Yelp
++FAVORITE SPOT IN KATY FOR SOLID VIETNAMESE FOOD++
I've been here 5 times already, including with my LA movers. An extensive menu with many items to choose from. From noodles to rice dishes at very reasonable prices -- it's a bargain compared to $14 Pad Thai.
PARKING
========
Strip mall, can be challenging after 5pm or weekends.
AMBIANCE
==========
Spacious, clean, and modern. Love sitting against the wall in one of the booths.
FOOD
======
MÌ BÒ KHO
Egg noodle with beef stew was actually tasty, but quite fatty and high in sodium. I like a bit more spice and flavor. Generous portion for a LARGE, next time, I will order the smaller portion.

PHỞ CHÍN
OK, I am a total pho snob and I refuse to acknowledge anything better than Pho 79 in Orange County. But I am willing to try others and can tell you now it's not comparable. The broth was on the salty side and there was no depth of flavor. The noodles were OK, not thin and fresh as I'd like.
RATING: 3/5
BÚN THỊT NƯỚNG CHẢ GIÒ
Vermicelli with charbroiled sliced pork and fried egg roll is always a good go-to if you're unsure what to order. Very generous meat portions with plenty of greens.
RATING: 3.5/4

CAFÉ SỮA ĐÁ
Iced coffee with condensed milk is on the sweeter side, so I would request more ice to water down the sweetness.

DESSERT
========
SƯƠNG SA HỘT LỰU
Jelly & tapioca in coconut milk is my favorite Vietnamese dessert (second to flan). The fact that they have this dessert, and it's actually good, I am grateful.

Love the friendly and super efficient staff here. Always cheerful and sweet. We never have to wait more than 10 minutes for our food, even when crowded.

Not the best Vietnamese food ever, but it's a favorite because I enjoy the vibe. RECOMMEND.
