The Dac Biet (mixed beef) option was amazing. Portions are large and flavourful and just very unpretentious and authentic. Lost of locals and travelers alike. A portion of fried bread sticks are great at soaking up the delicious broth 🤤 Will be back.

Their Pho Bo is so gooood!!!! We had this for breakfast during a rainy morning and it felt like a warm hug in the soul. Their broth and beef slices are more savory than the others we've tried. Serving size is a bit smaller than the others but it packs more flavor and fulfilment. Definitely recommendable!

Honestly, since I ate this pho, there is no other pho I have eaten without comparing it to this. This had become to me a the high standard of pho and I still dream of coming back for more. Everything about it was exceptional, the taste and texture of the noodles, the seasoning of the broth, the vegetables, and the meat!

It is an unassuming stall in an small alley. But the pho bo is highly recommended to be the best from the hotel staff. I went and not disappointed at all. The price is not expensive by local standard. Gone twice to try their different beef for the experience.

October 2025: I am a Level 7 contributor (> 400 reviews) on Google and regularly review eateries to provide an unbiased opinion. I decided to check out this restaurant for breakfast. I ordered the pho tai chin (rare and cooked beef) and a serve of fried doughnut. The seating is opposite the cooking area. The broth was amazing. What stood out was the generous portion of beef. In terms of size, this dish is half of the portion typically served in Melbourne but costs a fifth of the price. The fried doughnut was a great add on. I highly recommend that you check out this eatery when you are in Hanoi. Follow me for more recommendations of eateries and experiences in Asia and Melbourne.

A long-standing pho restaurant tucked away in a small alley of the Old Quarter. The broth is light and flavorful, and the meat is tender and aromatic. Definitely worth trying.

Decent bowl of pho. The broth was good but not outstanding. Meat was so so. Would come again but don’t understand why it’s constantly showing up on those curated “Best pho in Hanoi” lists
