Pho Kitchen

I'm from Pacific NW, where delicious Pho is almost on every corner of the city. Here it in Tennessee it's a bit different...I'm driving through this little town & found this beautiful gem called Pho Kitchen, decided to stop by with my family and I'm so glad we did, the service was phenomenal, the owner is a very nice guy, he makes delicious authentic beef Pho! Also, we tried some grilled chicken and vegetarian spring rolls, everything was very delicious. Very nice atmosphere 👌 and very clean! Clean bathroom means clean kitchen!!! I'm hoping to stop here again on the way back! ✨️

What a gem! We love Vietnamese cuisine and have been craving it. The restaurant was clean and your typical Asain style. Very cozy. If you love Vietnamese food then this is a must try, and if you're just looking for something new to try, stop on in! I got the rice noodle bowl with chicken (Vermicelli) and our friend got the pork. Everything was so good. The fish sauce had a more mild flavor then what we have had in other Pho restaurants but the peanut sauce was amazing. The pork was tender and the chicken was cooked to perfection! My husband got the beef pho and he loved it. The brother smelt amazing and the flavor was just perfect. The waiter was very attentive and brought out another portion of noodles which was so kind. We also got a Bánh mi and the kindly cut it in 3. Everything about it was mouthwatering! Very good service and food!

My sweet husband takes me here for lunch dates on the weekends. It’s about an hour drive for us and I love him for sacrificing for PHO. We both enjoy the sweet bone-simmered broth. We are from CALIFORNIA and it’s a blessing to find authentic Vietnamese food in KENTUCKY. The service is amazing very friendly people. 🍜♥️🙏

When you walk in the door you are hit with the most amazing scents coupled with a smiling server in a brick walled, concrete floored dining area. The menu is amazing with banh bao and bahn mi and pho.... they've got noodle dishes and everything looked amazing. We got the Pho Bo with the added oxtail. I slurped it down so fast I was covered in broth ...... it was heavenly. Here's the Breakdown: Hearty Pho served by happy people in a great smelling place +5 stars. I can't wait to go back.

Great food! Everything was tasty and fresh. The portions are very big and well worth the price :) I tried the grilled chicken & rice noodles which I would definitely recommend. The iced coffee is also very good Very clean restaurant and relaxing atmosphere! Quick service

Grabbed pho, spring rolls, & a Thai tea to go. The to go order was packed up so well to ensure no spills & that I had everything I could possibly want for the pho. Everything was so fresh & tasted amazing.

There’s not a bad thing on this menu. Everything is fresh, delicious, and authentic. The owner is so kind, he runs the place with minimal help and always delivers. The portions and quality of the food are very fair for the price. There’s not a single bad thing I can say about Pho Kitchen.

I went her with my daughter, and we had a wonderful meal and time together. The food was all delicious, and the service was so friendly and kind. We had the pork egg rolls. They were delicious! I had the beef pho, and she had the pork grilled sandwich. Everything was so fresh, the flavors all balanced so well. It's a casual atmosphere, but not noisy so we could talk and relax. The paintings on the wall are beautiful and unique. We'll definitely come back.

This place was very nice. The pho and spring rolls were so good. And the people were very friendly. I'd go back.

For being the only pho restaurant here, it was pretty decent. I ordered the spicy Bun Bo hue which hit the spot especially for these colder months. The soup was spicy and savory, the beef slices were cooked how I like it, wasn't a big fan of meatballs but nonetheless it was overall a 7.5/10. Now I gotta try their regular pho!

I love Pho kitchen!! so so good, definitely worth trying! Multiple times that i've visited with someone, we're the only ones in the restaurant. Service is great, very quick. Their menu has everything you'd except, would love to see the addition of Vermicelli noodles to it.

Wow! So delicious. In my younger years, I worked in a lab with Vietnamese counterparts and this bright back so many good flavor memories.

The pho here has the best savory broth. I ordered the beef pho and we also got two pork buns and banh mi. All of the food was exceptional and so flavorful. The best pho I've ever had. I wish we weren't from out of town so we could come back every week!

Ok Tennessee, I live in the DC area wish has some of the best Pho spots in the US. Pho Kitchen has a really basic but delicious soup. Most Pho spot have multiple styles of Pho and at times it gets confusing, Pho Kitchen has beef and chicken, no need to understand the types of meat the are normally included in different types of pho cultures. The food is delicious but needs to maybe expand the meat selections to finer cuts and include a little more meat and veggie (sprouts, cilantro, onion) and this place would be awesome.

We found this little spot while visiting downtown Clarksville and really enjoyed it. The owner was friendly and the Pho was well prepared with a rich depth of flavor. The Thai coffee was a bit heavy on the chocolate and light on the coffee. Ambiance was ok, could maybe use a little light dinner music.

My friend and I are on a quest to try the local non chain food restaurants. We are both foodies, her from the east coast and I from the mid west. As we walked in I loved the exposed brick walls. I love old buildings (If you ever get a chance to walk the grounds of Alvin C York VA Medical Center and see the old brick buildings you will understand what I mean. We were seated right away and presented with menus. Everything on the menu looked and sounded so good. The food that was cooking smelled delicious. My friend ordered the 2 spring rolls, pork noodle bowl and a Diet Coke. I on the other hand decided that even though I had just had a minor surgery earlier in the day to throw caution to the wind... I ordered the grilled chicken noodle bowl, added an egg roll and my favorite Thai Tea... Our meal was prepared and served to us. We were allowed to start eating and actually taste our food and were checked on to make sure that our meal was prepared to our liking. I get adventurous and some extra spices that were at the table and that took an already delicious meal over the top. I can't wait to go back and try some more delicious menu items. I highly recommend Pho Kitchen for either eat in or carry out.

Wow, just amazing food! Appreciate a great bowl of Pho. Always good no matter what season. So many don't think soup is good in the warmer months. I like soup always! Thank you!!! Love the setting! Love that our city is becoming more diverse!

I love Vietnamese food. I had no idea that this place existed until a few days ago. I dragged my husband there today to try the veggie banh mi! It did not disappoint. The bun was soft and chewy and warm! Inside was shredded carrots, pickled radish, tofu, mushroom, cilantro and a yummy sauce. It was fresh, spicy and full of flavor. We also got a side order of the spring rolls. They were freshly made, packed full of ingredients and served with one of the best peanut sauces I've had in a long time. The owner greeted us, did the cooking and serving! He was super friendly and we had pleasant chit chat with him. Ambiance: super relaxed spot with no pretense. The restaurant itself is fine, lots of tables (with all the good sauces on each one)!! It was nice and warm and friendly and the food was super authentic and super tasty. I'll be back for sure!

I did not like the food here. When you're craving pho and wanting to enjoy your experience this is not my first choice at all. The flavor was missing and the quality of everything was bland.

This is my go to spot for Pho! I have tried a few things on the menu, and nothing has been as good as the spicy beef noodle soup. It's so good that neither my wife or myself can get anything else now. The level of spice is different each time. But most dishes are medium to slightly hot. But never too hot for me to eat. My wife does not like spicy foods, and this is not too spicy for her. Try it you'll thank me later. The service is always very good. The owner does most of the work so he is always running around very busy but your food is always promptly delivered and he is very pleasant.

Beef pho and Grilled chicken with rice noodles were great! Very large and filling portions.

Visiting from out of town. Kids loved the bahn mi, I loved the pho. We shared bao buns and spring rolls for appetizers.

DELICIOUS!! Ample food for the price. Service great! Each time we've gone, has been just the owner there, but he is super fast.

Checked Operation time and arrived restaurant around 7:00pm at a parallel parking spot on the street in front of the restaurant to find it closed with no lights at all inside. Their closing time on Yelp is 8:00pm. Have no idea if the place is even opened. Has to drive 2 miles back to the vicinity to eat at the old reliable Crackle Barrel.

How is this place not packed for dinner? The Pho is outstanding. I can't think of anything negative to say except I ate it too quickly. The Bahn Mi (chicken) is perfection between toasted bread. The veggies were crisp, the flavor was perfect and the chicken outstanding. The flavors perfectly complimented each other. Sadly, Bristol, VA does not have a place like this. Only if I could bro g a bunch back home... I will be back in the area next week and I know where I am having dinner! To all the Cookevillians, you are missing out and should eat here once a week, at least. Places like this are a rare find and should be treasured.

Fresh food. Great service and options for all of us- Vegetarian, meat and potatoes lover, shellfish avoider and teenager pallet. This place is fabulous!

Wow what a phenomenal bowl of Pho!!! We got the beef pho, and the chicken pho ga it was delicious. Pork bun was perfect. My fiancé is from California and this definitely tastes the same as the pho we would get there! The Thai tea is super tasty too and my daughter got lemonade , I swear it was fresh squeezed! Must try this place totally worth it. We happened to be the only ones in the restaurant. :)

We happened upon this place and we thought it was closed but tried the door and it was open! We tried their spicy beef pho and it was amazing! The serving size was huge! The flavor of the broth was so delicious! There were a ton of noodles and meat! The service was so fast and the restaurant was clean ! We will return!

This restaurant is a much needed addition to Cookeville! With friendly staff, convenient location, and great food, Vietnamese Pho should be on everyone's restaurant bucket list. My husband and I had the beef pho, as well as the shrimp spring rolls. If you're not hungry, it's still worth a stop to get their Vietnamese iced coffee. It's better than any coffee shop in town! While the prices may be a little higher than some Viet restaurants in Nashville, such as VN Pho & Deli (also highly recommend), the food served is unlike any other you'll find in Cookeville. A bowl of pho at Vietnamese Pho hits the spot!

Absolutely spot-on pho and bun bo hue. Simplified menu vs what you might find at a pho place somewhere with a larger Vietnamese community, but the execution is excellent. Cookeville is lucky to have someplace this good.

Love this restaurant! Spring rolls are the best in Cookeville. I like the shrimp and the vegetables. The grilled chicken with rice noodles is a lovely Hugh plate of food with and egg roll included! Called Bun Ga Nudng in Vietnamese. Then the pho Ga or chicken noodle soup is fantastic! Got a cold or COVID? Order and pick up. Friendly nice homey restaurant. Beverly Beal customer

Best Pho I have ever had in the US. The service is second to none. I love the location and the ambiance. I found it to be really cool in that part of town.

I honestly almost passed this place up, but I am so glad I didn't. I ordered the Bahn Mi, and let me say for the price, it was the best I've had so far. Left me wanting another. The freshness of the veggies made it what I wanted it to be! I will be returning every time I am in Cookeville.

Love this little place! My college son introduced me. I had veggie spring rolls. Hubbie had chucken bahnmi. Really good. Waiter may have been owner. So friendly fast and efficient! Will definitely go back!

This place is seriously such a gem! The staff are very friendly, the restaurant is clean and comfortable. My husband and I got the pho and also enjoyed some of the amazing pork buns! I can't recommend this place enough!

Wanted Pho but wanted to try a new place.. and wow. This was amazing! Me and my wife both got the beef noodle soup and it was delicious! The pork buns (bao) were also amazing. The food was so refreshing and filling and the service was so nice!

Oh my. We love pho and don't have a place in our hometown so this was a special treat! It's clearly family owned and if you're not used to small family owned asian restaurants you may be disappointed in decor or service, which can be slow at times. But the FOOD omg! Chicken. Pho, limeade, and ginger tea are On. Point. We loved it. Perfect for a cold evening. I'd take a picture of my food but couldn't stop eating it long enough to shoot a photo lol...

So good! We ordered the spring rolls, pork sandwich and shrimp noodles!!! The taste is amazing and the sauces oh my gosh!!! Sooo good and the gentleman was so kind and happy to help serve us and very present.

Food was great, particularly liked the spring rolls. It was so very quiet for a Saturday evening. Hope others discover this little place and the business does well.

I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and the chicken noodle soup from here. Both were rather expensive ($16 and $14 respectively), but they did give us a lot of food. It was enough to feed a family. However, the broth for both soups was flavorless, and overall the meals were not nearly as good as I thought they would be. I'm giving it 3 stars because i've only ordered two things from the menu, so I can't say how the rest of the food is.
