"There’s something about a big bowl of pho that instantly warms the heart. This no-frills Vietnamese restaurant is the place to be when looking for a variety of pho noodle soups to take away the rainy day blues. The large portions and affordable prices make this an ideal place to grab some grub when the weather just won’t cooperate." - Amber Love Bond

First time eating viet food in this area. Prices are a bit higher than what I’ve seen back home. We ordered a grilled pork rice plate and a rare beef and beef ball pho. Grilled pork was a little more on the dry side Pho bowl was good simple but works. we also ordered summer and egg rolls for appetizer. Both were fine. I was curious about the banh xeo for next time . Staff was friendly and you pay at the counter. Overall the service was good and food was decent

Google
Delicious food, definitely even better than what I remember. I can’t express enough how good their food is! Definitely a must try! I just wish they have Bahn mi to their menu but there is so much more to try! The rice vermicelli was missing some ingredients but overall the taste was very good.Customer service is the best too!

Lee VN

Google
I highly recommend the soft noodle dishes and the fresh spring rolls. The beef noddle soup wasn’t their specialty. Also, the food takes about 30 minutes to be ready even if it’s just noodles soup, and all they need to do is pouring hot broth over the noodles, just saying.

I love this Pho Thang Restaurant. They have THEE best wings you ever want to try! I I always purchase their Pho as well. I got my youngest daughter hooked, so we would have our Mother/daughter lunch or dinner here.

Google
Pho thang has been around for a longggggg while. Don't go expecting a super nice ambiance or decor, it's a shabby place with good Vietnamese food. I ordered what I always order: the Special Beef Pho $11.50 which has everything in it (beef ball, rare beef, beef flank, tripe and tendon). I love that they don't skip out on any of the ingredients either (so much tripe which I loved) which makes it a pretty fulfilling soup for the price. My boyfriend wanted to try something different and went with the Roast Duck soup $10.95 which comes with egg noodles. We both absolutely loved this soup and I can't believe I had never tried it here before. It comes with a good portion of duck and is topped with a variety of garnishes making it a savory but fresh soup. I think I have now found a new menu item to run to! Service seemed a little slow but that's because they only had one server running around so I didn't fret about it much. Most definitely will be back for more especially when I'm shopping at the Asian market next door!

Google
The staff was extremely friendly. The food was pretty good and cam out quickly and pretty fresh. We will definitley be back.

Google
Great food as always. My niece and I each got a bowl of Pho and my daughter ordered the grilled pork chop with white rice. For appetizers, we had chicken egg rolls and chicken wings.

Google
I have had the duck soup with glass noodle and the fresh spring rolls and the crispy noodles with beef. Of course we also had pho. Plain pho was good but the beef arrives over cooked. If you want pink beef you may have to ask for it. The appetizers we’ve tried are hit-and-miss. The Vietnamese crepe is delicious and big. The spring rolls are ok but their peanut sauce is WAY watered down. I had the shaky beef and the crispy noodles beef. Crispy noodles could have had more gravy and been less watery but it was ok. Shaky beef was good but for some reason not hot. Not sure it was supposed to be hot. It’s pretty good. I like it and we go back often. The service is really good. Tip well. This is a family restaurant.

Yelp
This place was so good! The broth on the pho was bursting with flavor, so delicious! The meat in the pho was also really good. We came in on a very rainy night when it was a little chilly. This pho was the perfect comfort food. We also tried the shrimp spring rolls those were okay. I've been to several Vietnamese places and I've definitely tried way better peanut sauce than the one here so I don't really recommend you get those. This is a five star place because of how good the pho was. We also got the plate in the picture (that looks like a big tortilla) it was good as well but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it. If you're in the mood for some comfort pho I recommend this place 100%. The server was also super nice and welcoming. Great spot overall.

Anthony P.

Yelp
Used to be a great restaurant - Now it is terrible (new owners)! Don't waste your money!

Zoe C.

Yelp
Great tho!!! I got the chicken pho and chicken dumplings. Amazing and fresh. Great hangover cure lol. The service was great but the place can get a bit chilly so bring a jacket.

Frank M.

Yelp
Very enjoyable I liked it tranquility enjoy. Enjoy at the restaurant owner and family greet you food is always great I recommend.

Jen W.

Yelp
Never would've found this spot on my own, since it's a bit further south than I usually venture, and hidden in a strip mall. I was introduced to this spot, by a chef friend who lives in the area. It is absolutely the kind of Phō experience you want to have. Flavorful rich broth's, loads of fresh veggies like spearmint, basil, bean sprouts, cucumber, and carrots. Piled high next to every dish. We started With hot Jasmine tea. My friend ordered every dish I had researched on yelp and wanted to try. Clams and lemon grass, duck pho with egg noodles, Meat special Pho, and the duck pho. All warm and filling. This is not pretentious and great authentic experience. Worth the drive!

Yelp
After a whole day of a drive, we went back to Miami to get some good ole Vietnamese food. Saw this on Yelp with some good reviews and decided to try it out. It's definitely a mom and pop store, some customers, the host could be at least more nicer. The food came out looking good, but the taste is a whole different story. The food was okay and mediocre, could use more seasonings and it was edible. We couldn't even finished our food even though we were so hungry before we came in.

Hoang-Mai D.

Yelp
Very disappointing! I went back last month! The food was undercooked! We sent our order Banh Xeo back and the owner didn't care to cook it a bit more or fix the problem! Bottom line is that the food is less quantity especially less quality, but the price is increased to 2$ more for each dish‍ We found out the reason why:( There was a change of ownership so.... we will definitely have to find another VNamese restaurant in the South

David T.

Yelp
After new owners took over, food just doesn't taste the same, prices have gone up enough for us to notice as week as smaller portions by a lot. Not sure if I will try it again after 8years of being a customer.

Maysee Y.

Yelp
We purposely seemed out this small mom and pop restaurant because we wanted authentic Vietnamese food and that's exactly what this place offers. Walked in, not busy but there were 3 tables filled, were not greeted but we seated ourselves. Once the waiter saw us he brought over the menu. He was Caucasian and wasn't too friendly at all. Didn't talk, didn't say anything. Then a nice asian waitress brought us water and took our orders. Super friendly and helpful. Our food came out fast. We were hungry so we devoured it as the appetizers came out one by one. Food was delicious. I liked that veggies and herbs were served with the dishes. It adds flavor and freshness to whatever is being consume. This must be an Asian thing as I do not see other races do it. We ordered Special pho Eggrolls And steam rolls Service 4/5 Food 4/5 Cleanliness 3/5 Location 3/5

Yelp
Came here for the first time and wasn't in the mode for pho so I went with the grilled chicken option. It was tasty and was a generous portion. The workers were also nice with me.

Vin N.

Yelp
Wife and I went here after a long flight. She was craving some pho. There were only a few tight parking spots available, but we managed to barely fit our SUV. The inside of the restaurant looks a little old with stained tiles/grout and peeling walls. However, the food came out really fast and fresh. We ordered the banh trang with hen (baby clams), pho tai, and the com ga nuong (rice with grilled chicken). The hen was authentic and delicious. The pho tai was above average with a slightly more oily broth. The grilled chicken rice plate was also very flavorful. This place really packs the meats onto each dish which we appreciated. Overall, we would come back if we are ever in the area again.

Aileen B.

Yelp
Little hole in the wall, however, this is the best pho I've ever had. Perfect in every way.

Roberto P.

Yelp
I hate to do this but I am lowering my rating after eating here last week. Pho Thang appears to have a new owner and I fear it's golden days are over. My usual dish Lemongrass Tofu w/vermicelli was $10.50 now it's $15.99. The dish did not taste the same as before, not bad but not what I was used to. All prices have been increased greatly and the portions shrunk. Tofu rolls were $5.25 now $7.00 and are significantly smaller. I am sure they will succeed due to new customers but the old regulars may be offended as I was. The customer service and ambiance have improved but they lost me as a loyal customer. I know inflation has increased prices but this is absurd.

Amanda M.

Yelp
Seafood is very fishy but very welcoming atmosphere. I would go back but make sure your seafood doesn't taste and smell fishy unless you like that kind of stuff

Linda A.

Yelp
As soon as I walked into this joint I knew the food would be good. The location was not very clean, and there was dust everywhere, but the people were clearly authentic since they could barely talk English. Honestly, I don't care I'm taking my chances. The pho was delicious! I had such a bad craving and this satisfied it. I ordered a beef pho - oversized ($2 charge) to share with my daughter. I only spent $12!!!! If I had ordered this in Naples it would've been way more than that. The bean sprouts and the basil did seem a bit old since I had to pick out the ones that were bad. However, when I asked for a to go container..... I was brought one that was visibly used and even had hair in it. At that point I was a bit disgusted but again the food was good lol. Overall, this is a traditional place in a not so good location. If you're down to look past some flaws in exchange for some delicious pho - come here!

Aislinn Q.

Yelp
I'm vegan - best dishes for me are Tofu Lemongrass And Tofu Curry! Delish! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Update: 06/21/2020 Rating: 4.5 After being locked-in for many months, my son wanted some soup and found ourselves back here for some pho for Father's Day. Right away we could tell that things are different inside. Looks like some update is being done on the decor. Even the employees were new. But the most important improvement was the food. It was significantly better this time! The special pho have so much more meat and oh, the golden pancake was perfection! The pieces of the grilled pork were visible and there were shrimp galore. The pancake itself was fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The grilled porkchop with egg and salted pork would've been perfect if it actually had the salted pork which seems to be a reoccuring theme..they are always out of the delicious salted pork so I hope that can be fixed. Ultimately, this is the Pho Thang I know and love and I have to say we will be back for more! Keep up the good work!

Yelp
This is one of the oldest Vietnamese restaurants in South Florida, and we've recently discovered it in our search for more Pho. We always get No. 42 which is the flank beef one because it's tender, full of flavor, and doesn't have any tendons for example. Just beefy delicious pho. The bowl is huge so you better have a big appetite. It's $12. The bean sprouts, basil, and hoisin sauce with spice come in separately. They're nice about any condiments you may need, and feel free to ask for more sauce or basil. The spring rolls are very good. I'm sooooo glad we have this gem close to Kendall. Do yourself a favor and go!

Nana H.

Yelp
My husband is Vietnamise. We from Hawaii. Pho Thang is awesome!!! The Vietnamise Omlet reminds me his mom!! Summer Roll and the sauce was perfectly done. Me and my husband had a beautiful lunch here!Thank you!! We'll definitely come back

Christopher B.

Yelp
A classic Vietnamese joint with friendly staff. After long days of exploring southern Florida and the keys, my partner and I ended up coming here twice! I ordered the house special pho twice, and she got the seafood glass noodle and the lemongrass beef pho. Definitely recommend!

Jerry D.

Yelp
Pho-nomenal!! I was seriously craving pho and am almost done with a nasty cold, so I opened up my Yelp and found this spot close to home. I am by no means a pho-snob, but WOW was this divine! I chose the N-40. I've never had tripe but figured, this cold hasn't killed me so... As soon as the bowl arrived all I could do was take in the aroma...perfection.. Then I put in the bean sprouts, the thai basil, and a squeeze of fresh lime. I swirled it around and dug in. Everything about this bowl was delicious. The tripe was interesting, weird crunch, but not bad at all. The meat was sliced thin and cooked right up in the hot soup. The basil was amazing! The beef broth wasn't over salty either. I want to come back and try the lemongrass soup... I ordered the lemongrass beef to bring home for dinner. I cannot wait.

Shan G.

Yelp
This place has a perfectly concise menu. I ordered the pho Thai and it was super yummy. It's definitely a little hole in the wall spot, but the food is great. The atmosphere is not a great reflection of the food, since it does look a tad outdated. However, when it comes to these little spots, you're not going for the ambiance. If you're craving pho, definitely stop by.

Yelp
Came in today and it's been 1 hour wait no food. New owners and they have their young daughters helping all are clueless. Viet coffee was Terrible not prepared correctly.

Diego P.

Yelp
This place is awesome and I love the food here. The staff is always so kind. Don't sleep on this hidden gem.

Vince R.

Yelp
Wow can't believe this place doesn't have a review. So I'll write a short one, since I haven't had enough of the menus to give a full review. Eaten there 3 times already after discovering it. My wife and both love love love all the fresh spring rolls. Everything it priced right and large portions.

Arianna V.

Yelp
My husband and i loved this place! We will be ordering here more often, i truly wish I would have taken pictures of the amazing food!

Thien H.

Yelp
After visiting the Vietnamese market in the same complex, we headed over to Pho Thang. While all restaurant ph vs homemade ph is sweet to me, Pho Thang's broth was exceptionally sweet. The rice noodles, meat, and spices seemed good, but the sugar-laden broth ruined it for me. I liked the freshness of the basil that was served. I had just bought some Thai basil from the market two doors down and it didn't look as good as Pho Thang's. For the Vietnamese egg rolls or ch giò, they seemed to use rice paper wrappers which are the more traditional wrappers vs the wheat flour wrappers. It was fried well and had a nice crunch. As usual, I would prefer the filling to be made with more pork and crab.

Sheila R.

Yelp
Pho thang is a sure thang for good pho! First time ordering take out from Pho Thang. We had a seamless experience we called and we were told our order would take 20 minutes. Our food was ready and piping hot when we got there. We ordered way too much since we weren't familiar with the portions. Now we know better! We ordered the winter rolls, springs rolls, a beef ball pho, and a shrimp pho which we asked for the addition of rare steak. The food was comparable to other Vietnamese restaurants I've gone to. Ingredients were fresh and packaged nicely and separately for us to mix at home. The beef broth had a deep beef flavor which we were able to add depth to with the Thai basil, limes, hoisin, and siracha sauce provided. We had a great experience and will definitely order from here again!

Patricia M.

Yelp
Best Vietnamese pork rolls I had eaten in years, the fresh rolls were also delicious!

Sarah A.

Yelp
My favorites are their Roast Duck Pho (N-64) and Lemongrass Chicken (V-86). My husband loves their Rare Beef and Beef Ball Pho (N-43). Their Grilled Pork Rolls (A-04) are also superb! Highly recommended!

Katelyn B.

Yelp
This is BY FAR our favorite Vietnamese Restaurant in Miami (and the one we now religiously order from haha) . My family & I have tried so many different items on the menu here, I can honestly say that we have not been disappointed once!! From the Beef Pho, to the Roast Duck, to the Pork Sausage & Shrimp with fried rice, to the Papaya salad, to the Beef Stir fry, you literally have so much variety on the menu and truly every single item is an absolute hit! This is a MUST TRY if you're in the area, and I was told that they're even doing delivery now, so thats a plus!! We LOVE Pho Thang, their amazing food and their out of this world staff!!

Elian Eduardo D.

Yelp
I'm quite happy, actually. I took my parents to have some Pho. My mother says she's never had Vietnamese food, so now she has. Me and my father had the Special Beef, my mother had the Ox Tail. They all were very tasty and very filling. The restaurant is a small strip mall place. Looks very family-friendly, very clean, and at least today, not very crowded. Maybe because of that, or maybe they are like that every day, but the servers were nice, fast, and dedicated. After the Phos, I ordered a winter roll ration to share. My mom had didn't like the fact that they are cold (and I really don't know if they're supposed to be cold, or if they just were served cold, but I liked them), and my dad just plain didn't like them, but I did. They don't serve desserts, which, considering my current weight, is probably a good thing (however, it's still my only complaint about the place). They don't do delivery, but they say that uber eats and... I don't remember the other service they named... do.

Jessica D.

Yelp
Why isn't there an option for 3.5 stars? The pho broth here is very flavorful! Bun bo hue was ok. Nothing to rave about.

Shawna P.

Yelp
I just love this place! I've always gotten the Beef Ball Pho but this time I tried the Vegetable with Tofu Pho. It is amazing!!!

Yamile C.

Yelp
OMG what can I say about this place...the place is dingy and cleanliness questionable at times. However, I've come here a few time and my husband eats here quite frequently. The food is good (I always have the same thing) and the service too (might be cause they already know my husband). I don't look around or over analyze the place and I've never gotten sick from the food I've eaten (that's a good thing right?). If it wasn't for the dinginess of the place and lack of (or questionable) cleanliness, I would have given them 5 stars since their food is great. PS. Overtime I have seen an improvement in their cleanliness...if that helps.

Grecia C.

Yelp
I ended up being a little disappointed with my meal, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because it wasn't until I started eating my main course that I realized I had ordered the wrong dish. I wanted the lemongrass beef and ordered the regular one. I had the pork spring fresh rolls which were great and the beef and egg rolls vermicelli noodles. I will say it was a little lacking on the meat and a whole lot of noodles. The food here is pretty good overall if you are looking for authentic non fancy food. I always see other Vietnamese people come in to eat here so it must be authentic. I've never been to Vietnam so I can't say for sure, but I'll update review when I can verify!

Beatriz L.

Yelp
Everone that loves authentic Vietnamese food knows how hard it can be to find a decent restaurant in the Miami area luckily for me I found that spot. I was feeling a little under the weather and ordered the pho-thang soup no #45 and it very much blessed my soul. My love had ordered the chicken stir fry which tasted so good!!! I was so happy that we got to take home the left overs because their plates are so generous. I also ordered some spring rolls that were exquisite with the duck sauce. The prices are decent and service was quick. This place is a Moms and pops kind of restaurant the surrounding area could use a little help but the focus in this mini shopping center is Phothang. Their is no jush or luxury because the jush is focused on the food. So happy I found this place will come back over and over again.

Kimberly K.

Yelp
This is the only place I trust for pho in Miami thus far. The broth is fantastic and worth the price you pay. I had a pho bowl filled with with incredibly tender flank, tripe, and meatballs! I didn't like how we were given mint leaves that looked like they were rotting in some parts... Although it was soggy in little parts, I would've preferred leaves that looked fresh and clean. I started with fresh spring rolls as an appetizer to share with my friend, which did not disappoint! But unfortunately we waited an excruciating 20 minutes for them... Then had to wait another 15-20 minutes for our entrees... I know very well that the broth is already prepared for pho and it doesn't take long to simply put noodles and beef in a bowl. Oh well, at least the quality of our food was excellent. I also ordered a rice vermicelli entree to share as well, the fried eggroll was the highlight of that!

Nancy N.

Yelp
Super underrated place. I had the Bun Bo Hue, and it's probably the best I've ever tasted (and being Vietnamese, that's pretty big). Broth was rich and full of flavor--not diluted in the slightest like other pho restaurants. The restaurant is tucked away in a small plaza and it may look grim from the outside, but I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. I would absolutely come back.

Melanie G.

Yelp
The food was really good. First time eating Pho and I am not disappointed at all. Very happy to have this wonderful experience. Would definitely love to come back to try their other Pho.

Ericka G.

Yelp
I love Pho,been eating it for years and I just can't seem to get enough. I'm always looking for new places far or close to home,as long as it's delish. Came across this place after reading some reviews and decided it was a must for dinner that evening. I've only tried the chicken and beef pho but when I looked at the menu it was a million different versions of it so I went with the one that contained many different meat and meat parts and seemed to be one of the most popular ordered. Hubby copied me and ordered the same one, biter. I wanted him to try something else so that we could have another pho under our belt but after tasting our pho I couldn't blame him. We had ordered the N40 which contained beef, rare beef, beef ball, tripe and tendon, and beef flank. Oh my it was so good. We always make sure we add a lil extra fish sauce, all the veggies, herbs (culantro, bean spouts, rice noodles, etc) and lime and of course sriarcha sauce. It warmed our bellies and left us so full. We didn't sit in the restaurant which did have enough seating we took it to go but at least you have that option. If you've never had pho or even if you have but want to see more of a variety you have to try this place, the flavor is all here and there's enough variety that anyone can come here and find something great to eat.

Claudio C.

Yelp
Excellent service, excellent food! Ordered chicken and pork egg rolls as appetizer and for entree a N40. Traditional food. Loved it!!!!

Abeja C.

Yelp
Best pho I've ever had. Quick service, good portions, really good food. Definitely recommend the spring rolls and the beef flank pho.

Wen-Ju C.

Yelp
My friend and I recently discovered that there's a Pho restaurant in this area, so we decided to give it a try. Also, it's good to support local businesses. We've been to this restaurant twice. The first time, my friend ordered to-go. When we entered, there were a few customers and only 2 staff members working at the front. We weren't sure where to sit or where to order, but a girl told us we can order at the counter. We went with the seafood pho and the Vietnamese coffee. We were going to order Thai iced tea, but they didn't have it. It took a while for the food to get ready and when we checked it later on after getting to my friend's house, the quail eggs and scallops were not in the containers. Note: Double check your to-go orders prior to leaving, so you can make sure you received what the menus stated. Their menus were a bit misleading. So just FYI, they don't serve beers and Thai iced tea even though they are on the menu. For the second time, we went to the restaurant again because it was close by and did not want to deal with traffic. We got the rare beef pho, fresh spring rolls, seafood omelette pancake, and Vietnamese coffee. The pho was good, beef wasn't bad. The rolls were alright, some of the pork pieces seemed uncooked so we picked those out. The sauce that came with it was pretty good. The seafood omelette pancake was pretty big and came with big lettuce pieces along with sliced cucumbers and carrots with mints on top. The clear sauce paired well with the dish. Lastly, the coffees were good I guess. I don't really drink coffee and I don't know what Vietnamese coffee is supposed to taste like, but my friend liked it both times and said that it's strong. It has condensed milk btw, so if you are allergic to milk, this is probably not for you. While we were still eating, the waiter asked us if he can bring the check because his shift was ending soon. We weren't too sure about paying already because it has happened before that servers have abandoned us after we paid while we were still eating. But we were almost done so it was fine. Overall, the food and the service were alright.

Alexa Maria P.

Yelp
This probably my favorites Vietnamese restaurant in Miami!!! The Bun Bo Hue (which is a noodle soup with meats and noodles is amazing! The spring rolls are so good and fresh!! Been here 2 times already! My husband doesn't like soups but the Bun Bo Hue is an exemption to the rule!!

Cristin R.

Yelp
Came in for lunch today with a coworker new to the Vietnamese scene... She and I both left swearing we would be back. For starters, the ambience is pretty terrible. The restaurant is dark and seems a bit musty, but considering that the area is populated by fast food joints and subways, this did not turn us away. There is one waiter at lunch time who is more efficient than ten waiters at any other restaurant. He is also the nicest man everrrr and provides excellent service. We ordered the golden pancake, even though we are a little bit weary about how it might taste.. It was delicious and comes with a delicious fish sauce (I know it doesn't sound so great, but it is an extremely pleasant surprise). My coworker and I both loved this dish. It comes with a fresh salad, fresh herbs, and completely covers a full dinner plate... We got a little full on that one appetizer, so be advised. The portions are nice and hefty for the dollar. We moved on to chicken lemongrass with rice noodles, fresh veggies and again some fresh herbs. I think they may even grow the herbs in house. This was outstanding. The waiter also mixed it for us with some of the sauce. To finish up, we had Vietnamese coffees. If you haven't had one before, you should. It is essentially espresso and condensed milk... Heaven... Especially after lunch on a work day. I will definitely be back.

Claudia J.

Yelp
Best Pho in town!!!! Super yummi even when in Miami it's at 90° outside! Come in for some Pho, it feels like homemade stuff. I would call it comfort food. Seems that the beef balls have shrunken a bit, but the broth is the best! Piping hot noodles served, just the way I love it!!! Other dishes like salads, rolls and pork chops are delicious. Everything is fresh and food is very consistent. Head to Pho Thang for your vietnamese cravings!! You will not be disappointed!

Dani R.

Yelp
This place is super unsanitary! The server did not know what he was doing... I felt bad and didn't complain... BUT our lemonade we order was hot, they were out of Thai Tea... asked for no mushrooms in my soup and got mushrooms. Flies were flying around the restaurant, gross!

Tricia K.

Yelp
Authentic tasting pho. I ordered a beef pho and my brother-in-law ordered the seafood one. Both were delicious and really satisfied my pho craving. I saw some Vietnamese friends here too. If they go there, you know it's authentic. Excellent!
