Google
Fast delivery from order to table, however be sure to ask for everything including extra water or drinks the attention to patrons is lacking. I do however think it’s a Grubhub or DoorDash go to. The Pho was full of flavor vs some locations where you can tell if it was simple water for the noodle or seasoned and here it was full of flavor. The special fried rice was amazing and a must order. We will try this again but we will order in.

Google
Does not taste good. Not authentic, the ginger is missing out of the pho, its just salty broth. The meat tastes old. Even the water taste like it had bleach in the cup. I was very disappointed in this place. The prices were way overpriced for what it is. These reviews are Lies or they are just American people that don’t know what real Vietnamese food is supposed to taste like. It was not good at all. Sorry.

Google
Huey is amazing! The food, the atmosphere, everything was perfect. Huey went above and beyond to make my family feel welcomed. He explained the dishes, advised on the authentic way to eat everything. He even made my kids special chopsticks. I highly recommend Pho Mai, especially this location. You’re missing out if you don’t stop by. Truly a hidden gem.

Google
Amazing every single time we go. You MUST order the banh xeo or the crispy, savory pancake. It's their specialty and it's there for a reason. I can eat the entire thing by myself. It's huge. Worth the time and money. Pho Mai is also reasonably priced which is great to see. Our go to is the beef meatball pho or bun bo hue. I would love to try their other items available soon because everything has been absolutely delicious every time.

Google
Enjoyed my great Big bowl of Pho while traveling in California.

Google
Fantastic Vietnamese restaurant in Chandler, AZ. We tried a few of their authentic dishes and they were all great. The banh xeo was very crispy and has amazing coconut milk flavor. The banh cuon was hot and tender, stuffed with aromatic mushrooms and pairs perfectly with the fish cakes. And Pho Mai’s pho is a must have, delicious hot broth with rare steak. So good!

Yong S.

Google
I had the extra large #1 Pho. Had a meatball, beef brisket slices, tripe. The pho was a very tasty. The broth was rich and I can taste the time and effort that went into it. The rice noodles were great in texture. The meat was good. At this point I just wanted a dine in experience. The store owner is nice. We had a chat about the previous owners. I will go back again!

Google
Pho were awesome, Seafood soft noodles my favorite and Spring rolls awesome, wife and daughter says the same. Daughter loves the Vermicelli w/ grilled pork chop!!.. I'll be back

Yelp
Pho Mai is a Vietnamese and Chinese fusion spot with a very solid, comforting, and clean tasting menu. Service is friendly and kind. If you dine in, they will offer to show you how to eat certain things if it's your first time trying Vietnamese food. Because they are Vietnamese and Chinese fusion, their pho broth is actually more milky and rich compared to the traditional clear broth types. The milkiness comes from the broth making process. It's not actually dairy! If you're looking for more traditional style pho, this may not be for you, but it's still really tasty if you're willing to give it a try. Their nuoc mam (dipping sauce) is on the spicier side. My partner loves it. This is another thing that makes Pho Mai a little different compared to some of the other classic Vietnamese spots in the valley. Usually, they are pretty consistent, but the one time we made a to go order, our thit nuong (grilled pork) was not the best. We unfortunately got really fatty pieces and while I love fatty meats when they're cooked right, it ended up being really tough and hard to eat all together with my meal. Otherwise, we've had great experiences dining in. They're located in a plaza and we've never had issues finding parking close by to the restaurant. They can accommodate medium sized groups. If you were ever looking for something a little different than your usual style Vietnamese cuisine, Pho Mai is definitely worth visiting at least once!

Yelp
I love bun Bo hue, their's is delicious! My husband got the pork noodle salad he said it was good. For appetizers we go shrimp spring rolls which were also very good. Service was great and the restaurant itself was very clean. I'll return!

Yelp
4.5 we had it delivered. Jam packed with flavor! The sandwich had the perfect combo of flavors in it. We ate it all! I would definitely want to try the food in person. I want to try the steak pho! That will be my next order in person :)
google avatar

Yelp
Pho Mai was excellent. Absolutely excellent. We ordered the banh xeo which was huuuuuge. It was probably one of the best banh xeo's I've ever eaten. I always get the pho dac biet and the broth was extraordinary. I could have bathed in it. The cafe sua da was a little too bitter for me.

Yelp
We were in the mood for Vietnamese food and happened to be in the area. As it was one of those hot Arizona day, we decided to pass on the pho. Therefore, we ordered their lemongrass chicken and crispy tofu and both were both delicious. We also took stir-fried noodles to go. Very satisfying!! We will return to try their pho on a cooler day and update my review. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!!
google avatar

Morgan M.

Yelp
Sooooo expensive for what you get. A medium pho soup for $17?? And if you want extra veggies it's almost $4 extra. I paid $20 for a bowl of soup. In this economy! Ridiculous!!!!
google avatar

Bailey T.

Yelp
Came here on a random Wednesday afternoon by myself, was seated right away and helped right away. Staff was very friendly and asked if I had any questions with the menu. I ordered the steak pho, eggrolls, and crab puffs. Everything was delicious and came out fast. This is a veryhomey, authentic Vietnamese restaurant that I would recommend.

Yelp
Today is my 2nd time eating here, and all have have to say is "Bomb!". This place has rocked it with the service, portions and flavor. Keep it up!
google avatar

Yelp
By far the worst shrimp pho fried dumplings ,I have had so far. The soup it's self was so bland I literally had to use 5 sriracha sauces 3 hoisin sauce and still not the greatest. Dumplings are also bland the their homemade sauce needs improvement. Definitely not worth the 30.00dllrs I just spent. Very disappointed. I should just drove the 15 miles to my usual spot.

Yelp
This is the absolute best Viet restaurant in the Phoenix area, in our opinion. We are from Orange County, CA, and searched forever to find a Viet place that could live up to our standards :) After trying more than 8 places, we finally found Pho Mai 2 on Ray Road. The Pho is top-notch, the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) is incomparable in all of Phoenix, and the Banh Xeo (Viet Crepe) is to die for. Add to this the wonderful welcoming service and the clean facilities, and we have made this place our go-to, both for ourselves and to entertain anyone visiting us from out of town.
google avatar

Crystal T.

Yelp
The special Pho never disappoints, it is delicious and the flavors are consistent. The presentation of the food and the freshness is top tier.

Aubrey B.

Yelp
Great service, clean bathrooms, food was delish and thai tea was amazing! Price was not that bad either.

Yelp
Not a bad spot for Vietnamese food. It's not that close to us so we wouldn't go out of our way to return but if you're nearby you should try it! Plenty of seating and kind service. We got their beef rib pho, chicken wings, and steamed rice rolls. The beef rib pho was hot and flavorful. The beef rib was decent but not fall off the bone soft so that was disappointing. Noodles weren't overdone which we've come across a few times at other establishments. Chicken wings were delicious - crispy on the outside but tender inside. Husband doesn't normally like fish sauce but he liked the dipping sauce here. Banh cuon was good but the portion was quite small - loved how flavorful the fish sauce was - at a lot of places its really sweetened to serve Western tastes but this one was on the more savory side which was nice! The last two Vietnamese places we tried for the first time had microwaves going off multiple times while prepping our food - here no microwave beeping!! Leads me to believe everything is freshly prepared which is a good thing :) For the price, portion sizes could be increased for all dishes.

Yelp
Ice cold Pho, broth wouldn't cook the meat. Food tasted stale and old. I threw it away.... Never go there.

Donna B.

Yelp
if you're looking for a cozy place and good pho this is the place ! The service from Ms.Mai was wonderful it was already closing time and was kind enough to help out after everyone left. Food 10/10 with good flavors and made with lots of love !
google avatar

Yelp
I LOVE this Pho!! It's hands down my favorite. I usually get the Rare Steak Pho (Pho Tai) and the Crispy Potstickers (Quai Vac Chien) delivered and they have never disappointed. Whenever I'm starting to feel a little under the weather I get an order of this and feel 100% back to normal the next day. Love this restaurant!!

Yelp
Craving Pho I thought I try out new place. Well.. Ordered shrimp fried roll.. Nice and crispy outside and tasty. Ordered beef rib Pho since it was first time I've seen it on a menu. Also ordered chicken fried rice. As I was waiting for my Pho it dawned on me that rib meat was probably the ones they used for broth.. And to my surprise it was... Very chewy and no flavor what so ever.. How disappointing considering the price war bit more than other Pho places.. $14.99 for small bowl. Pho broth wasn't bad.. I know I came right as they opened but my broth shouldn't have been border line lukewarm. Fried rice well... Looked very blend and rice wasn't even mixed properly. It tasted like it looked... Overall it wasn't horrible but it wasn't good enough for me to say I'll come back and try something else.
google avatar

Bert W.

Yelp
Had Pho here for the first time and the service was wonderful. Genuinely friendly and the soup was delish!! We'll be back!
google avatar

Trang F.

Yelp
The place can use a face lift and it can smell a bit stale there, but it's a good spot to go for some authentic Vietnamese food. Last time we were there, we were treated to a good bowl of pho dac biet and "real" lemongrass chicken, not like some other place (hahumh...pho Chandler, which made theirs like teriyaki chicken). The parking lot was taken over by the Hoosier breakfast cafe, but don't let that stop you from coming here if you are in the mood for good bowl of pho!

Yelp
Pho Mai 2 restaurant has many delicious dishes. My favorite dishes are the crispy catfish, papaya salad and sour soup. The dishes are beautifully decorated. I will come back many more times.
google avatar

Hayley L.

Yelp
Flavor of the steak pho was great, however, my raw meat came frozen and the broth wasn't able to cook it properly.
google avatar

Lori C.

Yelp
Great little spot for Pho and other Vietnamese dishes. It was our first time trying this place since our regular pho place is closed until January. Hubby had the special pho. I had the vermicelli with pork, shrimp & and egg roll. Food was delish & fresh. Just wish they served the fresh lettuce, herbs, veggies, & vinegar sauce with their egg rolls like other places. The just came plain with sweet chile sauce. The thai tea was yummy! Overall the food was good. We will def be back to try other menu options.
google avatar

Jackie F.

Yelp
Amazing food, great portion sizes. It's still good when ordered through the delivery app and has to travel for 20 minutes. We enjoyed everything very much.
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
tl;dr Skip the vegetarian pho. You can't go wrong with the wonton crab puffs or Mai's vermicelli. Mediocre service. Gf and I came in for dinner on a Saturday, it wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately and our orders were taken soon after. Our appetizer and two entres came out within 5-10 min, but hers was wrong. Two out of three ain't bad? My vegetarian pho was bland. Mixing in the wonton dipping sauce and Hoisen sauce made it a bit more palatable. I ended up finishing off my gf's Mai's vermicelli, wish I got that instead. We didn't see our server after our food was served, we had to flag someone down for the check. I usually take my leftovers home, but not this time. Don't think I'll be coming back, sorry Mai.
google avatar

Den O.

Yelp
Large serving. Good portions of meat. The flavor of the broth is kind of bland but overall, I enjoyed it. I would definitely return soon.
google avatar

Jeremy S.

Yelp
Great good. You have to specify no pork with the shrimp spring roll but they're very tasty. The noodles are kind of tough at times but the broth is to die for. Love it !! All around it's a pretty good Pho spot and I'll be back.
google avatar

Darya S.

Yelp
I came here just for tofu spring rolls. I had a serious craving. Theirs were good! The peanut sauce was thick and tasty. The spring rolls was mainly tofu with three slices of tofu. It was ready for takeout within 10 minutes. The inside is extremely casual so I would say to try to do take it out or come for a very low-key lunch. I'll have to come back and try their larger Vietnamese dishes.
google avatar

Jamie R.

Yelp
Finally tried this spot out and I'll definitely be coming back! I ordered it to go and once I arrived there were quite a few tables full for the lunch hour. They packed everything for nicely and secured for my order. I was in such disbelief by how much food I got for the price! I de odd to put all of it together and had to use a huge takeaway container to fit it all! The broth was so good. There was so much I had leftovers for the next day. The Thai tea was great and a sweetness I was craving. The service was great, the women at the front were very nice. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
We visited Pho Mai for the first time a month or so ago. The food was fresh and hot when we received it and was tasty. We tried some new Vietnamese dishes that we have never tried before because we've never been here before and were pleased with what we got. We've been to this facility years ago when it was another restaurant so it was kind of strange to be here. The place was a little dark and slightly worn but everything appeared to be clean. We were there for an early dinner so we were the only people in the restaurant. There were a few people that came in to get takeout so they had a steady stream of business coming through the door. It was good to see that they have support from the local community. I don't know how long this business has been here but I wish them much luck! I haven't been so good about taking and sharing food photos but will try to do better going forward. We'll have to pay them another visit to give them another updated review.

Yelp
Better than your average Pho restaurant! I got the meatball & steak Pho~ I really liked their meatballs, they're unique with kind of a pork flavor. We also got the spring rolls which were good. My girlfriend got the beef vermicelli bowl which she liked. I've eaten at a lot of Pho restaurants in San Diego but not a lot in AZ (This was my first here). Even in SD this place would be above average. Overall if you're looking for good Vietnamese I'd say this place does the trick. The staff was all wearing masks & the service was attentive. The ambiance was pretty standard for a pho restaurant. Overall a pretty good experience & I wouldn't mind going here again. I'm going to continue to scout around AZ to find the best of the best~ but overall, recommended. Happy eating
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
Great Pho, great service, and great environment! The Pho Dac Biet is especially good during the cold!
google avatar

Lori H.

Yelp
I ordered BBQ pork fried rice. The kitchen made a mistake and cooked the combo fried rice. No big deal. They removed the shrimp from the top and asked me if I minded that it had chicken in it along with the pork I ordered. They offered to remake it if that was unacceptable. It's no biggie to me, so I accepted it. I also ordered the combo appetizers. Best egg rolls I've had in 40 years. Staff is kind and friendly. It's pretty quiet in here for a Sunday lunch time. No background music. The hot tea was served a little weirdly (see picture) but it was okay. Very good food.
google avatar

Margarita V.

Yelp
This place was incredible. The staff was very friendly, all of them. Their lemonade is made from scratch, delicious. The whole time we where there they kept getting to go orders so that shows how good they are. Our waitress was very nice and accommodated us well. Overall the vibes are very homey, you can tell they care about the people that go eat there. Can't wait to go back again!
google avatar

Alvina T.

Yelp
This is my favorite Vietnamese place that I've found so far in the valley. The quality of the food and the ambience is exactly what you'd want and expect from a good, homey viet spot. Their pho did not disappoint, very aromatic and comes with all the fixins like bean sprouts, basil, jalapeño slices, and lime. One of they're specialties here is the banh xeo! Be warned, they won't always make this dish, especially when they're busy because it is more labor intensive. So if you catch them at a good time, definitely get it! For those of you new to viet cuisine, banh xeo is a savory Vietnamese style crepe with filling inside and comes with a dipping sauce and various greens for wrapping. You eat this with your hands and it WILL get messy, well worth it!! The service is friendly here and they recommended I try the canh chua with ca kho to next (sweet and sour soup with braised fish cooked in clay pot). It's a bit of a drive for me but I always can't wait to come back here. I've noticed that many Vietnamese places throughout the valley will charge you (imho) an arm and a leg for a bowl of pho, but this place is reasonable. Granted, I'm spoiled coming from Philadelphia where you can find a multitude of high quality Vietnamese food for comparatively much lower prices.
google avatar

Matt D.

Yelp
Ordered the pho ga (chicken pho), to-go. The broth was rushed -- it lacked flavor, it was mostly clear and very light in color. They also don't serve their pho with sriracha or hoisin. Everything was good but not great. Going to go back to my other preferred pho places in the valley.
google avatar

Ari A.

Yelp
Don't bother with the egg rolls it was $6 for 2 very cold and stale egg rolls.I found a bug in my pho as well, was so excited for this place and was very disappointed
google avatar

Dionne Y.

Yelp
Just dined at Pho Mai Ray Rd. It's best pho around, excellent. The meat was fresh. The lemon was fresh and juicy. The vegetables was crisp and flavorful. Service 5 star. Youtube videos showing beaches in Vietnam. It will be our family's new pho spot. Check it out, you won't be dissatisfied.
google avatar

Dawn M.

Yelp
Customer service was meh but the food was bomb. If that was a bit better I'd add another star. After ordering, my partner's order came out first, then I waited another 5 minutes on mine but it turned out not to be order. Then I waited another 10-15 minutes for my dish. The vermicelli bowl was filling and refreshing. The crab Rangoons were average, but I'd rather get the fried egg rolls instead for an appetizer. Don't recommend the veggie pho because it didn't have much flavor in the broth.
google avatar

Isabel S.

Yelp
Order: #11 Special Phó & #24 Special Vermicelli are both very flavorful and delicious. This is my 3rd time here. Flavor is consistently on point. Customer service is always always great. Everyone is happy & helpful; I highly recommend it if you are in the area!
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
We have only ordered this as delivery, so I cannot comment on the actual restaurant itself. We ordered the pho and they think I had four to go orders and separate the noodles and the soup. It's basically a build your own. Everything was perfect and the broth is so delicious. We have since ordered several times and it has been consistently good.
google avatar

Kyle N.

Yelp
My friend has been here and recommended us for lunch. Thejr bun bo hue is very good and with extra noodle it comes in a hugh bowl. Their crispy egg noodle is also tasty. I would recommend it!

Xinyi H.

Yelp
AMAZING SPRING ROLLS AND PHO!!! 15/10 experienceI went with a group of my close friends and we all had a great time! Thank you so much for the good food!

John B.

Yelp
The Pho with seafood was very good, the chicken Pho was good however the chicken pieces need to be cut smaller. Also they need to add a child's portion Pho to their menu. The calamari was so-so and the crab puffs were disappointing. We will try it again. Service was okay, ambiance bare bones
google avatar

Jessica D.

Yelp
This place has great prices and very friendly customer service but the PHO is missing flavor and I was really disappointed with the portion you receive. The fish sauce was very diluted and water down and I can understand some seasonings may be to pungent for a certain demographic but I am look for that authentic real PHO and fish sauce flavor and I didn't find it here.
google avatar

Matthew M.

Yelp
I stopped in here because I was craving some Pho and hadn't been out to a restaurant in months due to The coronavirus. They were very friendly and the place was extremely clean. They wore masks, provided masks For guests that needed them, offered hand sanitizer and overall provided a very nice experience. They were quick to seat me and bring me some ice cold water that had been infused with fresh fruit. It was delightful. I ordered some Pho and they were quick to deliver a big bowl of the best beef pho I've had in a long time. I will certainly be back any time I'm craving some good pho. They had several other excellent options on the menu that I also look forward to trying. I really appreciate their clean and well organized menu. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I'll be recommending this place to all my friends.
google avatar

Yuki R.

Yelp
The restaurant isn't that clean and none of the workers had masks on. The Egg Rolls were not crispy as I usually like so it was more of a soft texture. The wonton crab puff filling was very flavorful and creamy. The wonton however wasn't crispy. Very soft and it made me wonder if it was done. The Thai iced tea was delicious. It was sweet but what I expect from Thai iced tea. The Pho was satisfying. The soup was a little greasy and oily to a point you could see and taste the excessiveness. There was plenty of meat so no complaints there. Overall, this place was good. Would come again after it's much safer with covid restrictions.

Jay T.

Yelp
Best Pho in AZ. I was happy when I saw the restaurant was half full on a Monday night and most of the customers were Vietnamese; it indicated that it is an authentic restaurant. The service was perfect; the owner talked to us and explained how the pho broth was cooked. Pho 5/5: clear deep savory broth with a bit fatty. No bad beefy smell; I can tell the beef bones were well cleaned multiple times during the cooking. I also requested a small bowl of green scallion in beef fat to enrich the flavor. The beef rib was so satisfying. Crab paste noodle soup (bun rieu cua) 4/5: clear, lightly seasoned. Good crab paste. Pork steamed rice roll (banh cuon) 3.5/5: fresh bean sprout and vegetable. The steam roll is good but not as soft as I expected. Fish sauce is ok; I think they need to improve the formula. Regardless, Bomboba in Glendale is still the king of banh cuon in AZ. I would come back to try the Hue lemongrass beef noodle soup (bun bo Hue) next time as the owner Mai strongly recommended it. She said Pho and Bun bo Hue are the signatures here.
google avatar

Darron N.

Yelp
The Pho broth at Pho Mia is sold and I would say in the top 3 in the area, I prefer tendon and meatballs and this is my go to for this combination. I like the rolls and they are as good as most places within a few mile radius, however I do think all the Pho houses in the area could improve the rolls that they offer in one way or another.
google avatar

Candis J.

Yelp
First, I ordered the Oxtail Pho and there was a tiny spider in my noodles. Yes, a spider. It's possible it came from the greens they put in my container but I don't know. Secondly, they gave me ONE oxtail. Very disappointed.
