This is probably some of tge freshest, tastiest food I've ever had. My family enjoys all the dishes from pho, to vermicelli bowls, noodles, spring rolls and this DELICIOUS STIR FRY DISH! Always great , friendly service and enjoyable atmosphere. It's always in our regular restaurant rotation. Stop by! UPDATE 11/16/25: They got a new chef and I can't believe it, but EVERYTHING we ordered tasted even better than before! The Pho was THE BEST I've had so far in SA! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been craving for Pho and visiting San Antonio—-bf and I came here and yayyy! I got seafood pho, he had Banh Mi and he finished it! He’s picky and he liked it! Great service, very clean and it passed my Asian tastebuds! Recommended!!!

I had the fried wontons and Bún bò Huế. The wontons didn't have much flavor but they were fried crispy and packed with meat. The Bún bò Huế came in a huge bowl filled with meats and noodles, flavorful and lightly spicy broth, and a plate full of herbs and bean sprouts on the side. Good service, clean restaurant, and enjoyed the music.

Wonderful environment, the food here is amazing and is always the best place to stop by to feel cozy and eat great food! The ladies and gentlemen are so sweet and attentive, really great service! I love coming here all the time it's my favorite spot!

Went with a buddy of mine since he and his Dad loves the place. I can see why, as I enjoyed the experience as well! I ordered enough, as usual, as to have leftovers. - Sesame Chicken with steamed rice - x2 Beef Eye Round and Steak? without the tendon... 😬 (i cant do it...) The food was great! Large serving size and delicious sesame chicken. The atmosphere was nice with the decor and the service members were attentive. I will hope to go back again to experience more as my pallete has grown.

I’m giving it a 1 star but would give it a zero if I could. Went with my wife and son and got seated and that sums up all our experience. We didn’t get given a menu so after a while I had to get up and them my self. The waitress kept walking past us ignoring us. We didn’t get anything and after waiting a while we just got up and left.

Some of the best Vietnamese food in town, the pho is mediocre however. Everything is very fresh and we love going, but the prices are some of the highest in town. I used to go several times a week but now I can’t justify the cost of the meal. I would still however absolutely recommend this place to anybody that hasn't been before

Staff was sweet, accommodating, warm, efficient, kind, and quick. Even let me come in 5 minutes after closing to pick up my pick up order. Not gonna lie, Worst $50 I ever spent. I didn’t like any of the food :( And the portions for nearly $10 for calamari and $10 for egg rolls (that were store bought tiny frozen nasty vegetable egg rolls) I wish there were pictures online. Kids pho didn’t come with any veggies but is a good size Still was underwhelming and the wonton soup I didn’t like either but at least I can sip the broth since I’m sick 🤍

Checking in again on this spot, which has easily become one of my favs! Real quick... Yesterday was a long and busy day, and was NOT in the mood to cook when we got home. Took a quick drive to P.S. , with an hour left before closing. We ordered quickly and it was served even quiclker. There was no loss of quality of the meal, of service, although I felt horrible for coming so late. I wish I knew his name, but our server (slim with glasses) came over and told us to please take our time eating and enjoy the meal. Im going to tell you, in todays service and hospitality industry that doesnt exist anymore. He was genuine, pleasant, and just very kind and it was such a surprise and we were grateful for it. Thank you for being you, the gentleman that served us, as well as the entire staff!!!!

First time getting food here and I must say this place is seriously so good and authentic! We ordered a to go order and when we arrived our order was carefully packed and ready. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a friendly hello and welcome. Staff were friendly and professional. The vibe at this place is unique! Decor is beautiful. You get the vibe of Vietnam eatery! It definitely takes you back with all the decor and I love the way they built the kitchen window to be able to see. Food ordered: 2 special pho- 5/5 seriously reminds me of meow my mom makes our homemade pho! Toppings are on point and the correct amount of meat to noodles ratio. I love that they didn't short us meat like a lot of places in Viet restaurants in SA do. Broth flavor is amazing! Highly recommended! Wonton soul: 5/5 mother in law loved this! She was having a stomach ache and wanted something light so this was perfect for her. She was raving how delicious this soup was. Grill pork banh mi: father in law enjoyed his sandwhich and also raved how yummy it was Do I recommend this place? Yes yes yes, run and support this family owned restaurant. Authentic Vietnamese food and great service! No shortcuts.. made the right way and portions. We can't wait to be back!

Oxtail soup under $18 and delicious iced tea. Fried chicken wings are really crispy. Service is great. I just recently realized they have a drive-through so I will be picking up my favorites. Ambience is dark with comfy booths. No baby changing table in the bathroom.

Date Night Vibes After binge watching YouTube videos of Asian street food, we decided Pho was a must. We ended up at Pho Saigon and were greeted right away by Tony, who took great care of us throughout the night. We ordered Strawberry Boba with popping bubbles (delicious) Flank Steak Pho (though a little light on the noodles), Vermicelli, and some cheesy mozzarella sticks to start. Everything came out quickly and Tony checked in on us often, which we appreciated. If I'm being honest, I think I would've enjoyed the Pad Thai more, I'm still not a fan of the warm salad combo with cold lettuce and bean sprouts, but overall, it was a cozy spot for a casual night out.

We got seated right away and there's good amount of parking. They have good selections of noodles, pho, and recently offering Chinese menu( short popular list). They give you a big plate so you can share with others if you want. We had so much leftovers after we're done. The Pho has a lot of meat in them and had great flavor and very tasty broth. The stir fried chicken with veggies is tasty as well. I'm giving a 4 star because the fried Vietnamese rolls were not crispy and it needed a bit more salt. It was bland.

Pho Saigon is the real deal! I'm not a frequent Thai food consumer but I know fresh food when I see it. We started with the Thai eggrolls as an appetizer. They arrived hot, fresh and crispy with delicious filling. The other dishes arrived in short order as they were prepared. I was astonished at the size. So when people say the food is pricy, they should also say each dish is about 4 normal servings! The Thai fried rice was pretty spicy so I mixed it with steamed white rice. They did not ask what spice level was preferred so I suggest you tell them what you like. The pho had a deliciously aromatic sweet and spicy flavor. The lemongrass chicken was a superstar dish as well. The service was friendly and very attentive. Finally the bathrooms and entire restaurant were very clean. Enjoy!

So, let me start by saying that I've actually never been to the restaurant. My experience is purely based on takeout orders, which I've done in the last couple of months. With that being said, every time I've ordered food from this restaurant everything has been delicious and packaged perfectly. My favorite item from this restaurant is their chicken pho (Pho Ga). They don't skimp with their takeout orders and make sure to put a lot of chicken and noodles. The broth for the pho is always delicious and done just right, and I like that they always send plenty of fresh garnishes for the pho. Overall, I've always had a great experience ordering from this restaurant!

We always get seated right away. Food price is more expensive than what I'm used to paying. A bowl of combination pho (pho day biet) is $16 but they do give you a lot portion wise. I take my family here when they come to visit and no one has any real complaints about the place. Staff is friendly and I would come back for more!

Pho Saigon - 10/10 This is hands down the best pho I've ever had. The broth is unmatched rich, flavorful, and comforting every single time. No other place even comes close. I always come here because nothing else satisfies like Pho Saigon. It's my go to, my favorite, and honestly, I don't even bother trying other spots anymore. If I'm craving pho, this is the only place that matters.

I've been here before and the food was excellent -- service too. That's why I decided to come back today. The first time was about a month ago, and I remembered how good it was. Funny thing -- I actually went to the wrong location at first. The moment I walked in the door, I knew something was off, so I turned right back around and found the one I was looking for. This time, I ordered the oxtail pho. Now, if I order oxtail pho, that means I must really want oxtail, right? Exactly. Well, the broth was flavorful, and the portion was generous, but here's the part that threw me -- barely any oxtail. Mostly just noodles and broth. If you put "oxtail" in the name, I expect to see and taste the oxtail, not have to go searching for it. Brisket was added , and when I ask why " because the oxtail were not to meaty' Don't get me wrong -- the flavor was still solid, and the staff were kind. But compared to my first visit, where everything felt on point, this one left me a little disappointed. I came back for the oxtail, and that's what I really wanted to enjoy.

When I placed my order I didn't realize how far down culebra Pho Saigon is located, as it's a bit off of the path for me. The menu is full of Vietnamese classics like noodle soups and vermicelli bowls. Decided to slam the tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce on the way home after work. They were so fresh and had hints of fresh basil and mint. The peanut sauce was so good, not watery and full of crushed peanuts. The vermicelli bowl had fresh cucumber, grilled shrimp and a nice vinegar sauce. It was the perfect girl dinner. They also have a drive through window for orders. Will definitely order from here again.

I have been wanting to try this place out for the longest, but I could never get myself to "cheat" on my go-to pho spot. However, we finally tried this spot for dinner yesterday as it was a perfect time for a bowl of pho, as the weather called for it. We ordered our usual as we would at any Vietnamese restaurant. It being: - Vietnamese spring roll (A1): Normally, these are my absolute favorite appetizers to start with, but I was pretty disappointed as the mint leaves took over the entire roll, and the pork meat was too thick and dry and overly chewy. The house peanut sauce was wayyyyy too thick for our liking, which also came with a ton of peanut chunks, which I also don't mind, but it was just too much. I couldn't finish it. - Vietnamese egg rolls (A6): This is my son's favorite order at any Vietnamese restaurant, and he usually eats the entire two rolls. However, he couldn't and offered the other roll to both my husband and me. My husband took a bite and decided that he didn't want it, so I took a bite and immediately understood why my son and husband didn't care to finish it. The egg rolls were soggy, and the filling was so mushy, as if it was left soaking in the grease oil it was fried in. The sweet chili sauce here was new to us and not what we were used to, and it had a weird taste. - Oxtail pho (N2): It came with two pieces of oxtail, and they added pieces of beef steak to offset the price of the oxtail pho ($16.25). The broth's flavor was overpowered with star anise, which gave a taste between cinnamon and black licorice (gag). Usually, I wouldn't mind it, but it was again overpowering to the point where I could not taste any "beef" in the broth. I added hoisin sauce, watered-down/bootleg siracha, and chili oil to see if it would help, and it did a bit, but I couldn't get over the overcooked rice noodles. As much as I tried to force myself to finish my pho, I couldn't. So I hated that I wasted my food. Again, the noodles were overcooked to my liking. Our go-to pho spot, where I always order oxtail pho, comes with six pieces of oxtail meat, and I only pay $15.99. - Eye round steak, brisket, and beef flank (N10): my husband ordered this, and again, sadly, his bowl of pho was wasted except for the meat, which he did not want to waste. As for the flavoring of the broth and rice noodles, please see *oxtail* above for broth flavor and noodles. Such a disappointment. My son initially ordered chicken pho, but the server returned and stated that they were out of chicken, which was such a shocker. So he settled for a kid's chopped steak pho, which he ended up not liking, so again, wasted food. Service could've been better. Our server barely came to see if we needed anything, and when we did, we would have to wave down another server, who also made us feel like we were such an inconvenience when asked for napkins and utensils. He would respond, "Your waiter will bring it to you," and walk off. I was a bit confused because it was not busy at all, and you could see them both hanging behind the counter on their phones. The ambiance was nice! Sadly, we will not be back and will stick with our go-to Vietnamese restaurant, which I promise never to cheat on again.

Clean nice place. Great service. Prices are a little higher than other pho places I've been to around town. Our waitress was nice. We ordered the spring rolls without pork and I did not like the mint leaves in the spring rolls. I've tried several pho places all over San Antonio and that was the first time I had mint leaves in my spring rolls. The pho had very dark broth which scared me a little. The brisket and meat were very tender and perfectly thinly sliced. I felt like the broth tasted too much like cinnamon and cloves and was very oily. Overall I didn't really care for the food and won't be going back but it was nice to try a new place.

We walked in without any expectations of this place and we were very impressed. This restaurant is one of these places that is hidden in plain sight. The inside of the restaurant is relaxing and not overly decorated. Their staff is very friendly and helpful, our server Gabriel went above and beyond for my family to have a good experience. The kids' meals were generously portioned and our pho bowls were on point. My kids loved the Crab Rangoon, the steamed pot stickers and were over the moon with the flavorful bobas. If you haven't tried it out yet and you live in the Alamo Ranch area, it's worth checking it out, let your palate be the judge.

Thursday lunch with the spouse. Was seated right away as the place was only about half full. Casual, comfortable, spacious, clean and their AC is definitely working. Haha. We order the Spring rolls that was fresh with lots of ingredients and the peanut sauce was very yummy. Sometimes the sauce has too much hoi sin sauce in it and you cannot taste the peanut butter. But, not this one. You could definitely taste the peanut butter and we loved how thick it was. We knew they didn't skimp by watering it down. I'm not vegetarian but I often like to order a vegetarian pho, hold the pho and add extra veggies. Many places just give me extra bean sprouts when I make that request. Not the place. They actually gave me extra veggies. I was delighted. The broth did not seem like the traditional broth as it had a hit of star anise. Odd at first but I didn't hate it. It was different but a nice different. The grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli bowl had very flavorful pork. The pork was tender and cooked perfectly. Egg roll was crispy crunchy. Their fish sauce was quite yummy. Overall, portions were huge, food was delicious and service was good. We do recommend and will be back. We have tried many authentic Vietnamese restaurants (with Vietnamese chefs) and have been to Vietnam and this place is on par.

Excellent service and delicious meal--meat was very tasty snd tender, a little salty but balanced out either way vermicelli, sauce was a tiny bit spicy but added atop the vermicelli it was great, salad also had cucumber slices, carrot slivers, bean sprouts and shredded iceberg lettuce--highly recommend

Looks can be very deceiving! Although the restaurant appeared to be nice and clean, the food was not! My husband and daughters got Pho, and it was just nasty and tasted dirty. It was as if they reused their broth. Upon arriving home, they were all throwing up and I had to take them to the ER where they all had food poisoning. I got the dumpling soup and it smelled rotten and tasted sour. I immediately spit it out. The egg rolls were supper soggy with no flavor. Normally when this happens, it means they make them in bulk, not fresh and take them out of the freezer and cook them! I had to call the restaurant and asked to speak to either the manager or owner. I was so mad I went off! I will be going back in to get my money back. Service was horrible. After being served the food, no one came to refill water or ask if everything was okay. If you value your health DO NOT EAT HERE!!

Pho is good, egg roll Was good. The pork chop rice dish was dry. Staff were courteous. Place looks clean.

The food is really good here. We did have an incident the first time we ordered here but staff was more than kind. Of course, the driving to and from here is horrible but that's not on them. It's just nuts on Culebra. The food makes it worth the traffic headache though.

This place was EXCELLENT!! The service was really good and fast, portions were huge and yummy. The overall atmosphere was nice, inviting, and very clean. 10/10 will eat here again!

The pho special was DEVINE! I got it with spicy broth and wobbled out. The staff was so sweet and friendly, our server checked in every few minutes going above and beyond. The Vietnamese coffee was DELICIOUS and a must try. Super thankful for the recommendation, the place met every single expectation surpassing anything close to this amazing.

My girls and I stopped into Pho Saigon on a Sunday evening because i had a craving for Banh Mi. The restaurant was very busy, with a lot of Asian & American patrons (that's a great sign). They have a pretty large menu but we stuck with what was considered to be appetizers or small plates. Goi Cuon (summer rolls) - very fresh, moist, packed with shrimp, pork, veggies and noodles. Loves the peanut sauce. Calamari - my 6 y/o ate this and really enjoyed it. There were a few overly crispy bits but not worth complaining about. Fried chicken wings - comes with 6 wings and a sweet chili dipping sauce. My 11 and 6 y/o liked this a lot! krab Rangoon - came with 6 very large pieces, filled from edge to edge. That was a treat because most places have a small amount of filling and maybe smaller Rangoons. This was perfect and tasted so good! Banh Mi Dac Biet - I'll start with this was really tasty. The bread was perfectly toasted. The pickled carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, and jalapeño were nice and crunchy. I did chop up the jalapeño because I like small traces of heat. The pâté was really yum. I always say, it's not a good Banh Mi without the pate! Ok so now... the sandwich had the classic ham but added in bbq pork, & grilled pork. It was not the traditional Banh mi I grew up eating, which has pork liver pâté and thinly sliced cold cuts (e.g., headcheese, giò lụa sausage, and pork shank), but it was still very good! It just threw me off cuz it wasn't cold cuts. All in all, I would totally come here again!

This hidden gem in the west side. The server was cordial, smilling and helpful in my choice of what to eat. This Pho was everything. Hot broth, rich in flavor and the ribs was a dinosaure rib, a lot of meat, tender. The restaurant is peaceful. The pho was a big bowl

We arrived a few minutes after they opened. By the time we were done, this place filled up. Our server Bruno checked in on us a couple times. Between our drinks and food. Very attentive. The beef stew has an option of bread or noodle. I was feeling noodles today and it was good. I finished the whole bowl. My friend had the oxtail pho (broth was flavored with a good amount of anise) and the mussels. They take apple pay, which was great!

Growing up in Houston, I loved going to Pho Saigon. I'm assuming this one is part of the chain but I'm not sure. I was excited it see its name show up in the area I recently moved into. Last week I was feeling under the weather and craved Wonton Noodle Soup. Now, I've had this at a lot of places and they're all very bleh. Because I trust Pho Saigon's name and it's quality, we ordered it to be delivered. The portions were big, the wontons were good, and they did not skimp on the bbq meat! I did have to reheat the broth because it got lukewarm during delivery but it was soooo good. Just what I wanted on a cold and rainy day. Broth was flavored perfectly, noodles cooked just right, meat was tender, and wontons actually tasted like authentic Vietnamese wontons (not like the Americanized crap). Overall I really enjoyed my noodle soup and will be back! Their pho is also very good!

10/10 the best Vietnamese restaurant in town! I've taken a lot of my Asian aunties and uncles here, and they absolutely love it! I brought them to other places and it just doesn't compare to anywhere else in San Antonio. I always get their pho dac biet (N1) with steamed bean sprouts! Whenever I'm super hungry I'll get another dish to share! The sandwiches are good as well as their rice dishes! It's always a great place to go when it's a cold day for pho! Last time I came here was yesterday, right after six flags! The atmosphere is fun and clean, the service is quick. If you don't think it's quick enough, you can just walk to the cashier in the back to check out if they're too busy!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant! Although I'm still exploring the menu, these are my favorite go-to dishes: The Saigon Special Wonton with Egg Noodle Soup Pho Saigon with Vermicelli Chicken Lemongrass with Vermicelli Chicken Pad Thai Saigon Sandwich - and let me tell you, this is no original sandwich! Lastly, I really pray for blessings on this business, beyond measure, for their support to Veterans. Check out this restaurant and the entrees I mentioned; you won't be disappointed!

I met a close friend at this eatery because she wanted to introduce me to her favorite Vietnamese restaurant. It was a little busy, with an early lunch crowd. We settled down and she started to order the food and out they came! They were tasty and delicious! We spent a lot of time discussing the different kinds of pho they offered so we tried her fave, N6 on the menu! It was delicious and plentiful! Of course, we started with the crab rangoon and although she liked them, I was not that enthused. They were ok. The ambiance was quiet and friendly. Our server was efficient and answered our questions. Soon as we got the orders squared away, he left us alone until our food was ready. I have tried a couple of Vietnamese eateries in San Antonio and so far, they have not disappointed me, but they have not impressed me either. Overall, if my friend invites me for lunch at her favorite pho place, I would oblige her!

Placed a phone order for lunch and the gentleman was very helpful. Arrived via drive they and did not have to wait very long and my order was ready and asked for some chili oil to add more spice. Reasonably priced for 2 meals and the portions as are big so no complaint here.

One of the only few places that I usually go to that actually serves one of the best Pho in Alamo Ranch, although a little bit expensive. One less star because they always skimp out on the main meat I order! :(

Pho Saigon redeemed! The past two visits have been great: the food was delicious, not greasy at all. This time we ordered the vermicelli noodle bowl with lemongrass tofu. It was bursting with delicious flavors. The texture of the tofu was amazing. The accompanying sauces were perfect compliments. There were fresh, crisp vegetables; the noodles were cooked perfectly. Totally worth 5 stars or more! We are so happy we gave them another try; we've loved them for years.

Just delicious. It comes with a generous amount of meat too.. enough to fill the broth bowl twice. Just full of flavor as well. It has no become my favorite spot for pho.

A little of a wait tonight, but totally worth it. We ordered Eyeround Steak Pho, Chicken Pho, Vegetable Fried Rolls, and Fried Dumplings. Service was great! We had a great time!

Today was my first time coming here and I am soo happy I gave this place a chance. It was sooo delicious, we had pho with steak and then fried dumpling's which was surprisingly tasty. My dad loved it here as well. Also the place itself is beautiful, and the staff was nice.

Came with a large group of 20 and the staff handled all of us plus a full restaurant without any issues. I was very impressed with their service and ambiance. The menu has plenty of options from appetizers to Pho and other entrees. I had the fresh spring rolls which were delicious and the peanut sauce was yummy. I also had the eye round pho, it was good but lacked a little flavor. It was my first time having Pho so I wasn't sure what to expect. The servings are huge so come with a big appetite. Unfortunately I did not have an opportunity to take photos but the bowls are bigger than your head. You definitely get your money's worth and then some.

Good seafood Pho, with a good helping of seafood. The broth was perfect and complimented the seafood perfectly. The service was excellent, quick attentive, and efficient.

Walked in sat immediately, waiter took our drink orders and brought the drinks back quickly. We ordered our food and about 3-4 minutes later my stir fried rice noodles with chicken came out!! Me and my wife love it! Taste just like homemade, full of flavor and cooked perfectly!! Few minutes after that the beef vermicelli arrived, and wow!! So fresh and flavorful and piping hot!! We ate as much as we could and couldn't finish either plate! Nice restaurant, very clean, great staff!! We'll definitely be back to try more on the menu!!

Place: I like the interior design and the vibes of the place. It's very light and clean. Restaurant do practice temperature checking before going inside and social distancing. Service: It was good! The staff were friendly and helpful, they know their food so much and it's a good thing since we are not that familiar they were able to help us what to choose. Food: The food was really great! We enjoyed the refreshing pho soups and the appetizer. We ordered the baked mussels and fried siomai as it seems. And we had N16 and N1. We will surely try other food in the menu next time.

My friend invited me to lunch and this was the place she picked. It had a ton of options, and even some for vegans! The server was attentive and friendly.

They never get disappoint! There servings are huge. You can see the differences in soup size in my post. The first time vieitingbi got my own and couldn't finish. This time I shared with my husband and we found up package by up all the rice and raking it home. The broth here is outstanding as is their service. I just wish we had a location closer to our side of town!
