A Hidden Gem I Wish I Found Sooner! After living nearby for years and somehow never stopping in, my wife and I finally gave Pho Saigon 1 a try -after we moved further away. Funny enough, it's now become a regular spot for us, and we make the drive happily. The food is consistently excellent. My wife had the chicken noodle (Phở Gà) and loved the clean, comforting broth and generous portion of tender chicken. I ordered the Bún Bò Huế, and it hit every mark—rich, spicy, and full of flavor with perfectly cooked noodles and hearty slices of beef and pork. The staff is always welcoming, service is quick, and the atmosphere is relaxed but clean. It’s the kind of spot that feels like a local secret, even though it’s been there all along. Definitely one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. We’re just kicking ourselves for not trying it sooner!

What an amazing restaurant. My wife placed an order late at night. Typically I wont order if the restaurant is about to close but it was the highest rated restaurant open until 9pm. I arrived 10 min past closing and they still took care of us. The broth was amazing. I would highly recommend the filet mignon pho (rare). If you’re in the mood for an authentic mom and pop shop, stop by here!

Voted BEST of the Southland for San Fernando Valley and Ventura by the LA Times for 2023! Great family owned and authentic Vietnamese food with a diverse menu. They’re known for having some of the best pho in the valley. Their broth is top-notch! A great place for Pho in the Chatsworth area. BBQ Pork Fresh Spring Rolls with a fantastic peanut sauce Bún Bò Hué (Spicy Hue’s Beef) had a very flavorful broth that wasn’t too spicy (Got medium spice level) It came with large rice vermicelli noodles. Cơm chiên sài gòn was a combination Saigon fried rice with shrimp, pork, Vietnamese sausage and mixed veggies. My absolute favorite!! It’s a simple dish with complex flavors!!

So even though I have a pho place close by to my house. It's not the same. The pieces of brisket in the soup here are chunks or thicker cut pieces that are tender and just melt in your mouth. I usually get the XL 15 with no tendon or tripe. And extra brisket. Never disappoints. Beyond full. When I order through Uber it's usually $26 with the tip for the driver. Eating it here is only $16. But of course you're paying for delivery etc. They have a number of items besides soup on the menu such as seafood etc. The restaurant is nice big and clean. The waiters are attentive to your needs. This is my favorite spot to go when I'm in the area. Or at home ordering through the Uber app.

This place has officially become one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in the valley!! I personally am not a huge fan of Pho but this place has so many different items on the menu. The best part is they recently added cajon food and have crab, shrimp, mussels and more! I ordered the filet mignon with rice and the cream cheese wontons. With my friend group we also had the egg rolls and the spring rolls that are wrapped with rice paper. I also got the Thai tea which was one of the best ones I've ever had. The service here is amazing. They are so friendly and were able to explain many of their food options to me. There is lots of indoor dining tables insides and is good for small and large parties. They also have delivery service options if you can't make it in person to eat.

I love this spot and have been coming for years. Tons of seating, easy parking, beautiful restaurant, perfect pho, and good prices. The handmade noodles they’re offering now are awesome too!

It wouldn't hurt to add a call button for staff at each table. A button is placed in the corner of the table, and a light turns on for the staff to let them know the customer needs something. I saw this in Europe)

Been trying all the viet food in the hood and this one by far the nicest and most authentic. Got the rice dish it was so flavorful

Felt like having a little soup today. Decided to give this place a try. I'm glad I came. I ordered a seafood soup and my daughter ordered a beef soup. We also ordered an order of BBQ pork spring rolls. We were both so happy. Place was busy, yet we were seated right away. Our server came almost immediately and took our order. No kidding, our food came out in less than 10min. We were really happy. And will definitely come back again.

This place is our go to when we are in the valley! Anything you get here is amazing! First off it's a family owned place. Their menu is huge! Unlike some places that do a lot and do it ok this place no matter what you order it tastes fresh and delicious. Their phô broth is our favorite of any pho around. They also have crab boil too. The service is always great and friendly. The prices are great and not overpriced. Portions are always huge. Have never had anything bad from here. It is in a small strip mall on Devonshire but the place is huge.

First time coming here, service was quick and attentive. This place is pretty spacious and clean. The decorations and karaoke corner makes the place seem more lively. Aswell as their massive photo display of pho spices. I tried their pho bo vien. Broth was nice and hot. Very flavorful didnt need to add too much hoisin or sriracha. Like that they had disposable chopsticks vs the reusable slippery ones. Only con was their small bowl portion is too small for the price. Will come back if in the area to try their other dishes and smoothies.

I've beein wanting to try this place due to its good reviews and finally came to have dinner on a Friday night around 7:30ish with my fam. The place is big but I thought it was kind of dark on the inside but I think it is part of their ambience - like romantic, semi formal theme. The entire restaurant is neat and clean. The servers which I think are the ownere were nice and attentive. I was surprise to see thwir menu, they have so mich to offer at this place. They even have cajun seafood though we didn't tried that and went with the traditional Vietnames food instead. I loved their Pho, the broth is really good and very flavorful compared to other Pho place I've been in the valley. I also tried their rice dish beef fillet, it was good too, its on the sweet side, nit the typical shaken beef I've tried from other place. We tried their Taro and WOW, the best taro smoothie I've ever had. My husband also ordered this Thai fruit sheelt Gruel for our dessert, usually I am not a fan of coconut milk and ot anything sweet but then again this dessert was really delicious. I am so glad that we finally git to eat here and we will for sure come back!

I have to give it 4 stars, though. During my most recent visit, I noticed my soup didn't have as much meat as usual, which was a bit disappointing. This was unusual, as they typically serve generous portions. Additionally, I've noticed a few flies every time I've visited, which raises some concerns about cleanliness. On the bright side, the ambiance is pleasant with good lighting and enjoyable music that sets a nice mood. Despite the minor hiccups, Pho Saigon 1 remains a favorite, thanks to its diverse menu and speedy service.

Been craving some good authentic hot soup, got an oxtail pho, and it was successful! The restaurant is spacious, and the booth seat is cozy and comfortable. Service was decent. This place would be perfect for a family eat-out or casual date. I highly recommend it and will come back here again!

The staff here were nice, & the lighting in this place was great. The food didn't take long for it to come out. The food was also delicious especially with the chili sauce they have. The staff were really nice & the fried rice has a lot of good flavor in it. I definitely recommend this place

First off, let me just say that parking here sucks. There some street parking spots close by, but I can't imagine there being many options when the evening rolls around with people coming home from work. Walking in, the restaurant is pretty big. Probably the biggest Vietnamese restaurant in the Valley next to Asian Sisters on De Soto. The restaurant is a bit outdated with what looks to be a karaoke set up in one of the corners. This is a family owned business as it looks like the whole family was there when I visited. I walked in and immediately was hit with the Pho aroma. That's already a great thing. It was probably 1/4 full when I walked in around 1ish. Sat in one of the booths and placed my order for Pho Xe Lua and Bun Bo Hue to go. Waited about 5 minutes and the food came out. I can't really tell between a regular and large bowl anymore. Either way, I tasted the broth and it was delicious. This is before I added anything in to it. It was the classic pho taste with a slight sweetness to it. The noodles here seem to be a little bit thinner than other places I've been to. It was still fresh and chewy, so it didn't bother me. The meat however was hard. It wasn't tender and I'm thinking they are using a cheaper cut as I didn't taste much fat on it. The brisket had more flavor and was tender, but they cut it with the grain, so it was stringy and a little tough to chew. I wish they would cut against the grain to make the dish more enjoyable. There's pieces of tendon, trip and meatballs. Now, I haven't to every Pho place in the Valley, but I think it's safe to say that this is probably the best Pho in the Valley and competes with the SGV for sure. I'll update this review after I have the BBH for dinner. The service was attentive and I like that they came by and checked on me.

Delicious! Fresh! Friendly! Authentic Vietnamese cuisine! I ordered the fillet mignon with rice plate to go. It was ready within 15 minutes. The staff at the restaurant is extremely friendly and the order was packaged, neatly and safely. One of the containers had the fillet mignon with white onions and it sauce. The second container had fluffy, fresh steamed rice. There was also a sandwich bag of pickled vegetables and fresh lettuce. They did a great job with packaging everything separately so it doesn't get soggy. The fillet mignon is cooked perfectly. It is very tender, extremely flavorful, and the sauce is perfect. Once you immerse it with the fresh fluffy steam rice also enjoyed the pickled vegetables, the fresh vegetables, and the steam, fluffy rice. Definitely, definitely recommend! Prices are fair, menu is extensive and the customer service is on point. And I forgot to mention, this is authentic Vietnamese food.

Shrinkflation has hit! For the price of these entrees, you should definitively be getting more than 3-4 Oz of tofu, 2 mushrooms, and half an onion as the entirety of the entree. Same with the lemongrass imitation beef - 3-4 Oz of seitan plus some onions. LOL. That's all I have to say. If you look at the photo, you can see the size of the "entree" and that bit of lettuce and tomato above it... that's the complimentary salad that comes with it. It's nearly the same size. I mean... totally not worth the money, even if it is tasty. Also, a few times we got real beef instead of imitation beef, which was really annoying as we don't eat meat anymore. Funnily enough, the serving size was just as tiny. I think the only thing worth getting might be the pho, but even that has gotten smaller. Barely got any noodles on our last order and the cilantro was brown.

Okay, been coming here for too long and gotta show my love. Great spot, good ambiance and delicious pho. My go-to is rare steak and brisket and it never disappoints. Delicious broth, tasty noodles and good quality meat, make this pho spot my local favorite. One of the top spots in SFV for me, along with Feu in Studio City. Definitely recommend!

I've been getting takeout at this restaurant since I moved here from Covina about 2 years now. This is the first time that ordered the regular pho steak and receive a poorly small portion. Also when they brought it to me the app hadn't told me that my food was waiting for me outside. Anyways after eating this I'm still hungry. I can't believe I paid $15 for this small portion.

Best all year around but a must have in this cold weather days, Pho is yummy and warms up all up and even clears up all those sinus , must add all the chile.

This is one of my go to spots for pho in the valley. I've dined in and ordered for take out numerous times. Their filet mignon and rare steak pho is my go to, sometimes I'll swap the rice noodles for egg noodles. Their menu is huge! Not only do they have a ton of noodle soup options and main dishes, they have a seafood by the pound and also a lot of drink options! The service is pretty quick here which is nice. The restaurant itself is pretty big and fits a lot of guests. The parking spot on the other hand is not that big since it shares a lot with other businesses.

Excellent vermicelli beef / egg roll bowl. Flavorful char in the beef, egg rolls nice and crispy. Ordered a side of pho broth to hold it down. Fast quick friendly service. Always excellent kind energy here, great environment.

Food is good, typical of Vietnamese family restaurants. Nothing fancy , just come and enjoy their food. They have more than just Pho. Menu is quite impressive. Service is very good. They are quick to welcome you as soon as you step in to this place and within seconds hand you their menu. Parking is rather problematic so it's best to beat the lunch crowd or come between traditional meal hours. Ambience could use some upgrade ! Try this restaurant and judge for yourself.

Love this place. Their Vietnamese egg rolls are super delicious. You also can not go wrong with their beef noodle soup. So much flavor and I love all the fresh herbs they give you.

Was in the area, and based on Yelp reviews, I gave them a try. Got a ton of stuff to go: Oxtail Pho: I've had oxtail hundred's of times, just never in pho. The broth was pretty good. The meat needed to cooked a little longer, because if it's not fully cooked, the meat will stick to the bones and becomes difficult to get off. Filet Mignon Pho: Meat was very good. Egg rolls: Good, nothing special. Grilled pork: VERY good, I'd highly recommend. Beef banh mi: Not good. Not enough meat, not worth the price.

Did they change their broth recipe? That was delicious. Not sure why I didn't enjoy it before, but I went twice now and each time was great. Food came out quick, but it was still great!

I craved virmecelli for dinner and surprised at the great ambiance because i only go during lunch. Its cozy at night. Great for dates or group of friends who just want to hangout and taste superb pho soup.

I've had the pleasure of trying out Pho Saigon 1! Let me just say, I'm over the moon with the food and service! The staff are attentive and make their rounds plenty of times to make sure you're comfortable or need anything. I don't think I've ever experienced such great service! I love the energy. The restaurant's ambiance was truly charming and calming. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a smiling gentleman, giving off an inviting atmosphere. They have open windows, bringing in a ton of natural lighting. It's a spacious area with plenty of seating. We were seated right away. The food is fresh! I've only had the beef pho here and it does not disappoint. The flavors are fresh and the meat melts in your mouth. I was feeling a bit under the weather, and it fixed me right up. They offer a good portion of fresh basil, bean sprouts, and ginger. I absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. If you're in the mood for a flavorful, fresh soup-- this is your place. This food is amazing! During this chilly weather I always crave Pho. I'm so glad I found this spot. The times I've gone we've gotten fried dumplings, fresh spring rolls and my favvvveeee #14 Pho, Fillet Mignon Can't wait to go back! The workers are always nice and the food comes out fast!

Really cute place and seemed the part. Drove by and it caught my eye but sadly sat down and no one came check on us for an order. We sat for 20 minutes no one greeted us or said hello. What a sad experience

This is a great Vietnamese restaurant. Has a wide variety of food in the menu. I got fried dumplings and oxtail soup and they were delicious! Service was great and decent parking. Not too far from my work. Highly recommend if you're craving Vietnamese food!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVEEE this place! Ambiance is nice and cozy. Restaurant is big with plenty of seating. A bonus is that it's super clean and well kept. Staff are always attentive, super sweet n nice, and quick with a great attitude. Food never misses no matter which dish you get. Their prices are very affordable and portions are big! My favorites are their spicy beef stew, the large pho with tripe, beef flank, n meatballs, and I believe #54 their beef plate. The fried tofu and spring rolls are amazing - always a must to start with when you go. Their Thai tea is bomb too! Definitely my go to pho spot. Wish I didn't live so far tho

I ordered food to go, but the items were not packed as I had requested. To make matters worse, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the mistake. It was disappointing.

The food was good. Ambience was upscale but not fancy. Service was friendly but nothing to rave about. They served us with individual veggie platters portions were small. Menu prices were around $15/ bowl and at my fav spot we get 2x the soup

My first ever time trying pho and I have to say, it was amazing. I ordered the ox tail pho and man was it an amazing meal. Super filling and really tasty and homemade feeling. The waiters were super attentive and smiled. The ambiance of the place was amazing. Take your date here or if you want to try something new out. Definitely give it a visit.

My dear friend invited me here for a late lunch since I was feeling under the weather! What a lovely suggestion and surprise that I've never been here! The food is delicious and tasty, the Pho broth is just right with all the right flavor and glass noodles texture! The spring tools with peanut sauce are delightful and devine. This food was so good to my belly, heart and soul. Thank you lovely family for serving delightful food that smacks the belly and heart just right. We will be back!

Food is homemade taste delicious. The vegan pho has good portions of veggies and I'm not vegan but I do love eating vegan with my daughters that are vegan. The tempura veggies are crispy and tasty. Most of the time is nice and quiet. Waiters are friendly and attentive. I've been coming here since 2018 and I have no complaints.

I always ordered chicken, pho and chicken porridge. When I get Covid and flu, I ordered them via Uber Eats. They are so good and tasty and make me feel better. The service is good. They pack the food carefully. Nothing spilled. I'm not sure about the ambience because I always eat at home.

A friend took me here last week and wow the food was amazing. The egg rolls were some of the best I have had and the pho was delicious without needing a bunch of additional sauces. Great food I will definitely return.

Delicious Pho! Great portions on other dishes and the restaurant setting is good. Food comes out quickly and hot! One of my favorites. Even for delivery, food is very good.

I've been coming here for a while, but I had a really bad experience this evening. I ordered my normal meal, but the meat was so tough, I couldn't eat it. So ultimately, I did not get to have my dinner. I was shocked when they only offered to take half of the dinner off the bill. I didn't argue, I wanted to be pleasant, but I also have to say publicly and hopefully the owner reads this, how inappropriate this is. Somebody comes to have dinner at their spot, can't eat the food because the meat is too tough and then it's not fully taken off the bill. Everyone wound up being able to eat, but me, I went home hungry. Needless to say I'm not happy, I will not be coming back.

We drive an hour away to come here. It's my dads favorite place to eat and it's worth it. Their oxtail pho was extraordinary! So tender and full of flavor. We love their eggrolls and every dish we ordered were amazing. We had a party of 12 and they were able to accommodate and their service was on point! The restaurant has a greenery at the entrance and it was beautiful. We love it here!

Full disclosure, I have never physically entered this place. But I do order from them through Doordash at least once a week. I can tell you, I am hooked on their Oxtail Pho. It is pure comfort food...or at least hangover food. The broth is perfect and the gelatin from the oxtail melts perfectly into the soup to create a virtual hug for your mouth and belly. Just order it already!

I always come here and am never disappointed. So nice to have fresh Vietnamese food right in Chatsworth. The service is always great! The people are kind. But of course the best part is the food!! The spring rolls are to die for, they have the best wonton soup for miles, and their Vietnamese coffee is sweet and delicious! And of course the place is nice and clean:)
