The Bun Bo Hue and Beef Pho were both super tasty. I also had the fried egg banh mi. It was really good, though the baguette wasn’t as crispy as I expected.

Google
Pho Nom Nom has been my go-to spot for years. My first bowl of pho ever? Right here, back in 2013 at their Rockville location. Now, with their newer Gaithersburg spot closer to me, I still keep coming back. Their Pho Nom Nom #1 Special is undefeated—loaded with everything (tái, chín, nạm, gầu, gân, sách), perfect broth, and all the right flavors. I’ve tried plenty of pho spots in the DMV, but this one always wins me over. Great price, excellent service, and consistency that never disappoints. If you love pho, this is the spot. If you haven’t been yet, fix that. 🔥🍜

OMG obsessed - this is the hole in the wall gem I’m always looking for! 😋 this restaurant is in a strip mall and doesn’t look like much, but the inside is nicely decorated, the staff are lovely and the food is AMAZING! I ordered the dăc biêt and the grilled shrimp and marinated pork were PERFECTION! The owner also gave me a taste of their broth for the pho with organic pepper, which was delicious. Strong recommend! 😋

Google
Food: Delicious fried wonton, fried shrimp. Savory pho noodles . Tasty spicy beef noodles. Cleanliness: table was dirty, crumbs allover the seats, had to waved the waitress down to come over clean them. Surprised they didn’t feel the need to clean it after the previous customer 👎🏼 Service: foods came out fast. Not much communications otherwise. Atmosphere: standard, nothing stood out Value: even though the food were pretty tasty, but $17.99 for a small size noodle is kinda pricey. And to be clear, their small is really small. Overall, not bad, but there are better ones.

Google
Excellent pho. We used to go to Pho 75 in Rockville but now we found a new spot closer to home. The S1A on the menu is delicious and so are the pho and bang mi. The only reason that I did not out 5 stars for service is because the first time that we went they left out the bean sprouts, basil, lime, and condiments. The second time they were somehow our of raw meat.

Google
Pho broth is good I ordered the P1 super large size and it really felt like a large with extra noodles in a bigger bowl really Wasn't much meat if you even look at the photo. So guess save your money on getting a super large and order a large with Extra meat

Very clean place, great atmosphere, the service was very appropriate, the automated assistant was a very quirky touch in a good way! I will definitely come back! Delicious food.

Google
I had a wonderful first time experience at Pho Nom Nom. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is so adorable. The staff is super friendly, even their little service robot was so polite! I am a vegan and my husband is not, there were plenty of options for both of us. I definitely will be back!

Yelp
I only have good things to say about this place! Let's start with the pho - absolutely fantastic. The broth was rich and aromatic, clearly simmered for hours to develop that deep, satisfying flavor. Adding a squeeze of fresh lime, a few sprigs of basil, and a touch of their garlic chili sauce really elevated it to another level. I appreciated the different size options. The spring rolls were another winner. Perfectly crispy and light, with a filling of fresh, vibrant vegetables. You could taste the quality of the ingredients. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and inviting. The layout has a good mix of seating options to accommodate different groups. There's a cute robot server that brings the dishes to the table, and we had a laugh over it saying that something was blocking its way, and that it would lose its job if the food wasn't brought to the table soon. The (human) service overall was prompt and efficient, just what I want at a pho restaurant. Overall, this restaurant is a gem. The food is top-notch, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is on point. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and comforting bowl of pho. Free parking lot.

Yelp
Best spot for Pho away from NYC. I love this place! Pho Nom Nom is definitely my go to for whatever reason. The service is super fast and the waiter always greet you with a smile and ready to take your order. I always go for the P1 when in the mood for Pho. The restaurant is clean, neat and and it tends to be super busy in the weekends, it is worth the wait for a table. I have also ordered out and the food comes fresh and warm.

Yelp
Rounded to 4.5. We enjoyed our experience. A classic good pho place in the area - the meat is the highlight of the pho here hands down. The service is quick and they have a fun robot that brings the food.

Yelp
We came on a weekday for lunch and it was busy. We ordered the S1 bun bo hue dac biet, S2a hu tieu tom thit, B6 chanh muoi and B13 sinh to bo (avocado smoothie). The food was good, and the large is quite large. My partner got the SL bun bo hue however it was more broth and a decent amount of noodles and protein. The blood cubes were fresh and good, but the other protein weren't and even seemed old like it was from yesterday's batch. Service was good, however a slight wait on food and drinks. Prices are similar to their Rockville location, so slightly overpriced in my opinion. It's located in a plaza so plenty of parking space compared to the other location.

Yelp
This place lives up to its name! Delicious, large portions of pho with excellent broth. Vietnamese coffee was excellent. Plenty of tables and it was easy to get a seat during lunch. The server we had didn't speak English very well so occasionally it was difficult to communicate. Service was efficient though, except there were a lot of people paying at the same time so it took ages to get the check.

Yelp
Update 08/18/2024 I came back again and service was much faster this time. The appetizer only took about 5 minutes to get to my table this time and the entrees came about 10 minutes after that. Food was good before but service was a bit slow but it was much better this time.

Yelp
I went here for the first time for a carry out order right after Christmas, just before NYE so it was nice and packed inside. I always take that as a good sign! It is small but clean with a good amount of seating. One small issue...The menu online was not updated so when I went to pick up my order it was a few dollars more ( from $16.95 to $20). I pointed it out and they adjusted the price. Make sure to confirm the prices when placing the order. I ordered the P8 xl size and it was VERY good and the portions were as expected. I was nursing myself back to health and I think this Pho was a great help in that. I will definitely come back and next time I will dine inside.

Yelp
This is by far the best pho spot I've been to in this area and I've tried so many of them, including pho 75. It's in the same area as Brewsters and the floor & decor store. I came here on New Year's Day (bc honestly what's better on a cold day) and it was packed inside. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and a beef pho and man. I was so sad when I got to the bottom of the bowl. It's also reasonably priced (about $15 for a large). I've been recommending this place to everyone I know. I know this will become my new go to spot for pho around here.

Yelp
So I live super close to the first Pho Nom Nom on Rockville Pike and Wooton Pkwy area, but because it's usually so busy with limited parking, I'm so glad they opened up another location! Came here with some family on a Saturday around noon, and was happily surprised that it wasn't packed at all. The food was still consistent with the other location which is the most important part. My family is usually pretty picky with their pho, but they liked it here so it was a win for us. :) The service was also quick, and they used robots to carry the bowls of pho since there was a lot more room in the restaurant.
google avatar

Yelp
My go to pho place since forever. Staff are always quick and efficient. Food is always consistently great. In the same parking plaza as Teado used to be in so parking can be hit or miss.

Yelp
We ordered a P6 super large bowl ($17) and a S1 large bowl $19. We thought the two bowls were absolutely delicious. The super large pho bowl had lots of noodles. The broth was amazing and there were a generous amount of meat. The s1 large bowl had even more meat. The broth was rich. It was great! The servers were attentive and nice. The robot server, that brought the dishes in the beginning, was a nice touch. The side ingredients/toppings were fresh. This place is definitely pricer than most pho joints. However, pho nom nom is worth the few extra bucks!

Yelp
We have a favorite pho restaurant, lace yet high Yelp reviews caught our interest in this place. Turns out, based on our one lunch experience Pho Nom Nom deserves its rating. Food P-11 Tai small bowl (see photo) was wholesome. Good broth, generous beef. Took half home. F-S1a Bo bab, cha cua small bowl (see photo): A new to me dish. Hearty and flavorful. Rice noodles recommended by staff - good choice. Photo shows an unlisted tendon bonus ingredient. Finished every bit. A-10 Appetizer Sampler. As it was our first visit, we were wanted a broad tasting. Mostly hot fried items and a cold shrimp and beef roll (read menu online for details), yet we liked them all. So, we've not eliminated any from consideration next time. The photo shows the plate AFTER some pieces were already consumed. Sigh. Water - no charge. Service We experienced three servers: of which one was a self-driving tray set (robot). Though one of the human servers seemed to be learning, the other ensured we were never neglected. A server packed up our leftovers neatly. Ambiance Clean, comfortable, quiet, lots of seating, lots of parking in front. Some takeout and some table-served diners present. Did not visit the rest room. Overall, a top-notch Vietnamese place. We'll be back.

Yelp
This is the best pho spot around (I come from Frederick to get this). Customer service is always top notch and the food comes out quick being carried by a robot server. The portions are large and it's very affordable. This is a must try if you're in the area looking for Pho. They also have a location in Rockville, but I like this one better due to the ample parking available.
google avatar

TJ B.

Yelp
Come for the pho, stay for the robots! Friendly, clean with lots of food options. Love the Rockville location so happy to have them up here as well. It's a big improvement over the last Pho place in this location. They really put a lot into the rebuild.
google avatar

Alea V.

Yelp
I can see why this place is so popular. It's some of the best pho around. The broth tasted fresh, clean, and flavorful. The meat was a good cut and the staff is very friendly. They have a little robot that comes to serve you your food and then says enjoy your meal and finds it's way back to the kitchen Don't be alarmed by how sketch the shopping center looks, the restaurant looks nice on the inside.
google avatar

Dyonna B.

Yelp
My friend recommended this place to me so decided to give it a try. Pho is one of my faves so I had high expectations. I ordered the p4 which was thenphos steak and meatball combo. I did end up ordering Togo but it was cool watching a robot deliver food to the tables. The broth was rich and flavorful and the beef was tasty. I didn't really care for the meatballs. I think it was just a texture thing for me. Overall the pho was delicious and would order from there again.
google avatar

Vy T.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere inside with a mix of booth and chair seating. Particularly appreciated the kind and quick service. They have robot servers which were fun. I ordered the Dac Biet Noodles and it was good.

Yelp
I just to go all the way to rockville for pho nom nom but now there is one closer to my house, I have been eating Vietnamese food for more than 25 years and never get bored. Service and food always good.

Yelp
10.19.23 This is their second location. Their original is on Rockville Pike. Food: -Pork egg rolls (A1) - crispy wrapper, but bland on its own. Fish sauce gave it more flavor. -broken rice (rice with fractured rice grains) with pork chop, shredded pork and choice of egg (G3) - It wasn't broken rather just jasmine rice so right off the bat I was disappointed. This entree came with the choice of an egg cake or a sunny side up cake. I asked for both so was charged an additional $2.50. Pork chop was bland too, but good with the fish sauce. Everything else was very good. The employee asked if I wanted pork rind and scallions and that elevated the dish. So yummy! -grilled pork sub (BM3) - I ordered two for carryout for my hubby and I to have for dinner. There wasn't a lot of filling (meat and veggies), but the roll was hearty. I thought it was good, but my hubby didn't like the flavor. Beverage -Vietnamese cold iced coffee (with condensed milk) - I would have preferred it to be sweeter. They offer the choice of two sizes, small or large. Menu: Aside from pho, they offer special soups, rice and vermicelli dishes, and Vietnamese sandwiches. They also offer more variety for beverages than other pho restaurants. Service: -Assuming the male servers (possibly owner and employee) who took our order and served us were very hospitable, funny, and friendly. The downside was they were inattentive. My friend asked for no onions in her soup and she got them. For my entree, they forgot my egg cake. Also I had asked for the veggies (pickled daikon and carrots, and cucumber) on my sub to be separated from my sub, but they put it on there. I suggest repeating special instructions and confirm your order is accurate before eating. Decor/Ambiance: -Nice photos and paintings on the walls. -Robot brings food out to tables. It was my first time seeing a robot and I thought it was cool.

Yelp
Recently togo from here! The employees are super friendly and attentive! They made sure to ask for any extra sauce and even checked it again for me! I would recommend this place because of the great customer service I received! I got the large pho and grilled sliced pork chops! The portions was large and satisfying.

Isaac R.

Yelp
40-24=16, NOT 15! The math if not okay close the door please! Also I don't know if the waiter chat was discriminatory talk, but I hope not! If you don't believe me, go check the camera.
google avatar

Trang N.

Yelp
We ordered 2 large bun bo hue but there was literally 4 slices of beef eye round and 3 spoons of noodles. And the noodles was like all broken due to being overcooked
google avatar

Vladimir S.

Yelp
Food is very good & an amazing post gym meal! I got the A2 and P8 and was completely blown away by how satisfied i felt after feasting. Not only did the A2 have an incredible crisp to them but I loved the veggies and sauce that complimented them. The P8 had an amazing broth and the cut of meat was nice however the portions were a little light. On the bright note their veggies were very fresh. Service was quick and efficient and the restaurant was clean. I'd score it an excellent 8.7 and have visited 3 times now!
google avatar

Caroline S.

Yelp
I love the food, tasted authentic. Place is clean, service is fast, owner is friendly. I wished the pho is served piping hot though. The presence of 2 robots added bonus point. At one time, 1 of them said that she can't be late for work, she could get fired, when the 2 robots were in a traffic jam near kitchen entrance. Their names are Rice and Noodle.
google avatar

Chelsea H.

Yelp
The new design of the interior is so gorgeous! They also have this adorable robot called noodles that helps bring the food making the service a breeze! There is no dedicated kids menu, however, the section labeled "com hoac bun" created kid friendly options. The broth for the pho is really delicious and well made. 10/10 will eat here again and again - so should you!
google avatar

Shaz A.

Yelp
Stopped by here because my kids wanted pho. I've never really had it and got the veggie pho and my kids got steak and chicken and seemed to enjoy it. I loved the goi cuon too. Extra crispy and light. Also they had the robot server which was cute and unexpected. Staff is super friendly too! Liked those guys a lot. Good ppl.
google avatar

Jocelyn A.

Yelp
Chicken pho hit the spot of my ill other half. He said it was tasty, fresh, and filling. I loved the bahn mi sandwich, as the bread was not doughy, but thin and light on inside and crisp on outside. The pork was flavorful and vegetables of daikon radiah, carrot, and jalapeño was fresh and crisp. Thank you.
google avatar

W F.

Yelp
I've been here many times since my initial review and can comfortably they are consistent and high quality. PROS * Excellent and strong iced coffee, especially impressive as they're comfortably ahead of the 4 other shops within walking distance that sell coffee. * Very good service. CONS * Bahn mi sandwiches are just okay. Other notes: * No issues with parking, I've never had a problem getting served during the lunch rush.
google avatar

Yelp
First time trying this location and its a lot easier to park here. Pretty empty when we arrived for Friday dinner, but the place filled up fairly quick (all Asians). Somehow, our waiter didn't put our order in and we were waiting way too long. He finally acknowledged the screw up and it still took forever to get our food...and it was cold. Granted, I order grilled pork/crispy roll over vermicelli which is a cold dish, but the meat/crispy roll should be somewhat warm, right? Portion was pretty good and it was pretty flavorful. Not sure I'll return, there's too many other Viet places that are better.
google avatar

Yelp
Pro: big parking lot, friendly staff, clean environment, modern interior. Con: price. I first learned that pho nom nom was going to open here through the mocoshow website and was very excited to come and try their food. Fast forward to today and I finally had time to come by and get a bite to eat. The parking lot is big and spacious so parking is not a problem. Upon entering the restaurant is very clean looking and has a modern interior. For appetizers, we order the pork egg rolls and the pork Goi cuon. The egg roll was good and the dipping sauce was also good. The goi cuon was also good but they forgot to include the shrimp which was a disappointment. For the entree, I had the Pho Tai super large portion and let me tell you that portion is very big. The broth was very light and not rich enough for me but the noodle and the steak meat was good. We also did order a strawberry bubble tea which was very terrible. It tasted like artificial strawberry, not very sweet, and tasted like the pepto bismol medication, that was a waste of 7 dollar right there. All in all, my overall experience here was above average and would recommend people atleast tried this restaurant once.

Yelp
Delish I've been to many pho locations and seeking a spot that I find good great and tasty has been a hit or miss I found them originally in Rockville than I found them in Gaithersburg and they have been spectacular Thank you for the food my family and myself truly enjoy you food and service Would recommend them to anyone that wants to eat lol

Yelp
Went again today for my birthday lunch w my children. We covered all the food groups lol. We had chicken pho , beef pho , shrimp pho , garden rolls chicken , crispy shrimp spring rolls , Thai tea and gingerale. Was the best birthday meal I've ever had ! Great service , delicious food , did I say great service? , and the added touch of Vietnamese cilantro just put this way to the moon and back !!!!

Yelp
Nice little restaurant! Very friendly and attentive staff, they do a great job helping you choose from among the rather full menu --and-- they are genuinely friendly and kind people. I loved my soup! The broth was excellent and the soup was served with plenty of side condiments to let me "pimp my bowl". Yum yum yum... it took awhile for me before I raised my head again after the first spoonful! I should have asked for some of the extras for the Bahn mi, but honestly it was pretty good also. The bread roll was acceptable, but if they find the right crusty French bread locally, this sandwich could be a regional hit! I would also suggest that they slice some of the cucumber and veg a bit thinner, it would be another plus to the start of what wants to be a great sandwich! Likewise, a few bits of pickled veg would "pump it up"...! All-in-all, this restaurant is a fantastic deal: The price is right, the food is very good, and the staff is happy to serve you. I left the best for last: They have two server robots! Must see!
google avatar

Rodney L.

Yelp
Pho was excellent: we got 3, for our Sunday lunch. Pleasant, attentive staff* who were flexible, adapting the menu for my half-beef tendon/half chicken pho. *even including a robot-cart food "runner" (actually "roller" ...on wheels, not feet :-) Sorry no pics today, just healthy appetites & damn good food...stop by and give them a try

Alejandro C.

Yelp
Best pho and Thai tea ever, best lunch date dinner date, breakfast date ever. Service was on point. Restaurant very clean and server was a 10/10 would highly recommend!
google avatar

April H.

Yelp
I've come to make this place my staple for vegetarian pho. Tofu and veggies. The cost is a bit up there for what I given but I just can't duplicate the broth!! It is layered in flavor. I tried a shrimp sandwich recently and the shrimp were pretty hard and the not de vained. I will stick to the pho. The customer service is great and I even purchased some chili oil I hope to use soon.

Yelp
If you're wondering between the Rockville and this location, just do the drive here. The food and service is literally 10x better than the Rockville location. We ordered the P1 and G3 and it was fantastic. I was surprised to see that the G3 even came with a little pho soup!! Everything is just better here, the soup wasn't too salty or cinnamony like Rockville's location who can't keep their consistency up and the G3's portions were excellent. Since the location is new, the interior was really nice and clean. The food even gets delivered by a Robot! I would say to skip the Che, it was super mediocre and not enough coconut milk and the pandas jellies/beans weren't sweet at all. Similar to most pho places, you pay at the front when you're done eating. Overall, this place is looking to be one of the best pho places in MoCo. They're located in the same shopping center as Brusters so plenty of parking.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
My wife is a true pho aficionado, and we've tried a dozen or more pho restaurants in the region, but Pho Nom Nom comes out on top. Offering a wide range of appetizers, soups, and other entrees, this meticulously-run gem combines rich and complex flavors with incomparable service in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. And all for a very reasonable price. If you're looking for a generous portion of comfort food, you can hardly do better than Pho Nom Nom.
google avatar

Karen R.

Yelp
Recently I ordered P2 Super-large (carry out) and realized the portion shrank quite a bit comparing to when the restaurant first opened. If paying $18 only gets me the same amount of food as what I get from other Vietnamese restaurants as size Large, what's the point for me to come to Pho Nom Nom? Oh also, the broth was a bit salted too. Oh well, I don't think I will go back.
google avatar

Shanna M.

Yelp
We were out of towners looking for a place that was easy to find and open until 9pm on a weeknight- were not disappointed. Owner was friendly and our kid loved the two robots. My friend ordered a Salty-sweetened plum soda; we all tried it and can only say that it was...interesting. I had grilled chicken on noodles, friend and husband both had pho and enjoyed it. Kiddo had steamed broccoli and white rice which they accommodated. Parking was easy and it didn't seem expensive for what you got. My only minor quibble is I needed to more sauce for my noodles; I took some from our summer roll appetizer and put it on.
google avatar

Grace M.

Yelp
My wife and I recently had been trying different Pho restaurants in Fredrick to Rockville and now here in Gaithersburg! Out of all the three places we've tried, this spot is our go to now when wanting Pho. The workers there are so polite and friendly with you. We are regular customers even if we haven't been there for a while, they still remember us, and remember our order. If you want to try Pho for your first time, come here because they won't disappoint you!
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
So happy Pho Nom Nom is opened at this location. Spanking new furniture, TV and purple walls. The Rockville one was always my to-go for Vietnamese food in the area, they consistently served good pho, banh mi and they had bun bo hue, Same here but they have now developed different portion sizes regular, large and XL even for Bun Bo Hue. They also understood the customer's needs in terms of meat type for bun bo hue, there are now four options in the menu. I tried the regular bowl it was quite small but with the fried rice rolls it was just perfect. The serving robots were a novelty they were running around but the staff was too afraid for the customer to self-serve so they ended up carrying the bowls. However the robots were quite impatient and ready to run off everytime the server turned around the robot was taking off it was quite hilarious. Once the robot was blocked by another robot and it kept saying please give way or it will lose its job. Hahaha!! When the robot served my dishes I took the first two and it tried to run off with the last plate of my food! Really funny! Anyway love this place! Best pho, bun bo hue, banh mi and banh thit noung or vermicelli noodle salad in the area.

Yelp
I decided to slip in for lunch while my husband was have a long surgery at the local Kaiser P center. It was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant itself was immaculately clean and warm on a chilly day. The staff was extremely attentive and kind. I had a water to drink before I could even sit down completely, my order taken immediately, and food in less than five minutes. The summer rolls with peanut sauce were different than I'm used to, but in a good way as the meat was freshly grilled. I had chicken and shrimp pho that was delicious. One fun part was that the food was delivered by a robot, and I've never seen that before. I enjoyed reading a book quietly and didn't feel rushed. I'll be back if ever in the area again.
google avatar

Lyman S.

Yelp
I'll keep this short and sweet. This the best Oho and Bahn Mi I have found in the area. The broths and ingredients are nice and complex in flavor, not overly salty and exactly what you want in them, respectively. The noodles are perfect and there's a selection of several types. The bread for the Bahn Mi is excellent. There's also a marinated tofu option with the Bahn Mi if you are vegetarian. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are good and the service is amazing. If you dine in, you can experience having a robot bring you your food from the Expo line. It's very cool! They also have really good Thai Tea. The owner and staff are extremely charming and the ambiance is very clean and stylish. If you're looking for a Bahn Mi or Pho, this place is worth your time and hard earned money. 10/10

Yelp
(4) ~ very good overall food & service, although the Robots are not really that helpful. We do like this location more than their Rockville location for (3) Reasons: 1.) Plenty of parking 2.) Their Banh mi is better 3.) Plenty of seating DRINKS: ** (B13) Avocado Smoothie = (4.25) Very fresh ** Water (tap) = (4) very good, must be filtered;) ** (B3) Vietnamese Hot Coffee w. Condensed Milk = (4) very tasty, but I prefer the more authentic Metal Filter Setup vs just a cup FOOD: ** (A5) Tom Nuong Cuon (Summer Roll w. Grilled Shrimp) = (4) very tasty and better than the "steamed" shrimp ones;) ** (P10) Eye of Round & Soft Tendon Pho (sm) = (4) very good, although I wanted slightly more steak;) ** (BM1) Dac Biet Banh Mi = (4) very good, although it would be even better if you could add a Sunny Egg;)

Yelp
Tofu pho is delicious! The best pho I've had in Maryland in comparison to Southern California pho spots

Yelp
They were not honest with our bill. What a rip off!!! We ate in and added a carry out. When the bill came, they added the two bills together & baked in a massive tip!! We got so ripped off - what a jip!!

Yelp
Hmm. Could it be Viet food is better in VA? I found myself thinking the food was just okay and it was definitely all overpriced. 7.95 for a large coffee, are you kidding me? It definitely wasn't even that strong and felt more like a powdered mix, so not worth what I'm paying for. I was able to fall asleep at night after having one for dinner, so definitely hardly any caffeine. Service was decent for our larger party of 8, they seemed friendly enough.
