12 Slurpable Pho in San Francisco and the East Bay

"Arguably Oakland’s most reliably delicious pho spot, this friendly, family-run restaurant serves one of the richest, most flavorful bowls in the area — all the more so if you doctor up the broth with some nuoc beo, or rendered beef fat with scallions, available by request on the side. (If you know, you know.)" - Paolo Bicchieri, Luke Tsai

The Best Vietnamese Restaurants in Oakland - Eater SF

"People have fierce opinions about who serves the best pho in town, and for many, that opinion favors Phở Vy Vietnamese Cuisine. The rare steak floating on top of the pho is, indeed, rare. Another great option is the hearty beef stew with soft French bread for dipping." - Janelle Bitker

Google
Truly delicious Vietnamese food near International run by a lovely family. The fresh spring rolls (A1) were good; however the grilled pork spring rolls (A9) were truly amazing - so much flavor! The Hanoi Styled Grilled Pork Vermicelli Bowl had different kinds of grilled pork, drenched in a delectable sauce that mixed so well with the noodles and herbs. 10/10 coming back again to try all the different spring rolls and entrees!

Been coming here since I was 14 for swimming competitively in Oakland High, the portions are the same food has always been a nice quality, Even during covid times, I LOVE the smoothies, this place is truly a gem to the community, just wished their drinks were cheaper! Over all a 10/10

Google
My first time there but with Inlaw’s that have been many times. Very good Pho. Of course, we all got #1 pho combo and fresh spring rolls and jook. All very good. Definite recommend. We’ll be back for sure. Note: they used their front limited parking lot for tented outdoor dining. But there is some street parking. Takes credit cards.

Google
No frills restaurant with a nice variety of dishes. I really liked my grilled pork chop with shredded pork and fried egg. The pork chop was nicely charred. Reasonable prices and friendly service as well.

Google
Friendly and casual spot to get some quick and homey Viet food. Pho and vermicelli noodles were exactly what we had expected but was unspectacular given the price. Vietnamese iced coffee had a bit too much ice unfortunately.

Why did I wait until they were shutting down to find out about this place?? It's so good. We got the pho dac biet, beef stew with rice noodles, and the quesobirria tacos with consumme. Everything was so damn good. The beef stew is incredibleeee. I don't even know why I'm writing this review, if you don't know about this spot by now you're probably not gonna find out in time before they close. But if you're one of those dummies like me who has been holding out, this is your sign: go. Get pho vy now while you still can!

Google
Went here for the first time since I read that they were closing for good on May 18. Can’t say that I missed out? I’m Viet and from San Jose’s little Saigon area, and this place is not it. I got the Pho #6, flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe. There was no tripe and I think they replaced it with rare steak? Maybe they thought I wouldn’t notice?? It was odd. The meat/ “brisket” was old and overcooked. The broth was not fragrant or desirable. Even after I added the scallon oil (nuoc belle). They are known for having Birria Tacos on their menu and the waitress was trying to get me to try it which is usually a red flag for me. Didn’t try it. And now will never try it.

Google
Got the beef stew with rice noodles large size. Easily enough for two and a half meals. So much food and so tasty! And the owners are really nice and dog lovers. Support them!

Yelp
This is such a big restaurant! Love how spacious it is and plenty of different table sizes for different sized groups. I always appreciate a Vietnamese restaurant that has a lot of vegetarian options. This one had a whole vegetarian page of their menu, almost cried happy tears. There are a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the area that have no veggie options so this is one of my happy places. The noodles were fullll of veggies which is what I crave for in a big bowl of veggie pho. The egg rolls were also crispy and delicious! Looking forward to coming again and trying something else...or just end up getting a veggie pho again. Who knows.

Yelp
Awesome moms and pops, family owned and ran Vietnamese restaurant. Staying in Emeryville for our mini vacation we wanted some noodles for dinner. Found Pho Vy not too far away. Bun Bo Hue (Lemongrass hot n sour soup) hit the spot. The Nam Neung Rolls were decent too. Being a moms and pops, the whole family were running the shop. Awesome service. The son was attentive while the sister had the Hawaiian music on the speakers (random but fun). Find some street parking but don't leave your bags in your car in this hood. Out of sight, out of mind, be careful around there.

Yelp
One of many pho spots along international blvd in Oakland. There was plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. They also have a little kid play area which was unique. Felt like a family restaurant with loyal customers just based off the interactions I witnessed. There is plenty of parking in the area but be sure to bring in with you any valuable items from your car. Goi cuon (summer rolls): 3/5 - the filling was great but the peanut sauce lacked flavor and was a bit watery. Cha gio (spring rolls): 4/5 - loved the filling and crispiness plus the fresh veggie accompaniment. Bo kho: 5/5 - great portion, the meat was well cooked and tender, and they had bouncy egg noodles which seems to be rare in most restaurants--this is also their special so highly recommend.

Yelp
Food was good but they straight up forgot to give me any utensils n the extra Jalapenos I requested. Prices is good compared to other spots I been to. The portions are right size for me. Just make sure to double check your order before you leave.

Yelp
first time here!, My parents recommended this to me. They had tacos, which were really good and hit the spot. You would not expect that from a pho place lol Service was really good and ambience was like walking into regular Vietnamese pho place! Totally hit the spot on a cold rainy day

Yelp
Solid 7/10 pho. Came here on a Sunday and it wasn't to busy. There were only 3-4 other tables. My friends and I were a party of 6. We walked in and we're immediately seated with menus and brought us water. We ordered and waited for about a good 10-15 minutes for our food to come out. I got the pho combo in a medium size. Portion was pretty decent. I asked for my rare steak to be on the side but they charged me for extra on the side instead. Probably misheard me. The broth was decent, like your average pho place. Not to crazy with the flavor, but a bit of fish sauce helps. Overall I ate everything and left full! Everybody else seemed to enjoy their food. They low key pressured us to buy their "fresh baked" cupcakes but I wasn't upset about it, I would've probably bought it anyways even if they didn't push it on to us. Cupcake has nice flavor, I got the Ube cupcake not to crazy but I wouldn't have called it fresh when they were baked and put into the container sitting there the whole day. Nice family place to try!

Yelp
Came here on a beautiful Monday afternoon and was not disappointed! My partner and I both ordered the small rare steak pho. He ordered wings and I ordered the Tofu spring rolls as an appetizer. The wings were perfectly crisp and the spring rolls (served with equally yummy peanut sauce) were refreshing on an unusually warm day. The steak slices were sooooooo good!! Tasted really fresh, not chewy at all. The pho broth was perfectly balanced. They also make cupcakes in house. Bought the ube, pandan, Oreo, and red velvet. Not too sweet, just perfect! Highly recommend. Nom nom!

Yelp
A big bowl of comfort that doesn't break the bank. This is an OG family joint that serves up delicious home style grub. Beef pho-- 4.5/5 Tasty broth, decent amount of meat, humongous bowl! Next time gonna order extra tendon and maybe meatballs too. Crispy rolls-- 5/5 My fave thing here! Perfectly fried and the wrapper is thin and crunchy! YUUUUM. Birria Tacos -- 4.5/5 Pay $3 for the consommé. A Vietnamese take on birria tacos. Very tasty, just a tad oily for me. Avocado Smoothie -- 5/5 100% fresh avocado, and I asked for less sweet cus that's how I like it.

Yelp
I love this place. They know my order and the service is super friendly every time. Outside on the patio they are dog friendly. Inside there are toys and vending machines for the kids. They often have cartoons on the tv or sports later in the evening. My kiddo loves coming here. They will bring her extra pickled veggies because they know she loves them. The Food is consistently delicious. I highly recommend you try this spot. My only complaint is when the whole family takes a trip and they close for a month! I was so happy when they returned!
google avatar

Jim G.

Yelp
This is some of the best pho Ga or chicken pho you'll get in Oakland. The beef combo pho is also really good. We tried the Pho Birria tacos and they are delicious. Definitely worth trying at least once. The service is attentive and friendly. If you're craving pho, don't hesitate to come here.

Yelp
The bun bo hue was underwhelming. We ordered a large and it looked small. We ordered bho ko but got beef stew pho which was disappointing. At least the beef was tender and flavorful and we found the rest of our noodles here. The star of the show was the fried pho tacos which was a game changer. This was my first time trying something like this and it was quite tasty. Highly recommend! They also sell these beautiful cupcakes that they make in house displayed at the counter under $4 a piece.

Yelp
I accompanied my colleague to this establishment that reminded the show Cheers where everybody knows your name as they knew my co-worker by name as well as what they wanted to order; was suggestive with condiments and substitutions. It was a great experience to be at this family restaurant. The mother was pointed out and the son was taking the order; the wife was back in the kitchen it was great with toys for the kids off to the side it was like it was with this family eating what they would eat. I don't really eat rice or pasta and when I inquired about getting my soup without the vermicelli or pasta noodles they offered me zucchini noodles which I was floored with I mean I'm literally getting a great light vegetable soup with an option to have all shrimp instead of adding the shrimp or fish balls and calamari that normally comes in this dish. I was so happy with all the substitutions, condiments, and the atmosphere it was wonderful it was light it was tasty and worth every single penny which was very inexpensive compared to other places we have been for lunch.

Yelp
Stepping into Pho Vy is like finding a slice of Vietnam right in Oakland. The bun rieu? Simply divine. It's the kind of dish that not only fills you up but also warms your soul with its rich, home-cooked goodness. The service? It's like being welcomed by an old friend - warm and genuine. Sure, the street parking is a bit of a hunt, but that first spoonful of bun rieu makes you forget all about it. Pho Vy isn't just a meal; it's an experience that stays with you.

Yelp
Warning: do not come here hungry. When you walk in (and per other Yelp reviews), this place is short staffed. I knew that coming in. However, what I was annoyed about was that one table (party of one) came after me, and got their food first. Another table (party of 3), got here before me but placed their order after us, ALSO GOT THEIR FOOD BEFORE US. Waiting a long time sucks. Waiting and seeing other people that all objectively placed orders AFTER me (party of two), despite one table seated before me, got me a little mad. The food here is good though. And I do like supporting local small family restaurants. However, when there are comparable places (Pho Houng Que) that have faster and fairer service, I probably have no reason to have to come back.

Yelp
Yum! Came by on a Wednesday with a friend. I had a small bowl of bun bo hue plus a smoothie, which was the perfect amount of food for me (without feeling overly stuffed). I loved the taste of the bun bo hue and I'd get it again. The mango smoothie also hit the spot for me. Street parking was easy to find on a weekday for early dinner (before 6pm), and there is outdoor dining available (under tarp/shade). I'd definitely come back!
google avatar

Gillian A.

Yelp
Eh, some things I liked about this place, other things not so much, hence the overall 3 stars. Maybe I'm just a stickler for bun bo hue but I found the one here to be just okay. Broth could've had a tad more sourness to it. It was also a little watered down. Bowl had a skimpy amount of beef slices. Didn't fill me up much as I was hungry again just a couple of hours later (I had the small-size bowl, which I'm usually fine with satiation-wise at other Vietnamese restaurants). I tried the broth of the rare steak pho that my sister ordered. Very flavorful! Definitely could taste the star anise in particular. Looked like there was a decent amount of rare steak slices as well. My sister told me that she enjoyed her bowl of pho. Friendly staff here though they looked overworked (there's a sign at the front mentioning longer wait times for service due to the restaurant being understaffed). Overall not a bad spot if you're looking for some pho in the area (and maybe even the bun bo hue as well if you're not picky about it like I am.....get a larger size though if you're really hungry!).
google avatar

Ash M.

Yelp
Just had dinner here and it was amazing! Some of the best pho we've ever had. My husband got the beef pho and loved it. We also got a taro smoothie and Thai iced tea. The restaurant is nice and big with kind and efficient wait staff. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!
google avatar

Lorenzo H.

Yelp
Came through here for dinner one night with a friend. I ordered the vermicelli, it was good. But randomly my favorite thing was the coconut smoothie. I still think about that coconut smoothie it was that good. Would def come back if I'm in the area

Yelp
Honestly got excited to try this spot so I forgot to take pictures of my meal before eating it. I order a large Pho Tai with extra meat! Portion size was definitely big enough to split amongst two people. Meat was fresh and greens/bean sprouts provided were also fresh! Yet, the broth was not as flavorful as I was hoping it to be, but it was clear and cleaned which I liked. Notes: Quick and easy service! At the moment they are prioritizing seating to be outside in the daytime too

Kayla S.

Yelp
Great food, great service. I always get their bun Bo hue, the best I've had in Oakland by far. My sons always get the Pho Ga, and they love it. The broth is clear and full of flavor. And my partner always gets the beef stew with egg noodles, and he's not a noodle soup person at all but he always asks for it. We come here at least twice a month lol

Jasmin C.

Yelp
Pho Vy is my go-to pho spot here in Oakland. Their pho is consistently good. Service is always quick and the ladies who take my order almost everytime are always so sweet. They have plenty of seating inside or out on their patio, which btw is covered so there's always shade! Pricing is reasonable as well-- the taste, presentation, and portion you get really makes you feel like you're getting the most bang for your buck. I always recommend them to anyone craving pho or Vietnamese food!
google avatar

Ivy L.

Yelp
A phở shop named after me so I had to try it! Jk, I saw on Instagram that they have a secret off menu item and served Vietnamese tacos so we had to go. I also ordered the Bun Cha Ha Noi since that's something my mom doesn't make and I wouldn't be able to get very often otherwise. I thought the Bun Cha was pretty good and fresh, I would definitely order it again. The dish had plenty of flavor and the portions are huge, plus you get plenty of veggies to go with it. As for the tacos, they were super flavorful, maybe too much for me? I could only eat one of the tacos so luckily I didn't order that as my main dish and we shared. I'd recommend trying it though, it was delicious and packed a lot of flavor. To order, you go to the counter at the entrance and can pay beforehand. And then you can choose to sit indoors or outdoors, they do require masks if you go indoors for any reason and provide it if you don't have one. It was a bit confusing on where to sit since they told us to sit at table 4 but we couldn't find our table number so they just told us to sit at a table. My biggest pet peeve, and I know this may be because of COVID, is they individually wrap your utensils in a plastic bag. Otherwise, service was good, the servers were nice, refilled my water, and food came out reasonably fast.
google avatar

Marsha W.

Yelp
I ordered a veggie dish because I haven't ate meat in years. Not only did my meal come with meat, but the box it came in had food from another dish. I simply did not eat it nor did I make an attempt to return it because I for sure I won't be returning to this establishment.
google avatar

Charlie A.

Yelp
I was craving some good spring rolls and stumbled upon this place. Boy o boy did I hit the jackpot! They have not only spring rolls, but all the grilled meat rolls you can ever ask for! Grilled chicken, pork, beef, and more, it was too many option to just get 1, so I had to try them all! Lol these are full size rolls, you can cut them all to 8 pieces for sharing. You can tell everything was freshly rolled, haven't been just sitting there waiting for their next owner to walk in. We basically had a spring roll flight party at work, they were all soooo good it was hard to pick a winner. But I think collectively everyone love loved the grilled pork one the most! This is def my new spring roll go to spot from now on
google avatar

Rafael N.

Yelp
Great Vietnamese Pho and dishes. Simply fresh and flavor on point. They offer amazing cupcakes.

Nancy S.

Yelp
Loved Pho Vy! Broth for the pho was excellent. I had the No. 2 (rare beef), and the thin slices of rare beef cooked effortlessly in the broth. Pho Vy offers small/medium/large sizes. This was perfect for me, as I also ordered the fresh spring roll. It came with a thin slice of pork encasing the shrimp. It was fine, but next time (and there will be many next times!), I will order just shrimp in the roll. I also enjoyed my Thai Iced Tea. Will return to try other dishes, as well as the cupcakes they offer. I was too full this time!
google avatar

Margaret H.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Pho Vy. I stopped by on a Sunday and got a medium #1 Combination Pho plus a Vietnamese Coffee. There is a large shaded outdoor seating area and they seem pretty serious about their Covid protocols. I appreciate that they keep their outdoor tables clean. It's a simple dish but made with quality ingredients, and I savored my meal slowly. Service was warm and prompt, and they followed up with me every time they came outside to make sure I didn't need anything else. But they weren't annoying about it if you know what I mean. I will be back to try some of the house specialties. Next time I'll bring some family and friends in tow.
google avatar

Jenn W.

Yelp
We came on a Monday evening and thankfully California decided it is over winter temperatures so outdoor seating was just fine. 2 tables were already eating and we were the only new arrivals. Our food took 12 minutes to come and I was disappointed my bun bo hue was barely warm. (A recent previous reviewer mentioned this too and I was so hoping that was just a fluke.) The rolls were good and the rice plate made up for my disappointment a bit. All in all an average spot; considering there are many other nearby Vietnamese/Pho places.
google avatar

Angel L.

Yelp
Outdoor dining only at this time (Oct 2021). They're currently understaffed (there was a sign). Despite that, service was good and food came out really fast. All utensils are given to you in a plastic bag separate of each other (even napkins). When they clean, they use vinyl gloves. Love that they're still taking many precautionary measures during this time (COVID). There's size small, medium, and large. The depth of soup was pretty good, but soup could just be a tiny bit hotter. Still I would come back to try their Bon Bo Hue and again for their pho, especially on colder days.
google avatar

Carina L.

Yelp
First time coming here and it was alright. Most patrons are non-Viet. The servers look like members of the family owned business. We ordered pho dac biet, bun rieu and a kids pho bo vien. My partner was satisfied with the pho dac biet. On the other hand, I was underwhelmed by the bun rieu. Admittedly this dish is finnicky to try in a restaurant because it's hard to translate the flavor and style one is used to from home. Rieu is supposed to be large soft "meatballs" and these were small and hard. The color should be red and this one was kind watered down. It did the trick for my craving but I am hesitant to try again. We shall see!
google avatar

Hillary C.

Yelp
Pho Vy is to me what the Ratatouille restaurant was to Anton Ego (the food critic character). When he bites into the ratatouille and is transported back into his childhood, that's how I feel when I slurp up some pho dac biet or pho tai here. Some might describe this place as "no frills" but to me it has all the frills - an altar in the corner, lazy susan tables, fluorescent lighting, a waving lucky cat figurine, tv playing movies. You know an Asian restaurant is authentic when you see these items, or when a cute little kid takes your order. I grew up eating this style of pho dipped in copious amounts of hoisin sauce in restaurants like this, and each table has all the standard accoutrements. The pho is flavorful and hearty and large. It's the real deal, multigenerational family-owned, and I remember having a lovely conversation with one of the owners the first time I came here. My first time here, I was on an amazing date where we shared musings on what places like this meant to us, and while it didn't end up working out with her, nothing can keep me away from this place!
google avatar

Johnny M.

Yelp
*For to-go order only. Not that great for several reasons. (1) Improper customer service - phone receptionist refused to offer a quote for the food order that was placed over the phone. (2) broken noodles - noodles congealed and fell apart upon reheating. This is a sign of overcooking the noodles in-house without rapidly quenching it. So when I take the noodles home to reheat, it just falls apart into tiny pieces like macaroni. (3) heavy MSG in the broth - left feeling thirstier than ever and craving water. Positives were fresh veggies. However, this is not enough to swing my rating because veggies are only toppings. The broth and noodles weigh more in rating a bowl of pho.

Yelp
I won't be going back to a place where you pay extra for fried tofu and they give you three of the saddest pieces of tofu you've ever seen. Also the 9.50 spring rolls only come with three? Overpriced and stingy as hell
google avatar

Tori K.

Yelp
Authentic food and super friendly staff, would definitely come back again! I had the spring rolls, pho tai, and avocado smoothie and all were delicious :)
google avatar

Jonathan N.

Yelp
I had the rare beef pho and it was probably the best pho I've ever had. Large bowl is huge but I was hungry so I'm glad I got it. I'd eat it again tomorrow. Great service and surprisingly spacious inside.

Yelp
Best Vegan Pho in the Bay Area. It was crazy flavorful and taste. The service was great and the meal was a fair price. Fantastic place.
google avatar

Yelp
Small brisket, rare steak pho & beef stew pho tacos.. UH-mazing!! Clean environment & super friendly staff! 10/10! We'll be back!
google avatar

Olivia Z.

Yelp
Not my favorite pho in the area but it's pretty decent, the prices are good for Oakland, and the service is great (owner came up to all the tables to make sure we weren't parking somewhere that would get us a ticket). You can choose between small, medium, and large for the noodle soups which I appreciate. Small was definitely enough for me even though I was pretty hungry, with a large you could probably get 2 meals out of it. Beef pho - 7/10 There was an adequate amount of meat, but I wouldn't say it was very generous. Beef balls cost extra and it only came with 2 halves. Overall the broth was good and the noodle texture was good as well. Good but not great. Egg rolls - 9/10 I really liked these and would definitely order again. They are very crispy and flavorful and I also liked that each egg roll was quite big. The sauce and veggies that came with it were also done well. We saw someone else order the fried tofu skin and I'd definitely want to try that next time. I've also tried the bun rieu before and I wasn't too impressed. Not a lot of crab paste and mostly just tomato flavor. All their dining right now is outdoors with foldable tables and chairs. It's not the most comfortable but there is a tarp overhead.
google avatar

Bonica B.

Yelp
Great food great customer service very friendly! The Ambiance is causal and spacious.
google avatar

Cari A.

Yelp
Solid spot to come for pho. I was able to find street parking with no problem. They currently have outdoor seating available (no indoor dining). You order your food and their staff assign you a table and bring it to you. Pros: -friendly staff -quick service -casual environment Cons: -n/a
google avatar

Christine V.

Yelp
They've got the classics and as well as plenty of other appetizers, drinks, and dessert to explore. I thoroughly enjoyed my bun bo hue and iced coffee. I rarely go to Oakland, but this place made it something worthy of coming back for.
google avatar

Rachel G.

Yelp
My favorite vegan pho in Oakland!! The ultimate comfort food. With the made to order broth, buttery bok choy, massive mushrooms, and tasting noodles. Also another big highlight: the vegan Vietnamese iced coffee!!! I never see this anywhere. What a nice treat
google avatar

Signore G.

Yelp
I order their Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio and a Bo Kho. Both were amazing. So far, the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio here is the best one to me that I have tried in the SF/Oakland area. Highly recommend to do yourself a favor and give it a try. The fish sauce was on point for the Bun. Its nothing too fancy or flashy like other places, specially in SF, but its just very well put together, simple and authentic . The Bo Kho was very tasty and delicious too. The portions were very large for both of these. Sadly they don't have Hu Tieu Kho there's a lot else to have. The waitress was really nice and give great suggestions about the best sellers. I will definitely be coming back for these two dishes

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday night with my husband, a gal pal, and her boyfriend. It was raining and so cold and only outdoor seating was available. It was fine though since we had a heater and we're still in a global pandemic LOL, so outdoor it is! We ordered 1 order of nem nuong rolls for the table and then I had a small BBH. The rolls were standard and came with 4 pieces, so the perfect amount to share. The BBH broth was delicious. It had a good kick but also had complex flavor. My only complaint was that it didn't come out as hot as I would have liked (I like my soup to burn me a lil lol). The small bowl ... was very ... small LOL, and I was still hungry after finishing it but that was on me. If you're coming with an appetite and not ordering an appetizer, I'd say go with medium or large. I love spicy and shrimpy BBH so I asked for extra hot sauce and shrimp paste and they graciously provided. I really liked my meal here and want to come back.

Khalifa W.

Yelp
I would love to gatekeep this place but the food is just TOO GOOD ! I've been coming here for almost 6 years. (I used to be a regular, came here almost every weekend). It's a family owned restaurant. They are all extremely kind, service is amazing and they treat you as family. Highly recommend ! Best Pho in the Bay Area !!
google avatar

Bo K.

Yelp
Drove out here during a quick trip in San Francisco for a relatively late dinner (past 8 pm). At the time of our visit in Jan 2022, they were doing outdoor seating only. The pho was good and really hits the spot. The BBH was a little disappointing, definitely not their best dish. The beef stew noodles, on the other hand, was fantastic. Great flavors. We loved the large portions of noodles and overall, every soup had depth - not watered down stock. We also ordered some chicken wings just because we were craving some and they were solid. Hot, crispy, juicy and tender. We didn't love dining outside but we understand the reasoning. For coming in near closing time, we never felt rushed.

I was craving some pho in the Oakland area and Pho Vy hit the spot. As of Oct 2021, they are only offering outdoor seating. Parking wasn't too bad either. Service was great, and the food was delivered pretty quick. Food-wise, we were satisfied with the pho. The ability to choose between a S, M, and L bowl is really appreciated. (a medium was enough to fill me up). And we topped off our meal with an iced coffee which was a great addition. You can definitely find better pho in San Jose, but for what it's worth, this is definitely a solid spot in Oakland.

Yelp
Great spot for Vietnamese cuisine and not too far away from the Lake. My Bun Bo Hue was delicious, nice and spicy. Nem Nuong was good too with lots of meat, and the combo was nicely portioned. There are parking right in front (3-4 cars). I was told they are open with limited hours mostly on weekends. I lucked out when I called they picked up right away. During my visit, it was front door pickup only, but the nice gentlemen and lady was very kind and very helpful. They even gave me direction where Lucky grocery was located since I am new in the Oakland area. Definitely would return back. Cheers!

Yelp
Food is tasty but service is slow and a bit pricey . Maybe it's just because they are under staff. I will come and eat their again
