The essential Vietnamese pho restaurants in Las Vegas - Eater Vegas

"The Pho Saigon 8 brand, which has been in Las Vegas for more than a decade, has three locations where diners can choose from more than 15 different types of pho. The Chinatown location’s Strip-adjacent position and extended hours make it the perfect spot for post-midnight pho and dishes from the late-night menu such as grilled wild boar, fried butter quail, and frog leg porridge." - Janna Karel

Came with my family in a big group for lunch last weekend. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered several appetizers - rolls of several kinds, dumplings, and other things. Several of us got slow drip coffee poured over ice, as well. We all got different types of dishes, from pho to dry dishes of noodles. The only damper on the meal was that they forgot one of our member's orders, and he sat waiting for his food for a while without anyone realizing. Very flavorful dishes, and that was probably the best Viet food I've had in Vegas so far.

Google
I decided to visit Pho Saigon 80 for the first time. I went at 1:00 pm which seems to be a very busy time. The lady at the front desk was determine to find me a table. I was able to be seated after 10 mins. The menu looks good and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the fried egg roll which has a combo of pork and shrimp! They were delicious and hot when it was served. It a a must item! The bun bo hue soup was ok but it seems like they took the pho broth and added some spices to make it look like Bun Bo Hue. They didn’t have the specific broth for the bun bo hue soup. It wasn’t spicy at all and the broth was very bland. The ingredients included was good but definitely not abundant like it should be. There is plenty of parking and the people were really nice. I may come back to try something else but I wasnt impressed with the experience.

Google
Very nice ambiance and service is great. Food is passable for vietnamese. We chicken and rice and pho. The pho is questionable. We've had pho all over N America and in Vietnam, this location is rated one of the two worst restaurants for pho in my travels. The other is in Brantford, ON. I am very surprise on the google ratings.

Google
This is by far one of my favorite places to visit when I am in Las Vegas. If you love pho, if you want authentic flavors, this is a spot. I absolutely love the staff. The only reason I gave the service of four is because sometimes there may be a language barrier with some of the staff. If you’re not patient, you may get a little bit upset, but just be patient because they are so kind and they will get somebody else to help. The atmosphere is so worth it and the price is even better. The food is not too expensive. I always get sleepy after consuming their pho. I won’t have it in the morning, I will usually have it at night before heading to bed.

Google
The food was delicious but the service was disappointing. They just put the order on the table and didn't put it in front of the person who ordered it, and they didn't even refill the water. What was surprising was that they charged an 18% tip without asking. If they want an 18% tip, they should provide better service. They have such poor manners that I don't want to go

Google
The service provided at the end was wild. Everything started off fine. We were seated immediately, order quickly taken and food arrived quickly. When I went to the register to ask for containers for our leftovers though, the lady who came up to help me didn't seem to understand and TOOK ME BY MY ARM back to my table to see? Then she came back to the table with some containers, motioned that she'd help me pack our food... And then proceeded to pour 2 different noodle soups TOGETHER into the same cup! When I was trying to stop her, she seemed puzzled! She didn't even bring all the containers after looking over the table and had to go get more. If you don't finish your food, make sure you pack your own food to take home! 😂 Never had this happen before

Google
Great taste, clean, good value! I ordered #18 & #70 for a 2-person dinner. It costs $37 plus tips.

Google
Awesome little Vietnamese restaurant. We came during a busy hour and waiting about 10mins to be seated. Not bad. Took a little while for waters, but you could tell everyone was busy doing things to help every table. Took about 15mins to get our order in. Once we ordered, our food started coming out in no time! Which was awesome because we were all really hungry (party of 4). Egg rolls, spring rolls and potstickers were very good! I ordered a flat noodle dish (79). It wasn’t what I expected, but still was very flavorful. Everyone else on our table loved what they ordered. ☺️ Boba’s and Thai teas were also really good! Not watered down like a lot of other boba drinks. Thanks again for the great food! We will have to come back on a day it’s not so busy to get better service. ☺️

Yelp
I REALLY enjoyed this place. I love Pho a lot and I've had difficulty finding a place that I enjoyed a lot after Sunflower closed down. I told my nail lady how much I really love this soup and how hard it's been to find a really good one. She offered that when her mom cooked it next time, she will give me some. Obviously I accepted the offer. She also said that her family only goes to this place. So obviously, I took the advice from someone who really knows this cuisine. It did not disappoint. I could've done good with not having the fatty beef, but the rare steak and brisket were really good! The broth was delicious too!! Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

Yelp
First ,they gave me the wrong order.Next, the cashier charged me higher than the price listed on the newly made menu . They gave me not fresh jalapeno slices, obviously from the fridge from the night before coz the slices eere mushed and flimsy, nit crispy as a newly sliced jalapeňo would look like . The soup not that hot and not that flavorful Quite disappointed coz i loved Pho...‍‍‍

Yelp
I was referred this restaurant from a friend. Small clean place with ample seating. There were a couple of diners there when I came. We ordered their combination pho and their Vietnamese pancake (banh xeo) Everything was nicely presented and looked good. The portion was ok, but I thought it was kinda pricey for 2 people. The servers were friendly & helpful. I would come back since it's close by.
google avatar

Yelp
Good selection, fair price and the amount of food was sufficient. Food was good but not great. I wish there was more I could base the review upon but there wasn't.

Yelp
It was my mom's birthday and it was a cloudy day and she really wanted pho. They have been coming for years but I haven't been since I was a teen. It did not disappoint. The waitress was sweet and accommodating to us who were following lent (no red meat). Order a seafood pho which is my mom's favorite because of the rich flavor of the broth. I ordered vermicelli noodles with shrimp and chicken. The chicken had so much flavor! Sometimes it's hard to not have dry chicken but this place grills it to perfection. The portions were big! The place is very spacious and we got seated right away. Once we were seated big parties started coming in since it was lunch time. I will definitely be coming back and trying more good. Would recommend to locals and tourist.

Yelp
I love this place!! Food was delicious!! There are several Pho Saigon 8 in town but I really like this location. The place has nice relaxed and spacious atmosphere. Very clean restaurant. Everything was clean here. I ordered Vegan Spring Roll (#3), Vermicelli noodles with Chicken with side of extra sauce (#64), and Iced Coffee with condensed milk. For the vermicelli noodle bowl, I always pour the entire sauce onto the bowl and stir very well. I always ask for extra sauce. It is very tasty. I also put a lot of red chili sauce for extra savory flavor! I don't use sriracha for this one. It's the way you supposed to eat it. The sauce and red chili sauce if you want it little spicy. Everything was perfect. I was very pleased.
google avatar

Irene K.

Yelp
Every time I go, it's filled with Vietnamese poeple. That's a good sign as far as I'm concerned! The fact that the food is good simply punctuates it.
google avatar

Victoria T.

Yelp
Pho was good but the music was so off putting. The owner changed the music every 30 seconds and it was on YouTube so it has ads and she got busy during one of them and the as kept running for 3m about health problems. Service was normal. The Xi Muoi drink is too sweet and could use a bit more salt. They also have smaller sized bowls of pho, it's just not on the menu
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
That's a generous 2 stars. The inside was nice and clean. The look was the only thing good about this place. We ordered 2 pho bowls & an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls were so bland. There was no flavor at all. We had to smother them in the peanut sauce to eat them, but even then they were not good. I guess flavor is non existent in this place, because the pho broth was flavorless. It just tasted like water. We took a couple of bites & decided to just leave, because it was not enjoyable. Oh and the bathroom was dirty and smelled like urine.
google avatar

Yelp
We had late dinner last night. We ordered 3 appetizers, 2 soups and my brother-in-law ordered pork chops with rice. My husband and I were very careful to order food with no pork. Fresh shrimp spring rolls has pork and I didn't read carefully. The lady heard me asking if the fried dumplings is pork , she immediately came and told us it's chicken not pork. I told her I don't eat pork. And she said they will take out the pork on the fresh spring rolls. That was very nice of her. The appetizers were freshly cooked and very good. Our soups were delicious. My brother-in-law said the pork chops were very good.
google avatar

Sarah M.

Yelp
First off, we always come here at least once a week. This place never misses, the broth is soo good! Especially if you don't like your broth too sweet. The lady that is always working, she knows our order immediately when she see us. She is literally the best! I high recommend this place for pho! My bf gets the chicken pho and I rotate between #13 & #16. We always get extra slice onions and jalapeños.
google avatar

Yelp
Another best pho restaurant that me and my boyfriend, family go to. Every pho restaurants have different menu so if I'm craving for certain things that others don't have, they have it here. Everything I have ordered here never did disappoint, all delicious. All their staffs are very friendly and always serving you with smiles on their faces. The place has good space especially if you're bringing alot of friends with you. I love all those cute stuff they put in their counter
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
I literally could eat here every single day. Every time I visit, the restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly, there's never a wait to be sat, and my food always arrives quick. Phuong is always there to to greet me with a smile and she took the time to help me establish my favorite things like the difference between their homemade chili oil versus their chili paste and she never looks at me weird when I order an entire bowl of crunchy onions to add to the top of my pho. Every time I visit Edwin and Truong remember me and greet me with smiles. They all check on me to ensure my meal is great each time. 10/10 would recommend this spot

Yelp
Updated with different dish: Food: good Pho broth; good authentic selection of rice dishes; no broken rice (com tam) unfortunately. Service: good attentive workers Ambience: can be crowded and long waiting lines; good vibe of Vietnamese culture Still too afraid to order the egg noodle (Mi) from last visit.
google avatar

Yelp
First time here . Clean places and friendly people. I was well greet in and happy customer service. Fresh chicken
google avatar

Deric G.

Yelp
Amazing! This is a gem, the quality of food was perfect. Prepared correctly, the store was very clean. Service was quick and attentive I had the pho, spring rolls and iced coffee. By far freshest ingredients I've had in a while

Jellybean S.

Yelp
Avocado Shake = half of a (small) avocado, a bunch of ice, and some milk (but cost $5.35). Spend your money elsewhere if you want a true avocado shake, when I asked them about it they said if I wanted a full avocado it would cost double. Otherwise decent food. Thai tea was too sweet.

Yelp
I've been on a pho break for the last 3 years due to a bad experience at a place that I won't name. The food here has rekindled my love for pho, and i've now been here 3 times in the last 3 weeks. service is always great, and the food comes quick. the inside is very spacious and calm.

Taylor L.

Yelp
This is my go to pho place! I have always experienced wonderful service and the food always comes out in a timely manner.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
I love this place. The food is great. My favorite is the number 70 but I'm willing to try different things but I eventually come back to number 70. Good service nice people
google avatar

mui d.

Yelp
They have fat brisket on the menu. I don't see much pho resto that offers that anymore. The soup was very good, layers of proper flavor and served hot that way it's supposed to. Service was good, clean place... Will definitely come back here again. Wish they had a place you Sacramento.
google avatar

Tasia-nichole B.

Yelp
Service and staff were so kind. We came in with a family of 5. Two adults , one teen, and two cranky and fussy toddlers. We got a chance to choose our seating of choice which was the booth of course. We were sat down not more than 3 minutes of coming in to dine in. Food was great and of course we didn't have to wait either .
google avatar

Amber Z.

Yelp
Stopped with my daughter as she had never had Pho. The staff spoke with her to ensure she ordered what she like and explained how to eat Pho. The location has plenty of parking and the restaurant had plenty of seating. The restaurant was clean and peaceful.
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Ordered #27 to go with fresh coconut. Delicious & cured the hangover! Restaurant is nice, clean & pretty spacious. Waited about 10min, which is really fast. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Hank C.

Yelp
Las Vegas is getting desert chilly and hot Pho tai with all the herbs and noodles are #1. The service is quite special and the staff is beyond welcoming. Egg roll lettuce wraps and tangy fish sauce. Spectacular crunch and flavor packed, need I advise more. Get there today and order.....
google avatar

Arthur L.

Yelp
I enjoyed the space and service, I did destroy my pho but I did need to doctor it a bit. The base broth was subtle but too subtle for me. I gave it a 4/5 due to this. I liked a lot of their options for other foods but we wanted pho specifically.
google avatar

Claudia G.

Yelp
Love the pho here ! It's never too busy and food is great not to mention reasonable priced!
google avatar

Vivian Q.

Yelp
Honestly, the best spring roll and the best vermicelli I have !!!!!!! This is what I always order in Vietnamese restaurants. Plus, they offer 15% tips and giving a great services.
google avatar

Diana W.

Yelp
Like James T tipped, it's good to know Vietnamese community eats here. It's simple and decent but maybe we didn't get the correct dishes? $14.85 Pho Tai Nam Gau Bo Vien Ve Sach #18 was okay. Lots of noodles, some goodies, rare eye round could have been better quality or more rare (I forgot to ask for it in the side), but the broth was just bland. Out of 3 orders of #18, 2 of them were considered bland. $13.05 Roasted Cornish Hen with French rice was actually pretty flavorful. The rice was okay. $5.55 Fresh Coconut was what is expected and good. Egg rolls came out fresh out of the dryer, super hot. Was okay. Friend (family has pho restaurant too) who got the beef stew said it was okay/not a fan but meat quality was good. Pay at the front. Credit card is taken. Everything seemed a little less than okay for us?

Yelp
Atmosphere: Pho Saigon 8 is a spacious, comfortable pho place on Spring Mountain Road. The inside looks like your classic Vietnamese restaurant, and there are plenty of tables. Service: We got seated, ordered, and served almost immediately. Pho Saigon has some of the fastest service for pho. Food: We ordered the small #21 (pho with rare eye round, flank, brisket, tendon, skirt flank) and #24 (pho with well cooked lean beef and flank). The broth is delicious and beefy, and they always give a generous amount of noodles and meat with their soup. Especially for the price, the pho is filling, fresh, and flavorful! Overall: Pho Saigon 8 serves quick, delicious pho that will fill you up, even for a small bowl. We've never had any problems with their pho or service and would recommend Pho Saigon 8 if you are wanting to satisfy a pho craving!
google avatar

Yelp
Came in on a whim before attending a concert at Allegiant Stadium. Though there were lots of people there wasn't a wait to be seated or to get my food. I had the #18 pho which was delicious. Also had Cha Gio to share. My Family tried the Mi Hoanh and said it was delicious. The broth was yummy. I'd be back again when visiting.
google avatar

Yelp
Love coming here always the food is bomb just one time my pho came out cold but I let the waitress know and brought me another plate
google avatar

Jon B.

Yelp
Tried this place yesterday. Been hard to find some good Pho places in Las Vegas. The food here is fairly good. I ordered the Chicken Vermicelli and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken had good flavor and the bowl was a good size. It has mixed in lettuce, peanuts, bean sprouts and sauce. To me it was delicious. The place itself could be a little cleaner. Overall I'd give the food 8/10 and the restaurant ambience a 7/10. Parking can be tight once the place gets crowded as it's surrounded by other eateries.

Yelp
We have been to this restaurant a few times now. They can get quite a queue sometimes so make sure you go inside and put your name on a clipboard on the counter. You have a good mix of various folks here from different ethnic backgrounds so that tells me a lot of people love Pho and Vietnamese cuisine, which is great! Their prices went up to make up for the losses from the pandemic. We ordered 1. nem nuong cuon ($7 something) 2. Pho ga with dark meat ($14, used to be around $11). They will ask if you want the bean sprouts blanched or not, so that's a good option if you worry the beansprouts aren't washed thoroughly, lol 5. Bun Bo Hue ($15, used to be around 11-12) We have ordered other items here before and this time, the food is no different: The food is down right on point with flavors. They are consistently good, every time we come here (which is why we keep coming back). I was impressed at how fresh the nem nuong cuon today and the peanut dipping sauce was good. One thing we really like is their sate chili sauce: you need to ask them for that condiment because it is not always readily at the table. Their services are better than other asian restaurants, they come fairly quickly and will ask you if what goes into your selected entrees are ok (eg onions). Oh, their bathrooms are just like most asian restaurants unfortunately, so don't expect much. The 4 stars are for their tasty food (consistently!). One of our definite "go to" spots!
google avatar

Amelia S.

Yelp
Good Vietnamese food though the portion of the tofu in the vegetable pho was stingy. Chicken pho and rare steak pho were good as well. Vietnamese coffee was nice and strong. Overall a solid experience.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
(FOOD) Got the combo pho with everything. It's decent enough for 13 bucks. Not the best but it'll do. The tripe on the other hand is extra soft and the cuts of meat are bite sized which is great. The noodles were soft as balls since they kept breaking when I grabbed them. It was probably a mistake on their part but I'll let it slide. The presentation was nice tho. (SERVICE) Faster than Speedy Gonzales. (PLACE) It's bigger than it looks on the outside. Good amount of tables and traditional pho restaurant decor. Decent amount of parking too. (VERDICT) I came here because Viet Noodle Bar 5 minutes away was packing fat on a freaking Monday. I ain't got time to wait in lines and this place was a decent substitute. 7 stars outta 9.
google avatar

Mary Ann R.

Yelp
This is by far my fave pho spot! I usually order seafood pho and theirs always satisfies! And flavor has been consistent. My family orders other dishes and we always leave with empty plates/bowls and full bellies. The service and ambiance is mediocre but the food, portion and price makes up for what they lack.
google avatar

Mee L.

Yelp
Today we ordered the pho (really yummy broth!!), bun thit nuong (make sure you mix it up, the veggies are on the bottom lol), spring rolls (alright, had a lot of noodles), and egg rolls (crispy and delicious with pork meat). The food came out fast and the servers reminded me of my mom because they just want to feed you and get you on with your day lol. Pho Saigon 8 is in our top fav Vegas Pho places for sure.
google avatar

Liz J.

Yelp
I've been here twice before and I just felt there was zero customer service this time. Additionally, some of the toppings for the pho looked past its best before date. The basil had black all over it and only the limes seemed fresh. Definitely not the best experience this time around.

Yelp
It's finally starting to cool down in Las Vegas and my friend and I were craving a good bowl of phó. It was my first time at this spot and I thought the restaurant looked very nice inside, plenty of space and tables for a big groups of people. Here's the thing the menu was kind of confusing it would have items listed and then right next to it, it would say temporarily unavailable. My thing is if it isn't available then take it off the menu, it wasn't 1 or 2 items it was several items. Second thing was I checked in on Yelp and a gift certificate popped up for a free glass of wine with a entree order, showed it to them and they said they don't do that and that I must of checked in at the wrong location. I showed them the address it was indeed the correct restaurant, but they just said sorry they don't know what that is. So if that's the case just take it down! Didn't really care to have the wine anyway. Now I will say the food we ordered was great it hit the spot the pho broth was really good and the egg rolls were crispy, we enjoyed it. Thai tea was good as well. We went up to the counter to pay as no one came by to check on us again and we left. Food is good, prices are reasonable, service is not the best, I would much rather order take out next time.
google avatar

Wang Y.

Yelp
My brother and I are on a Pho tour. We were told to come here. Service is standard. I don't expect good service at a Pho restaurant because if its too good their food sucks. Ambiance is as expected. Loud Vietnamese music, lots of customers and plenty of conversation going on. Now for the Pho, we're specifically ordering Pho Tai. Its neutral and available at every pho place. Broth is fantastic. Plenty of flavor. If you're the type of person who doesn't put in Hoisin and Sriracha you will not be disappointed. Bean sprouts, and all the fixings were fresh as well. A small note I pay attention to is how the Jalapenos are cut. Some places cut them long ways like you would in Banh Mi. For Pho I prefer the thin circular cut. The only gripe is I prefer my noodles to be a bit more cooked. Which is my fault. I could have let my bowl sit a little longer. This place checks all the boxes. I however would not recommend the Avocado smoothie. Lots of chunks of ice and even an Avocado pit. However this is a Pho review and not a smoothie review.

Deborah L.

Yelp
Best Pho in Vegas. I Love their Spring Rolls. Food is consistently good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Jonah B.

Yelp
No wonder they've had so many health violations in the past. They've had ratings as low as C. It's clear to see that sanitization is low on the priority list and making horrible food is number one. If your favorite garnish is a roach, then look no further! This place adds extra protein to your meals at no extra cost! What a steal! Don't even get me started on the pathetic excuse for service. They are rude, inattentive, dismissive, and just downright awful. Don't waste your time or money coming here.
google avatar

leyna t.

Yelp
The decor and table arrangements are very open and welcoming giving a very good first impression! The service was extremely efficient, kind and respectful. I was here with my family/family friends of 20 people and the food came out in 10 minutes!!! The food was delicious, plentiful and fresh. Highly recommend!

An R.

Yelp
Ordered pho and beef stew. Both with thin rice noodle both dishes are delicious! Meat is tender and full of flavor.

Yelp
I always come to pho saigon for their chicken pho! Food and service are excellent!! The best pho in vegas so far!
google avatar

Natalie R.

Yelp
Nice place, good pho. Beef stew with French bread is a must. Pork and shrimp were amazing, cooked on a grill. Service was good, had to ask for a check three times though. The only super annoying thing was a music as if elevator's music.
google avatar

Yelp
Portion was good. Ordered the nem nuong cuon and com tam bi suong cha, and lemonade thru uber eats. Nem nuong: good sauce, nemnuong was decent but definitely needed some pickles acidic punch to complement the sweet flavors. Pork Chop, shredded pork, and egg cake: very bland and no flavors, fish sauce and pickles were too sweet. Lemonade: so watered down . Well packaged and I appreciated they followed instructions to give me utensils and hot sauce.

Yelp
We for starters they don't accept any Yelp coupons. Management said they stopped awhile ago. Then four tables came in back to back and the third table ordered first. We haven't been to this location in awhile and it seemed disorganized. New menu - didn't get a chance to take any pictures. Food still good BEST Fried egg rolls; sliced pork good too. Service - waitress horrible but busser and food runner good.
