg rolls was mushy. I couldn't even tell what was inside it. They were tasteless. The sauce didn't help it at all because I couldn't get over the mushy texture. I was truly disappointed in general and won't be ordering from here again. There are definitely better places out there. I just wanted to give this place a chance and in the end, it left an unsatisfactory taste in my mouth.
google avatar

Avant B.

Yelp
Great prices. Great food. Great restaurant for lunch downtown if you want some good food, but quick enough to get back that client call you have at one o'clock. And the name is Pho King Awesome haha.
google avatar

Jason V.

Yelp
The environment of the store is nice and quaint. They have a combination of bar area and tables for parties or if you're just grabbing a quick solo lunch. I love the vegetable bar because it allows you to customize what vegetables you want in your pho. Although some of the beef seemed like it was overcooked, it's understandable because it's an Express store and food has to come out quickly. The food came out quickly as expected and the flavor was great! It wasnt too bland and there were sriracha and hoisin sauce to add to it. Overall this place is great, but the prices are a little more expensive for the portions you do get compared to other vietnamese places.
google avatar

Andira P.

Yelp
I was excited when Pho King (read the name carefully...) opened up in downtown! Dua is a favorite of GSU students, so it's always crowded -- I've also had bad experiences in the downtown Pho24. If Pho King has great food and service, then I would have hit the jackpot for downtown Atlanta pho! When I arrived, I was kindly greeted by two guys working behind the counter. We ordered our pho (one size only) and got our toppings from the veggie bar - sweet! When we got our pho....it was a little small. I understand the $10 cost since the cost of rent is steep in downtown, but dang... The pho came in a small plastic bowl *cringes* When we tasted it, the broth wasn't as rich as other pho places. They skimped on the meat, too. I think this place needs some more time to improve, so I'd be happy to retry in a month or so. Staff was very friendly, and veggie bar concept is unique. Food is so-so. But please. For the love of our planet. No more plastic bowls and utensils for dine-in!!!!!

Ste C.

Yelp
I like this pho restaurant and recommend their food a lot. The lemon grass chicken with rice is really good. I also like to order pho to go. The plastic bowl looks small but it actually contains lots materials. My two girl friends usually come here for lunch and order one pho to share. The most important thing is that their is definitely flavorful and delicious. Also I have no complaints for the portion size as I think it's a very appropriate size for lunch if you don't want to get food coma in the afternoon.

Lena L.

Yelp
The newest Pho place in GSU. Now I don't have to walk all the way to aderhold for pho anymore, so convenient and fun because they let you serve yourself to a veggie bar, take whatever you want and need. The pho broth is excellent and my favorite is the fried rice with marinated beef chunks. It is very nice inside, modern but with a vintage twist on the wallpaper. I enjoyed my lunch here a lot, will definitely come back often!

Tim E.

Yelp
My favorite Pho restaurant in the GSU area. Pho has a fantastic flavor and I love all of the fresh vegetables! I will definitely recommend to my friends and will be back many more times!!!

Mike R.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, wonderful service and the food is out of this world. Will be back next time in town.

Angelique H.

Yelp
The sandwiches are the best. I love the Banh Mi BBQ Chicken sandwich. The Pho soup is really good.
