"The sign outside of Pho Xe Lua sports a kitschy steam train drawing, and the dark brown pho broth brings a freight train of beefy flavor to your mouth. Get the oxtail pho to up the bovine quotient and have fun picking the chewy meat nuggets off the bone. The spicing of the broth is subtle, for those who prefer more cow and less star anise in their pho." - Becky Grunewald

One of the best phos I've had that tasted quite authentic. I highly recommend the ox tail rice noodle soup as it had a deep savory broth that will warm your soul. The broth here is very rich and not watered down at all. It still maintained a clear appearance without being too light. Would love to come back again!

Google
A very authentic pho noodle restaurant. The service is really good, and the food comes out pretty fast. The price is very good, and they are generous in their portions. The pho is signature and every size is worth the price. Not only that, their combination plates is surprisingly good. I enjoy their porkchops, and my family likes the pho. It gets busy sometimes but also enough space. I believe this restaurant has been around since the late 2000's, and continues to deliver good quality, affordable, Vietnamese food. Enjoy!

Google
The pho broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs and condiments were well-balanced. The portion size was generous compared to other pho restaurants. The service was adequate, and the restaurant was reasonably clean. While I might not choose it for a first date, it's an excellent option for recovering from a hangover.

Google
Pho-nomenal Every Time! Phở Xe Lua is my go-to spot when I need a warm hug in a bowl. That broth? Pure magic, savory, steamy, and packed with flavor like it’s been simmering for days (because it probably has). The rare beef melts in your mouth, the noodles are always perfectly cooked, and the fresh herbs take it to the next level. The vibe is chill, the service is snappy, and they never skimp on portions, seriously, come hungry. Whether you're battling a cold, a hangover, or just life in general, this place has your back. 5/5 would slurp again.

Google
Great food, fast service, busy restaurant. The pho is plentiful, workers are tentative and not lazy, and very popular busy place.

Google
Fast service from the staff. Good pho with rare beef and meatballs, decent broth. I like smaller, bouncier meatballs these are huge Table chile sauce not spicy. Chicken spring rolls are huge and taste good, but could use more veggies and herbs beyond lettuce. Peanut sauce was really sweet. Nuoc cham was good. Tasty drinks $6+ each, due to large size but a little pricey IMHO.

Google
Best oxtail pho ever. Food service is fast and food is always amazing. I brought my mom here because she loves pho and goes to other restaurants, and said this place was the best by far. All of their other dishes are great too. I haven’t had a complaint so far and I’ve been eating at this restaurant for over two years.

Google
Came for the pho, was surprised they had so much other variety of Chinese food too. Great tasting pho soup, lots of meat! Definitely will come back!

Yelp
food is good, big portion and reasonable price. we ordered combo beef pho, small for $11, the portion is big. Soup is less salty type, overall it's good value for money. lemongrass wings - just average. 8 wings for $10 charbroiled pork - the best and big portion for $16. our favorite. The service is okay, they're quick.

Yelp
Honestly this place is not too bad - 1. Food is great - big portions price wise - 2. Service is HORRIBLE - the lady named Tina/Dina was very rude - I Ordered online and the options were DELIVERY OR PICK UP - we opted to dine in and the lady was like "DO YOU WANT ME TO PLATE IT FOR YOU?" in a very loud rude annoying tone and when we sat she even have time to tell us " Next time you tell us you want to dine in so we can reserve" again in a very RUDE RUDE tone 3. The place has a broken AC and very smoky inside - makes it too hot to eat Pho

Toby N.

Yelp
Tucked in deep Stockton Blvd/Fruitridge area, not the best part of Sactown Yet Pho Xe Lua is good in size w dining area for every Pho type you like from their many dishes on the menu. Although the name Pho Xe Lua (Train) literally translates into a big a$$ bowl of Pho The menu is huge with many dishes to try ( rice plates, chow mein, soups, etc.) I've been here many times & really like their Pho broth & also tried their Bun Bo Hue ( Spicy beef soup) Not my go to for Pho but a good alternative bc they are open 7 days a week. Service is fairly consistent as well

Ilu H.

Yelp
Not bad. Service is alright. The food is good. I ordered a vermicelli noodle dish and was surprised that they served it on a plate because it was kind of hard to mix it all together with the sauce. So you have to use your spoon to help mix it. The pho is alright.

Yelp
This place is definitely a hole in the wall type of restaurant. It's such a hidden gem honestly! Prices are just right by the way. Lots of options and the food is very quick to come out which I appreciated. Usually if you order Pho from other places, sizes of the bowl are very small. They have small, large, and extra larger (no medium) .. I got the large and did I pay the price! It was huge! I'm scared of even trying to see the XL. Lots of noodles and lots of meat (order #1 for all meats), so I'll go small next time! The spring rolls, the waiter actually warned me like are you sure 2 orders of spring rolls? I'm like yeah.. now I see why. They were 2 massive (shrimp & pork) spring rolls! Order to share for 2 people. Also got the shrimp fired rice. Very good, and my partner really enjoyed the flavors. The waitress was so awesome and friendly. I recommend it 100%. Big portions for empty stomachs!

Paul C.

Yelp
This restaurant is one of our favorite food places in Little Saigon here in Sacramento. There's a lot of pho shops within a mile, but this is definitely best one of the best. They even have the traditional drip coffee with condensed milk, which is hard to find these days. Great menu with lots of Vietnamese and Chinese options, very good service.

Jenny H.

Yelp
This is the 3rd time I've been here, trying a different dish every time. I like this place! Love they have a parking lot. Food: These portions are huge! The first time I came here they had Bun Rieu, however they don't serve this dish anymore. This time I got the dry noodles with grilled pork, egg rolls and shrimp. The fish sauce dressing was off this time, it was way too salty. We guessed maybe they mistakenly added salt instead of sugar. The waitress helped make a new fish sauce dressing for us which was much better. Second time I was here I liked the Bun Bo Hue. Service: Attentive Lots of waiters around to help Fast Ambiance: Casual dining, huge restaurant, helpful staff. The menu is so big, more to try next time.

Alden C.

Yelp
This place was recommended to me by a friend. I'd say the service here is as expected. You order your food comes out fair quick. I feel that this place is a little bit on the expensive side compared to other establishments in the area. However, the food is good and the place never has a wait from the times I have been.

Raj S.

Yelp
Make no mistake this place is fire!! , but the last couple of times we been here cashier / Owner reminded us to leave a tip at the table. REALLY!! Also prices have doubled almost tripled compared to the portions you get.

Vivian P.

Yelp
Big restaurant with generous portions and hearty pho! I came here for the first time on a rainy day and it definitely hit the spot. The pho was great, with flavorful soup. The shrimp and grilled pork spring roll was very good, especially with the peanut sauce that comes with it. The service was awesome; they seat you as soon as you walk in and the food comes out super fast. The restaurant itself is homey, with lots of seating. I highly recommend this spot!

Sara E.

Yelp
Holy portion sizes batman! I ordered a small #1 combo and had soup for three days! Just delicious. Like most South Sacramento Pho places, Xe Lua is more about getting you in, feeding you, and getting you out. Super fast service, STEAMING bowls of soup, and efficient staff. I also really enjoyed the Banh Xeo crepe with shrimp and pork. It was over-stuffed and did not hold together well, but it all mixed together in the lettuce wrap for a delicious bite with many flavors and textures at once. Really had an amazing time with great friends. I know where I'm headed the next time I'm trying to recover from a cold or need that warmth from within. Great place!

Corinne P.

Yelp
This spot is a Sacramento staple for pho. The restaurant has a lot of clean tables, a big menu, quick service, & friendly staff. If you're looking for servers that wait you hand and foot, this is not the place. However, anytime you need anything, there's always someone around to help & get you what you need. 10/10 - #1 Combination House Special Beef Noodle Soup Pho (add tendon): one of my favorite pho broths, it's full of beef bone flavor & well seasoned; the noodles have a great texture & soft. Any of the beef phos are a must try! 10/10 - #34 Charbroiled Shrimp with Chicken with Egg Roll Vermicelli: the meats have a delicious char, the egg roll dipped in the sauce is so tasty, & the sauce mixed with everything is very appetizing. 10/10 - #109 Cubed Steak (shaking beef): great alternative for a beef meal that's not soup; the beef is cooked into bite sized tender pieces with an amazing flavor. 9/10 - #25 Beef Stew Rice Noodle Soup: another great choice if you don't want pho; sometimes the beef pieces aren't all super tender, but most of the time the meat is consistent. 5/10 - Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls: this roll is very bland & dry due to the pork being boiled; the peanut sauce is average. I'd recommend skipping this & trying the grilled pork spring roll instead.

Timothy T.

Yelp
Great food, friendly thoughtful service and amazing price. Definitely going back and keeping this as a favorite go to.

Mireya R.

Yelp
Came here for the first time and I was so impressed. It was quick, easy and to the point. My chicken pho was so delicious I loved the broth and a small was just right!

Rob R.

Yelp
Ordered delivery again - it'd had been a long, long while. The spring rolls were amazing. Tried the lemon grass chicken and it just didn't have much flavor. The pork bun was pretty tasty as expected. The vegetarian chow fun had zero flavor - not sure how it was so bland. Overall disappointing - hoping that it gets back to its glory days.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Food: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3/5 I love pho! Pho Xe Lua pho is pretty amazing. I would give this place a chance. It's a big restaurant and I noticed a lot of people do takeout.

Christian T.

Yelp
Been coming here for YEARS now, it's a hit or miss sometimes, the pho is more rich than other days but I mean for the price, you get what you pay for and I'm grateful. I love how I'm so close to this place and I know I can choose from a variety of option on the menu here. The owner Tina is super nice and friendly and I feel like generally all the staff here are super nice friendly and work very hard and efficient. I always get the special or tendon only! Love how they give you extra veggies/mints on the side. Do recommend giving this place a try if you haven't, it's good for family and friends, something nice and quick!

Daniel C.

Yelp
It was rainy and wanted to get pho with the wife. Looked up best pho in Sacramento and this place looked promising. Service was solid, and the ambiance of the restaurant had an old school 90's vibe to it. Ordered a Pho Dac Biet #1 and a number 8 brisket and flank. We also ordered egg rolls.I got excited when I saw the veggies plate and it had culantro, I thought this place would be pretty legit. The pho was underwhelming, as the broth was more MSG than spices. The only verifiable spice I was able to detect was a little bit of star anise. Their meat was a bit of a paradox, as chewy pieces like the meatball were soft, but their tender cuts like the raw flank were very chewy. The next issue was the rice noodles which were on the thicker side and left a plume of starch in the broth and when chewed were grainy. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about, as they were greasy and did not have much if any meat in them. Overall, we have not found the best pho in Sacramento. :(

Lily Y.

Yelp
Food: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Ambience: 5/10 It's a decent medium size Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant with a large menu to choose from. Mainly most popular for their big size pho bowls and rice plates, but we decided to try the dinner package for lunch today since it's 109 degree outside. Each dish was delicious and price is fairly reasonable $68 for 4 people and portions are large. I wish the table was bigger or round shaped for this type of dining, would have been a better experience. We had to stack food over each other and it's not comfortable when you're having this family style of dining. Service was friendly and attentive. We're glad we tried and it did not disappoint!

Isabel T.

Yelp
Come here very often. My family and i lovee this place because the price isn't that expensive, their food is good and it comes out pretty fast! Sometimes it can be really busy depending on when you go and parking might be a bot hard to find if its busy and the parking lot is pretty cramp and small but we are able to find parking everytime we go. We usually order pho with rare beef is XL and sometimes their vermicelli with grilled pork. The XL is reallly big and good to share between people and is very filling. The pho broth has really good flavor (most of the time lol, they're inconsistent) but its still good. Has a lot of noodles, meat and they give the herbs and stuff to put in. Its honestly just a really solid meal and place to go for vietnamese food. Their service is pretty average for like authentic asian places lol but good enough that they take care of everything. They bring the food out very quickly most of the time which is great. Overall a great place to go and always a go-to restaurant for us.

Christopher L.

Yelp
PHO TRAIN!!! I'm not sure if that is what "Xe Lua" means, but this is my go-to spot for pho in Sacramento. The portions are gigantic. The XL comes in a huge bowl with sooo many noodles lol. I ordered #13 which had most items in it and the broth was great. I think that the first sip of pho is one of the greatest feelings in the world, and this place does that experience justice. One thing that I've noticed here (and forgot since the last time I came) is that you have to pay at the front, and servers will probably never come back to see if you need anything after they serve you the food. We were sitting around after we finished our food for a good 15 minutes before we noticed that we had to pay at the front as no servers came around in that time.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Super solid food at a great price! Pho Xe Lua is one of my go to spots when I'm craving pho. I've been here a lot throughout the years, and they're always consistent. They have a large designated parking lot, and I never have problems finding parking. They also have a large amount of seating so the wait to get seated isn't ever long. I normally order a Large or Extra Large Pho to share, and it's sometimes more than enough food! They're very fast & friendly. I have no complaints :)

Frankie V.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I always pass by this place and decide to stop by on a cold day. They have a huge menu with a lot of variety of foods which is really good. We just decided to get the pho dac biet. And a side of shrimp spring rolls I understand why they are called XL because the bowl of pho are huge. The pho was nothing too special. I normally taste the broth before adding any sauces to it to see how well the soup is seasoned. The soup was okay a little bland . I did have to add a lot of sauce to it like Sriracha and hoisin sauce. My girlfriends noodles were overcooked so they just broke apart and the shrimp spring roll was very bitter. I'm pretty sure due to the vegetables in it. Overall the pho was okay but at least they have much more to choose from. So maybe next time we come back I will choose something different and let you guys know.

Kinley W.

Yelp
I recently ordered takeout from Pho Xe Lua in Sacramento, and my overall experience was solid, earning the establishment a 3.8-star rating. Let's start with the positives: one of the standout features is their generosity when it comes to meat portions - they definitely don't skimp on that front. The affordability of their dishes is also a major plus, making it an attractive option for those looking for a tasty meal without breaking the bank. The pho had a commendable flavor profile, and I appreciated the ample supply of bean sprouts, limes, and basil provided for customization. However, there were some downsides to note. While the pho was flavorful and satisfying, the Bun Rieu, unfortunately, fell short in the taste department. It lacked the robust flavors one would expect and, regrettably, tasted more like hot water than a rich and savory broth. This was a bit disappointing given the otherwise positive aspects of the meal. Despite this setback, Pho Xe Lua still has a lot going for it. The ample meat portions, reasonable prices, and flavorful pho make it a worthwhile choice. I'm willing to give them another chance, perhaps by dining in next time to see if the Bun Rieu experience improves. Overall, a decent option for Vietnamese cuisine in Sacramento, with room for enhancement.

Yelp
Went here with a group! Luckily there's a lot of tables and big tables so we were able to get seated quickly. The service was good and there were a lot of servers. Lots of people helping us. Our usual pho spot closed down so we looked for a place on Yelp. We came here for the good reviews, but honestly the food was mid. There was a wide diversity of people eating here. Big groups came in too. The menu is very big with lots of different types of items to choose from! Great for people who don't want just pho. They had family group deals that were good as well. The menu was impressive, I wish we tried more different types of food to see what was good at this restaurant. We ordered the salt pepper wings which could've used more flavor. The crispiness was good though. We also tried the lemongrass wings which had a lot more flavor! Pretty tasty. I definitely preferred the lemongrass wings over the regular salt pepper wings. We also tried the bo luc lac with the red rice. I liked how the red rice has eggs in it. The rice was good but not too flavorful so the eggs definitely added something more to it. The meat was good but didn't have that authentic flavoring of typical Bo luc lac I get. The meat itself was good - tender and soft. The pho bowls were decent. Big portions and lots of meat. Definitely appreciate that! The broth was a bit salty and didn't have much depth though. Good for cravings but not amazing. The Vietnamese coffee was decent as well. Not super strong. It wasn't super sweet either so that was good. It got me through the day so that was a plus! Overall, my food experience was a 3/5. It was decent good but not amazing. I expected more with the many great reviews on Yelp. It wasn't that satisfying. Perhaps there are better items we could've tried, but that was my experience with our food selection.

Anthony A.

Yelp
I've been complaining to my partner that I haven't had a good bowl of pho since I've moved to the Sacramento area. One day they came home and recommended a new place they found. Pho Xe Lua was that place and it delivered what I'm looking for. The broth is pretty good, the bowls / portions are huge and the prices are fair! They're always fast to get us seated and served. Customer service is always friendly and wanting to know how we enjoyed our meal. Definitely a place I could see myself going back to a few times!

Linda C.

Yelp
I always give my experience for the first time I go eat anywhere. So here it is. Got seated pretty fast which is a good thing. Menu has a lot of options but my and my family ordered 2 phos and a pork chop over rice and a Thai tea and also deep fried calamari. Didn't take much pictures as I was starving I only took one.l picture. Although the portion is a good size it is pretty expensive but it is not good.. honestly I can make my pho better. I rather not order pho again from here. Honestly.. Thai tea is not good either. Only thing good I can say is the pork chop over rice meal and the calamari. THATS IT. A BIG downgrade is when they bugged my bf for a $10 TIP. This is my second time ever dealing with a pho restaurant annoying a customer for a tip. They had a really good amount of people eating there along with the expensive plates / soups. We did not order a lot of food to be asking for a $10 tip. I did however tipped them $6 just for the customer service. But after hearing about them bugging my bf. I shouldn't have gave them any tip at all. What's up with pho restaurants being greedy for extra money? Is that a new thing nowadays? If you want more money, just up your prices. Stop bugging customers for extra $$ really unprofessional. Honestly wouldn't eat here again.

Luis B.

Yelp
Fantastic spot to grab some pho and boba. Warning, the portions here are huge, I came here with a huge appetite and still couldn't finish my main dish. Will definitely be stopping by here again in the future!

Tou V.

Yelp
Just tried this place today at noon. The Pho was delicious but one of the old ladies was rude when we were asking for utensils.

Jeff T.

Yelp
I was recommended this restaurant by a friend who said this was one of the best pho in Sacramento. I came with my wife on a late weekend afternoon and the restaurant was very lively. Lots of large parties were already seated and somewhat of a line waiting, however, we were sat fairly quickly. Based on the interactions between the waitresses and the customers, it seemed like there were lots of regulars that come to this restaurant and I can see why. Each dish was very fresh and clean. Everything was well balanced as no single ingredient overpowered the others. The broth itself felt light and clean yet flavorful. It definitely tasted homemade with love. Definitely one of the top pho restaurants in Sacramento for me.

Pa Nhia H.

Yelp
This is definitely a go to spot if you're looking for pho in Sacramento. Their pho broth is rich and flavorful. I also love their salt and pepper shrimp and salt and pepper calamari. They can sometimes be slow in bringing out the food and sometimes we'll have to get the attention of the servers when they don't check up on us. They have plenty of parking so you won't have to worry about that. I highly recommend this pho spot.

Michael W.

Yelp
Pho Xe Lua is a well-known Vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento. I was here very often many years ago when they're just opened, and Sacramento has way fewer pho restaurants at the time. I still come to Pho Xe Lua when I'm in the area. Their parking lot still looks the same. Their dining room still looks exactly like it many years ago! Not bad, but it starts showing the age! The foods are still good. They have a pretty impressive menu. Everything I tried was delicious. The workers were friendly and attentive. I enjoyed coming here on the weekdays. They're very crowded on the weekends. The parking lot seems pretty safe behind the gate. I saw a few homeless people walking around the area. But they are out of the gated area. I'll try to park my car in front of the building where I can see my car out of the windows! Lol!

Chaulzy S.

Yelp
Decided to visit on a busy New Year's Eve Saturday. This place was busy but crazy fast at their service. Since it was cold the kiddos really just wanted pho and i ordered a beef and shrimp with rice plate. Chicken pho was good my son didn't want to share lol My daughter was excited the bean sprouts were fresh and clean( we enjoy eating them while we wait so the fact they give a good handful was a plus) I probably should have ordered the pork chop plate cause the beef looked kinda like thin slices of sandwich meat. It was very flavorful just not what i was expecting. For me it's the smell of the restaurant when i walk in and they passed. I love to smell the foods cooking and not old carpets or the same smelly rag wiping tables. So we will be back probably in a week.

Candace Y.

Yelp
Nothing better than a nice, hot, delicious bowl of pho on a chilly December's day for lunch. It's been a few years since I last ate here. They've done a few changes in how the tables are arranged. Seems the layout is a little more open. I came here with two friends for some noodle bowls and appetites. I knew, though, that despite being hungry, I would be challenged to finish a small bowl. They serve you so much delicious soup with the noodles and other tidbits that most people can't consume it all. (Heck, the "large" looks enormous!) I ordered the rare beef, tripe, and tendon pho, the #10. So did one of my friends. The plate of bean sprouts, sliced jalapenos, and Thai Basil leaves was brought out first, as were the egg rolls with their bowl of dipping sauce. They were hot and fresh from the kitchen. Tasty. A nice appetizer, not that we had long to wait before the bowls of pho arrived. When the soup came, we busily began taking the fresh greens and beans sprouts and putting them into our bowls and submerged into the hot soup. Bliss. There are the standard sauces and condiments like plum sauce, fish sauce, and chili oil. I put my usual combination of these into my pho and stirred. After I'd eaten my fill, there was still quite a lot left, so when I went to the register and paid for my lunch, I asked for a take-home soup container.

Elyse C.

Yelp
Reasonable prices, large servings, great food, fast service! Very friendly cashier. Usually plenty of parking. Area is not so hot though. Love the small pho #7 (brisket, rare and well done steak. Been coming here for 10 years now, always hits the spot!!

Nerd I.

Yelp
This was a great place to discover. The food is bangin, the service is awesome and the restaurant has a pleasant ambiance. I can't wait to dine here again!

Daisy A.

Yelp
You're gonna get some tasty ass pho here! I think it's a good price and good flavor. I have never eaten inside cuz it's always busy (which makes sense). I love the bowls they use for the pick up orders, they're sturdy and I know they'll make it home in one piece.

Erin S.

Yelp
I was blown away by the tenderness and flavor of their BÒ LÚC LẮC (Shaking Beef). It is now what I am craving for when I go out.

No N.

Yelp
I really subpar Hoa Viet (bruceville location) the day before and I was so disappointed. Decide to go back to Pho Xua Lau to see if I'm the quality was as good as I remember. What a step up! Easy and quickly to place a takeout order. They were busy for Father's Day so it was going to be ready in 30 mins which is not that long compared to average 15-30mins. I sure was packed with tables and family and ambience was casual but lively. Picked up my food and hostess had it all ready and was in and out fast. Steak Cube Beef (Al carte)- great tasting beef, not over seasoned and tender Bun Bo Hue (L) - seemed more like an XLarge but that's a good thing. Flavor was great and gave us lots of noodles, meat and b veggies Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings 8 pcs - crispy and well seasoned with spices, dried chili peppers and roasted garlic.

Melay M.

Yelp
we ordered catfish in clay pot, chicken with noodles and lamb clay pot. Taste is okay but not the best.

Alfredo G.

Yelp
Okay, so I came to try this place out because of the hype on IG and because I lived here all my life...... 1. no AC at the moment... didn't mind. 2. yes welcoming and quick seating and water service. 3. smooth order had a small chicken Pho and grilled pork springrolls. 4 small Pho Bowl ( HUGE) buttttttt - The pho Broth can be way better..... had no flavor or maybe old......(I'm used to flavors spices etc ) and the chicken tasted funny and it was hard and chewy....... so didn't finish it. 5. Springrolls - hmm ok... grilled pork good, just a lot of lettuce and not much noodles ( It was a salad lol ). Over all I would have given it a 1 star review but I'll give them 2.....I paid $24 so it was a failed. :( Try it for yourself if you dare!

Duane L.

Yelp
New to Sacramento and was looking for some viet food. My table ordered rice plates, vermicelli, bun bo hue, bun rieu, banh xeo, and shrimp roll. Roll was nice and big with the peanut sauce, was enjoyable. Rice places spring roll and pork were really good. BBH kind of tasted a bit on the bland side. Not as flavorful or spicy as I've had at other place. Good for those who can't handle spice and don't like heavily flavored soup. I didn't try the banh xeo and bun rieu but the people who did said it was okay. This place will work to get your viet craving

Gwyne P.

Yelp
Okay, when they say XL, they really mean XL! The portions are ginormous and generous. You can definitely take leftovers home for a second meal (unless you're hungry and finish it all). Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and service was quick & efficient. Once we ordered our food, everything arrived in a timely matter. I ordered the #34, which was grilled shrimp, pork and egg roll over vermicelli and it was delicious! The fish sauce was very flavorful and to my liking. I drowned my noodles in them, lol! The veggies included were pickled great too! For me, this dish was definitely a winner! Pho: because the place was known for their XL portions, we tried the pho in size XL. The broth was a tad watered but the bowl is full of noodles and meat.

Anthony H.

Yelp
I ordered two #1s sub big noodles via DoorDash. Received the order and the noodles were old, hard, and brittle. Nonetheless I tried to eat it, poured the broth on it, and the noodles just crumbled. This is a restaurant and they shouldn't send you old noodles period. I called the store and told them about the issue. The "manager" was a rude woman who when asked if she was the manager responded with, "depends on who's asking." She was probably the most angry condescending "manager" I've spoken to. She scolded me and told me to put the broth over the noodles. I told her I did that. She dgaf and passed the phone to a man who comes on the phone and tells me to work it out with DoorDash and hangs up the call. The "manager" and staff needs to learn some respect for customers who support their business. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Good karma only comes to those who put out good energy.

Yelp
It is my favorite place to eat pho, they are quick and prices are affordable. I took my skeptical brother there and he woke up thinking about it.

Yelp
Delicious pho! Broth is lovely--lots of goodies to add if you want. Generous portions. Very good service. Would eat here again.

Yelp
I did not feel as tho the quality of the food was very great here. The portions are very large and you get a lot for the price but the pho soup was really overwhelmed with star anise. Everything I ordered was just "ok". I would probably not come back here.

Yelp
This is the best place to have Beef Chow Fun in Sacramento. True, it's a Cantonese dish, but they know how to do it right, that is, dry, not drowned in gravy and the wide noodles have a slight char. Mmmm! Most people come for Pho, but my family usually orders other dishes, like Mapo Tofu, and they are all delicious. Their portions are large and we usually take home leftovers. I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
For anyone who hates phone calls but is on a tight schedule (or just don't feel like sitting outside waiting for the order), they have a website where we can now order online and schedule what time we'd like to pick it up in-person. I have no idea when this launched but this is the most convenient function for me and I'm glad it worked out well. It was easy to navigate and pay on the spot. They had my order ready on time when I came in and everything was perfectly packed in 1 bag (ordered 2 Pho Dac Biet). I've actually Doordashed (as a Dasher) here a couple of times and they've always been quick with fulfilling online orders, probably one of the best spots with fast service while still retaining high quality.
