"When Vietnamese food wins the vote, opt for Pho Saigon in Pearland. Brothy chicken or beef pho noodle bowls can be customized with thin or thick rice noodles, egg, or clear noodles. A host of vermicelli bowls boast fragrant ingredients like cucumber, mint leaves, bean sprouts, and lettuce." - Megha McSwain

Food here has consistently been good, but have a couple of gripes from my latest visit. First of all, despite it being the slow period between lunch and dinner, with few to no other patrons dining in, the music was VERY loud. We asked both our waiter and later a waitress to lower the volume so we could talk, but it was never turned down even a little and became an impediment to our party being able to have a leisurely, conversational lunch (we were meeting to commemorate a milestone birthday). The process to pay was also somewhat baffling, as no itemized bill was ever presented, basically you're expected to pay and then with your receipt you get an itemized bill. A blurry list of what we ordered was eventually provided, without prices, but the whole process was off putting. An extension of the recent trend where merchants now ask whether you want your receipt for a purchase, implying why would you, now I guess they don't even show you an itemized bill just pay whatever we tell you..... To be fair our waiter was perfectly friendly and pleasant (despite spending much time on his phone), but the loud music and weird bill situation detracted from what could have otherwise been a perfect lunch.

Google
The food was good, similar to the other four Pho Saigon locations I've visited. However, the service at this location needs significant improvement. Despite there being only about six customers, the two servers at the front spent most of their time chatting with each other and on their phones. Neither of them checked in on us, and we were given only one medium-sized cup of water for the entire meal.

Best Vietnamese in Pearland!!! Exceptional, friendly service. Phenomenal pho, authentic bahn mi and Vietnamese coffee! Fresh avacado smoothie, clean restrooms, you can’t go wrong here! Try it out!

Great Pho. Good food. Nice customer service.

Google
This is my go to Pho restaurant due to the location and they have vegan broth but the service has always been meh for years. It got better for awhile but after today, I can’t go back anymore. I walked in, no one greeted us, we sat ourselves since no one said anything, someone comes to the table with menus and doesn’t speak at all. Then someone else comes right after with water and also doesn’t open their mouth. I just got up and left. The minimum thing you can do in the service industry is say hello! Do better! I left and went to Yummy Pho which is just a few minutes away. I was greeted immediately and walked to a seat.

For a first timer get the combination. Perfect customer service but the only thing is if you want a coke or anything it does come in a can not fountain.

Google
The pho used to be really delicious here. In adding, the efficiency used to be good, too. Unfortunately, the quality has gone down tremendously. My noodles were undercooked, the soup was very greasy, and my sandwich was drenched in mayo and flavorless. Service is also underwhelming. There are multiple dirty tables throughout the restaurant. Also, I noticed the ac vents dripping and what appears to be mold growing around the vents. I hope the owners come back into the restaurant and turn things around for the better until then, I won't be back.

Google
I guess I should’ve taken a picture before I started eating I just couldn’t help myself 😂 to say this was good it’s an understatement. Thank you Pho Saigon for this amazing meal and I’ll be back! And sorry for the 3 stars on service but I would’ve ordered egg rolls but no one checked on me 😫

Yelp
Went here for dinner with friends after not going for a while. Love how modern and clean it looks inside. The chicken pho hit the spot, as usual, and the staff was very attentive. They also brought out some pandan waffles for us to try and they were great as well. Thanks for the great experience :)

Yelp
I've been to this place a few times, and I feel that it's a different experience each time. The place itself is large with plenty of seating. It looks clean, and newly remodeled with nicely decorated walls. However, every time I've dined here, upon arrival about a third of the tables are unoccupied with dirty dishes. On my last visit I decided to stop by on a rainy day. The place was busy, but not all crowded. After being seated, it took nearly ten min to have a person take our drink orders. From where I was seated I could see some of the staff standing and talking in the kitchen area, which made experience all the more frustrating. I also saw different tables looking around for their waiters, so I quickly realized other people were having a similar experience. After the food finally arrive *siggghh*, I realized my child's plate was missing. Once again I had to wave our waiter down and wait for him to come over. It took another ten min for her food to be out. I have no complaints of the food itself. The broth is flavorful, and the large bowls have plenty of meat. My suggestion for the restaurant would be to consider switching to a cafe style restaurant. I feel ordering upon arrival would save some time for the staff, and possibly give them time to clear the tables for new customers.

Yelp
This was actually our third time here since we live pretty close. We stopped by for lunch and got their com thit nuong and pho tai nam gau gan. The dishes tasted okay to me, I've had better pho in other Pearland restaurants. The com thit nuong had great flavor and was cooked well. It came with a broth on the side, but it was way too salty for my liking. The pho tai nam gau gan was also really salty and the meat (besides the Eye round steak) was over cooked. We didn't have to add any extra hoisin sauce or Sriracha to the broth because of how salty it was. During our previous visits, we had the same or similar dishes but I do not remember their food tasting as salty as it did during this one. Service was not great. our waitress took our order and someone else dropped off our food. After that no one else came by to check up on us or to refill our drinks.

Yelp
The weather was cold so decided to visit this place since we were in Pearland and we normally go to Pho Ben in Sugarland. The spring rolls had shrimp & lettuce no other herbs. The pho ga had no favor along with Bun bo Hue. They ran out of herbs for it. Coffee is good. I would not come back to this place. The restaurant is clean and service was good. The bathroom is dirty and no paper towel.

Andrew W.

Yelp
First time coming here! We ordered vegetarian pho, banmi, sprig roll and they were all good! I enjoyed my pho noodles a lot because the texture was just for me!! :) Will be back again here and I'm happy that this is in my neighborhood Vegetarian friendly and fairly quick service Enjoy the authentic modern Vietnamese vibe! Come and enjoy your Vietnamese cuisines Cheers

Leandro R.

Yelp
Food was really good! As it is at other locations! Friendly staff and quick service with all the items ordered. Restaurant was clean. I will definitely be stopping by again.

Charles N.

Yelp
Dont order the spring rolls. Looks like my 9 year old rolled them. Pathetic. The meat to noodle ratio is way off.

Tamieka B.

Yelp
Went here recently when the temperature dropped a few days ago. My husband and I were headed home and ordered food togo via phone when we were about 10mins away. Food was packed and waiting when I arrived. There was a very sweet elderly man that ring me up at the register. I ordered Veggie Pho, veggie egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls; Veggie Pho: broth is flavorful and it comes with noodles, bean sprouts, cilantro, mint, jalapeño, lime, mushrooms broccoli and carrots. It also came with tofu, but I didn't like the consistency. Veggie Eggrolls: will definitely order again. These are small but flavorful when you add the shredded pickled veggies and wrap it in the lettuce to eat. Shrimp spring rolls: waste of money. Small w/ 3tiny Shrimp, rice noodles and a thin piece of lettuce. They definitely have some work to do with these (I will stick with the ones from NAM) All in all, will definitely be back on any cold day for the Pho. It don't disappoint:)

SRay G.

Yelp
Negative 10 stars. Went with my friend and her two kids. This place is shady. Talk about shrinkflation. The egg roll is just as thin as two wooden chopsticks. It was mostly wrapper. The place is also disgusting and dirty.

Wendy C.

Yelp
Definitely a go to when craving for some hot soup. Great options and staff was nice. Dishes comes quickly too, so if you need to grab a quick bite or has a really hungry child, go here!

Adelita V.

Yelp
Been going to this location since they opened. The pho is okay but their customer service is non-existent. Today I've had enough. Husband got a "lemon drink" which is a lemonade and asked for no ice. For some reason he checked the receipt and saw a $1 charge for no ice he asked the cashier and he said they charge more because "you get more drink". Idk about y'all but that cup isn't even filled all the way. Last time I was there I got a pork sandwich and asked if they would please cut it in half and the older lady cut me off mid sentence to tell me no. If you want good pho and good customer service, find another place...Yummy Pho Bo Ne by Sam's and 288 is a good option and their meatballs are fresh.

Jai M.

Yelp
This location is amazing! Great pho, great staff, and a great environment. 10/10 if I could, come here if you want good Vietnamese food!

Tim C.

Yelp
We wanted some great pho like their Katy location, it was good but not as good. The egg noodles were just average, the broth was very good, the meatballs were not very good. The pork banh mi sammy was good, I got extra meat and a fried egg.....not as good as their Katy location. My wife enjoyed a fruit smoothie, I liked my iced Vietnamese coffee drink....3 stars. We shared a couple Viet fried egg rolls....3 stars. We like an itemized bill, I guess they don't do that here....minus 1 star.

Yelp
Walked in.. found a place to sit. Waiter came to take our drinks and give us menus. It took 20 minutes to get drinks when they had plenty of staff available. Only a few tables seated. A few employees were sitting at a table too busy flirting. Even saw 2 of them walk off to the rest rooms 60 seconds apart and walk back at the same time with the girl fixing her hair. Classy. Waited for food, which came reasonably, except mine was missing. Got drinks and food at the same time. Ordered 2 bowls of pho and a child's chicken noodle soup. Only got one bowl of pho and the chicken soup. Waitress had to go to the register to put in my order when she had verified what we wanted before she left the first time. The food was good but I was disappointed I got my food by the time my husband was near finished with his. The meat cuts in my pho also weren't entirely what I ordered. I also felt like they shorted me on meat. I barely had but a few pieces. There was also a guy with his phone blasting movies the entire time and which was really rude. They let half the restaurant leave and didn't even say much to him. Seems the service is much better when there is less employees on staff. The more there are the more they seem to not really give a f.. Have been here several times and never had a bad experience until today. Don't think I'll be coming back. I'll find somewhere else that actually respects their customers.

Ty K.

Yelp
The food was great, but I had to make a review just for this. I went in today for the first time, and there was this poor girl running around helping people, bringing out drinks, vegetables, all at full speed while the other servers acted like they did not care at all!! You can tell it is shared tips, but I wanted this girl to keep the tips to herself. It was busy and I couldn't even enjoy my food watching this young girl struggle with little to no help.

Rolando O.

Yelp
What else can I say about this business but wow!!! I got here and was sat done in 10 seconds. The waiter came in 30 secs, took our order and the food was out in 2 mins!! Food was delicious, meat was tender, vegetables were fresh, milk tea was sweet and refreshing. 10/10 recommend

Amber M.

Yelp
I called in order at 7:34. The lady Lied and said they were out of soup. Bad service!

Juan P.

Yelp
Horrible service!! Ordered take out for two people ad when I requested hot sauce the cashier said it was extra! 50c each... whatever I know prices and inflation keep rising, but i asked for 4 of these and than he tells me it's a minimum of 5 bucks purchase because I have already paid for my order is ridiculous!!! Than I asked at least give me 1 or 2 since I don't want to pay $5 for 10, the cashier refused!! Holly cow, I come here almost every weekend with my family and yes they Always kind of rude, but this is just ridiculous Skip this location, I'll be taking my business down the street and never again coming back here. Ps They didn't include chop sticks, peanut sauce or limes in my order... I guess that's extra too

Jacob B.

Yelp
I am Pho Real! We've been to PS several times, a great place to have family & friend meals! Customer service is always helpful and friendly. The dining experience is always clean & pleasant; we really enjoy dining in! We love us some Pho & PS vegan Pho is the real deal! We had: -Tofu Pho Other Vegan Options: **Because they offer tofu, you can ask for tofu as a meat substitute. Just double-check on egg, broth, & sauce. -Tofu Rice -Tofu Noodles -Fresh Vegetarian Spring Roll -Tofu Vermicelli -Vegetarian Noodle Soup COVID Notes -Indoor seating is available -Social distance & masks are not required. Staff wore masks. -Customer service was delightful, safe, and helpful -Ordering was effortless & smooth -No issues at all. Thank you, Pho Saigon, for having Vegan Options!

Jazmine R.

Yelp
I literally found a piece of metal like the dish cleaner one on my pho ! They gave me a discount but the food was good I would go again

James M.

Yelp
So we've passed this place several times and is almost alway busy. So we decided to give it a try. Let me start by saying myself and my family loves Vietnamese food we've frequently try new locations. We ordered spring rolls they were very bland no flavor. The peanut sauce was watery my daughters chicken pho tasted like chicken soup watered had very little flavor. I ordered lemon grass beef vermicelli bowl the noodles were mushy fish sauce was like it had been watered down and very weak. Veggies were tiny mostly just noodles I had to ask for extra bean sprouts and carrots and cucumber. My wife's shrimp vermicelli bowl was same shrimp was bland like the took the shrimp off a cocktail platter no grill marks or even looked like It had been cooked. The lemon grass beef was just tasteless we were so dissatisfied. We won't be returning. If I could give it no stars I would have.

Kevin P.

Yelp
If you order the food and it's not what you wanted the owner gets mad and talks crazy to you over some $10 pho. Stay away from this place! The owner doesn't understand that the consumers are the only reason he's in business. They're are too many Pho restaurants in the area to take any disrespect from Pho Saigon.

Jonarose V.

Yelp
Welp... I've been craving Phó for literally the longest time. And the crave gets worse when you're too afraid to ask your Vietnamese boyfriend to make some for you. Shoutout to my godbrother for tagging along on this foodie trip too. Stopped by Pho Saigon in Pearland, TX not so far from the city. Some of the reviews I've read on Yelp weren't the greatest, but that didn't stop us. To my great surprise, the broth was pretty bomb. I felt the love cooked in it. Only wish there was more meatballs in the combination bowl. Also loved the Thai Milk Tea with Boba. I'll be sure to come back again, this time try different drinks as their drink menu looks promising. The only thing is that, when I did takeout a few days ago... boy did they skimp me on my meat. Like literally barely anything there. And the Thai Milk Tea definitely lacked flavor too as opposed to when I dined in. Idk. Maybe just went on a bad day?

Claudine L.

Yelp
So I been to the other location downtown unfortunately I think I like that one better. Customer service is better there and the food. I had a grilled pork Vermicelli Bowl with an egg roll and a fried egg. I did eat all my food. However, the bowl was mainly noodles with a few pieces of meet and the pieces of carrot and cucumber were tiny. At the other location they give you more veggies and meat. Also my fish sauce was not as powerful as I like. I will give it another try maybe get the pho next time but so far it was just okay.

Koko L.

Yelp
we used to come here and it was decent but today I left this place very disappointed. The quality and quantity of the meat in the Vermicelli bowls of pork and chicken have gone down hill. not to mention the soggy Vietnamese egg rolls with no crunch !!!! So grossed out left this. Place hungry!

Chris S.

Yelp
Don't get me wrong I would love to give this place five stars the food was amazing actually enjoyed FO. It was rich in flavor, but the service was very very slow. No one came to check on us and people who arrived after us got their food before we did and we sat down for 10 minutes and no one came to service us

Hilary Z.

Yelp
Ordered food to-go online and it was prepared quickly. The pho is delicious (pho ga thit trang), but there really isn't much of a difference in the portion size from a small to a large ($1 more) besides more broth. The Thai tea with tapioca was also great. The drinks were prepared when I arrived so they were fresh.

Jessica A.

Yelp
Customer service is sometimes on and off. I wish we had a Cali sandwich in Pearland.Just a disappointment.

David L.

Yelp
Walked into this place at 8:28, guy comes out yells "to go only" .. they must not want the business... Smh.. you at 9..

Terry O.

Yelp
First time coming to this restaurant at noon. i had the Pha Ga. The food was good and it came out quickly. That's why I gave it 2 stars. The rest of it was not positive. The sign said to wait to be seated so I stood upfront for at least 3-5 minutes before somebody even acknowledged that I was standing there. They were not super busy at the time. A young girl saw me and finally told me to sit anywhere. After that, nobody came to take my order for at least 10 minutes. I almost went up to the counter to ask for somebody to help me. After I got my food, nobody checked on me and I needed a fork and my waiter never brought the bill. I just went to the front and paid. Super poor service. They did appear busy when I left and slightly understaffed. I won't go there again.

Angeline P.

Yelp
love the pho here! especially the banh mi bo kho, the vietnamese food here tastes authentic compared to other ones i've tried in Pearland! the servers were very kind and diligent with my order, and i didn't have to wait long for my meal. the vibe is also really chill and they've recently decorated for halloween and i love it!!

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I been here twice and it's always delicious. I get the chicken pho with veggie rolls. Ready in 5 mins. Package nicely. No wait. So delicious and military discount available

Jonathan N.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the customer service was amazing! Apparently the store is under new, excellent management. The manager even went around to check on the customers, willing to go the extra mile.

Mark M.

Yelp
I am so happy that I don't have to drive all the way into downtown Houston to get my pho fix. If you take a look at my review of that location on Milam, there were sanitation issues which made me hesitant to go back. However, it's harder to quit this restaurant than I thought. To be succinct, this location is just a flavorful and they are always willing to accommodate my small requests (extra veggies, etc.). I normally get the #40 (white meat chicken with chicken broth), however, on the days I want a vegetarian option, they can do a tofu as your protein and they can even do a veggie broth. When you call in your to-go order, it is ready quickly and correctly.

Foodie B.

Yelp
The Pho was great, the servers were friendly. The concept/operation could improve. Having a "wait to be seated sign" then you go pay at the counter when you're done eating is a bit unconventional. They also need to either refill drinks or put out a refill station. Overall, good food and friendly people. Maybe they can get the ops side figured out soon.

Nic P.

Yelp
The people are nice and the food is always consistent. I can always depend on my order.

David N.

Yelp
I came by Pho Saigon's new location in Pearland and I must say, the area is lucky to have the strong brand in the neighborhood. They are in a new strip center as the center tenant, they are next to a Bambu, so it looks like the developers are trying to bring in some strong Asian cuisine. This location is very clean inside and my wife and I had a bowl of pho each. We both opted for large bowls, and most places in Houston has been filling it up with all noodles and being cheap on the meats, this place does NOT do that. They pile on the meat! I was very happy with that the quantity and quality of the meat. The broth was solid also.

Erik S.

Yelp
Very good pho guy take it out. Lots of veggies with the pho. Very nice staff and quick.

Patti R.

Yelp
The noodles were over cooked and mushy. They don't give you hardly any vegetables or limes to add to your meal. I had to wave down staff for just something as simple as a fork straw just anything at all. I couldn't get a tea refill and when I finished the mushy noodles and tried to get a tea refill they expected for me to pay for it even though they never even attempted to fill my drink. I hate having to get up from your dinner table to ask servers to serve you. No I'm not expecting fine dining just some common sense when you're running a restaurant. When I tried to explain to the girl behind the counter why I didn't think I should pay for more tea when they serve me the first tea I paid for. The girl behind the counter wouldn't even let me finish a sentence without trying to argue with me. My only question is when you didn't serve me tea at my table why should you charge me if I come to the counter and ask for it. I eat at the Pho Saigon in Clute Texas. It is wonderful. Servers speak English there. I will never eat this crap again. Noodles & Service sucks.

Victoria M.

Yelp
Pearland-ers rejoice! Good pho has finally made to your hood! The pho is delicious and consistent with the midtown location. Plenty of non-pho options as well. The space is open and well designed, enhancing your dining experience. The staff is working their tails off during the soft opening (which already looks like a full functioning operation) so a little patience helps. Ample parking in a shared lot and a sizable sign on the building to keep you from passing it by.

Zoe G.

Yelp
Delish, love the vegetarian spring rolls! Everything here is so good. The golden milk tea is very good as well!

Keoria N.

Yelp
literally here sitting waiting on a to go order. front desk person who welcomed nobody upon arrival i had to speak 2 times before i got a dry reply of "hi" how do you have the audacity to not welcome patrons who are the main reason why you have a business?!!!!! wth ‍

Seaworldo O.

Yelp
Best pho I've had in years !! The service is amazing here !! Definitely recommend for some quick pho

Michiko N.

Yelp
we tried getting to go orders from here but we didnt like the food and we thought we should try dining in. we did. we still didnt like it and on top of it, the guy taking our order got both our orders wrong. i asked for water with lemon and the guy gave me just ice. i order #30(beef stew) and my husband ordered #11 (pho with steak only) we both got a different order. Additionally, my husband ordered an extra beef soup that never came. the place only have 6 tables at the time.

Judy N.

Yelp
Very bad service!!! Come in never say hi or sit you down . All the workers were put their legs on the chair and eating and just ignore the customers!!! Look like they don't need anyone business!!!

Yvonne R.

Yelp
Will never go back to Pho Saigon in Pearland... We have been dining here for the last 3 years even ordered out during the pandemic but have never experienced anything like this before here or at any other restaurants in my life. Yesterday May 14 around 1 pm I took my parents and my brothers from CA to Pho Saigon for lunch. There was 7 of us. We asked for ice water and lemon, the waiter (big build guy) brought out 4 water and 4 pieces of lemon. We waited and thought he would bring out more but he didn't so we asked for more water and lemon. He brought out more water but no lemon. We placed the food order, then my mom decided she'd like some hot tea so we again placed the order for tea and he asked us in a very irritated voice "is there anything else this last time"? We told him no. But we waited and thought he'd bring out more lemon but he didn't, so my 86 years old dad asked "can we have more lemon". He angrily yelled at my dad and said "I asked earlier if you need anything else and you said no and now you wanted more". I immediately told him "don't talk to an elderly person like that or your customers for that matters". He aggressively lunged at me and said "what do you want woman" as if he was ready to hit me. The manager/owner ran over to stop him but he pushed back and still yelled at me. Then my brother told him "that's very rude of you to speak to your customers like that", he immediately and aggressively turned to my brother and wanted to fight. The owner ran over but didn't apologize to us (maybe he didn't have time) but kept pulling the waiter to the kitchen. We all get up to leave, as we were leaving I informed the customers there that the waiter was very rude, hostile and is dangerous to stay around and we will never come back so we all immediately left the restaurant and went to Yummy Pho instead and had a great meal and were treated courteously.

Adetola V.

Yelp
TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Do not eat here. The employees are unbelievably rude and the pho was tasteless. I would not recommend this awful place.

Vicky B.

Yelp
My safe place to go eat a good bowl of pho or bun bo hue when I want soup. Every time I go service is always different. Sometimes the waiters are attentive and other times they just dont come by the table for you to get extra sauce dishes or refill on drinks. Food overall is always delicious though. The place is generally very clean and great for families or groups of 5-7 to eat together. They can move tables together to accommodate larger groups of necessary.

Dat H.

Yelp
The food was alright not great but if hungry for pho and u can't wait other pho restaurants to open go here and support

Anthony L.

Yelp
Staff was rude and I felt rushed through the entire meal. Our server cut-off my wife while she was simply asking for the children's bowl to not have "greens" to say that it didn't come with vegetables like we were supposed to know that already. The prices on everything had been raised which I understand because of the current state of inflation, but the sizes and quality did not grow or maintain the same. We order Vietnamese eggrolls and they were skimpy at best. The lettuce it came with was completely white and small like we got the scraps. The eggrolls were chewie and barely had a crisp to them. When I mentioned it to our server he just looked at me and didn't say anything before walking away. This was not our first time here and we have actually been coming here since it opened after frequently visiting the one in Midtown area. We were extremely excited that this one had opened but after visiting today I don't know if we will be returning.
