The shrimp sandwich had a healthy amount of shrimp. The wonton soup was a last minute decision and I am happy I went with that entree. The wontons were plenty full and were such a nice addition to the soup. Plenty of veggies and meats to fill every bite.

Service is ok, just ok, it is an express restaurant, you order the meal, then you go to pick up the utensils, napkins, sauce then they bring the ordered food to your table. The steak pho was ok with no Basil served, I had better from other restaurants. The Vietnamese coffee drink was no more than strong coffee with ice, paid 6 dollars for a glass of strong iced coffee. The other prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants. Please see the small bowl of Pho compared to other restaurants. I left hungry, maybe should have ordered two pho orders. The service was good. They delivered my food and picked it up after I was done. Would I go back again? no, I would try other restaurants for better Pho. Please see photos of the small pho bowl.

This is without a doubt the best Vietnamese food money can buy in the entire New Orleans area. I absolutely love this place. The prices are very reasonable, the food is incredible, and the wait staff are some of the nicest you will meet anywhere. I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Recently tried this pho place recommended by friends. The broth was too sweet. Skimpy on tripe. The chili oil didn’t tasted herby didn’t help either. The fried egg rolls were versatile and delicious. It’s a cute spot with self serve drinks and utensils.

My one and only go to for Pho! Their beef broth is like no other and there grilled pork tacos are some of the best I've ever had. They are charred to perfection. Their vermicelli and fresh spring rolls are really good too! Let's not forget the staff, especially, Chelsea who is always super friendly and helpful. I will continue to eat here at least once a week!

1st time trying out Pho Orchid on Airline Highway in Metairie, La. I was just getting over being sick and wanted hot soup. I’m always passing this restaurant and had wanted to try it. Lately my son and I have been trying new restaurants so we decided to stop in. He had combination Pho and a Winter Melon drink that taste and smell like they pour a lot of maple syrup into milk and coffee and I had beef pho, chicken banh mi, and a Lemonade club soda. I added sriracha to my pho to make it spicy and the lemonade was really good. The price was reasonable and the food was good, I’ll definitely be going back.

Was extremely clean and friendly place. Got no complaints little something missing. I can’t put my finger on it. Would I go back again? Food was good.

A tiny Vietnamese restaurant that serves wonderful pho as well as some unique dishes like tacos (with a Viet twist). Quick and fast service that seems to indicate a family run restaurant. The food is delicious and definitely worth a visit for the price.

Was feeling under the weather, not really wanting to cook and seeking comfort yummy goodness and I sure as hell found it here! I want to thank them for not giving us the ugly look for showing up within an hour of closing. We had the pork rolls, a basic yet spot-hitting chicken white meat pho, and the spicy beef noodle. The pork in the rolls was so Smokey and it completely took us by surprise how yummy it was. The spicy beef noodle was phenomenal too. The veggies were super fresh and the tea comforting. Everything was just what I was looking for that night.

Recommend? Not particularly. This isn't a vegan establishment, but the dishes I got were. I got the veggie dumplings and the tofu vermicelli with peanut sauce. The veggie dumplings are your standard dumplings, I don't think these are house made. I asked for the vermicelli noodles with peanut sauce. The sauce is more on the sweet side. The bowl is pretty average.

This is still the best pho in the closest proximity to my home. And while I love the original Pho Orchid, this smaller location has everything that I need and still has the great in-house value meal which includes a baby pho, choice of side (I always get one spring roll) and a cold beverage. That deal is still under $12, and awesome value and the perfect amount of food for me.

Always a fan of Pho Orchid Express! Close to my work place so easy to pick up delicious food. One of my fav pho places. I'm also a fan of their "tacos." Grill pork Banh mi is simple and is a must always. Customer service is always friendly and easy parking in their own lot.

Food was delicious, and crafted for my dietary needs. Service was wonderful, kind and helpful! Ambiance was simple, comfortable and welcoming. It is quite a bit more costly than $. $43 with tip for two of us... no appetizers, drinking tea.

Best pho around by far! I live in the French quarter and we have a pho place 5 minutes from my house. We drive 20 minutes to this place because of the quality of food and the service. As soon as we walked in, the lady at the counter welcomed us with a smile, the ordering was quick and simple and prices are very reasonable. I got the chicken pho and my husband got a noodle salad It came out quickly and omg the portions were HUGE!! The pho would probably feed 3 people lol. The pho broth was absolutely amazing! It was so flavorful and some of the best chicken broth I have ever had. This is definitely worth the drive and a must go to for anyone looking for great food!

No frills Vietnamese restaurant with very very good pho broth and the shrimp and pork spring rolls were excellent as well. Jasmine tea was on point. very reasonably priced. The baby pho special is totally worth it. Can't wait to go back again.

After years of going here, the food has stayed consistently delicious and the service consistently friendly. The combo is a great deal. The grilled pork Banh Mi, brisket pho, grilled pork spring rolls and egg rolls are favorites. I've always wanted to try the rotisserie chicken and rice plate as well. Maybe next time!

I love this place! Wish it were bigger as now it is definitely crowded (especially for lunch). Service is excellent at this location. The entire staff is warm and hospitable. The service is the main reason this restaurant excels above others. The pho and banh mi are sooo good here! One of my absolute favorite vietnamese restaurants in the city

We stopped by Pho Orchid Express for lunch. We called in a to go order beforehand, and it was ready when we arrived. Everything was fresh and delicious. They are located in the shopping center next to Progressive and hurwitz mintz. We had the steak tacos, shrimp rice, shrimp rolls, and a pork banh mi. Not only were they all terrific, but the pricing is amazing!

For me, this is one of those spots where I wonder why I bother looking at the menu because I always order the same thing. Grilled pork vermicelli/ bún. The pork is always perfectly cooked, seasoned, and cut in nice bite-sized bits. Nice lettuce to noodle ratio and the perfect amount of peanuts. Service is always sweet, and the bathroom is clean. Look for the purple ray of sunshine on a dismal old highway within an old lava rock Popeye's from days gone by. Have a Vietnamese ice coffee if you dare!

Dine-in special was excellent and a real bargain. Ordered veggie pho and shrimp/pork spring roll. Huge portion of pho. Service was prompt and friendly. Mid- afternoon was not busy but they did not bus table promptly, leaving dirty dishes on tables long after patrons had left.

This place has great food at a great price. They're always speedy with orders and it's easy to order ahead and pick up. It's atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but the food is worth it. It's sister restaurant is pho orchid off vets and has a much nicer atmosphere, but the service is often slow

I ventured in for the first time to place a dinner to-go order since my friend lives nearby. Within 10 minutes I had my full order ready and out the door. We ordered Pork Belly Tacos, Vietnamese Egg Rolls, Orchid Combination Pho and also Steamed Dumplings. We enjoyed all the items. My date doesn't know Vietnamese food and she was pleasantly surprised. We'll be back!

Great spicy beef pho, maybe the best in town. Banh mi sandwiches are good, but not life-changing. Very clean place and easy to get to. Try it out.

Never a bad meal. A smaller, quicker version of their main restaurant on Kingman in Metairie, every time I go I get the combo-a small/baby pho (choice of meat) with either rolls, banh mi, or bao plus a drink.

Love this place. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I love the pho but often stop in for the lunch special with choices for a lunch special.

Pho Orchid Express offers all the best of Pho Orchid's menu items, but they offer a great lunch special in addition to. For $8.95 you get a baby Pho - which may sound really teeninsy, but isn't, your choice of 1/2 Bahn Mi, an order of spring rolls, or 1 egg roll, and a drink! Yes, I said $8.95! And your drink is included. You order at the cash register and take a number. They bring your food to the table and it never takes long. I've always had good experiences with the staff. They're polite and very efficient. The place is clean and there are a couple of TVs playing so that you can catch up on the day's news while you eat. This is a great place to stop for lunch if you're rushing around and just want to unwind for a few minutes and have a tasty meal. It's located on Airline Hwy. not far from Causeway, so it's easy to get to from Metairie.

One of my favorite pho spots. It's quick, tasty and affordable. The pho broth is top notch, the spring rolls are great and all of their "tacos" are delicious! Today we got the garlic shrimp bao tacos, the pork spring rolls and two large bowls of pho. I also got the Thai iced tea. We went home with lots of leftovers and full bellies. I highly recommend this place!

Found this gem on Airline Hwy and fell in love with it. The young couple that was running it were very accommodating. The food was amazing loved everything we ordered definitely worth the visit and definitely will be back again

Super impressed with this place. We stopped in because we wanted to visit Crumbl Cookie & from the outside, it almost looked closed/desolate and had barely any cars, but I'm glad we still went in. There were several tables of people seated, place was super clean, and I enjoy the quick service order counter. Food came out super quick and it was delicious. Those crab rangoons are definitely homemade and different from most places I've had them. Bathroom was also super clean. Workers were all very nice. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area again. It's unfortunate it's about 30 minutes away from where I live.

Cute little place off from Airline and the perfect place for a quick, affordable, and yummy lunch! Boyfriend and I stopped here after a work-out o regain calories we lost just a few minutes prior. The staff were so sweet and nice right as we walked in. The menu had a good variety that you can't go wrong with---bacos, spring rolls, pho, rice platters, and an awesome combo deal of 1 small bowl of pho + side dish + drink for a little more than $9! Since it was a small lunch, we opted for the 1) Rice w/ shaken beef + salad and 2) Korean beef tacos (bacos). The shaken beef was a little dry, but the marinade was perfect. Wish we had a little more meat in the bacos, but flavor was still good. Overall, well worth its price and service, and would come again!

This place doesn't look like much, but it's a hidden gem compared to what's around it. Not much to look at in search of restraints close by, so it's no wonder why it was busy before noon. I ordered the vegetarian pho (small) and the portion was more like a large. It's not noisy, and the service is friendly. However, my pho noodles were in one big clump and hard to break apart. The taste was good, but the noodles refused to break apart. Also, there is no tofu pho option which is my go to when ordering pho. . I was a bit disappointed about that, but overall it's a good place if you're craving pho.

When dying a slow death from partying the night before, pho orchid to the rescue! Quick and easy, order at the counter, lunch special for "dine in" only and a great deal. Small pho with either 1/2 Banh mi, egg roll, or spring rolls and a drink $10. Take a number, and someone brings out your food- no fuss-no muss. Broth is delicious and definitely makes me feel better when or . They get 4 cause my soup wasn't piping hot and just warm.

Food is fantastic. Aside from the great food, the customer service is unmatched. I stopped a few months prior and made a regular order with Chelsea behind the counter. A few months later, I returned and she asked me if I wanted the same order I had ordered from a few months prior. You can't beat customer service like that!

I was pleased with the take out I ordered from this restaurant. I tried the veggie Pho and the tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce. Both were tasty. The veggie broth had a good flavor. I wish the large Pho had come with more veggies. The tiny amount they put in my bag just wasn't quite enough!

Made a quick stop here on the way to the airport to grab lunch. Got a large steak/brisket/tendon pho and a grilled chicken banh mi to share amongst the two of us. The restaurant owners were nice and gave a table where we could keep our two luggages. Service was ok. It's an order-at-the-counter and then wait at the table for food to come out type of restaurant. Also was decently clean. The pho broth wasnt the best in the world but hit the spot after eating Southern/Cajun cuisine for days. We came for a late lunch and there were still 3-4 other tables occupied so the place must be popular. We were able to leave in 30 min and it made a convenient stop from the city on the way to the airport.

I have to say that the inside was clean. Yes it is an express spot. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and shrimp phó. The spring rolls were much plain than what I am use to. They only had the vermacille noodles and boiled shrimp. No green shallots or nothing. The size was also smaller than I am normally use to receiving when an order is placed. Now, on the phó. The shrimps! ! They were so small. So small till they were even smaller once put in side the soup due to temperature. The broth was on the bland side. The foods was packaged well. #dolchescomment

Good quality and fast food! You order at the counter and you can either wait 10 min or so and take your food to go or they have tables so you have the option to dine in as well. This place would get a 5 star if it served pad thai, but maybe that takes longer and can't be served at an express restaurant? I went here for a quick meal and was very disappointed when I couldn't get pad thai, but they made up for it with their Korean beef tacos...YUM! I also had the chicken vermicelli which was tasty as well. Overall, this place is perfect for lunch during the week or on the run.

The egg rolls are delicious the pho broth can use more flavor and the pork belly tacos were just ok they could have been better

What is up with delicious restaurants taking over old Popeye's locations? Yep this little Vietnamese joint is in a former fast food establishment on Airline HWY. OK I'll let that go. Once you're inside, you won't believe the renovation. It's really spacious and modern. Order at the counter, get your own drink and wait...but not for long. Your choice of dine in or carry out. The menu is a bit brief (hence the Express) but their was plenty to satisfy everyone, veggie or meat eater. I had a noodle bowl (bun) with tofu and it was delicious and refreshing on a boiling hot day. I will have to go back and try their vegetarian pho and see how it stacks up against my favorite...just not when there is a heat advisory.

Eh!!!! It was meh. Maybe I am just playing hard to get but the BEST PHO is on S. Carrollton. I stormed in on a rainy day (drenched) only to find onlookers looking at me while bobbing and weaving chopstix. I was embarrassed. That place is small ; yeah express...I get it. You order at the counter and your food comes in under 10 minutes. The convenience will get me back there. The lunch special is under $10. I can't really complain, just a little wet and sticky meal....that was just OK taste. Bon Appetite!!!

Before giving this place a try I despised Vietnamese food. I apparently ordered the wrong things on my first couple of attempts so I'm glad I gave it another try. The best thing about this location besides the food, is the lunch special. You get 2 spring rolls or 2 banh mi, bowl of pho and a drink for $9.95. I particularly like the shrimp and pork combo spring rolls and the eye round steak pho served med rare with a little siracha added. Its located on the same side as Rouses on Airline towards New Orleans. You order at the counter and they bring it to you really quick so its perfect for a light and fast work week lunch. The downside is you have to dine in only to receive the lunch special. If you order to go, you end up getting a larger pho and it will cost you almost double.

Second time here! PHO is awesome on these cold days! This time I had the dine-in combo which came with a Baby Pho and choice of half bahn-mi, springs rolls or egg-rolls. I got the beed Pho and egg roll. Egg roll was great but the pho was disappointing. I got 3 measly pieces of meat and the broth tasted quite dilute and watery. Next time I'm in NOLA, I'll try something else I guess.

Such a fast and inexpensive place to eat at. There is no shortage of interesting options to choose from. You won't be mistaken by going to this venue for some sort of quick meal that you need.

Only going with 3 stars because of the disappointment with the vermicelli. We have been to the regular pho orchid and never had a problem. First of all bao pork tacos were amazing. Super soft and everything taste very fresh. The Korean beef vermicelli on the other hand was a huge disappointment! While the noodles and the veg was fresh and delicious, the meat was mostly bone! Biting into every piece yielding a large piece of bone. Hope we didn't break a tooth!! The flavor of the little meat we did get was good. They just need to be sure to remove bones before serving or serve more meat so we are not left w three little pieces after we had to remove all the bones ourselves. Easy parking, quick service, small, clean tables, nice clientele, good menu. A good basic Vietnamese fix. *The jasmine ice tea is incredible!

If you want authentic Vietnamese food you should try this place. One of my fav place to go. I like their pork vermicelli and Korean ribs. Their butter chicken wings with salt-pepper-lime dipping sauce is good too. Good portion for the price. The services is sometimes is good, some is bad. I guess it's depend on different servers! Anyway I like the place and would recommend it to anyone!

Dont worry, this is the same great quality and friendly atmosphere you'll find at the flagship Pho Orchid. Great half-and-half options with pho and banh mi, spring rolls or egg roll, are available for those who can't decide. ;) These half & half combos are great for lunch. The pho broth is light and flavorful, never greasy. All of your favorite "proteins" are there for you to choose your version. Vegetarian options are on the menu, too. For a "condensed" menu, they cover (in my opinion) all the faves you're craving in a Vietnamese restaurant. There are vermicelli bowls and rice dishes, too. Top it off with a tea concoction or the "one and only" French-dripped coffee and condensed milk! Not a pan-Asian restaurant; just a sweet little Vietnamese place serving good honest food at honest prices.

Great food had the Korean BBQ it was very good. Very clean with takeout or dine-in service. Love the entire menu here. The Pho is awesome!!

Great casual place for sit down or takeout vietnamese food. Centrally located with easy parking, and convenient to Clearview mall, movie theater, and other locations off of Veterans Blvd. It's convenient to run errands and then pick up some good food. I normally order the chicken pho, which has a great flavorful broth. Anyone who tends to order pho at vietnamese places will appreciate the broth here, and the portion is normally a bit larger than other places. The ambiance is comfy, with a high ceiling and wide open space. The bubble tea is also really good. The service here is also good... always someone looking after you to ensure your satisfaction.

Fast & Tasty! So I normally go to the Pho Orchid off Vets, but my co worker told me this one was even better. It was around noon on a Monday, somewhat busy. You order at the counter and grab your drinks and condiments in the back. This one offered a more limited menu, but I actually preferred it. They had a COMBO 1/2 pho & 1/2 Sandwich or Spring Rolls AND a drink for $9 -- you can't beat that! The food was good as expected. I will be back!

So happy with the pho!!! My boyfriend and I tried this place yesterday and were so impressed! I can't believe we drive past this place almost everyday. We are thrilled to NOT have to drive to the West Bank for good pho now. We will be back next week!
