Where to Eat in Phoenix

"Built in the style of an old-town tavern, the Phoenix City Grille serves contemporary American fare with local ingredients for a reasonable price. Everything on the menu is consistently good, whether it’s the appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, or home-made desserts. The cedar-plank salmon served with citrus and horseradish and a roasted beet salad is one of the specialties. The signature salad, the Ramona Farms Superfood, features tepary beans, a local Native staple for over 4,000 years, Sonoran wheat berries, arugula, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds, roasted squash, and panela cheese." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Started with the green chili appetizer where you roll your own burrito with the hot chili pork. Very tasty and fun. The bacon wrapped shrimp were good also. I got the cedar plank salmon that was fishy as hell 😩. Sides were OK but not great. Friend got the pork loin that tasted a lot better than my Friskies cat food salmon. Service was slow. The restaurant is dated. Clientele is ancient. Won't be back.

My wife and I are foodies to the core. We have been here multiple times. Never disappointed in the food or the service. One of our favorite restaurants in the valley and we drive 35 minutes to get here. Bacon wrapped shrimp is a must try. Look at their bourbon menu. Reason for the review tonight after multiple visits. . . Our waitress Bella was outstanding. We brought our 5 kids for their first “fancy” dinner. She was so kind and patient. Genuinely happy to serve us and very attentive. Thank you for making a special dinner perfect for our family Bella. PCG, you have a rockstar in Bella and lifelong customers with the Thompsons. Thank you!

I walked into this place and was immediately impressed. You already know this place is going to have great food. They paid attention to all the details; from the lighting to the temperature to the dark wood. We came in for lunch and I was even impressed by the lunch menu. Service was professional, well mannered, and attentive. But the food..... was fabulous! I had originally ordered the lunch short rib gnocchi, but it was sold out. I can totally understand why such a combination would sell out. I ended up with the shrimp that was in a garlic jalapeno butter sauce atop a coconut rice with veggies. The taste, texture, temperature, and serving size were all perfect! Stop in and experience a local favorite!

Love this restaurant. Came this time For Phoenix Chef Week. Three course meal and outstanding espresso martinis too!!!

As long time residents of Phoenix, we felt like we stepped back in time to when the city was smaller, friendlier and had some history. The low lighting and wood accents created a lovely ambiance. We sat at Rose Mofford’s table in a cozy front corner and spent a delightful evening celebrating with friends. We’re all still dreaming about the bacon wrapped shrimp and queso fundido! Our foods selections were delicious and our server gave us all the time we needed to enjoy everything. We can’t wait to go back!

After experiencing a very tedious day, my dear friend invited me to have dinner here at the "Grille" and I "Thank God" I accepted. Please let me tell you the 'Shrimp & Grits' didn't get eaten - They got KISSED!!! Why did my friend and I turn our forks to swords when we neared the last bite of the Creme Brulee' Cheesecake (Phoenix Grille almost broke up a good friendship). So I have to return without her! :) :) From the bottom of my heart I 'Thank Management for the food, the exceptional waitstaff, and the perfect ambience to let go of the world and simply embrace the 'moment'! -Mz Coleman

Google
Solid choice for well-prepared foods. The chicken breast, caramelized carrots and mashed potatoes is not exactly a revolutionary combo. However, each item is immaculately seasoned and cooked. The carrots were perfectly charred to a crispy chewy caramel on the edges. Mashed were fresh made, creamy and buttery. The chicken skin was a nice medium brown thin crispy all across and didn't fall off when you cut the breast which was super tender but still had a satisfying bite to it. Seasoning was great. The pan sauce was rich and savory. Pork chop with apple slaw was similar - each item prepared with attention to technique, and complimenting the ingredients. Sweet corn soup was well balanced with hot sauce to offset the natural sweetness of corn. Burrata over arugula had a simple but quality olive oil salt and pepper dressing to let the freshness and delicate taste of the Burrata come through. Reasonably priced for this level of quality.

Our server Carla was amazing! We went for restaurant week and got the Chop, burrata salad, and the chocolate dessert.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for happy hour or dinner. Always consistent and always adding great specials Last night went for anniversary dinner. Service was terrific as always. Had the peppercorn steak for entree and it was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. For starters we did the green chile cornbread which is a favorite. We also got the eggplant bites which may be the best thing on the menu. Lastly had the warm chocolate tort for dessert. Perfect ending to a terrific meal.

Yelp
After looking at our Restaurant Week options we decided on the Phoenix City Grille and what a pleasant evening it was! We arrived early for our reservation & were immediately seated, soon our waiter came by to introduce himself & take our drink order. Soon our Margaritas arrived & they were good. We ordered off the Restaurant Week menu & soon the 1st course came out. We ordered the Brie & Poblano soup & a Crab Cake. I was very pleased with the crab cake until I tried the Poblano soup. The soup was so smooth & seasoned so well & I loved the cornbread croutons in it. Don't recall if I've had it before but all future orders will be compared to this one, it was that good. For our 2nd course my wife had the pan seared Seabass & she loved it. I had the braised short rib & pea risotto, it was so tender, flavorful & the Demi glaze really elevated the dish; it was excellent! For dessert we ordered both choices, the bourbon glazed apples & vanilla bean ice cream, unfortunately I'm not a fan of hot fruit but my wife is & she really enjoyed the apples. I had the chocolate custard w/ pistachio nuts & it was very good. Bit of a drive for us but overall a very nice evening, very good food & very good service.

Yelp
One of our go to places. Starts ex with the bacon wrapped shrimp. Always so great. Did the burgers and they really are some of the best. Service was kind of off this particular day... but that won't stop us from returning.

Robin F.

Yelp
My husband ordered the salmon and loved it! He also enjoyed both the carrots and potatoes that came with it. I made a meal out of the queso fundido. It was good; not spicy as I had hoped it would be. The chips were perfect. We shared the bread pudding which was dense with sweet cream and caramel sauce. The blueberry blossom cocktail is deliciously sweet and was a nice change of pace. My husband had a PCG Barrel select Basil Hayden cask strength bourbon that we, unsuccessfully, tried to purchase a bottle of.

Yelp
Amazing food and pleasant ambiance! Came here with my son and husband for a Saturday lunch. Was not busy at all. They've been around 25+ years but somehow neither of us had tried it before! They have a huge alcohol selection too if you're into that. My husband got a bd on cheeseburger and I got the crispy eggplant sandwich. I loved the arugula and goat cheese on mine, my husband said his burger was one of the best he's had. We enjoyed our fries too, super thin fries and very crispy. My son enjoyed a couple fries too! Service was good and fast as well. Glad we found this spot finally, we will return!

Yelp
Ordered the steakhouse burger which came out with no real flavor and ice cold. The service was not very attentive.

Yelp
Bubbly, friendly, and delightful service experience with Kenzie is what I enjoyed during happy hour here with my sister. Every stop at the table to check on us she presented a beautiful smile and awesome hospitality. I will be checking for her the next time I dine here. Her service was off the charts. I was hoping the bar could make a chocolate martini but I was advised that they don't stock some of the ingredients to make it. So I asked Kenzie about the 'house' martini's that were on the happy hour menu and she made some suggestions. I ended up trying the blueberry lemon martini. It was delicious. The happy hour tacos were good. The Carne Asada was well seasoned and super tender. I tried the brussel sprout hash which was very tastey. It put me in mind of a veggie dish I would make at home. I hope to visit again to try the grass-fed ribeye.

Yelp
Had a working lunch here and really enjoyed! They had a number of lunch specials and unfortunately 3 of them sold out which was a bummer since most of our group was focusing on those items but the menu had plenty to choose from. I loved the shoestring fries and my eggplant sandwich was a winner. Portions were large, no one finished their plate. Service was great and meals flavorful, I would come back !

Yelp
Ambiance is always consistent elegant, relaxed, refined. Second time going and It was still enjoyable. Food 9.8/10 drinks -old fashioned 2/10 -blueberry blossom 0/10( sent back and was still charged for it) not pictured either wouldn't recommend it. Service was better the first time around but ok the second tim

Yelp
Great local spot for food. I got the steakhouse burger, cooked to perfection. The flavor profile with the mushrooms and black garlic sauce really made the burger stand out. The service was great, and they have a great whiskey selection.

Yelp
11/2/24 - Short version: Wonderful experience! Absolutely no complaints. The food was fantastically seasoned, came out hot, great plate display, service w/ Karla was top-notch, and it is a very laid back restaurant. Definitely will go back. Longer version: stopped in this particular Saturday around 3:45. There are a quite few parking spots on the east side but even more parking available to the north, thanks to its location in a strip mall. Karla came over quickly after being seated and took our drink order. So there is one complaint actually: the special cocktail (Clarified Kentucky Sour) was not available until 5:00. LOL! No worries, we were there long enough to get it. The eggplant bites were thin and crunchy, the Danish ribs were spicy and fell off the bone, as did the short ribs (they were not spicy). The green Chile cornbread was not inundated with chiles, the mashed taters were creamy with a small amount of herbs to add a touch of flavor. All the cocktails were excellent (the PCG designed into the bourbon ice cube is a classy touch), even the non-alcoholic passion punch was tasty. The desserts were over the top. That buttermilk pie was to die (in hindsight, I should have ordered one to go), the apple crumble pie was so damn good, and oh man, that bread pudding was mouth-watering good. NO RAISINS! I have always been picky about bread pudding, only ever loving my Mom's old old Better Crocker recipe. Well, PCG's recipe was the closest thing to it. It was dense and flavorful. I could have easily eaten the whole thing (it's a small serving) but I wanted to save some for later -- which was extremely hard to do. ;-) Our server, Karla, was exceptional. She was funny, attentive, and very interactive with us. She kept heckling me about my distaste for raisins, and joking with us about hassling the bar tender for our 5 o'clock scheduled Kentucky sour special. PCG is lucky to have her, and we were blessed to have her for the short time we did. If you have not tried PCG, why the heck are you waiting?! Go. Now.

Yelp
Incredible food, ambiance, and drink selection. Upscale but not horridly expensive. The weekend brunch selections are always changing and always top-notch. Try the Eggplant Benedict, you will want seconds. The fish is always fresh and cooked with flair. The atmosphere is wood, brass, and allows for conversation. One of our pet peeves is a restaurant that is so noisy you can't hear each other. Reservations are reccomended on weekends and dinner.

Gerri C.

Yelp
We stopped in for a drink and appetizer. This place was great and Emma was a wonderful bartender. We had the short rib sliders, spicy guava margarita and a blueberry vodka drink. We loved it all. Emma told us about the history and we will be back to try entrees soon!

Yelp
What a blessing! My husband's Employer provided an absolutely incredible eve here for a Private Appreciation Dinner last weekend and it was phenomenal We're from Oregon and up North they too have a PCG but it's Portland City Grill, that was fabulous.... So After over looking the reviews, I was so excited to experience the ambience and service.. Everything was more than expected! Top notch in my book, from the beginning to the end... Service, beverages, food and dessert was fantastic it was an over the head experience and I'm grateful! Everything PCG is doing, plz continue as it's superb... Thx you all for an amazing night and we shall return

Yelp
I really enjoyed my outing at Phoenix City Grille. The ambiance was cool, I sat in the bar area and it didn't look very crowded/during the time that I went. My waitress, Kenzie was amazing, she has really great customer service skills. I ordered; Sparkling sangria - this was so good Bacon wrapped shrimp - this was amazing Carne Asada tacos - good Brussel sprouts hash - good I recommend trying the above and checking out Phoenix City Grille

Yelp
Our first date night of the new year & we went to Phoenix City Grille for Whiskey 101 & dinner. My boyfriend has become obsessed with Whiskey & we go bourbon hunting on the regular so I thought this would be fun. We had a tasting of 5 different whiskies, and a personal charcuterie board with fruit, nuts & cheese for me & his plate had meat. It was a very interactive fun evening where we learned about the history of Whiskey. It was really enjoyable & we were able to meet some people from the whiskey group we are a part of. John Christie was great as the host as you he was really funny & you could tell he really enjoyed talking about whiskey & would nerd out at times. After we had dinner & opted to sit at the bar as we wanted to watch the Rams/Lions playoff game. Jeff was our bartender & he was great. Jeff was very knowledgeable, friendly, & I think my bf now has a new man crush . You could tell that there were a lot of regulars there as the bartender & staff called them by name & was really engaging which I really appreciated. My boyfriend had the strip steak special with mashed sweet potatoes & carrots which he thoroughly enjoyed. I had the crispy eggplant sandwich with sweet potato fries it was delicious. We really enjoyed our time at PCG & will definitely be back to try out their brunch & any other events that they may have.

Yelp
We came over here after having my hair cut for a quick lunch The greatest decision we made I had the Burger special wit skinny fries and a beer to washed down my goodness it was freaking great my other half had the Carne Asada tacos with salad and that Carne Asada was one of the best tastiest Carne Asada she ever had. She ate the whole thing washed down with a beer as well too great place to come to eat great atmosphere great host as well too We will be coming back for lunch and try different island from the menu Sarah was our server and made us feel so welcome and her smile so comfortable THANK YOU SARAH for the wonderful job you did YOU ROCK

Yelp
Service was ok. We sat in the bar. Seems bartender was either distracted or had too many people to handle. We weren't checked on enough and a couple of items ordered were forgotten and had to remind him. Food was delicious though. Atmosphere was nice and inviting. Would go back.

Yelp
This has been a staple in the neighborhood for many years. I am never disappointed when i come here. Absolutely fantastic place and amazing food. The ambiance is perfect for date nights. I enjoy the special which was a sirloin steak with blue cheese mashed potatoes, top with onion rings. The sauce, was a chili chipotle type of sauce but I honestly didnt think it was necessary. The dish it self was delicious. My husband had an amazing vegan salad that was full of flavor and beans for his protein. Id recommend you make a reservation as this place does tend to get busy
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite restaurant, hands down. My wife and I go there to try and fine something that we don't like. If you're a whiskey drinker, you've just found your honey hole.. Id recommend... everything. And don't skip the bread pudding.

William P.

Yelp
We were looking for a casual neighborhood restaurant and we found a food star. The wait staff was friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. There were three of us, each having something different. We sampled each other's dishes and determined all were equally good. We will be back for sure. Thanks.

Yelp
The food was great! The drinks were perfect. And was moved to quiet table where the ambiance was ideal

Yelp
I had high hopes and it was just a mid-line experience. I was SO excited to go, mostly because the foodies I went with are regulars and everyone usually rolls out the red carpet for them -- because they exude love and graciousness everywhere they go. This place knows them by name and my 83 year old Mother in Law chose THIS PLACE for her birthday. She is a gourmet chef, so you can imagine we bounced into this place with GLEEEE and enthusiasm. I honestly think the waitress didn't have enough time for us. Maybe she was busy or slammed or understaffed -- I don't know, but we were a table of 5 and -- I am sorry -- you ONLY TURN 83 one time in your life -- let's fuss over her just a little bit! The waitress was not rude. She checked all the boxes and did her job - that is for sure. However she did not make us feel very warm, welcomed or special in any way -- and it was like attentiveness was lacking. It's like someone serving you properly, but without care. She wanted to just go home. She had repressed impatience with us. It was as if when I asked her for another glass of wine or her opinion on the menu I was interrupting what she really wanted to be doing. You know when the server let you know that you are bugging them? That feeling. AND... by the way I have to say we were an adorable party! : ) A-DOR-A-BLE! I had my 83 year old Mother in Law's impeccable friends, who are 90 years old and 80 years old, beautifully dressed, put together and absolutely delightful, kind, loving highly capable humans... along with my 16 year old daughter who is just sparkles with delight wherever she goes, myself -- and my lovely 83 year old mother in law. Which by the way, I think they all had a delightful time. I don't even think they noticed that our service was mid. The food was ok. The service lacking. The ambiance was probably the best part. In all honesty, I kinda wished we just would have saved our money, didn't get all gorgeously dressed up for the night, didn't drive across town .... and just had yummy tacos at Manuel's Mexican Restaurant, where they really do love serving you and the food bursts with flavor. I can't say I would go back... well, only if my friends who I went with, who are regulars here -- tell me to... then I would, but I would much rather spend my money somewhere else.

Yelp
Really enjoyed lunch here for the 1sr time. Parking is a challenge in the shopping center but I snagged one right up front. I had the steak burger with soup. The soup was absolutely delicious. I ended up taking half my burger home to enjoy the next day. It was also very good. My friend had the chicken and was pleased with her meal as well. Looks like a popular place for lunch or dinner. On the pricey side but you are getting great food.

Yelp
Peg and I took another couple to PCG for brunch and it was superb! Eric was our server and he made the experience smooth and professional even for a Sunday brunch! The food was consistently good and this is always a go/to spot!! While the room is large there is a sense of intimacy and easy for conversation. A return for either a casual or formal occasion!

Yelp
We only visited for happy hour but it was so good I wanted to give a shout out. First, Max our waiter /bartender was great. He helped us order since it was our first visit and we were so impressed. We ordered the cornbread, quest fundito 1/2 rack of ribs and of course fries...always fries! ALL was worthy of a return visit! Very, very yummy! They pour a great cocktail too. We will return and try dinner soon. When trying a new restaurant we usually try happy hour first. I find if happy hour is done well, dinner usually follows suit... Max was not only helpful and attentive but seemed truly happy to be there. He made us feel welcomed. We will DEFINITELY be returning!
google avatar

Spike S.

Yelp
The food was OK, but the staff were rude. Our party of four was sitting in a booth and we spent around $200. We were wrapping things up after we had been there about two hours and the general manager comes over and asked us to leave because people with reservations were waiting. I looked around and there were several open tables in the dining room. That's the first time I've ever been asked to remove myself from a table in a restaurant. I guess spending the $200 just wasn't enough to stay there more than two hours. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Yelp
This place can be summed up in one word: amazing! I have been here a twice and plan on going here for my upcoming 40th birthday. Every time I have been in here the restaurant is packed, which is always a good sign. Their food and drinks are amazing! My last visit we ordered the eggplant bites appetizer that's thinly sliced eggplant that's battered and fried and topped with piquillo peppers, tomato jam, feta, arugula, a sherry vinaigrette, and a balsamic reduction. It doesn't sound like much but these things were out of this world and I've been craving them ever since I've had them. For dinner I had the vegetable platter. While that may sound boring, it totally isn't. You get a huge plate of delicious veggies like large chunks of meaty squash, potatoes, asparagus, harissa carrots, an arugula salad...it's to die for. They have something for everyone here and being vegetarian, this is right up my alley. They have an assortment of soups, salads, pasta, and meat entrees. Definitely worth a trip to this restaurant. Also, their drinks do not disappoint!

Yelp
This longstanding restaurant has quickly become my favorite spot to get happy hour or dinner since I moved into the area. Soo many great options on their menu. And some great deals on some very generously portioned happy hour dishes. Always A+ service at the bar or a table. So far I've had the green chili pork, eggplant, short ribs, and the pork chop and all of them were cooked to perfection and delicious. And the inside of the restaurant/ bar always has pleasant happy people all around with a few TV's for all the sports fans. Thanks for always making my visits here pleasant ones!

Emma R.

Yelp
This is a delightful local restaurant that was recommended by a long time Phoenix resident. We liked it enough to get there twice during our one week stay in town. The Steakhouse burger and Crispy Eggplant Sandwich were both delicious. We will make this one of our go to restaurants any time we are in town.

Debbi L.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service! Had a burger and the chicken, with the cornbread appetizer. Everything was delicious!

Jim D.

Yelp
The food was amazing. The tortilla soup was great, the plank cedar salmon was delicious. The white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was out of this world. Steven was a great server and very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very elegant!

Emiko K.

Yelp
Our server, Jenny was fantastic and so helpful! Visiting from LA, we were delighted to find Phoenix City Grill. The ambiance is welcoming and the food is lick your plate, delicious! Kudos to the chef. The chicken breast was tender and moist and my son who doesn't normally eat cooked carrots, loved them. The mashed potatoes are on a whole different level of deliciousness! Husband's pork tenderloin was "wait, let me try another bite" yummy. And my chile verde was also yum!

Kim B.

Yelp
We had Jonah as a server. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had great recommendations! He was very attentive to our needs. He confirmed the green chili pork on the appetizer/shareable plates was a good choice. It was amazing! My husband's burger was equally as good. My margarita was so good I had a 2nd. Jonah brought to the table and shook himself! Even better than the 1st! Great place to go for good food, good drinks and relaxing atmosphere. Ask for Jonah!

David F.

Yelp
Fingers crossed, hoping PCG can maintain the standards of the current PCG. Lots of good people there! But too often when a restaurant changes hands it loses its magic. The magic is the secret ingredient. Best of luck to all parties, new and old.
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
I have always had a good experience at PCG BUT was dissapointed yesterday....not because of the food quality but because they brought me something other than what I ordered on the menu. I ordered the halibut with potatoes and veggies and they brought me a salad with halibut. I would have sent it back, but I had to make a play in the afternoon and did not have the time. I should have spoken to the manager but I ate what was put in front of me (because of limited time) and it was delicious. PCG manager - speak to your kitchen staff!! They should know the menu!
google avatar

Michael B.

Yelp
I have been here now several times and the food is very good as is the service and even better is the fact that they have to have the most amazing selection of whiskey - ask for the 4 page list of whiskeys and suggestions. We were there for lunch on Friday and I had the Rojas burger with no bun and my wife had the trout that were on the. Specials of the Day list. Both were quite good. My wife's trout had this amazing corn sauce. Totally yummy.

Yelp
A delicious dining experience for restaurant week 2022! We had reservations at Phoenix City Grille with our friends for four of us on Saturday night. Our table was ready when we got there & service was good throughout our evening. All four of us did the 3 course restaurant week items .. so quite a few thoughts listed below. None of their restaurant week menu items are on their regular menu (yet?), so I was a little hesitant but enjoyed everything I had! Between the four of us, we got all of the appetizer, entree, & dessert options! I personally got the Crispy Cauliflower, Citrus Chile Red Trout, and the Peaches & Cream sundae. Out of the three, the cauliflower was my favorite. It was fried perfectly and the sriracha glaze had a nice balance of sweet, tang, a little spice, and it all paired well with the chimichurri (very minty but it needed that "fresh" element). The red trout dish was solid; the picture I took doesn't do justice to show how much food was on the plate! I thought the fish was cooked well & all the elements on the plate tasted good. And finally the peaches & cream sundae was a nice end to the meal .. I mean who doesn't like some gelato? The peaches were a nice touch for the summer. Thoughts on the other dishes from my dining companions - the corn soup had good flavor & the spinach salad was just ok, nothing to write home about. We actually also ordered one non-restaurant week appetizer which was the Eggplant Bites; they were really tasty with the eggplant, tomato jam, paquillo peppers, feta, and balsamic. I would order these again! Everyone liked the entrees, so I think overall, the surf & turf pappardelle & pork loin were hits. The pork was a big portion and the pasta was filling. If you're a fan of coconut, the Panna Cotta was a good choice, there was nothing left on any of our dessert plates, so it's safe to say you can't go wrong with either dessert choice. Overall, the only critique I really heard was for the old fashioned drink that one of my friends ordered. The blueberry gin drink (forgot the name) & guava margarita were tasty. There were a number of items on their regular menu I was interested in, so I'm looking forward to coming back in the future!

Yelp
Great spot for a last-minute meet up with some friends in the area. REALLY busy on a nice Friday night back in February, but we didn't have that long a wait, and got a good table for our party of five. What a surprisingly adventurous, detailed menu from what appears to be a sort of quiet, unassuming place. Check that menu out ahead of time, if you're like me, because it's HARD to choose from all their tempting dinner offerings!! I had their DELICIOUS crispy eggplant sandwich, with both fries AND soup, and I would have been equally happy with just about anything else on the menu. My friends all were very happy with their choices as well. Great service, never felt rushed in spite of how busy it was, and quite reasonable prices for what we got. If I were a local, this place would definitely be in my gastronomic rotation!! Check it out!!!

Yelp
Place is terrible. The menu is not clear on what is coming with the plate. Ordered the steak and eggs and it was flooded with salsa.... First of all salsa being apart of the plate is ridiculous. The eggs were soaked. I also had a starter of the shrimp cocktail and some of the laziest shrimp appetizers you can get. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Yelp
We used the banquet rooms to celebrate our parents 60th anniversary. The service and food were amazing. Sheldon the onsite manager assisted me when I received last minute RSVPs that exceeded the banquet room capacity. The servers were attentive, efficient and everyone had exactly what they asked for. We had 50 guests with no complaints. The team did a fabulous job. Britnee was our event planner. She did an amazing job and helped us provide a perfect celebration for our parents. Thank you PCG. Yelp
Adore the ambiance, and the food is divine. Weekend brunches are fantastic. Try the eggplant benedict for a superb meal. Quality food, service, and surroundings without the huge price tag! Seafood specials are especially great.

Yelp
Pro tip: have reservations!! We didn't. However, we got lucky and the four of us were able to sit in the bar area at a high top table (which normally I hate, but maybe I'm just getting use to them because this one was A-OK). I had the Ramona Super Food salad (the large). It was delicious! And, yes, I ate it all. I did have shrimp added. I found it rather strange, though, when I asked to add shrimp, I was asked how many. Well, the menu states that you pay $11 to add shrimp, so doesn't the dollar amount dictate how many shrimp you would get? Anyway, I just found this rather strange and said 3? I have no clue if we then paid $11 x 3 or if we paid $11 for 3 and it should have been more? Who knows. Very weird.

Yelp
The quality of the food here is quite fantastic. You can tell that the chef uses fresh ingredients and takes care in developing the menu that they have. The ambience is that of elegant, even though you may come in a casual dress format. It is the kind of place to just sit and enjoy with your friends. Bring that special someone here that you really care about and share in a great bottle of wine and fantastic meal. The décor inside is definitely on the higher scale, and it is a very comfortable setting. The wine list has quite a few offerings that are on the scale from medium to really good. I will come back here time and again. My wife and I enjoy coming here on the holidays, especially Valentine's Day. We both highly recommended and hope that you enjoy your time here. #irishcatv2 #phoenixcitygrille

Yelp
Brittnee Reed help us with our Gender Reveal Party planning. She was awesome to get us a private room and with a private bathroom too! Two tables in the back so we can set up our Mickey/Minnie ears and then the cake. The room was spacious for the 20 of us! No charge for the room, just order off the menu! That is cool! Our server Jocelyn was freak awesome!!!! She took care of all our us with a smile. She was so wonderful, we offered her and the some of the staff our cake. They made our day! I got the rose lane chicken and it was very very good. I am surprised all the orders came over pretty much at the same time and all the food was HOT!

Yelp
Four of us went for dinner last week Two ordered skirt steak and loved it. I ordered the pork green chili appetizer as my entree, and there was plenty of great tasting food for a meal. We had the skillet cornbread as an appetizer. It was good, but a little sweet with the savory would have been better to my palate. Great food and reasonable prices

Yelp
I watched a PBS show called "Check Please, Arizona" recently where a roundtable discusses restaurants that they have visited. All four of the people raved about this place so I decided to give it a shot. My husband and myself met another couple on a Sunday afternoon at 2 PM. We did not have reservations and although it was pretty busy, we did get seated right away. I had the grapefruit basil martini that was outstanding. I also had the brussels sprout hash as I am on a low-carb diet. They were both fantastic ! My husband had a burger that he said was very good, my friend had the small order of short ribs that came with potatoes and a small side of the brussel sprout hash and her husband had a breakfast off the brunch menu. We were all completely impressed. My only complaint, and it's not enough to remove a star, is our service and our servers were a little on the slow side. It was Sunday afternoon and we weren't in any hurry so again, it's not worth removing a star for. I highly recommend this place!
