"If it’s a heaping bowl of pho you’re after, this understated Vietnamese restaurant makes flavorful noodle soups, in addition to rice dishes and vermicelli noodle bowls. The menu also includes a selection of Thai noodle and curry meals, and there’s a discounted lunch special during the week with select menu items." - Michelle DeVona, Janey Wong

Google
Ordered seafood Pho, asked for beef broth instead of chicken broth. Broth was great, my only complaint was the squid was rubbery. I only got 2 shrimp in my bowl, I feel like they could do a little better than that for an entire large bowl of Pho. Customer service was good, will definitely give them another shot.

Google
Apparently this is an ongoing problem as other reviews have stated sporadic opening hours / operation. Came today for lunch - Fri at a little past 1130a and closed sign and no signs of any employees. I get workers are hard to keep on staff or whatever but owners should at least post something to advise they won’t be open. But positive note - the Oregon City Indian Grill was fantastic. Was great to find a new gem in the city!

Google
Very fast, only one server but she did an excellent job. Got my food very quick ordered the lunch of yellow curry. I will definitely be back.

Google
SO sorry we didn't know about this earlier in our OC life. Pad Kee Mao was lovely at 4/5 star heat with an addictive sweetness and plentiful basil. Really liked the Massaman Curry (did chicken at 3/5 heat which was plenty). Nice portion sizes mean leftover lunch.

Google
Vietnamese and Thai food. You know I can't complain. The food is good, nothing spectacular but it's good. We had Thai food. There aren't a lot of selections, limited Thai choices. I had the Red curry with seafood but there wasn't a lot of seafood in it. The appetizer plate was good, again it wasn't great but good. Next time I will make sure I tell the waitress, mild on the curry. It was hot, it was bearable, but there was an after bite. My mouth was on fire after awhile.

Google
I hate leaving bad reviews- especially local places but it felt important- especially to inform management in case employees are not showing up for their shifts. We put an online order for lunch on Saturday Jan. 11th to pick-up at 11:45 am- the whole family was sick and wanted some hot pho. I arrived at 11:45 to a closed restaurant. The hours on the window were consistent with online, stating that were supposed to be open starting at 11 am. I stayed for a few more minutes in case the person was in the back/someone was running late however no one ever came. I canceled the order and requested a refund. Obvious note: we did not try the food but I want to believe the other reviews that the food is good; I wish we could have tried it.

Google
Great Vietnamese food! Good variety of options on the menu! I love my vermicelli noodles with grilled pork and shrimp! Very clean and great social distancing seating. Amazing service! I will definitely go back for other dishes!

Google
Or go-to date spot. We go here every month or two. Great food and great atmosphere. We've always had outstanding service.

Camille S.

Yelp
Love the teriyaki chicken here. Great lunch spot. Service is usually pretty quick. Wish there were more sides options though.

Mackenzie M.

Yelp
Food was super super yummy and came very quickly!! Waitress is super nice as well, the setting of the restaurant was peaceful too with like medium loudness of music which makes it easy to hear your date lol.

Jaelene B.

Yelp
Everything came out promptly and tasted wonderful. Better than your average Pho/Thai restaurant. Family owned and great menu options. We will definitely be back!

Charlee T.

Yelp
Went here for the first time today. Service was wonderful. They have so many gluten free choices. Our food tasted good - some dishes are a bit sweet but i like it. The restaurant is on a quiet block. Good for family.

Steven M.

Yelp
Ordered appetizer: deep fried shrimp/panko breadcrumbs with sweet chili sauce. Shrimp was sweet and tender,

Samuel L.

Yelp
We love Pho Thi. One of our favorites. Recently, the pho broth is off. Too much 5 spice, less umami. We are hoping the chef is out sick and they thay havent changed the recipe. The wings are awesome, but bring back the old broth!

Litcci H.

Yelp
I honestly love this place it's close to home Very quiet and friendly environment Food is delicious!

Abigail M.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised! I read there other reviews and took a gamble. Their salad rolls and vegetarian egg rolls were perfect! The chicken pad Thai was great but could have used more sprouts but the sauce to noodle ratio wasn't too much or too little.

Robin J.

Yelp
We have gone here for years. Food is always delicious, people are always nice, and it's a cute little spot. And the cocktails are yummy!

Calvin M.

Yelp
The beef in the soup has really good flavor. It's pretty much amazing. Which is unfortunate because it outshines the soup itself. The pho here is decent but wasn't very filling especially since this establishment is on the pricier side for a place with the greasiest menus. It leaves you wanting more which is good sort of. I know I would like to eat more of the food served here but I also like feeling satisfied after eating a bowl of pho. The fried rice that I ordered on the other hand was so crazy good, would recommend it for sure. Definitely will be returning just for the fried rice.

David C.

Yelp
Nice layout and decor. Pho is nicely done, generous portions. Staff are kind. Recommend highly.

Desiree V.

Yelp
Ordered pho and didn't get the sprouts jalapeños mint and lime.... Not a super big deal however when we called to say we didn't get it they said well the kitchen says they put it in the bag......why would I be calling you if you actually put it in the bag... so rude and so unreal.. never ordering from this place again.

Alisa G.

Yelp
This was very good pho, with the correct balance of seasoning in the broth. The noodles came in a large block, but they broke up after swimming in broth for a few minutes. The rest of the menu looks really tasty too. Minus one star for the absolutely surly service. No need. Your job isn't that tough.

Victoria S.

Yelp
Great food & great service! We ordered the beef pho, chicken pho, fried egg rolls & vermicelli noodles with grilled pork. Everything was delicious! Free meter street parking on weekends or after 5p on weekdays.

Dan H.

Yelp
Second time coming here.... This time I ordered Beef Pho with no meat, extra noodles. I ordered the large size and with extra noodles, it was a bit more than I could handle, but it was very good! The broth was not as heavily spiced like other Vietnamese restaurants which I liked very much. The only slight downside was it was $2 more for the similar lunch at La Sen across the river. It was late lunch time, no other customers, so service was on point!

Susan M.

Yelp
Excellent cocktails. We had pho with beef, crab wontons and fried shrimp. All were good. The wontons were too heavy on cream cheese and too light on crab. Our server was very pleasant and helpful

Mikhail R.

Yelp
Can we say Amazing customer service anyone???? Wow! I can't wait to move and be able to visit more often. Super happy I went and had a take out order, delicious. If you like pho, this is the place to go :)

Shelley F.

Yelp
Very very good food and appetizer! And server was funny and helpful with menu. Had their sweet and sour chicken and stir fry (added cashews) and pot stickers. Everything was great!

Darren Y.

Yelp
My kids and I found ourselves on Main Street and starving. After being turned away from Ranee's (no fault on their part - food looked amazing but sadly no minors) we picked Pho Thi. I was a bit skeptical about Asian food in Oregon city but we gave it a try. Our server was friendly and attentive - offering samples of their popping bobas and was fine when we chose not to order one. We ordered the teriyaki chicken, vege dry vermacelli, and the pad kee mao with BEEF (remember this for later). I usually think most places don't serve a good teriyaki chicken - usually dried out or super sweet. This one was great. Moist chicken, good sauce with extra on the side if you want more (eg dipping on your rice) and a side of picked veges. The vermicelli was standard Vietnamese goodness. But the pad kee mao... first it came out with chicken. I told the server I had ordered beef and she quickly said oh no you ordered chicken (eg the - 'there are no droids here' Jedi mind trick.). Unfortunately for her I am no stormtrooper (and I always order my drunken noodles with beef) and I stood my ground. She gave me a frustrated look and stormed off and shortly returned with my order. The dish was ok - flavor was good but only complaint was the lack of vegetables - mainly just beef and noodle. Overall a decent experience - maybe my server had a bad day so I won't knock her for the attitude. Would recommend sticking to the Vietnamese dishes (and the teriyaki)

Drew J.

Yelp
This place is good! They can achieve my level of spicy. Hard to do. Service was great. Thanks pho thi.

Yelp
On Friday at 3:30pm, we are the only two patrons. It's like an episode of Highlander in here but with extremely sweet service, which we did recieve. No beheadings required. I believe I came here once or twice long before my yelp days and was not excited. However, places change and faces change and these reviews have changed. Pho. We just went for the Pho. I live nearby so of course I go further to get my Pho fix because I make everything harder for myself, up to and including this review. I've already found my perfect bowl but trying others' is the spice of life. And you know, it wasn't bad at all. It was a bit lighter than the average Pho broths I've found around PDX and make at home but it was unmistakably beef. You could smell the beef fat (yes, in a very good way). The herb provided was fresh and cardamom was definitely in the air. The beef was tender (we did flank and brisket) and shaved thin. The noodles were cooked well, not crunchy or slimy. Perfect actually. Price point was nice to see in Oregon City, low. $6.00-$13.00. You can afford to have some apps with your main and not blow the bank. I would have loved some cilantro but they did not short change on basil, jalapeno or sprouts. Our one fatal flaw was the salt level. Extremely salty. My recipe calls for fish sauce to act as the salt agent for Pho and other establishments when I've asked have more often than not followed this practice. I did not taste the abundance of fish sauce it would take to produce that much saltiness without leaving traces of a lot of fermented fish (yummy) in the broth. It tasted like salt water beneath the delicious beefy goodness. It was just too salty for my party and myself and I do enjoy (shamefully) a heavy hand of salt in my food. About an hour later and my tounge is still burning of it. Perhaps an off day or the slip of a salting hand? I'd give the Pho 3 stars for it's high points. It wasn't a bad bowl afterall and everyone has a different taste for salt. Try for yourself. Plus, the service was very sweet and professional. Decor was nice. Place was clean and prices are excellent for Oregon City! I would feel nasty inside for not popping on an extra star for those attributes. They may not be quite for me but maybe you. Pho is a private love affair after all. Give em' a shot.

Yelp
Incredibly disappointed. Have yet to be impressed or knocked off my feet when ordering here. The first time I dined in it was "eh" nothing to write home about. Fast forward some time and we ordered takeout from here because it was close so we knew it would still be hot when it arrived and would be quicker than other pho restaurants. Only to get our food and see that no sauces were provided. Aka the base of the soup. I.e. no flavor. I.e what's the point? Sure it was hot but I didn't want it anymore. If I wanted broth and noodles I would have ordered that. Here we are trying to find random sauces in our fridge to put in the broth. This is not a special request for pho. This is a staple. Like the beansprouts you provide. My next issue is the fact that the meet is never cooked enough. The first time we ordered takeout I pulled the meat out and tossed it completely, this second time I tried eating it and could not. It tasted like uncooked steak but the fact that the soup itself had no flavor probably didn't help matters. Third time was not the charm and I'm not returning.

Yelp
Hangry. We turned to YELP for help. We found Pho Thi. Google did not understand how hungry we were and almost got us lost but we found parking and just right around the corner. After a bit of a wait. We had our order going. For appetizers we had... Crab Puffs that came with Sweet Chili Sauce. These are some of the best puffs we've ever had. We also had the Tofu Salad Rolls with Peanut Sauce. O. M. G. Ya. For nothing else. We'll be back for the Tofu Salad Rolls. My Wife tried the Chicken Pho and I had the Tendon with Beef Brisket Pho. After our Pho arrived. We noticed the tables did not have your usual whitey condiments, like sugar or Soy Sauce. Impressed. We dove in sticks first. A few slurps in I thought. Soy Sauce, Smoy Sauce. Forget it! The broth hits your nose first. Then you throw in all the goodies that come with Pho and your done. I had the added bonus of enjoying a Breakside Pilsner. Pho Thi has a full bar. It's a small place but they have lots of seating for the size of the place. I know we'll be back because as we we're leaving, we saw another customers order called a Birds Nest. Looked so yummy.

Yelp
Great bowl of pho on a cold spring day! The rice special was a hit with the kiddos along with the watermelon bubble tea! Very nice service and prices are typical for downtown oc.

Julie A.

Yelp
Love this little gem in Oregon City. The service is generally quite good and the dishes are wonderful. My partner is Vietnamese and he states that their Pho is one of the best he's ever had. I always get the Vegetarian Pho and have never been disappointed. It is fantastic. We eat here at least once a week. We have tried many dishes and have never been let down.

Gene B.

Yelp
Great food reasonably price and friendly. Really like the pad Thai and salad rolls. Soups are delicious too.

Kristi P.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised with the pho at this Thai/Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Oregon City. I got the Special pho, which had a flavorful clear broth and clean tasting meat and tripe. The service is friendly and efficient--a good place to have a nice sit-down lunch if you work nearby.

Linda R.

Yelp
Quick to seat. Friendly service,. Nice menu.. Fast to come with food.Garlic Glazed Chicken Wings

G T.

Yelp
This is the best PHO shop within 20 miles. They have sit down seating still and do a great broth and noodles to go with it. This is my go to place to get Pho when I am in the area.

Chelsea L.

Yelp
If you like half hour waits for (mediocre) soup with little to no customer service you're going to love this place!

Cory J.

Yelp
Out of all Vietnamese cruise in Oregon, this is by far the best pho and Vietnamese dish in Portland. The pho broth was really rich and fresh. I highly recommend this place for those pho lovers.

Glenn S.

Yelp
13.95 for tofu and veggies stir fry small portions and small white rice????? Must be expensive tofu and rice

Brittany B.

Yelp
Pho Thi is my go to pho in Oregon City! There is just something about their soup broth that is a cut above the rest!!!

Mozey S.

Yelp
This place couldn't be better. The menu has a diverse but modest selection of both Vietnamese and Thai dishes, ranging from classic go-to items to more exotic ones. The portions are excellent, the prices are great, the quality is fantastic. The service has been exceptional as well. My only complaint is that they're closed on Sundays -- how that's still standard practice with so many businesses, I fail to understand; then again, I feel that way about nearly all American customs and traditions...such is life.

Dan S.

Yelp
Long wait for food and didn't like the food. Server didn't write down our order, just listened, then brought an inaccurate entree...shrimp instead of the chicken, which was specified.

Jessie P.

Yelp
Yummy Thai food and Pho! We order take out from here every couplr weeks, and I'm pleased with it. We've tried a bunch of other places in the surrounding areas, and this one is the best for a middle price point. Sadly, no beef salad! Apparently they offer it at their other location, but not this one. We'd order it if you made it available....

Bob A.

Yelp
Clean quaint little place. Service was fast and server friendly. I had the round steak Pho. It was delicious, among the best I've had. I will return if back in this area.

Logan E.

Yelp
I order the appetizer platter and it was very good looong and tasted equally as good, especially the pork bits, but I wasn't too impressed with the pho. I will Definentally try again soon and update my review.

Brittany B.

Yelp
Really good Thai food in a tiny little spot on main street. It's easy to miss, but it's a hidden gem. The menu is full of great choices and the food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. It's a treat we're lucky to have a good Thai place in Oregon City.

Aria B.

Yelp
I had an order of beef Pho delivered through Postmates. The flavor of it was fine, but I was given only about 2oz of beef in a large order (I worked in a vietnamese restaurant, usually for a large order youd get around 6oz) not to mention the beef itself appeared a little old and stringy. I was super hungry and decided to eat a bowl of it anyways. Well it's been 24hrs since I've eaten it and I've been having stomach issues all day. It was LITERALLY the only thing I ate yesterday so I know it's the culprit. Sadly, I wont be able to trust this place again. Just be careful ordering meat dishes here.

Nvm L.

Yelp
I have been to Thailand and this restaurant is pretty close to what we experienced there food wise. Absolutely my favorite little spot to enjoy some tom yum soup, pad see ew, and the spicy basil fried rice is to die for. Pretty much everything you order here comes with wonderful flavors and the prices are all good. I decided to order a cocktail last night and it was also delicious. Muddled mango, basil and tequila.. yummo Definitely recommending this spot to my friends and family.

Curtis D.

Yelp
Great service. Pho is fantastic and it kicks my colds tooshy Love the way they remodeled. The egg rolls are my absolute fav

Tia J.

Yelp
We heard from family members that this is one of the better Pho places around town so we stopped in to check it out. They were right! Soooo good! We've had 4 different types and all of them were great! The chicken pho is my favorite. Everything is served fairly quickly and is piping hot. I love HOT soup. We plan on coming back to try some other dishes on the menu soon too. The people are very nice but a little laid back on attentiveness. Overall, if you want good pho, at a decent price, with a little down town OC charm, you won't be disappointed here.

Lisa T.

Yelp
The drinks and happy hour selections was great!! Highly recommend beef stew and calamaris!! Warning, there will be a burning sensation from the wasabi. Proceed with caution.

Daunte G.

Yelp
We were here about a year ago and it was Fantastic.....today not so much Food was ok Service was a tad bit off

Kathryn S.

Yelp
Super fresh, tasty food. Been going to this place for several years now since they opened and the quality remains strong with a fair price

James A.

Yelp
This is the most authentic and delicious food. My wife loves the vermicelli bowls. I usually enjoy the pad thai. The egg rolls and spring rolls are delicious. The dumplings and plum sauce are a perfect appetizer to any dish. We've eaten here over a dozen times and never been disappointed. Staff is always pleasant and quick. Food is consistent and always delicious. You can taste the finesse and care they put into preparing their food with fresh ingredients. Solid choice any night of the week.

Paul H.

Yelp
This is my go-to Pho joint, because of proximity, and it's good. Their menu is broader than traditional Vietnamese offerings, probably due to local tastes in asian cuisine, but I am impressed that they try hard to please all. Service is fast, restaurant clean, and the servers always seem polite. I only get their Pho Dac Biet anymore, so my advice is limited. While not my favorite place for this dish, I'm glad they offer a darn good version so close to my home.

MJ J.

Yelp
This place is delicious! The Tom Kha soup is the best I've had- super flavourful and rich broth. The egg rolls are spot on, too. And really friendly wait staff. I'll definitely be back!

Tawny O.

Yelp
My husband and I love this place. We've only tried the pho and the stir fry and they are so good I haven't tried anything else lol. I crave this place!
