Excellent Chicken Pho and vermicelli dip bowls. I have eaten here several times and all have been good. Services fast and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

I’ve been coming here for so many years. The staff is very friendly. The food is extremely consistent and amazingly flavorful.

Ordered P1 and P4, average $15/pho bowl. Good portion. Beef tendon is great. But overalls just very average pho. We can find way better pho.

First time going there so wasn’t sure what to expect. When we went in it was some what packed but there was seats available. We were seated and the food came out a couple moments later. Everything was going fine until the waitress came with our check. We were not even done eating, we didn’t ask for the check, they didn’t even bother to check up on use when we were eating our food, no refills on our water. The service was what threw me off. I noticed that everyone else had their waters asked if they wanted it refilled and if they wanted boxes. I found it ridiculous how not once after we got our food did a waiter or waitress came to check if we needed anything else. By that time there was only about 4-5 tables left of people and they had about 4 servers but they were all behind the register just laughing and giggling. I waited a bit for a box since they wanted us to check out so bad but no one came by even when I looked at them while they stood next to the register. I had to go up and ask for a box and paid for our food. Over all the food was fine but the service was terrible.

My son, in MKE, was ill and desired pho to feel better. I live in Madison so I did a little sleuthing and was directed here. They did not disappoint. My son loved. I ordered the bahn mi and fully enjoyed. My son said the pho was fabulous.

We were seated immediately and cared for by friendly staff. The menu offers many, many choices. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered. I was cautious of the homemade fish sauce but it complemented the meal. If you like Southeastern Asian food, give Pho Viet a try.

My favorite local, go-to pho restaurant. Food is always great and comes out really fast. Service is good, atmosphere is low-key, and they can accommodate groups of 2-15 with no concerns. It's been a great restaurant that my family and I have been going to for these past 10-12 years. I'm happy that they updated the tables and seating this past year. I'm glad the restaurant is bringing enough business in that they can afford to remodel in little ways. Happy that I'm not the only one who appreciates this little restaurant.

ZERO FLAVOR. For it being a pho restaurant and the broth that is supposed to bring the soup together it lacks so much flavor it’s disappointing.Tasteless pho overpriced and no flavor no matter how much you dress it up. Much better pho near by. Prices should be about $5 or less for the quality of soup. I’ve had much better pho made at home and customer service. An instant ramen would be way more flavorful than the pho served here. This isn’t fair to the customers. Flavor has gotten worse over the past two years. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if it were $5. You can tell it was watered down. Boba is extremely overpriced. Soggy noodles and flavorless meat. They are stingy with the portions meat and the veggies.

My friends and I have always enjoyed coming here. The food is delicious definitely better than most places nearby and the service is usually quick and efficient. On our most recent visit, we ordered an appetizer and a Banh Mi sandwich, and both were great. However, I've noticed a few changes lately. The prices have gone up quite a bit, and after our food was served, the staff didn't check back to see if we needed anything or to refill our water. Also, if you order for pickup, they now add a service charge to your bill which feels unnecessary.

Pho Viet is my all-time favorite place in Milwaukee for pho. Without fail, the broth is scolding hot and the toppings are extremely fresh. You can tell this recipe has been perfected because the taste is unmatched. The place looks like it recently was remodeled and the decor is clean/fresh inside. The service is always quick & precise. If you're looking for the best pho place, please look no further.

I've been on a Vietnamese food kick because rice noodles are gluten free!! This place was voted on Reddit as one of the best pho spots in Milwaukee! I sat down and got to ordering super quickly. The food comes out at lightning speed!! This is not going to be your fancy sit down restaurant, rather, it's traditional Vietnamese food that's absolutely delicious in a minimalistic setting. I got the pho dac biet, which is their house signature pho with sliced steak, brisket, tendon, and meatballs. Lots of sauces on the side like sriracha and garlic chili sauce to spice up your soup!! This was DELICIOUS - a very hearty feeling, a rich broth, and very fresh ingredients. I also tried the coconut pineapple smoothie with boba pearls, which was a bit runny, but really good - kinda like a piña colada but nonalcoholic. The boba also gives it a nice chew so it's not just straight juice.

I do love the food at this establishment and is spot on every time. My order was forgotten once and came late, but it was too good to complain. The only negative is the open seating due to loudness, no privacy. Definitely a must to try for lunch or dinner.

There is never any wait time to be seated and the service is fast. It's a good value for what you get. I enjoy the boba.

One of my all time favorites for pho! Located in a strip mall, there is ample parking no matter what time of day you dine. The restaurant has many booths & tables with open seating. Service is prompt & kind. Thrilled that they are now on DoorDash for those winter cravings. The pho (P3) & egg rolls were freshly made. Can't wait to go back!

I've dined here 4 or 5 times over the years. Initially I didn't think the broth in the pho had enough flavor, but over time, the broth grew on me. The beef, meatballs, and noodles were always plentiful and cooked properly. My go-to pho is P1, with sliced beef, meatballs, and tendon. I also tried their A12 Banh Mi once, and it was good, but not one of the best I've had in town, same as the pho. The food is good and service is fast. It will get the job done in a pinch when you get the craving.

Staff and service are friendly and speedy. It's pretty nice and clean inside with super cute decor. The pho is pretty decent and you get a solid portion and plenty of meat in the bowl!!

I expected Pho Viet to be order at the counter. But walking in, someone said hi, asked how, and lead me to a table. Moments later I got menus and a water. They asked us what we wanted twice. The first time we weren't ready, the second either but ordered a boba. We were ready after but after 15 min we realized they weren't going to tables, so we ordered at the counter. The Taro Milk tea was amazing. My friend tried tapioca pearls for the first time and was surprised how they they were gummy and less bursting than the jellies. The shrimp spring rolls (GÓI CUÓN) were good, standard but big 3. The PHO GÀ - Fresh rice noodles with chicken and com TAY CÀM (CLAY POT) with tofu were both very good and large portions. The table does have many extra sauces. At the end still no one was going around. The whole room was full and they had many to go orders. We waited a while but ended up going to the counter. And then waited a while to get the bill and then to pay. The place itself reminded me a bit of a supper club. I have to recommend to go or don't go on a Friday night around dinner time. Probably a 4+/5 if I went in a less busy time.

This has been one of the most solid pho places in Milwaukee... But a few things is bugging me since my last visit. 1. Pho prices went up from $9.50 to $14.50 since covid19. 2. They're skimping out on meat on the pho. 3. Broth is not as meaty, but sweeter and soy-saucy (everything else is forgivable...) They have, in the past, been less consistent. So I'm hoping they'll spring back. ********* previous review, 8/16/2018 Since my first experience here, I've been back quite a bit, especially since my favorite pho place closed down. Since the first bad experience,though, the food has been a solid 4 every time. I like that i can always count in this place being above average, if not quite the 5-star quality I've had elsewhere. Pho is never sweet, but flavorful, with just the right amount of meat and tripe. Rice and bbq dishes are always pretty good (so says hubby-i never get them myself. Spring roll is again a solid good, but not best. Two shrimps instead of the three I'm used to seeing. Banh mi- meh. Salty rather than flavorful. Xankia has it better. Iced coffee with condensed milk- very strong. And very sweet. I always need to add some water to mine. Oh and the servers here are always nice and efficient. They ow how ti take care of you even when the place is packed full. Not always the nicest of servers, but very efficient.

It's clean...quick and good quality food. I got the pho because trust me it was negative degrees outside. The delicious pho broth hit my stomach and immediately warmed me up. I got the meatball and brisket and I really enjoyed it. It was such a large portion I had to to-go some of mine which isn't the best for reheating but it was still delicious later. The broth didn't much to add to it beyond some spice which is always up to the individual. I really liked it and I will be back to try something else but it will be hard to resist pho during the winter months.

My family and I frequent this restaurant frequently and the food is always great. Service can be slow sometimes but generally very good. I would recommend for sure!

Good tasting Pho! Wish they could have a little bit more meat for $14.50. Otherwise, it's excellent.

Such good pho! My dad had it for the first time and he loved it. I have had pho before and this is great! Service and ambiance are fine, nothing special but the pho is worth not fancy service.

The Pho was delicious!!! Plenty of chicken. However I did not favor the chicken fried rice it was very dry. The spring rolls were good.. but a little large for an appetizer. I also did not like the $2.00 take out fee. Since I sat there and ate and wanted to take an order home for my mother.

We ordered a beef noodle dish and Banh xeo, a Vietnamese crepe. The beef noodle dish for my bf arrived in a reasonable amount of time but not the crepe. We waited maybe 4-5 minutes when we heard the ding of a bell, figured my food was up. Sadly that was not the case. The waitress came to inform me they were out of Banh xeo and would I like to order something else. I got a Banh mi because I didn't feel like waiting for them to cook a dish while my bfs food got cold. Seriously, how do you wait until you served half the order to inform the guest you're out of something?

Thís restaurant some of the food list should be take off the menu?..yesterday i order shaken beef for $20 dont mind to pay the price! But the use the lowest quantity meat my shaken beef looklike between peper steak or a stir fry! Please dont order that you be very disappointed!!

Fantastic egg rolls and terrific Bahn mi. Great choices for a variety of authentic Vietnamese foods. From the appetizers to the soups you'll find so much to choose from. We will return for the Pho which we saw on many tables and smelled as it was carried past ours. The servers are friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant is spotless.

This was one of my favorite pho spots, but after my last experience I don't think I'll be back. I ordered p1 and right away noticed the broth tasted off, bland and sweet, like it was lacking flavor. As I continued eating it I noticed multiple pieces of short dark hair in my noodles.

Was in south Milwaukee by the airport for some business. Found this place on Yelp. Nothing special. The pho broth is bland and inconsequential. Got the steak and meatball pho. The broth is just as likely to be used for the chicken pho (sarcasm) as it is bland. The grilled pork ban mi was again just tolerable. The meat was not flavored like a BBW grill but more like a pork chop on a grill. The bread/bun whatever it is is very chewable. Better for a brat. The shrimp and pork spring roll was good. Should have stopped at this.

The pho was good, not outstanding. It is a little on the sweeter side so if you like your broth a little sweeter, you'll probably like this place. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean for the most part.

Came for dinner. Server was attentive and food came quickly. Like the egg rolls, crispy & good flavor. Pho soup was good and temperature hot, beef steak/brisket/tendon was tasty and overall a good pho meal - not the best but satisfy my urge for good pho in Wisconsin

Large restaurant with lots of seating. I've been on the mission to find a Vietnamese restaurant in the Milwaukee-ish area with good pho and BBH. I asked two waitresses if they have the coagulated blood in their BBH and both of them seem to not know what I was talking about/asking for, so I took the risk and ordered it anyway along with their pho dac biet. Both dishes had a good amount of meat. The BBH did have one piece of coagulated blood and some fish sausages (besides their normal meat) that was very very salty. The broth for BBH was not giving me enough flavor for me to register it as bun bo hue, and was really sweet compared to what I am used to. Pho tasted standard to me but fell on the sweeter end of the spectrum. This place didn't hit it for me, but I am sure they had other great food options!

Fast service, great pho. I come here quite a bit! Smoothies are amazing as well. I'm Asian and it can sometimes be hard to find a truly good pho place, I believe this is the best in the city. And I've tried a lot of places (xankia, bao bao, pho cali, pho ever, ee sane) and this one is best!

The best of anything they serve. Nice portions, tantalizing tastes and great service. The only thing you'll lose is your hunger pangs.

Hands down one of the BEST Pho's I have ever had (and I have had Pho in a lot of places!) the flavor of the broth, the texture of the noodles, the amount of meat (I had the beef one) and the toppings were outstanding. The Bubble tea (Milk tea with Boba) was out of this world. The only "downside" is that neither of these had different options for size, that said, we were super hungry so it ended up being fine. The spring rolls with Peanut sauce were also super good. Highly recommend.

I've been to numerous restaurants for pho & of them all, this is my most favorite go-to. I hope they never change the recipe for their broth... so, so tasty!

My order included: A6 chicken wings - only had enough room in my stomach to eat one wing... it could use more seasoning so I had to eat it with the sweet chili sauce that it comes with. Rate 5/10 P1 large house special pho - broth alone is flavorful, but more on the sweet side. Loved the amount of meat given. Rate 7/10 B42 chicken pad Thai - noodles were cooked perfectly, the chicken is bland but with the sauce everything compliments well, I would prefer a kick and added a lot of chili to mine. Rate 6/10 D1 Vietnamese iced coffee - freshly made, strong coffee that is not too sweet. I'm glad there's not too much sweet condensed milk and ice in this. If you like strong coffee, this is the one. Rate 8/10 We received our food fast and all together. Bathroom is clean. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance here is good.

Good, decent broth. Large bowls but meat to noodle ratio was poor. Broth not overly sweet or salty. Appetizers were good as well. We got the clay pot fish and calamari and salt and pepper shrimp. Typical service for vietnamese restaurant. Moderately clean venue. Friendly staff and very accommodating. Wouldn't mind coming back again in the future to try out other food options. Happy eating!

I was in the mood for a Banh mi sandwich for lunch today so stopped by here to check one out. The restaurant is in the corner of the Pacific Produce building but it's not connected and is it's own space, not to be confused with the restaurants in Pacific Produce. At 1pm on Sunday the dining room was 85% full and people still walking in. A funny thing happened but I'm not going to let it affect my review or stars and is for information only. The woman who was clearly management/owner who took my Banh mi order quickly said she was out while the young server next to her qickly corrected her which put her in an awkward spot so she quickly played it off and said let me check with the kitchen, when she came back she says you get the last one. I personally think she didn't want to make me one. The place itself is ok looking and nothing fancy and no means dumpy or dated with cheap cafeteria tables and chairs. The menu has tons of great food but the A11 grilled pork Banh Mi has my name on it, I'm not explaining the sandwich again so look it up if you don't know what it is. WOW this was a well executed/example of a Banh Mi sandwich which looked over stuffed at first sight and good looking, thank you for not skimping on everything like some places do. They used the correct perfect French bread, fresh with that crunchy crust, some place take liberties with the bread and use anything. The grilled pork had a nice sweet grilled flavor that was tender and moist, nice. The fresh toppings were plentiful which was nice, see my pictures. The textures were great with crunchy vs the tender pork. I love how all the flavors play so well with each other, the sweet pork with hot from the jalapeños and the cilantro and toppings kicking in with that great trench bread. This place really has a great Banh Mi sandwich which hit the spot and I want to thank them for being generous because my last one from a different place was skimpy, two thumbs up.

This is our all time favorite Vietnamese place in the area. The food is great every time!!! Plus there are great boba drinks too.

The pho here is trash but bunbohue was decent along with their sandwich. Service is kinda slow the server would seat you and give you the menu but forgets to come and check if you're ready to order while just standing but the bar area. Doesn't live up to their reputation anymore.

Conveniently located near the Milwaukee airport, so a must stop when returning from any trip. Goi Du Du Bo Kho, Tom (aka papaya salad) with beef jerky and shrimp accompanied by a sweet chili sauce is simply outstanding. This is also the only place in town you should go for Pho Thai. Can't wait for my next flight!

Basic menu and classic old-school diner-like layout. Prompt service- nothing fancy at all! A quick pho was enjoyed with bountiful sprouts (which i love). I liked all the different types of pho that were offered. The mango bubble tea for dessert hit the spot! Totally would stop by again!

Really love the Pho. Service can be a bit curt especially for pick ups, but not offensive. It's my go to place when I have a hankering for delicious beef broth based soup.

Pho viet is a local shop that my mom and I have been been going to. I have to say that on first impression it might not be a place I would go to. Since I have been coming to this shop I really do like it. The ambiance is pretty peaceful. The service is pretty good. The food quality is good every time I go. I usually get the P1 which I highly like! I suggest this shop to anyone that hasn't been to it!

The restaurant had quite a few people inside and thought that was a good sign for a monday night. We started with egg rolls. They appeared to be cooked to golden perfection however they were barely warm on the inside. Still a tasty starter. The fresh squeezed limeade was to die for! We ordered the grilled pork chop and grilled beef plates. The pork chop was cooked nicely. I would have loved a little more seasoning or flavor to it but the grill on this was perfect. The beef plate was dry. The fish sauce saved the day. Our server was attentive and made sure water glasses were refilled. Looking forward to our next visit to try other menu items

I would say this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Milwaukee. Super authentic. I like their bun bo hue very much. The broth was flavorful. Bonus that they included pork blood as well. Their rice bowl with grilled pork chops was also delicious and well seasoned. Definitely will come back

Pho Viet is one of the more popular pho places in Milwaukee (at least from what I've been told), and I remember when I first moved out here, I happened to be in the area and saw this place. However, not knowing at that point in time whether trying Asian food in Milwaukee would kill my soul, I decided to forgo it...and never circled back until one of my Vietnamese friends recommended it. Located in Greenfield next to the fallen glory of Pacific Produce, Pho Viet is a mid-size restaurant with motivational posters decorating the walls and ample seating for families and groups. There is plenty of parking in the lot. I came here with a group of friends and we were easily able to be seated; the waiters were very patient as we waited for everyone to arrive. I had the pho tai, gau, gan, sach (pho with steak, brisket, tendon, and tripe) [$11.75]. The portion of meat and noodles was super generous, I kept digging my chopsticks in and finding more steak! However, the taste wasn't quite what I am personally used to. I do like my pho a little sweet, but this one was definitely a lot more sweet than pho I have had at other places. I think I would chalk this up to personal preference since I know there is variance in preparation. Maybe next time I would try a different entree since it looks like they have a pretty wide variety of dishes on their menu (goat hot pot, yum!). I also had a che ba mau [$4.99]. As far as I can tell, this is the only Vietnamese restaurant in town that has che on the menu...well, overall, I think there are only two places to get che, here and Bambu. I really didn't enjoy this restaurant's rendition of che ba mau, but again, maybe personal preference and what I'm used to. Most che ba mau I've had is sweet and creamy with coconut sauce, soft beans, and chewy pandan jelly layered with shaved ice. The one at Pho Viet was more like crushed peanuts, larger chunks of ice, more watery coconut, and the pandan jelly wasn't really chewy or soft...again, maybe this just isn't a style I'm used to. The servers were definitely struggling a bit the night we were there; even though the restaurant was not half full, they did seem to have quite a few takeout orders to manage as well that led to difficulty in managing the tables. The food came out quickly, but otherwise service was not very attentive and we had a hard time getting their attention to ask for more water or the bill. I understand that service has taken a hit due to the pandemic, however, so I hope they can get some more help so they wouldn't be so overwhelmed. Overall, I think I will stick with the places that are closer to me for pho since I wasn't big on the flavor profile here, but it seems to be quite popular with many Vietnamese patrons, so I would definitely suggest it to those who like a sweeter pho! Maybe I will come back in the future to try some of their other dishes.

REVIEW FROM AN ACTUAL VIET PERSON: I loved the menu here, there was so much more to choose from than the basic pho/rice dishes you see at other Vietnamese places, so I really appreciated that! I chose this place because there were more options to choose from since I was taking my boyfriend to eat Viet food for the first time and thought the menu was a good reflection of what we eat! Food was good! I ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls, bun bo hue, and com suong nuong dac biet. Egg rolls were good but they were a little too carrot-y and not enough pork flavor. 3.5/5 Bun bo hue was great!! Super flavorful and it came with all the right stuff inside (cha which is Viet cold cuts, super tender beef, and even had huyet which is pork blood cake! Which I LOVE btw don't knock it till you try it). This was my boyfriend's fav thing of the meal! Also my fav noodle (yes more than pho) 5/5 Com suong nuong dac biet was good, but the egg was over cooked (gotta have a runny yolk!) And the pork chop was dry. But I really liked the nem nuong (Vietnamese pork sausage) it came with! (3/5) Service was eh but to be honest you can never expect it to be amazing at family restaurants like these. Just had to be assertive and call the waiters over if you need anything like the bill, but they refilled water just fine. I feel like that's more of a culture difference so I never knock homey small Asian businesses for service.

I had a craving for comfort good and being half Chinese that means a big bowl of noodle soup. Since I have yet to find a place with really good Chinese beef noodle soup, pho is my go to. We got here shortly after they opened and ordered coconut bubble teas, fresh spring rolls, and we each got a ginormous bowl of pho. The bubble teas were cool and refreshing although the tapioca bubbles seemed slightly over cooked as some were in big globs that could not make it up the straw. No worries, it was still good and I took the top off and used a spoon. The fresh spring rolls were amazing! Very fresh and light. The peanut dipping sauce really set it off! I ordered some to take home they were so delicious. My pho was everything I expected/needed it to be. Richly spiced and fragrant. I like lots of lime in mine and basil which our server brought us. I also added a fair amount of the sriracha and chili sauce until o achieve the level of spiciness I like. We spoke little as we merrily slurped our noodles and enjoyed the soup. It totally hit the spot! The portion of pho they give you is huge! I couldn't even finish half the bowl. Don't worry, they have take out containers so I'll be enjoying the leftovers later with my spring rolls! This is not a fancy place, but the service was prompt and it was very clean inside. Even the bathroom was clean. The food is reasonably priced too. I cannot wait to go back!

Please enjoy this great pho place with some great spring rolls. Also, look for the P4 Pho with extra garnish for tasting along with an extra large size. The great broth first and then you add what suits you best; from chilis and fresh spices to bean sprouts and Thai basil! Bon appetit!

Stopped in here for a quick lunch on Sunday after getting some basics from Pacific Produce next door. If you like Vietnamese food, then worth the stop. Swift service, and tasty, hot, well prepared food. Great egg & spring rolls. And the pho was tasty and very filling. Good value for money, but don't expect all the frills. This is good Vietnamese food and for a quick lunch or dinner very good. Would plan to stop off again when next in the area.

My husband and I love this place. It's right around the corner from a laundromat with the most reasonable prices. We love pho. My only complaint about the food is that their crab Rangoon is more sweet than savory.

Best banh mi I've had. I liked the pho a lot (I'm more of a ramen person. My husband loved it). Service was ok. Egg rolls were hot and yummy!

Overpriced. $11.50 for generic fried rice with vegetables. The vegetables were those poor little square carrot bits and peas poured out of a frozen bag. And they included chicken in a vegetable menu item. Asked twice: only vegetables? I had pointed to my menu item (veg only) while ordering and got the dried up overcooked chicken bits. My guess is that their pho broth comes from a can.

What an interesting Pho restaurant! Here it goes... We received our Pho before our water. We asked 2 separate waiters 4-5 different times for our water. This was also after eating our fresh spring rolls. Overall, the Pho was great but they need a lot of work on customer service. I know you can do better than this Pho Viet. Please give me a better experience next time. The food is good but it can be a better experience.
