It had a cute ambiance with 90s vibe and our server was excellent. She was also funny and kind. I was not expecting any kind of good meal and was surprised.
There were items on the menu I don't see often, especially in the Northeast, and wish I was with a large enough group to order all of them.

Goi cuon chay was very thick and I was excited to eat it. The peanut sauce was slightly weak but having all the correct sauces at the table meant that wasn't a problem. I was very happy my friend wasn't hungry enough to eat more of this one.
In the pho, broth was standard but great. Usually when I go out for pho I don't need much more than a sampler bowl from someone willing to share, but I cried a little inside when I finished my bowl, despite my friend put heaping amounts of beef in it. Beef was very tender and the cuts were gorgeous; not only quality-wise, but the skill of reducing protein fibers to toothpick out of the teeth.. 👌🏻
(TL;DR many restaurants roughly cut meat but the pieces for this were carefully butchered)
Bun thit cha gio - the grilled pork could have been more flavorful for me but overall I loved this bowl. The prawns were some of the best I've had in years that both me and my friend were either getting the juices from the skin or eating it altogether. The balance of veggies to protein to noodles was enjoyable. I took the rest of this home to have for brunch the next morning and it fared quite well.
We were quietly nibbling throughout the meal with little sounds of happy noms. Successful trip.
Excited to come back next time!
