Pizza Master Chris Bianco Now Baking Flatbreads in Downtown LA’s Manufactory | Eater LA

"At the U-shaped marble bar in the marketplace I noticed wine pours by the ounce alongside a tight selection of tinned seafood conservas and Chris Bianco’s non-pizza 'flatbreads' — elongated sauced-and-cheesed dishes called 'flatbreads' to reflect the Bianco–Robertson collaboration rather than Bianco’s Phoenix pizzas. The marketplace has its own menu and wine bar, plus a robust takeaway area for pastries, sandwiches, salads and full loaves, all surrounded by shelves of products like Sqirl jam, tea towels, and aprons." - Farley Elliott

I placed an order with the owner's daughter at the swap meet located at 55th Avenue and Bethany Home in Glendale, and they instructed me to pick it up the order when it’s ready at the Phoenix marketplace, specifically the car accessories store near the food truck while entering the establishment on 67th Avenue and Thomas. I placed the order on December 28, 2025, and who assured me that the order would be ready on Saturday, Jan 10,2026 . Upon arrival, however, the item was not available, apparently and they attempted to provide a substitute but was not close to what i order. I requested a refund, which they claimed was unavailable, suggesting that I return to the original location. Due to the inconvenience, I declined and instead contacted the number listed on the receipt. The individual who answered, her husband became confrontational and ultimately refused just started saying excuses like they lost my order slip and that why it was not ready and that the daughter didn’t know where she place the order slips and that why they didn’t have the order in their hands all excuses in the book but no solutions not even a sorry let me get your order to you right now and just told me to leave the premises without providing a resolution. Consequently, I will not be conducting business with them again and would advise others against doing so. I feel bamboozled they didn’t want to give me the correct item or my money back they are a scam why would I want the incorrect item as soon as I said that’s not what I want she got delulu and scream at me to get out why would I want an item I didn’t asks for I expect more from a family business The daughter created the order slip and informed me that we would be picking up the order with her mother, and her father was the one who assured me that the order would be ready on Saturday; jan 10,2026 I called twice before going and each time they said they was working on the order until he said it was ready on Saturday however, there was no communication or accountability. The customer service was terrible Screaming at me with my baby in my arms to get out instead of refunding me is crazy do BETTER you thieves!

Fun to walk around and explore. All kinds of shops to see. Food, santeria, clothes, shoes, decorations, and candy. There was a circus in the parking lot.

The space was repetitious. Some beautiful dresses though. Mainly Spanish speaking workers, most of which could not answer my questions due to the language barrier.

Google
Clean stores but really focused on quiencillera items with cell phone repair thrown in. If you are throwing a party then this is your place.

Winter time there seems to not be as many vendors. It was a fun stop if you have never been.

Google
It was okay I only found one African shop ,this is definitely the place for Hispanics to shop in..But I did get my mango with chamoy

It's free to enter, they have a lot of the same thing. They need more variety in what the vendors are selling. Mostly shoes & western clothes. The best part the huge selection of toddler girl sandals. Loved everyone of the styles, there was so many. I will definitely be back to buy my daughter as many shoes as I can only because you can't buy the style at Walmart, Target, Ross or anywhere else. The shoes are too cute.

Yelp
The business owners are an older couple and I don't really post reviews but I felt the need to post. The older man's name is Pilar and he has to worst and unprofessional customer service. The dresses were ordered with plenty of time in case there was a need for alterations. We had gone to get measured and still the dresses did not fit. The man threatened to sale our dresses if we didn't pay them on time even though they were not ready. 2/5 dresses where not ready until the day before our Quinceneraz the amount of stress this man put us through. He would lie and said he called, lie about the dates and times of when the dresses would supposedly be ready and then avoid answering my calls. It wasn't until I used a phone number he didn't recognize or me going in person to get updates.

Yelp
When I pulled in I was a bit nervous, just based on the area being a bit rundown. Once inside, I was greeted by the nicest of people. I was looking for cowboys boots and there were plenty to choose from:) I even came back two more times to buy additional cowboy boots and some cute western wear for a friends birthday.

Yelp
Cool spot. Lots of items and sparkly things. Especially things related to a quinceñera. There's also a yummy restaurant in the back.

Yelp
Horrible i came here trying to find a big poofy dress for my niece and the ladies here made us feel so uncomfortable.

Yelp
I'd pass unless you're looking for a sparkly dress for your daughter. I have no plans of ever going back.

Yelp
There's a toy place right in a corner owned by a Korean guy who has big nasty mouth .. He doesn't have any respect for people..just because a kid touched one of his toys he went crazy and started calling the kid and the mom all kind of bad words in English and Spanish ... That was so sad cause after all that happened the Korean guy called security and they were on his side...what's wrong with people..?..we talked with management and this is what they said " we know this Korean guy from about 13 years he's always been this way, we complained with Phoenix marketplace owner and seems like as longest he pay for his rent no one will do anything about it"...sad ...only thing we can't do about it is stop going to the place till they care about the costumers...

Yelp
Umm. They have some pretty good party dresses. Like for sweet 16. But when it somes to their food they don't even have it available half the time. So I walked off
