The Newest Restaurants In Philadelphia - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Now with their second brick-and-mortar in the Northeast, this shop has all the Vietnamese staples: summer rolls, a handful of bánh mì, and more noodle soups than we can count (it’s actually 30. We’re not that lazy)." - candis mclean, alison kessler

Google
Pretty decent place, but the Bun Bo Hue wasn't hot, not enough broth or meat. The flavors are pretty light here overall, not the hearty bowl of soup that you can get in Adams Ave or Washington Ave. The meat texture was just off-putting, hard and thick processed meat slices, and mostly bones provided. The meat tastes like it was just boiled in water separately because it had no flavor. The Bahn Mi was decent but dry, and stir fried rice was just greasy with little flavor. The previous owner and soup was pretty horrible, and this one is better but nothing I would revisit.

It’s very beautiful. The food was amazing our waiter gave us free fried dumplings which were amazing!!! The sauce was sweet with a little spice, a great mix! We ordered pork pho and by the smell I can already tell it was tasty. I usto come here a lot and it looked different with a different owner but the new atmosphere and people did not disappoint amazing food and thank you to our waiter for being very attentive, kind, and friendly!!

Google
Great food😊. Great service😊. Better than the last owner. They really cleaned the place. The previous owner never clear their air. The whole place used to smell like five years old toilet that never cleaned. Now it smells great and food is even better. I recommend this place. Food is way better than before. I ordered the pork chop rice and the number 51 noodles. They are absolutely delicious. 😋

Stopped in while shopping at the Market in the same complex. I ordered three orders of Shrimp summer rolls with no pork Made fresh and they were fatties. Much better than the ones at other NE Vietnamese place. The staff was very nice to me

Yelp
Bo. Luc. Lac. I drove 54 minutes up I95 for this stuff. IYKYK when you find a place with this kind of delicious food, you come back! I originally went to their other location(near Franklin Mills) , but decided to come here because it was attached to the International market. No, literally. If you are walking out to get some fair at the market, just make a sharp right upon leaving and you are there! The parking was tight! But they share a Parking lot with the market. The Staff were very friendly! And although from outside you can't tell..the inside was super clean! As for my dish, It was a thing of dreams. Flavorful, salted properly. The rice was fresh. the little veggies on the side almost didn't make it back up I95. All in all this was a great restaurant & well worth the trip.

Yelp
If anything, this replacement for Pho Lei Li in the First International Market building just off the Boulevard at St. Vincent's Street, is an upgrade of that respected Vietnamese house. True, prices were way higher reflecting the impact of restaurant inflation, but the quality was there, our Summer Rolls zoftig and Banh Mi larger and packed with flavor in lightly toasted crunchy baguette rolls. Service was efficient and attentive. The owner greeted us, and seeing my Eagles gear offered his support for a Super Bowl win and a 10% discount. He returned to our table to check our satisfaction as we chowed down. The Roasted Pork and Roasted Beef Banh Mis were excellent- loaded with meat, carrot, onion, cucumber and daikon w light aioli. Among the best we have enjoyed on the East Coast. We also sipped on hot VN coffee with condensed milk. So strong, savory and thick that it totally focused my mind on the intensity of the moment. Pho Nam Giang is going to be a winner in Northeast Philadelphia and beyond.

Yelp
Pho Nam Giang expanded to the Mayfair area, and they did not disappoint!! I got their Pho House Special while I was there, and it just hit the spot. It was filling, warm, and hearty (would highly recommend).

Yelp
One thing I always enjoy is some quality pho and this is a place with quality options. This is also one of the few places that have options on the broth between chicken, beef and veggie. They have a wide array of options to choose from, I got some seafood ramen and it was fresh, delicious and steaming. They recently reopened and I think it's a place worth stopping by. Walking in the staff greeted us and gave a homily feel, the ambiance was an open space with self seating. Any questions we had the staff answered and was helpful. They had a TV so you had some entertainment while you ate. They weren't too busy while we dined in but i did notice it was a lot of to go orders being picked up while in the restaurant, so I'm guessing the people have caught on. Overall, if you're in the area and want some Vietnamese cuisine it's in a shopping center that's easy to get too!
