Google
I got carry out. I'm very hungry and I havent even gotten through half my spring roll before stopping to rate this place low. The peanut sauce is weird and watery and not emulsified at all, and I swear they just gave me a cup of hot water for the "vegetarian" pho broth. These are my all time two favorite dishes and I've never been so disappointed. Now I'm left with tofu spring rolls with no sauce and vegetarian pho with no broth. Literally no flavor since the sauce and broth are bunk.

Found this little gem through Maps app and it exceeded my expectations. Don't let the little strip mall exterior fool you, the food is legit and the prices are reasonable. Will definitely be adding this to my list of go-to take out places. Google
Food was a bit bland. Chicken wings had no flavor, egg rolls lacked seasoning, and the noodles salad, the noodles were too soft for our taste.

Google
Overall very dirty restaurant. Ordered pho but noodle all stocked together and flat. Looked like cooked while before and just added soup. You can pull up junk of noodle ball at once. Soup has too much fat on it. Cleaners zero place. They put big bowl as a regular size on the menus but actually receive small bowl and less food portion charged regular price. Individual size price is not on the menu. Never suggest this place. Meat had more bad fat on it. 4star review online is not true

Google
Stopped in for a bite to eat here... We got two different bowls of Pho; a beef bowl and a seafood bowl. The freshness of what was served stood out quite significantly; both bowls were quite flavorful and it's funny because my mouth is watering as I'm writing this. It was great to be able to stop in, get served and contribute to what the people here do so well. Their menu shows that they have quite a bit more than what we've experienced to offer.

Google
The steak pho gave me food poisoning :( I really love pho and was craving it, so I ignored the bad reviews that this place had, but now I'm regretting it. Not worth the risk and $

Google
Great Vietnamese coffee (hot or cold). Tasty and crunchy chicken wings for less than $10. Inside ambience could be nicer but very friendly service.

Yelp
I'll just have a little bit. We got off work early on a Saturday and decided to get something light. Pho is light and really tasty. Well here the pho was tasty but not really light. I ordered the seafood pho. Plenty of fresh herbs to go with the large pieces of shrimp and a dozen fish balls. This went well with half a gallon of broth. There was so much that you can feed a family of four and still have left overs. Ok many not that many but it's a lot of food. Fresh veggies and plenty of herb made the aroma pleasant as the broth enters your mouth. Overall four stars. Food was good and the price reasonable. Could use an upgrade in the decor but really you're there to eat not to look. I got stuffed.
google avatar

Yelp
Pretty good. We got the vegetarian pho with a veggie broth. Good portion size but the broth lacked flavor. Also got the shrimp salad. Nice portion size again, and the sauce was good. The Thai tea was a really big serving size. I would come back here again!

Yelp
This was a small Vietnamese restaurant in the Midway Plaza of the Point Loma neighborhood. I stopped here after running some nearby errands knowing they were not going to be busy. Parking spaces in the plaza were plentiful during my late evening visit. Only one customer was seated among the tables that could hold around 40 people. The menu didn't seem as extensive as other pho spots, but it was a mom-and-pop operation. Appetizers, banh mi sandwiches (only four varieties), pho, rice dishes, vermicelli noodles, beverages, and desserts made up the categories. My choice was the vermicelli with grilled beef (bún bò nướng). The bowl of rice noodles contained shredded lettuce, cabbage, cucumbers, bean sprouts, mint herbs, pickled carrots and daikon, and roasted peanuts. A cup of vinaigrette fish sauce (nước mắm) was provided on the side. Upon first glance, all of the green veggies were buried on the bottom of the vessel. Only the peanuts and pickled carrots and daikon were visible on top with the beef and noodles. The flavors didn't stand out while the portion for the price was a bit undersized. I didn't leave Pho Little Saigon still feeling hungry, however I think there are better choices for this style of cuisine within a couple of miles of this place.

Yelp
How does this place even have 3.5 stars? I walked in and it was a mess. Didn't smell that great either. The guy at the counter was very nice though. My spring rolls were not great but I ate them because I paid for them. The wrap was gooey and the veggies inside were not fresh. The peanut sauce consistency was not good. It looked like someone put water and peanuts in a blender. I will not be back.

Yelp
Called in my order and it was easy. Ordered my favorite egg rolls, shrimp spring rolls, and combo Bun pork, shrimp and egg rolls to-go! Can't wait to eat this. Also, the boxes on the side is for to-go orders incase people are wondering and judging. They're a little "hole in the wall" but the best/authentic places are not perfect aesthetically but the food is sooo good you wouldn't care! It's quiet and there's parking but sometimes is taken over by the gym people so I park on the street to pick up my food.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is delicious and well prepared, they really take good care of you. The service always is on point. This is a true authentic pho spot. Haters need to calm down. Try it for yourself and enjoy in person.

Yelp
Another Pho shop nearby that we wanted to go to was closed so we ended up checking out Pho Little Saigon. This mom and pop shop is tucked away in a small shopping plaza on Midway Drive and can be hard to miss. The restaurant is tiny with less than 10 tables. As you make your way to the bathroom you'll get to pass by the kitchen and what seems like prep/storage. It might look like a mess but growing up Vietnamese. This is how exactly my house would look like. I was craving Bo Luc Luc (shaken beef) and glad to say this did not disappoint. Their fried rice was exactly how I like it, with just scrambled egg and green onion. The beef was flavorful, juicy, and garnished with fresh herbs. The portion was just right and felt like I was eating a home cooked meal. My boyfriend got the banh mi and he said it wasn't the best he had but still pretty good. The service was fast and friendly as we ordered, ate, and paid for our food all within 30 minutes. I'm glad we took this detour and tried a new Vietnamese spot here in Point Loma. I definitely want to come back for their Pho.

Yelp
Family ran noodle joint Broth was very clean ; yes very hole in the wall but the price can't be beat considering other options in the area ordered the number 8

Yelp
This is a small restaurant that's run by a husband and wife. The husband was super nice and service was really quick. We ordered 2 bowls of pho, a large special and a small rare steak, tendon, and tripe. The pho broth lacked the beef bone flavor and the rare steak was not even rare. I would give it 2 stars at most. I had to use the restroom before we left and found it unsanitary that I had to walk past the kitchen and prep area to get to the restroom. There was food being prepped on either side of me, exposed. They should have some sort of dividing partition. If I used the restroom before eating, I would have probably opted to go elsewhere. I really wanted to award 3 stars because the owner was extremely nice, but his wife's pho was pretty bad and the kitchen was unsanitary.

Yelp
My husbands chicken vermicelli bowl was not good. The chicken was so dry and hard. I tried eating a piece and it was hard to bite through...it was that over cooked. My steak pho wasn't the worst. But the broth was pretty oily which I didn't like. My noodles were also slightly over cooked and kind of mushy. While sitting in the restaurant we noticed this place appeared to be needing a good overall deep clean. The curtains hanging by the entrance door have very visible stains on them. The hand sanitizer bottles on the table looked dirty like as if people had sauce on their hands and used it many times over a long period of time and the sauce and grime built up and dried on the bottle. There was also some noisy banging/scraping sound nearly the entire time we dined there. It sounded like maybe someone was trying to use force to scrape a metal hood fan or something? The only time the banging/scraping sound wasn't happening was when the person working was out in the dining area taking orders, serving food, ringing up customers.

Yelp
Pho was delicious! We didn't have to add a thing broth was on point...vermicelli wasn't that good I didn't enjoy the egg rolls. I wish they wouldn't if charged 1.50 for veggies but it's ok wont order this next time.

Yelp
Not sure what's going on here. Showed up hungry and ready to eat. Nobody was there, empty restaurant. Ordered two simple plates and over 3o minutes later we were given small plates of weird textured meat and their spring rolls are gross.. I hate to leave a bad review but this is an honest review. Poor quality meats here, place appears to be run by one older man, this cannot be done alone, it takes a team. Won't be back and will not recommend to others. Sadly spent $30 just to throw the food away.

Yelp
Been coming here since this special little restaurant opened well over a decade ago and it is by far one of San Diego's hidden little gems. Their Chicken Pho is the best in town and they also slow cook their beef broth used for the beef pho's for hours, which is probably why both seem higher quality and flavor than other Vietnamese restaurants in the San Diego area. They also have a huge selection of authentic Vietnamese dishes and items. The owner is almost always there and he is the nicest guy. I am surprised this place is not always busy as the prices are also low with high quality in what you get. If I could give an extra star on this place I would.

Yelp
We recently just moved to San Diego, and wanted to have some pho. This was the first place we tried and it did not disappoint. The pork spring rolls were delicious and made fresh, they weren't just sitting in a fridge or freezer. I got the chicken pho, and it was delicious as well, the medium size will definitely make you full . We also got the coffee with condensed milk , and a club soda lemonade which were really delicious. As you can see we thought everything was delicious and would definitely come again.

Cody F.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing pho and excellent service. It is always extremely delicious and the food comes out in minutes. I knew my first time walking in here based on the environment that is was going to be insane.

Yelp
Good food, good service, homey vibe. Enjoyed very much!!! Had good coffee (I got double espresso with condensed milk) and must try lemon soda
google avatar

Dylan G.

Yelp
I ordered the pork and rice combo. My pork was a little over cooked, but flavorful. My fiancé got some pho and said that it was okay. I would definitely recommend giving it a try and deciding for yourself, but we will probably be trying different Vietnamese places other than Pho Little Saigon.

Yelp
A cute little pho resturant was home to my mom's first pho experience. It was phonominal! In San Diego on a mini vaca with my mom, I talked her into trying pho! She had her ideas of what Vietnamese food would be but she was pleasantly surprised. I had to take quick advantage of my mom's adventurous spirit and this was the closest pho place to us. Food I ordered the pork on rice noodles with cabbage and my mom ordered the meatball pho with rice noodles. For an appetizer we ordered the pork summer rolls. We were surprised that the ice tea we ordered was straight tea leaves in cold water. Perhaps Im missing something but I thought it was "regular" ice tea we ordered. Service & Location The service was great. Quick, efficient and friendly. The location was in a small strip mall and between other restaurants. I would return when in San Diego. Good food.

Yelp
The food was more approaching 4 star or at four star level. However the place really needs a makeover! It's like a small little taco shop, and not so much in a good way. I probably won't be back, just because so many places in this area are good and also have a bit nicer establishment. If you need a good Pho fix there are a lot of places to choose from in the immediate vicinity that are doing everything correctly. Don't get me wrong the place did have good food.. I just really wasn't a fan of the ambiance. If you like hole in the walls this may be for you. I tried the Pho and egg rolls, I thought they were tasty. Happy eating!!

Yelp
Pho-real? I got tricked again? I walked to my car after work and found a little "Grand Opening" flyer from Pho Saigon. Sadly, this is the second time I got tricked by a Pho place with their "Grand Opening" marketing tactics. I roll up with my co-worker and it just simply said "New Management". I decided to give it a go, even though I felt dumb for getting excited over a "new" pho joint. My initial reaction to reading the menu was... "hm, this place is targeted for whiteys" I noticed all the noodle soups had rare beef, slices of pork, or chicken. Only one soup had tripe, tendons, and mystery meatballs. I ended up getting the pho with all the odd meats and a sandwich to spit. I thought the food was just alright. Nothing really stood out to me. I would go back, but probably not anytime soon. A little about my credentials: I first got into cooking & food when I was in college. After being rejected by numerous girls and getting zero action, I decided it was time for a change. I needed a new makeover to boost my geeky, engineering image. I applied for a cooking position at a Mediterranean-Italian Restaurant near my home and learned to cook all sorts of pastas and dishes. I never became a professional chef, but I continue to enjoy & love food. 9 years later and 55 lbs heavier, I have a new passion for traveling and trying different foods around the world.

Yelp
I ordered the Bun Vermicelli with egg roll, pork and shrimp. Also ordered a Thai iced tea with boba. The portion was very small for $15. The pork was thick strips and mostly fat. Not the thin sliced lemongrass grilled pork I'm used to . The egg roll was ok. There was 2 very small overcooked shrimp with no flavor. There was also an eyelash in my dish. Did not eat any of the pork and when I saw the eyelash I couldn't finish. The Thai Iced Tea seemed watered down and wasn't great either. Not very many bobas. I do not recommend this place when there are so many other Vietnamese restaurants. We did not try the Pho so cannot review on that.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to come. I've been coming here for many many years now. This restaurant is owned by a husband and wife and they make delicious food and of course delicious pho.
google avatar

Tina V.

Yelp
Tasty vegetarian pho. Decent veggie egg rolls. I asked for no fish sauce and the person who took my phone order offered peanut sauce instead which I accepted. Got the food home, looking forward to the peanut sauce and found fish sauce instead. Check your pick up order for accuracy.

Yelp
Yes, I went to a pho joint and didn't eat pho. Pho gods, I've failed you. The good news is that what I did have was spectacular! I'm saving that fifth and final star for when I return and try the pho, which is the true gauge for a humble little place like this. So what did I have? The fresh pork and shrimp spring rolls and the fried egg rolls. The spring rolls were a bit smaller than most places but the price is right and the sizes still packs in a lot of the classic flavors that you'll find just about anywhere. What's that saying? Great things come in small packages? Yup, that's it! The friend egg rolls were perfection deep fried! I love these little suckers and always order a few extra pieces of the fresh lettuce to wrap them up (along with the mint) to lighten things up a bit. A few squirts of a brand name Asian hot sauce and you're stylin', yo! I'll be back for that pho...
google avatar

Kat V.

Yelp
I love how easy it is to order and pick up my food. The owners have always been super nice. The food taste great and we love Pho on cold nights and summer as well.

Ray B.

Yelp
Nice little Pho restaurant in the middle of the sports arena area. First time at this location. It was raining throughout the day, and the perfect meal for a rainy night is Pho. Checked yelp for the nearest location and I ended up here. I ordered the chicken Pho bowl with a side order of Spring rolls. Food came out in about 10 minutes. The chicken pho bowl had plenty of chicken. The flavor was good but not as good and rich as the beef pho bowls. The spring rolls were also good. Overall a good place for Pho if your in the area. Small dining area. Also the parking is very small in this busy part of sports arena. The service was good here. The place is older and could use some cleaning. The restrooms were also needing a clean up. Still a nice little place to stop by for some good pho.
google avatar

Johnny P.

Yelp
Rock solid spot. Very small but high quality. The broth was top niche and it's family owned. Will be back regularly!
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
This place is very old and dirty inside. I'm not from cali just here on vacation but this place was soooo over priced, not sure if that's average price but it definitely wasn't worth it. $6 for a 16oz Thai tea! That's wild! I know people make things differently but my spring roll wasn't very good. While adding some sauces into my peanut sauce there was already noodles inside it. It was like the sauce had been reused or they accidentally dropped noodles into my peanut sauce while making the rolls! Still grossed me out thinking about where this sauce had been before it was with me. The people who work their are nice but it's just not a good place to eat.
google avatar

Ari G.

Yelp
Good little spot, good service, pork bahn mi and mango smoothie hit the spot! Would recommend for those looking for a quick spot to eat.

Gabrielle D.

Yelp
The staff were kind and hospitable. The food and drinks were delicious. I would recommend them!
google avatar

Jen T.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE. OmG. Had pho on 7/4 because most pho closed. My son got food poison ever since. Diarrhea nd stomach ache until now. Pho has no pho smell and the meat arw total frozen junk meat and heat up microwave. And it is not cheap either. Run by a family but I mean if you can cooked lady don't cooked for people who will have to pay you to get sick. After dining, went to restroom and discovered it was disgusting kitchen area. If you don't believe, please go see it yourself. I don't know how they pass food inspection.
google avatar

Linda L.

Yelp
Everything was packaged nicely and the people are friendly but the taste is somewhat different from other pho's. The broth had a unique flavor that isn't my cup of tea
google avatar

Marissa S.

Yelp
BEST VEGGIE PHO IN TOWN! Also the kindest owners. We've been getting take-out from here a lot during COVID and they have given us not 1 but 2 reusable masks when we pick up food.
google avatar

Samantha G.

Yelp
Ordered to go and got the shrimp fried rice, chicken pho, and spring rolls. The pho broth had a lot of flavor and love how they shred the chicken breast meat. They give you a good amount of food and it's affordable. Will definitely come back to try out the rest of the menu.
google avatar

Stephanie D.

Yelp
The pho is is pretty good I prefer mine spicy The employees here are really friendly and welcoming!

Jazzy S.

Yelp
I really like pho, but the meat was inedible, got the flank steak. Lots of fat pieces looked gross, and tasted sour so I tossed it. Fried rice had alot to be desired. The owners were friendly. However, I was unimpressed and since I had to throw one entire meal out, I give it 2 stars. Maybe they are having tough times getting quality ingredients during covid. I'll give it one more chance, when things pick up

Ryne V.

Yelp
This is a little family run restaurant with about 8 tables in a strip mall on Midway. My family and I are from near Fresno and we chose that place because it was convenient. We stayed by Seaport Village. Well, the experience was alright. It could have been better. The price was high for their food, the father had wet hands when handling our plates and bowls, and the food could have been better: 1. the pho needed more meat, no meatballs, and the size was a medium that was a large in other places 2. the grill pork plate was plain with rice and grill pork only...the grill pork was hard Being a mom and pap shop, your quality and quantity must be above average. I wanted more in all my dishes. You gotta make people want to come back. Unfortunately, we won't! Did not stand out to me when comparing to other pho shops that I've been to!
google avatar

Jodie L.

Yelp
Not the best pho I've had. But definitely not the worst! It's alright. And when I say alright, I mean, can get kind of pricey but you'd still eat it because it's... Not bad. Don't try to get anything crazy, I suggest the spring rolls and just a regular pho. Not bad for a pho enthusiast.
google avatar

Kaimi Y.

Yelp
Great food and service as always! Small hole in the wall mom and pop Vietnamese food. I haven't had one bad thing here yet! Recently got the chicken and vegetable pho and a bbq chicken sandwich. Both great! The best thing about this place is how cheap and convenient it is!
google avatar

Grey D.

Yelp
What the Heo? I thought this place was a Cambodian restaurant but new owners serving Vietnamese pho! That's funny, because the selection is limited to only rare steak, well done flank, and meatballs. (no tripe, tendon,..) but they do have chicken, shrimp, seafood and vegetable pho with tofu. The menu mostly have lot of rice combinations and noodle dish so I go back to try that. They even have banh mi sandwich so it look nice place have lunch. I get the rare steak pho- nice broth but the steak already cook when come to table. (so it not really rare steak) The broth was super hot and the herbs fresh speaking of hot try the chili paste in oil it make my mouth burn! :-x This a nice place for lunch- they close at 9 pm so no late night dinner my GF prefer Tajima for late night noodle fix anyway. Only three star now, but since they just open only two days most likely they going to work out kinks and be better for future visit but for now 3 star AOK :D

Yelp
On vacation so we decided to try the pho restaurant near the hotel. Lots of parking space. The place is small with 9 tables but feels big because of the glass windows and door. The floor and tabke were cleaned. We ordered the special pho,veg pho and fresh rolls. Everything was fresh and tasty. The food tasted authentic, very fresh and hot. Service was very good based on the 1 owner who took your orders... It is a family run business.
google avatar

Yelp
The coconut water is SO GOOD with the coconut meat in it. It's not a fresh cut coconut but it's still damn good
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Just had the BEST pho from here! The food was so flavorful, delicious, and hot... and the sweet owner surprised us with 2 reusable masks. Was such easy takeout since they gave us our dinner in a cardboard box for travel. No spills. This will definitely be our new go-to spot! So happy!

Bill S.

Yelp
Amazing!! The best pho and spring rolls in San Diego! The couple that owns the restaurant are always so kind, and the place is always clean and organized! highly recommend!
google avatar

Mike A.

Yelp
this is one them places that are not to worried about what the place looks like but they take pride on what the food taste like. the spring rolls were nice and soft and the large soup was very tasty. i will be coming back here.
google avatar

Pauline L.

Yelp
I think they are tailoring to a more health-conscious crowd, since the menu does offer no-fat broth, which is a nice option to have, even if you don't want it. No complaints about them only offering rare steak, it's usually the only kind I order anyway. It is a tad more expensive than other Pho joints. I also got the shrimp vermicelli. It was strange, the noodles weren't very palatable. They were really dry, kind of rubbery almost. They taste cheap. And the Nuc mam (fishsauce) wasn't that great. A little watered-down (for the less authentic people, maybe?). Either way, I make it better. The staff was really nice, and they packed everything for me to go in a nice little box, which I appreciated, since those broth containers can easily just spill over in the car ride home.
google avatar

Jenn C.

Yelp
Pho is pretty good, eggrolls are alright, although not particularly memorable. Service is fast and friendly. I'm not picky about my pho, but on the other hand, it's kind of hard for pho to be amazing to me. I've been here a couple of times, and will continue coming here. I would probably go with the regular pho, and avoid the vegetarian one, as it is a bit bland (which typically is the case for most pho places).
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
After recently moving back to San Diego, I have been in search of a pho joint near my office. This was the 2nd place I've tried (first was Pho Point Loma) and I definitely like the food here. The ambiance is a tad hole in the wall and this place is small, but the food was good and really hit the spot. I had the Pho Tai, an order of spring rolls, and a soda chanh. The pho was the perfect amount - I almost finished the whole thing! I read in someone's review that their portions are huge, but maybe they got an XL bowl or extra noodles. Either way, it was perfectly portioned for me. I was only able to finish one spring roll and I took the other one to go. It made the perfect afternoon snack! I really liked their peanut sauce - it actually tasted like peanuts instead of hoisin sauce with peanuts sprinkled on it. Personally, I'm rooting for this place because I like to support small businesses, but I think it's going to be hard to compete with other Vietnamese places that are better lit and cater to the less-Asian-food-savvy San Diegans.

Yelp
This place is my favorite place to get pho! I like to get the Rare Pho steak bowl. The food is awesome and the owners are great to!
