"Everyone in Dallas has their own pho favorite, but this Richardson spot serves up steaming bowls of perfectly-spiced broth. Top with brisket, rare beef, tripe, or tendon for a bowl of pho that’s warming and filling." - Rachel Pinn, Amy McCarthy

The REAL scoop….one of THE BEST places for PHO!!! Gosh I can’t explain that every time I come it’s never a bad experience! Staff is attentive, food is on point, check out is a breeze, when you order To Go it’s simple!!! My go to are the Spring rolls (no pork) fresh and crisp ALWAYS! They have good Ol Double zero chicken Pho with beef broth or NEW now chicken with chicken broth 😮🤩 Soooooo goooood and it’s always White meat chicken mmmmmm……the sauces come standard and tasty!!! My next go to is Como Bo Luc Lac….shaken beef tenderloin…… but I change it up ask for tomato rice (from the Cornish hen dish) AMAZING! I can go on & on…. I’m just gonna keep going the on & on…. WELL DONE!!!!

Jenny Mai, Realtor

Google
Spring rolls nicely wrapped and 4 rolls made me full but my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I also ordered combo Pho Đạc Biet with extra meats.

Service is sub par at best. The vermicelli noodles were mushy. The waitress gave us a look for requesting two peanut sauces for the spring rolls. Later she came around to offer water by just reaching to grab the glass. I let her know I was too cold to take more ice in my water and she answered “ok” and walked away instead of just getting water no ice. Not returning.

Google
Never had a chance to leave a review here . Their services and food was astonishing good . We have the chicken pho and the spring rolls was amazing . Next time I’ll try the lemongrass chicken rice and the bun Bo hue too. So far it’s good to my liking. Will definitely come back soon.

Google
Pho was delicious, service was not so good. Had to literally wave them down for things I needed. They didn't come to the table at all after they brought the pho out. You've gotta check on a customer at least once after you bring their dish out.

Google
This place was super good! It's a quiet atmosphere. Wasn't busy at all, on a Tuesday night. We ordered appetizers and pho. We had the Special Order Spring rolls with pork and the #12 Pho (well done flank, fat brisket). The broth was super good and the spring rolls had amazing flavor and came with a peanut sauce as well. Will definitely be back.

Google
Yummy foods here. I ate all. Pho and Bun Bo Hue are my favorite here. The spring rolls are the best! I and my mom tried many places and I love the foods at this place. We taking our family next time. We even drive very far to this place and don’t mind to drive again for the best foods. Coming to see you tonight. Sunday Yum Day 😋 Thank you so much for making good and healthy foods. Highly recommend to everyone

Google
My favorite pho restaurant in the area, I’d consider myself a connoisseur and this place is amazing alway … 4th time here this week

Michelle I.

Yelp
Was craving bun bo hue and decided to order out. Not sure about the ambiance of the restaurant but if the food is great to go (door dash) I bet its even better dine in. Food was still nice and hit when in arrived. Ordered - bun bo hue - pho ga (chicken) - pho dac biet - egg rolls Everything was packaged well and they don't skimp on meat! They also provide lots of bean sprouts and herbs! Bun Bo Hue satisfied the craving! One of the few places that actually provides the pig feet/ham hock and congealed pig blood. All of the broths were good. Made mini bowls for the toddlers and they ate the pho right up! Would 100% order again

Yelp
The food tasted good and service was fast. Unfortunately the overall experience was not great. The entire time we were there, someone chose to sit in the table next to us and sort cutlery by throwing it into plastic pails, loudly. There were only a couple other tables in use, so they could have chosen to seat anywhere but they sat next to us, making conversation (CLANG) very (CLANG) annoying (CLANG) and I almost felt (CLANG) it was on purpose because (CLANG) I complained (CLANG) about the iced tea...which was the worst iced tea I've ever tasted. Seriously, it was like old dish water. Simply awful iced tea. Maybe I'll try them again in the future, but I didn't really feel like they wanted my business.

Daros K.

Yelp
There's plenty of pho spot around here and we usually go to Pho Bac, but they were under construction. So we went here after morning gym session. It's across the street located by Korean BBQ chicken and Planet Fitness. It wasn't too busy like Pho Bac. There was no wait and the service was pretty quick. The pho was ok. To me it was a bit bland and do not get water. It's tap water with that unfiltered taste . It was pretty quiet because there was no one there. If you want something quick with no wait then this could be your spot.

Yelp
I was searching for a pho restaurant in Dallas area as I just moved from SoCal and came across this restaurant. Fast service, a lot of seating inside, and pho was decent! It definitely was a bit on the salty/oily side but flavor was not bad and gave a good amount of meat.

Matthew C.

Yelp
This POS. I ordered food for pick up. Came in and paid in cash. He doesn't give me change and says order over there and points to that direction where food is, and says anything wrong? I said yes give me change. Then I ask what is his name he said I don't wanna give to you. Useless trash posing in service industry. I've been customer at this restaurant for 3 years. Hope owner gets this.

Jamie T.

Yelp
Probably one of the only pho places that can rival Houston pho toe to toe in my humble Vietnamese opinion. They also serve bánh mì here as well so don't be afraid to get other things! Also not as long as a line as the pho place that starts with a B and ends with a C : )))

Angelica S.

Yelp
Great pho. Stopped from out of town. Coconut water is amazing. Quiet place to eat. Service was fast.

Deidra O.

Yelp
Good quality beef! Super thin sliced. Flavor is so good. I ordered pick up and it was still hot when I got it home

Yelp
I rarely resort to leaving a negative review, but today my mom, son and I went to Pho Pasteur, where we've been lots of times before. I ordered Bun with tofu, not for the first time, but I took literally one bite and it tasted rancid, like literally rancid oil. The sauce, which is normally clear, had a brown cast and it was separated, with a layer of shiny grease on the surface that I'd never seen before. I told the always-rude waitress (who I'd rather not ever have to interact with, honestly) that I couldn't eat my food because it tasted very off, not like it usually does. I ordered a banh mi, since my mom was having one and it seemed fine. Rude Waitress offered me a to-go box, which I declined...and asked why would I want to take home inedible food? And she said, "Well it's not our fault you don't like it." And I said that I wasn't sending it back because I "didn't like it", I was sending it back because it tasted like it was spoiled. She shrugged (!) and asked if I still wanted the sandwich and I said no, not if she wasn't going to take the Bun off of my bill??? She picked it up and walked away without a word. I didn't have the budget to add another thing to my bill. So I watched my family eat dinner. When I went to pay my $50+ check, I left the tip line blank. She literally looked down at it and said, "excuse me?" I said, quite softly because I could hardly believe what had just happened, "Actually no, I won't. Not today." And we just left. As an added kick, I've had an off stomach all day, and my son, who got the combo pho he also always gets, thought his ingredients (like the tendon and tripe, normally his favorite) tasted odd by the middle of his bowl and has been very ill this evening. I want to let my fellow diners know that this place has gone noticeably downhill and today was the straw. There are too many great pho places in Richardson to put up with rude service and dodgy ingredients, where they are way friendlier and don't give you intestinal distress as a bonus! Hope maybe I spare someone a really bad experience. It's so insanely expensive to dine out these days!

Chris K.

Yelp
My go-to restaurant for Pho, Bánh Mi Grilled Pork, and Shrimp Spring Rolls. My order is always fresh, delicious and correct.

Emily N.

Yelp
I must admit, i have been a pho bac girly but after hearing SEVERAL ppl mention pho pasteur to me on multiple occasions, i had to see the hype. The hype was real af. The broth packed with flavor and the service was quick. This will be my new go to place for pho from now on!

Kevin L.

Yelp
Ordered the XL Bun Bo Hue to go on DoorDash. I'm not even going to hold you guys, the meat and garnish were on point. They do not skimp on the cabbage, onions, cilantro, jalapenos, Thai basil, and the whole thing was a beef paradise. Really glad they serve the pork hock and pig's blood, both super tender still even after reheating the soup. The broth was packed with flavor, but maybe not as much lemongrass taste as I am used to. Overall a top tier to-go order.

Matthew W.

Yelp
Coming from the Bay Area, I noticed that this restaurant's prices reminded me of home; not unreasonable, but certainly more expensive than other pho places in the area. Otherwise, the prices reflect the condition of the food and ambiance. It's very clean and classy inside the restaurant, and the everything looks modern. We ordered #14 (Combination pho), which was delicious. It's not too oily or heavy, and yet the broth is flavorful and rich. The meat (brisket, tripe, beef balls, and beef slices) was lean and tender, and the rice noodles, while thinner than the expected, were still chewy. I suppose my critiques would be, other than the prices, that the portions are rather small. While a large (a regular) is enough for me with a generous helping of meat, diners with larger appetites may want to order an extra large or extra noodles/meat to be satiated. Secondly, their paper menu is slightly smaller than many other places. It's primarily a pho restaurant, so expect to be ordering pho rather than vermicelli (which they do have). Otherwise, I'd recommend this place and would definitely return if in the area, or craving pho in the Dallas/Garland area. Just as a reminder to anyone who hasn't eaten pho before, the meat is SUPPOSED to be slightly raw, as it cooks in your hot soup, so don't complain about it.

Yelp
Never had a chance to leave a review here . Their services and food was astonishing good . We have the chicken pho and the spring rolls was amazing . Next time I'll try the lemongrass chicken rice and the bun Bo hue too. So far it's good to my liking. Will definitely come back soon.

Alex T.

Yelp
To me, pho is all about the soup base. Here, the soup base is full bodied and flavorful. Also the noodles are not precooked stuck together at the bottom like some places.

Michelle D.

Yelp
This was my first pho experience and I am very open to new things. But, this was mediocre at best. The meat wasn't cooked enough for me and the broth was rather bland. The eggrolls were ok, but greasy. I wasnt awful, but just ok.

Allen T.

Yelp
This is probably the gold standard of pho in DFW. Just good old fashioned solid pho for any time you come. I was here during for a work lunch and the service was fast. Easy parking out front. Their broth was flavorful and complex, not too sweet. The fresh veggies is on the side. $18 including tips

Tyler H.

Yelp
Amazing food and super fast! My go to pho place. Call and order, don't order online. The pricing is different.

L N.

Yelp
I stopped by Pho Pasteur while my dad had a dental appointment across the street. I decided on the pho tai bo viên and also treated myself to a half order of goi cuon. The customer service was decent, especially considering the usual standard at Vietnamese restaurants. This wasn't my first visit, and as always, I had an nice experience.

John T.

Yelp
Fast service. Great place for lunch. One of the best pho in the area. Broth was flavorful, complex, a little salty.

Tiffany Đ.

Yelp
I have only ordered from this restaurant via UberEats a few times, so the review is based on the food alone. I have mixed feelings about this place. Their Pho and Hu Tieu My Tho were SO bland you could substitute their broth with water and they would taste the same. But thankfully, other items I got from there, Sping Rolls, Bun Bo Hue, and Com Tam Dac Biet, had some flavor. They are nothing to rave about but passable to be re-ordered.

Rose Q.

Yelp
I've never been here before until a friend of mine brought me and my sister here and highly recommends this place. Overall experience was great. I don't care much for pho so when I go to Vietnamese restaurants, I usually order their rice platters. I had their chicken rice platter. The food was good but I wish they had more chicken options for rice platters since I don't eat pork. But I like this place. Service was great.

Cappy P.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised. Pho Pasteur is surrounded by very good competition. I will put Pasteur's Pho up against others in the area. I may not have not eaten at every Pho Kitchen in this area, but not for the lack of trying. It is a clean shop. The service, in our case, was surprisingly speedy. The price is not the lowest. I believe the quality and quantity makes the price justified. After all, everything is going up so darn fast, who's to say what is too high? I'd at least give this kitchen a shot. If you love Pho Tai as much as I do, I am expecting you to visit quite often.

Maile D.

Yelp
I love there food. I go to the one in Richardson on N Plano Rd. My favorite is the Pork and Tomato Rice

Tim M.

Yelp
We've been going to this place for over a decade. The Pho has never been "great", but it's always been "good enough" when you are craving a big bowl of Pho. However, as of tonight, we are never going back. This place has gone down-hill big time. I ordered my usual - Pho with brisket, and my wife got Pho with "everything". First, the Pho itself was simply lacking flavor. That big beefy broth you want, nope it's not there. Instead is some watered down fake flavor that tastes like it came from an instant soup package. Well, ok not even that good. Then, the brisket in my bowl was uneatable. It was shoe-leather tough. Instead of nice, tender slices of slow-cooked brisket, they put in paper-thin slices of uncooked brisket. No, this was not the raw meat that some people like. That's a different cut of beef, which is fine. This was paper-thin briket, obviously cut while the meat was frozen in order to get it that thin, then dunked in before serving. It was cooked, but you can't make brisket like that. It's crap. The food was just bad. Time to find a new favorite Pho place - this ain't it. I should also add - I have never read Yelp reviews about this place before, as like I said, we've been coming here every 6 months or so for over 10 years. But do read the other reviews, they are correct. Avoid avoid avoid this place.

Monique M.

Yelp
Service has always been great. I personally like the owner/chef guy who always greet us. However, food has gone downhill in my opinion. Serving freezer burn egg rolls 3 times the last time, MEH.... Com Tam Bi Cha - cha was so soggy. Pho - I like their pho, and this hasn't changed in flavor, tastes great every time.

More M.

Yelp
I can't get enough of this place their Bun Bo Hue it's amazing I love it. The service super fast thank you I was in and out good place to go for lunch. Their atmosphere super relax so quiet I love it......

Cynthia T.

Yelp
Their Pho Dac Biet tastes just like homemade pho, definitely give this place a try!! So good!

Stephen M.

Yelp
An absolute nightmare. I have never in my life eaten pho as terrible as this. We ordered off UberEats, which I understand will affect the quality of the food, but even after taking that into account, the food was practically inedible. The beef broth was very bland, the noodles were broken into 2cm segments before they even came out of the container, the beef was bearable, and finally the single beef meatball that it came with was the most soggy overly-expanded mushy spongey mouthful of meat I've ever had the displeasure of putting in my mouth. This was the very first time that I did not eat more than half an order of pho, and the very first time that I have not finished a single meatball. The lemongrass chicken tasted like microwaved chicken with two sear lines that were almost inexplicable considering that the chicken didn't even taste grilled at all. It was dry and rubbery and made chicken breast salad seem soft and juicy in comparison. There was no lemongrass flavor to be found, and I was so concerned that I almost had to post a missing ingredients alert since I was certain that I had ordered a lemongrass chicken on rice. Maybe the chef was having a bad day and the lemongrass ran away, and I can only hope that the chef found it again for the subsequent orders of this pitiful dish. I don't understand how this place has such high ratings, and I won't be trying it again to find out.

Vanessa Z.

Yelp
The price has went up by 3-4 dollar over the past few years. Now it is 12 dollar for a regular bowl of pho which is ridiculous for the competitors across the street and a few street over. Would not come back. Do yourself a favor go across the street to pho bac. Better than this over priced bowl for the same amount of food...

Ryan N.

Yelp
This is one of the top three pho restaurants in this area that I visit frequently. The food is always consistent with fresh and delicious ingredients. No complaints from me. I would post photos but pho pictures always end up looking the same lol Two thumbs up! :)

N W.

Yelp
They wouldn't let our friend's service dog into the restaurant even though we explained several times that ADA law allows for service animals to be in a restaurant and showed him the ADA card for their service dog. The host even told us he could call the police about us having a dog there and we told him he would be welcome to do so because they would have to allow the service dog into the restaurant because of ADA law.

Elaine Z.

Yelp
Probably one of the best pho spots near Dallas. But the wait for our food was super long, they were so packed on a Sunday lunch. Took over 35 minutes to get our food. I mean that's how you know it's good right. The broth is delicious and I just wish the food came a bit faster. Overall delicious place to eat for pho

Gary L.

Yelp
Best Pho, Vietnamese restaurant in the DFW area. Drive 20 miles consistently to eat there. Food price is reasonable, consistent. the best boss guy is very friendly. would recommend anyone who love Vietnamese food

Usa T.

Yelp
Phở Bắc ~$13.00 (B) vs Phở Pasteur ~$12.00(P) Large 2go ---Phẩm*, Lượng+ - Nước Lèo (B)=10+/8.75*, -B.viên =3*+/2, Thịt Bò = 10*+/8.75,-B.phở = 10/9.5,- Rau& Giá= 9.1/10*+,- Chanh = 10/10. Over rall B+.

Anthony C.

Yelp
Compared to other Pho restaurants, you actually get decent sized portions and the food is quite good.

Michele G.

Yelp
I have been going to this Restaurant and doing GrubHub Pick-up for many years. Last night, my husband put in an order for me to pick-up on my way home from work. I arrived and asked for my order, they couldn't find it and said it was still being prepared. I saw an order on the counter and figured it was for someone else. I was asked to take a seat and wait. In the 25 mins that I waited 5-6 people came in, picked up their order and left. Then they said my order was ready and pointed me to the order that had been sitting on the counter for 25 minutes. I asked them if it was still hot. "It should be fine" No apologies, nothing. I will take my business to Pho Bac.

L W.

Yelp
Quite generous portions of protein in pho orders. Not bad flavor but soup temperature not high enough. Place is generally clean. Service is average. Overall an okay establishment.

Jeremy B.

Yelp
I've had good from here a few times now. It's really good and the staff are very friendly. It's a good take out spot as well, order online and drop in for pickup. The food is decent and reasonably priced. I've had better pho before which is why it's a 4 star review, but for what it is I like it and I recommend it.

Jasmin G.

Yelp
Always great food! Same quality when it's delivered and when I'm able to sit down in the restaurant.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Best spring rolls in texas, maybe even in america. Best pho in dallas. Only pho spot I go to now.

SuperSozaboy S.

Yelp
me and family used to love coming here ! but the last three times we gotten food poisoning !! beware. the place across the street didn't give us that issue !

Ruth M.

Yelp
Customer service provided was very good. The waiter was very attentive of our needs while eating lunch there. The only thing that we disliked was that the soup and veggies smelled funny. The ambiance of the place was just right. Not too loud, it was pleasant.

Kacie D.

Yelp
I've been coming here for almost 10 years. I only like about four out of the few hundred pho spots in Dallas. This is my number one. I either get the Pho Tai Bo Vien (tai on the side cause I like my meat medium rare), Pho Ga, or Com Thit Nuong. Don't listen to the people talking down on the broth, take it from a Vietnamese, this is the closest to perfect - real pho broth is made so that you can adjust the taste to your preference using sriracha, hoisin sauce, and the vegetables anyway. They only have a large and xlarge bowl but they charge the same as a small/medium bowl anywhere else. The eggrolls and spring rolls are a little taxed, but I promise it's worth it. The eggrolls are fried so crunchy yet so soft on the inside. My food always comes out in less than 10 minutes, it is piping hot, and fresh.

Tina N.

Yelp
Ice coffee is great, but a little too strong for me. End up always taking the rest of it to go for the car ride home. Since I don't see ham, I usually ask for two eggs in my bahn mi which they are always willing to accommodate.

Carmen H.

Yelp
Another attempt to find some yummy Pho with all this cold weather. The chicken Pho has little chicken & the broth is lacking favor. My Bun Hue very oily and both our dishes had fatty proteins. I can make better Pho at home & do. Meh!!!

Paul G.

Yelp
There are a few other pho restaurants with the same "Pho Pasteur" name, however, do not be fooled, this place beats all of them, by far. Their bun bo hue is better than all the bun bo hue I've tried in Dallas so far and their pho is extremely flavorful and tasty. Do try them out if you want the best.

Phuong V.

Yelp
Their pho broth is so good! Authentic! I especially love their bun bo Hue (bún bò Huế)! Tender meat and flavorful broth (a bit spicy tho). As a UTD student, I love coming here because it's so close to campus! I definitely think that Pho Pasteur is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area! Come try their food and you'll see

Hoai-Nam N.

Yelp
Broth was lacking in depth and overall flavors and don't say that a dish has crab in it if you are going to use imitation crab. The service was ok since I had to ask multiple times for some peppers. Ambiance is very sad and it has seen better days. Would not recommend at all.

C S.

Yelp
I live just around the corner but never tried this place. actually placed order at what I thought was a different restaurant but I'm so glad I was wrong. This hidden gem provided warm, tasty spring rolls, plentiful and very delicious grilled chicken and a wonderful pho. although I'd never been here before, I will definitely be back!
