Pho Lai

It's Pho restaurant. I think they open in the morning only. So I didn't have chance to come a while, but finally I could. So the quality of the Pho is not different from the one selected by Michellin I think. I already tried all Michellin selected Pho in HCMC. The Pho here was really good. It's HCMC style Pho, then the price is much cheaper than the Michellin one. So if you just want to have a good Pho, this is the one.

One of my favourites when it comes to the combination of tastes and value. The pho is spot on and the portions are a great size. Would definitely come back. It is located in the alleyway, so enter through the alley or second street past the main street.

Pretty decent pho 45k for a bowl. It has a good amount of meat in it. This store seems to be very popular among locals as the tables were almost full.

In summary, the breakfast pho stall named Lai, owned by a man named Lai, offers reasonably priced pho with a sweet broth due to being stewed with beef bones overnight. The owner's ability to remember customer orders leads to faster service, which is a plus for those who are in a hurry.

Ordered Phở Gân which is tendon Pho. The noodles were soggy and the tendons were very hard. It's rare to find soft tendons in Vietnam but these were hardly chewable. Broth is not bad and the price is fair.

I enjoyed this đầy đủ bowl of pho very much. The cashier and server were very pleasant. Sitting in an alley was fun, too!
