This pho spot was okay. The restaurant was clean, and the food overall was decent. We ordered pho and egg rolls—both were good, though the meat in the pho was a bit on the dry side, and the egg rolls were slightly overcooked. The broth had good flavor, and the service was friendly, making for a pleasant experience. They have limited parking on the back of the restaurant.

1/25/25: My brother recommended this restaurant. This was my first time at Pho Le Nguyen. I had a party of 9. We all enjoyed the food and service!! Overall, we'd definitely come back again❣️ * You can make reservations online, which i did. The process was quick and easy. By the time we arrived, our tables were ready. There's plenty of tables and seats available, to be honest. The inside of the restaurant was beautifully decorated and inviting ❣️😌 * The food was delicious!! 😋🤤🍜🧋 We ordered: beef Pho, chicken Pho, other Pho dish, egg rolls, Korean BBQ ribs, Pad Thai noodles, coconut juice, 3 color dessert, Taro boba smoothies, honeydew smoothie and mango smoothie. Yum! 🤤😍 * The service was overall great despite we didn't get 2 of our drinks until we asked for it. To be fair, we did order a lot of food, tho 😅. The waiters did a great job. They were friendly and were very attentive to all of their customers! Awesome customer service! ⭐️💫 * 🚘 Parking is free. There's street parking. We didn't have any issues. We parked in front of the restaurant. * We went on a Saturday at 5:00 pm. Wasn't super busy. Did not take long to get our food! The wait time to get our food was reasonable🤩 ✨️✨️🩷 I'd definitely go again. Don't just take my words for it. Go try for yourselves! Enjoy!🩷✨️✨️🤤😋

Met a friend here for lunch the other day and was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. I ordered the pho special (no tripe or tendon) and she ordered a rice plate. The bowl of pho came out nice and hot. It was packed with meat and noodles. The broth was on point and definitely satisfied my pho cravings. The prices here are also reasonable when compared to other places. The place was nice and clean with friendly service.

I just landed in PDX from a quick weekend getaway and was craving some pho. Pho Le Nguyen was only 10 min from the airport and definitely hit that pho itch. It was Memorial Day and late afternoon when I arrived. The place was pretty busy but I was fortunate to find a parking spot behind the restaurant. I was quickly seated and my order was taken. The food and service here is great. It came out fast, hot and delicious. I ordered some salad rolls and the Pho Ga. The proportions were good and the flavors were very satisfying. I would definitely recommend checking this place out if you are craving pho this side of town.

Pho was great! Both rice noodles and meats were perfect! And the soup, too! Price was also affordable. The restroom was really clean, even with no odor. Definitely, my family will get there again to enjoy the delicious pho again.

Location: near Portland airport. I took uber from my hotel to eat. Food: very large portion to me as a Vietnamese. The best one is Pho, beef ball is my favorite. Hu tieu xao is tasty. Com Tam is fine. Staff and service: 10/10

Google
Top tier pho here! Service was friendly and super fast, food was delicious, restaurant was immaculately clean. I make it my mission to find a good pho place in any city I visit, and out of 15+ pho places I've gone to in 8+ states, this is in the top 3!

Google
Literally AMAZING Egg Noodles. I'm traveling from San Diego, CA & had this place next to our hotel. Southern California has a ton of Vietnamese places, but I'm going to be dreaming about these Beef Egg Noodles. Got a Banh Mi to go to eat later. Phenomenal & authentic Vietnamese food. 100% traveling back to Portland just to eat here soon!

Yelp
Outstanding service and food. The best Pho I've ever had. Owner's are so welcoming and warm. Overall great experience!!

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch. It is located in a corner of a busy street. It has a small private lot in the back of the restaurant. The interior is beautifully decorated. Service was excellent as the lady greeted us as we came in the door, was patient with us as we took our time placing our order, and was very attentive. The food came out quick as well. The pho and fried rice were flavorful, and the portions were large. Highly recommend this pho spot.

Yelp
Clean. Fast service. Friendly. Attentive. Food was authentic. This was our first time here and won't be the last. Recommend: R1 rice plate

Yelp
Oh man, tiz tha season! Which means, HOT PHO PLEASE! We came here a few days before Christmas and man this place simply hit the spot! I know there are plenty of places to get Vietnamese food as well as pho around here, but these guys were golden! Here's a lil' bit about this restaurant: :+: Parking & Location :+: Located on a busy Sandy Blvd, you'll either find street parking or a small lot behind the place. Probably enough space for about eight cars. :+:+: Service, Dining & Atmosphere :+:+: Window table seating and booths, along the inside on the right of the entrance. A bar looking to your left. A couple of bigger tables good to accommodate larger parties. The tables appeared clean with a small shoebox size container with chopsticks, spoons, napkins, and condiments on top. No small sauce dish, but not a big deal. As for service, the kid that seated us was polite and was ready to take our order. He even made a few suggestions, and refilled our water glasses. Thumbs up on service! :+:+:+: Apps & Pho :+:+:+: ~ To start, we had the C2 or the Vegetarian Salad Rolls with tofu ($6.95). These were pretty energizing as we were starving. Loved the peanut sauce! I was ready to grub for more! ~ First time here, get the "P1" the House Special Pho Noodle Soup ($15.95) Big bowl - check Broth nice and hot - check Broth full of flavor - check and super savory good! Loved it! Lots of noodles - check Lots of meat (flank slices/brisket/tendons/meatballs) - check check and then some! Oh wait, I didn't find tripe in mine. Hmm? All good, not a game changer. ~ Their other bowls average $14.95, and they also serve Pho Gà. As well as a kids size bowl for $11.95. ~ We then had the A10 the Green Papaya Salad ($11.95) which we chose not spicy. This had shrimp and strips of pork, and all together tasted fresh! Although I was expecting a tamarind flavor, I didn't taste or smell any of it. Maybe it's a different style idk, lol. But again, not a reason to deduct a star, as we all enjoyed it. :+:+:+:+: Next Time :+:+:+:+: ~ When I come back, I'm gonna try their Chicken Wings (w/ fish sauce), a Bánh Mì with grilled pork, their BBQ Short Ribs in a baguette. Oh, and I gotta try a Bún dish too. I've seen the plate come out lookin' all enticing. ~ Oh wait, I'm suppose to give a TL;DR. Well, I'll just say it's definitely worth a try especially for a "pho connoisseur!" I'm not claiming to be one, I'm telling the connoisseur to try it ;) ~ The only negative was not finding a the little saucer in that container box. Really, I was just too lazy to speak up and ask. ~ Tummy satisfied and I most certainly will be back!

Yelp
There's some mixed reviews about this restaurant. I found it to be a wonderful place to have a meal. They have their own parking in the back. Their frontage is a busy street which might deter some people. Went in and was greeted. Showed a table, and given a menu. Water was brought not too long after. Ordered the wonton noodle soup which I gravitate towards when it's available on the menu. The soup was just what I was hoping for. With a rich broth, a good amount of noodles, and tasty wontons. I definitely recommend this restaurant. If I venture to this side of town, I will definitely come by again. Let's help a small business thrive. If you are in the vicinity, check them out. You won't be disappointed. Their service, food and portions won't disappoint.

Yelp
Great food. Flavors were spot on. Slight lemon grass flavor to the Korean BBQ short ribs elevated the dish. There is parking at the back. Place is clean. Service was quick. Definitely coming back here.

Yelp
I'd love to give a shout-out to Yelp Elite Jason V. for his exceptional review of Pho Le Nguyen. Thanks to his recommendation, I think I've found my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant! I'm excited to see Parkrose coming into its own with the addition of so many excellent businesses of late. The neighborhood is finally seeing the revitalization it deserves. Pho Le Nguyen feels like the family-run Vietnamese restaurant should; warm and inviting, with a tasteful combination of contemporary and traditional decor. The staff greet folks at the door, making sure to acknowledge if they recognize patrons are making a return visit. That level of intimacy and recognition really impressed me as I watched the owners greet guests with authentic smiles and a hot cup of tea. I love how much emphasis they place in making their guests feel comfortable. The extensive menu features a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, including several less-known family favorites. (It's important to mention the husband and wife team who opened the restaurant named it after their individual families, the Le family and Nguyen family. Personal touches like this make Pho Le Nguyen feel extra special) My love of Vietnamese food begins with pho. I adore a rich and aromatic bowl of soup with subtle hints of star anise, cloves and other fragrant ingredients. I was pleased to discover this family knows how to make delicious soup! My order arrived steaming hot with a generous portion of round steak and perfectly cooked rice noodles. Their version of Pho Tai exceeded all my expectations and left me counting down the days until my next visit. Pho Le Nguyen definitely gets a five-star rating from me. Notes on Location: Located in the heart of Parkrose, you'll find Pho Le Nguyen on a very busy stretch of Sandy Blvd. There are a number of parking spaces in front of the restaurant on Sandy, as well as side streets. Parkrose has had a bad reputation for property crimes over the years, so make sure you lock your car and secure your valuables. Just use common sense when it comes to your personal property, and embrace the positive change that is coming to this corner of Portland.

Yelp
what a perfect addition to Portland's Vietnamese restaraunt's . This gorgeous well lit setting is located on the way to the airport on Sandy. Open high ceilings and upscale furniture I had S22 rice noodles with shrimp and perfectly cooked bok choy and tender bits of caramelized onions. Tu is the owner and extremely kind. She accidentally threw out my leftovers so made me more to take home. I love the food and ambience. Gentle music played in background for an Asian them with no lyrics to annoy. Easy to hear conversation. Love this clean and fresh looking place with perfect Vietnamese cuisine !!!
google avatar

Lila C.

Yelp
Good pho in a big bowl, the gave you lots of rice noodles, big pieces of sliced beef. The basils are very fresh nice Thai basils, fresh crunch bean sprouts. Reasonable price for the location, $33 for 2 ppl Pho.

Leah S.

Yelp
We love this restaurant! The food was fresh and vegetable forward and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. It was an extra bonus that they had Boba for my kiddo..
google avatar

Jackie M.

Yelp
My kids both had tofu bahn mis that were super flavorful. Like the best I've had. The veggie pho I ordered was a different experience. The flavor can best be described as chlorinated water. It was so bland other than the chlorine flavor. My husband's beef pho had a chlorine odor, but he said it tasted good. I'd comeback for the bahn mis, but skip the pho.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
The pho was delicious. The broth was super flavorful, would put this as one of my go-tos for pho in pdx. Pretty comparable to pho Oregon! The service was slow. For how empty this place was, you would think they would be a little quicker when it comes to serving. Which is why I am giving them 4 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Recently found this new pho spot, in already a competitive east side area market for great Vietnamese restaurants, Pho Le Nguyen holds its own! With a clean and friendly atmosphere, with incredible food to back up. Their pho broth is extremely clean and beefy. Not overly salty or sweet.
google avatar

B B.

Yelp
got a quick bite to eat on my way out from pdx. Looks like a solid family restaurant and service was very fast inside. It looked like they had a fair number of takeout orders while I was dining. the broth looks really good but I didn't get a chance to try the pho.
google avatar

Jan J.

Yelp
Rainy and chilly weather plus hunger equals pho soup! We were lucky to find this place so close by to our shopping area. We had well-done beef pho and egg rolls. The pho itself was good but the egg rolls for some reason was delicious! The staff there was quick and customer service was good. We were glad we came here! We'll be back!
google avatar

Jeremy L.

Yelp
Solid but not amazing place to grab a bowl of pho. The broth was solid (for me, others I was with thought it was on the over-spiced side, but that's how I like it). There's a really nice amount of meat in the bowl, it's pretty loaded compared to a lot of places. The sides were on the weak side. Less of the veggie options I've come to expect from most places - a little skimpy there. All said, not very busy and the bowls came quickly. I'd swing in again.

Yelp
My wife and I have tried many different Pho places in Portland, but only a handful of them have stood out as being exceptional: Pho Hung at 47th & Powell, and Pho Oregon on 82nd. After this weekend, we're adding Pho Le Nguyen to our list, which makes us very happy, because it's practically right in our own backyard! Since it was a lazy Sunday, we placed our order to go, and as I was the only one dressed in house, I was tasked with picking it up (quoted to be ready 15 minutes after ordering). I was warmly greeted upon entry, offered tea during my wait (which lasted less than a minute), and was engaged in friendly conversation by the woman I'm assuming was the manager or owner. Although I didn't spend much time inside, the interior is clean, simply yet warmly adorned; it feels like a small, charming, mom-and-pop place. We'd ordered egg rolls, tau hu ky (fried tofu skin filled with shrimp), and the P2 Tai soup (eye of round steak). The egg rolls were crisp, juicy and fresh - definitely home made, not frozen; similarly, the fried tofu skin was moist and almost buttery; and both of these appetizers among the best iterations we've had of either dish. As for the pho itself: when it comes to the broth, my wife is rather picky. The difference between one restaurant's broth and another may be only a subtle one, but it is a make-or-break affair. Fortunately, Pho Le Nguyen is no slouch: it's strong, savory, meaty, hearty, salty and oily, without being too much of any one taste or sensation - a fantastic blend of all good things. The Pho Queen has spoken! In her esteem, it's on par with her other favorite restaurants, meaning that with their close proximity to home, Pho Le Nguyen will likely become our first choice for all of our beef soup needs in the future. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Yelp
We heard great things about this new restaurant on Nextdoor. The stellar online reviews are true. The pho I had was quite flavorful and not too salty. There was enough to bring home leftovers for another meal. My husband enjoyed a crispy noodle dish and he also had tasty leftovers. Staff are very friendly and service is prompt. They have a great selection of traditional Vietnamese dishes, as well as less common ones. Pricing is reasonable especially for the large portion size. They are such a great addition to the neighborhood. We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
The bowl of pho was huge and delicious. The banh mi was also huge and there was no skimping on the bbq pork! The people who work there were friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
First time picking up from this new Vietnamese restaurant, which is just around the block from our home. The family is psyched that this place opened in Parkrose! The place is family owned and they are very nice with quick service. When they told me 15 minutes for a pick up the bag with my name on it was there when I walked in the door 15 minutes later! Inside is clean, with several booths and tables and some nice decorations including some Buddhas. We got egg rolls and fried pot stickers to start, and both were outstanding! Fresh veggies inside and crisply cooked! The Pho Ga and Pho Tai were absolutely delicious. I think these were the best we have had yet in Portland! No delivery needed from this establishment as it's so close by - hurray! Looking forward to eating in soon!

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place out. I'm going to put this pho spot on the same tier as OG pho hung on powell and Pho Oregon. However, the service is wasn't all that great. Ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee and it was never brought out. The pho broth was delicious and not heavy at all. Large amount of noodles and protein was given. Coincidentally they offered 15% off when I came in for Mother's Day weekend. I'm not sure if this place has air conditioning or not because they had a big construction fan inside and seated us in the corner where it was pretty hot.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
I walked in and was promptly greeted by a friendly lady. The video playing of restaurants in Vietnam makes me want to go on another trip there. I ordered a chicken bahn mi and a Vietnamese Coffee. Now that I have that rocket fuel in me I'm ready for the day!

Bryan C.

Yelp
I went here because there are very good reviews, but yet again, I was let down. People overrate places way too much, or restaurants have their friends leave high ratings. The pho broth was the worst I've ever had, and the very small portion of meat in it was extremely tough. There were tons of noodles in it though...way too much. I would have rather had more meat and vegetables, but noodles are cheap. $15 for this bowl and it wasn't worth it. Don't trust Yelp reviews!!!
google avatar

Sandy L.

Yelp
Very friendly service and the food is delicious. Nice crunch on the banh mi. But the Banh Xeo was our favorite, and it's huge!
google avatar

Matthew L.

Yelp
Been craving Banh xeo, something not all pho places have nor do well. It was the best I've had in PDX here. Crispy, not weighted down with oil, and a very nice portion. Highly recommend. Pho was average. Everyone was nice. They open early which we like. Wanted bun bo hue as well, but they do not serve it here. That's my one knock. Definitely worth a visit though.
google avatar

Lam H.

Yelp
Amazing broth on all pho's as well as the shrimp tempura and shrimp spring rolls! Highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Val S.

Yelp
Some of the best pho I've had in PNW this place is legit! Banh mi sandwich was excellent also. Highly recommend
google avatar

Torri L.

Yelp
Delish, great service had Báhn Mi and Pho Tái. I would have taken a photo but the wonderful smell and taste I couldn't stop eating to take a pic.
google avatar

Chad N.

Yelp
I highly recommend Pho Le restaurant to visit, if you crave for the tastiest authentic Vietnamese food. My friend and I are planning to visit there next week. So yummy.Special Plate

Yelp
This place is amazing! We landed at Portland airport and went straight here based off yelp. We had the special house pho, Vietnamese chicken wings, taro boba smoothie and short rib vermicelli. The vermicelli noodles were delicious they tasted home made. The short ribs were so good. Some of the best Vietnamese food I've ever had and I've been to Vietnam! The waitstaff was super friendly too.

Madi F.

Yelp
I called and ordered the steak noodle pho tai to go. I showed up early and the food was ready right when I got there. It was still hot by the time I got home and the pho was delicious. It is a HUGE portion and has a bunch of sides to add in. Will definitely order again in the future!

Stephanie Y.

Yelp
The new pho spot! I've been at this restaurant twice now and I was blown away each time! The service is nice, quick and friendly. There is consistency and I appreciate that about the food, texture and taste! There are large tables and booths and all the indoor lighting you could imagine. The wings you have to get, so yummy and well cooked. The crab ragoons are super tasty as well and the PHO, literally so good, full of protein and heartwarming. The only thing I have to complain about is that there aren't enough napkins on the table to wipe our fingers with! Other than that, I highly recommend this place for a family dinner night! It's new so not so busy and we love that!
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
This is a great spot for Pho. Having tried many great spots in California, the bar for us is set pretty high. We order the P1, the P6, the wings, and fried egg rolls. All of it was great! Service was great frown the moment we walked in. It didn't take us long to get seated and for our orders to go in. Parking is ample but good. Overall, we will definitely be back for more.

Selena D.

Yelp
Ordered the appetizer platter and chicken pho. The waiter was super nice and kept the tables neat. The portions were filling and the broth was very flavorful. Also, restaurant was kept clean, including the bathrooms! We were just driving through Oregon and happened to stop here, the waiter mentioned business has been slow so definitely give this place a try!!

Lizbeth P.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Definitely order the spring rolls. First time, visiting from California. Will definitely come back for another visit
google avatar

Steve V.

Yelp
My favorite place was closed for a well-deserved vacation. Found this relatively new spot on Yelp. Liked the natural lighting and clean space. The Pho was good, broth needed more herbs and spices. They had Sriracha which was nice. Service needs improvement.
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
Green papaya salad was delicious! The dressing was light and delicious. I tried the wonton noodle soup and pho with brisket as well, but both of them had slightly odd-tasting broths. I was very hopeful from the reviews, but unfortunately it fell a little flat for me!
google avatar

Nick G.

Yelp
It was a little ambiguous whether to order at the counter or immediately sit at an open table and wait. I went to the counter and was told to take any table. Service was prompt and friendly. The food came out quickly. I got the House Special Pho and a cafe sua da. The pho was flavorful, maybe a little light on meat. It was nice that the broth actually had some flavor though, as some places it's thin, clear, and doesn't taste like much. I'm always disappointed how few places bring out cafe sua da with a phin and separate glass of ice and sweetened, condensed, milk to prepare it. It's become typical to bring out a plastic cup with a film over it be a pointy straw. Pho Le Nguyen was no exception but I can't really hold the new normal against them. That said, it tastes like you'd expect, so if you really want a good Vietnamese coffee experience, hit up somewhere it's more of a priority. I didn't order any alcohol but it looked like they had a handful of decent taps behind the counter. I don't recall any evidence of cocktails. I was a bit taken aback when they had The 700 Club on one of the TVs and that would be grounds to avoid a place but they changed it unprompted quickly. It's a bit out of my way, having just dropped someone off at the airport, so I don't know if/when I'll be back, but it's good if you're nearby.

Imonee F.

Yelp
Must go , Their pho , papaya salad & salad rolls are ALL delicious. They are sweet people , great service , great food options , and spacious restaurant , nice ambiance to business.
google avatar

Jordan T.

Yelp
I've been here four times since Pho Le Nguyen's grand opening two weeks ago. The food has been consistently great, from Pho Dac Biet (Pho #1) to Wonton noodle soup, to eggrolls, to Com Dac Biet (R#1) -- all delicious. Pho Le Nguyen's Cafe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk) is out of this world delicious! The restaurant is beautifully decorated; the staff is exceptionally friendly. Very reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food served. I love Pho Le Nguyen, highly recommend!
google avatar

Margaux M.

Yelp
We went here with my family and toddler and they were very accommodating. The food is spectacular and the service was very good. I highly recommend it here. I'm vegan, and the tofu pho was perfect. Everything tasted very fresh and the ambiance is really lovely too. On a rainy Portland night, Pho Le Nguyen is your spot.

Hannah H.

Yelp
great service and food, also got egg rolls and milk teas My wife and I are split, I prefer this place but she prefers Pho Dalat down the road, either place you'll get amazing food

Vickie T B.

Yelp
Delicious. Friendly service. Nice interior design. They open 7 days a weeks. They give Discount 10% on Pho as the restaurant is grand opening.

Lexy D.

Yelp
Great food ! Great service every time I come , nice little atmosphere . Never had a problem when I come here , food is always fresh , hot and fast ! Im surprised they don't have long lines !

Yelp
Surprising new Vietnamese restaurant on sandy blvd. This is a diamond in the rough for sure and is worth the trip to one of the more shady areas of Portland.
google avatar

Ian M.

Yelp
Excellent food and very friendly and accommodating. This is where I go for pho. The broth is amazing. The spareribs are delicious as well. The establishment is nice and clean.

Yelp
This restaurant just opened up a few months ago and I couldn't be more excited. We have been here five or six times and the food is always incredible. If you live in Parkrose, this is the new restaurant to check out. It's also really nice to have really good food walking distance in the neighborhood. The service is always delightful. I 100% recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Gloria C.

Yelp
I saw it had a a 4.7 rating and thought this would be a good place. I was disappointed that I had to repeat myself that I wanted Thai basil - not cilantro. the waitress just look at me like I didn't know what I was saying. Salad rolls seemed like the wrapper was drying out. Our meals came and I had to go up to the front to ask the the Thai Basil. We were served and no one ever came to check of us. We were bit brought a bill, I didn't know we had to pay at the register. I know it a fairly new place and they are working out the "kinks", but customer service should be one of their main focus.

Yelp
Quick and sweet service! Food hits! It was a perfect hot meal on a cold Portland day!

Yunsong W.

Yelp
deliverous food, great service, nice ambiance. kids friendly. nice parking lot and behind the resturant
