"For a steaming, aromatic bowl of pho, there’s no better Duluth staple than Phoholic. Beef; chicken; shrimp; or a medley of brisket, tripe, and meatballs — all are great bets, as is the vegetarian option. But a worthy alternative is Phoholic’s curry chicken, stewed with potatoes and sweet onions. Round out the meal with a sweet Vietnamese coffee." - Justine Jones, Alex Lodner

I know why this place is busy. It’s a small shop and parking is terrible, but that bowl of pho is absolutely a dream. The broth was flavorful and salted to perfection. I barely added any extra condiments. This was the most perfect bowl I’ve had in a long time. Go support this mom and pop shop. They are doing something right. Eager to see their next location!

Google
Special pho #10 with marrow bone-deep, aromatic broth with great spice profile. Vegetarian spring roles were fresh, and peanut sauce was perfect heat and spice level. Vietnamese coffee very good.

Google
Some of the best food we have ever had. Service was awesome, someone got something mixed up in the kitchen and one of our dishes was taking longer than the other so they came and informed us as well as gave us a different dish to try while we waited. Nice small setting, quick service, huge portions for the price and everything was excellent! Will definitely be back!

Google
First time here and the server gave me top choices. She also showed me exactly how to make the pho sauce, which I had no idea about. The serving sizes are large, and the prices were very affordable. Spring rolls with the peanut sauce - amazing! I loved my pho and the curry chicken. My husband enjoyed his pad tai! We took boxes to go for lunch the next day

Google
We stop by for lunch just as when they open and within 30 mins the whole place was full! The price are on the higher side compare to the pho restaurants in Twin Cities but I was pleasantly surprised the portion size and the ingredients they used in their dish was definitely worth the extra money. My daughter loves undon and get undon bowl was packed with good quality seafood. And their mango smoothie bubble drink was also delicious. Too bad we don't have any room for dessert 😂

Google
We’re from the Twin Cities, but enjoy stopping here for fantastic Vietnamese food. The soups, whether pho or mi hoanh thanh, is all about the flavorful broths at Phoholic. Just a great place to stop and eat great Vietnamese food. Great flavor and not overly seasoned food.

Google
It was a super cute place! We loved everything we ordered from pho to the yummy bahn mi sandwich. Husband said it was mediocre but for the quality, it was great. He's used to more of a robust flavor with au jus we can get out here in St.Paul. Overall, it was a wonderful place to grab authentic Vietnamese food.

Google
A must try if you are in the area! My family and i are from the city and visited Duluth for Bentleyville. On our way back home we decided to try some Pho from Duluth. They did not disappoint! The broth was rich in flavor and not oily and plenty of meat. Probably top 5 pho’s i have had in my life, and I’ve tried a lot of pho.

Ren L.

Yelp
Food - 5/5 . Great portion sizes. Really good taste to the pho and they have really fresh vegetables. Drinks were delicious too. Great value for food. Service - 5/5. Really nice older ladies absolutely killed it with the delicious food. And then the younger guys doing orders and bussing tables did a great job. Ambiance - 4/5. Family dining establishment. Really clean. A little loud and very busy. Truthfully, this place is so good they could probably size up to a bigger dining hall.

Shannon A.

Yelp
I'm excited to try this place, but the closing time is a lie. It says they close at 9, but when we came in at 8:35, they refused to seat us. This is highly unprofessional and deceptive. The proper closing time to list "Last Seating". Also, there is no handicap parking spot. Someday I'll come back, but this was a disaster that could have been avoided by some professionalism.

David G.

Yelp
You know, you learn a lot when you travel. Being an obsession of mine, food is something that has been part of that learning process for me. Sometimes it's the obvious. The best key lime pie I've ever had was in Key West. The best cherry pie I've ever had was in Traverse City. But, strangely enough, the best BBQ I've ever had was in a place called Victor, Idaho. The best clam chowder I ever had was in a dump in Westport, Washington State. And the best pho I've ever had was not in California or Texas but in a tiny hole in the wall restaurant crammed uncomfortably close to a car wash in Duluth, Minnesota. Maybe it was because I hadn't had pho in a while. Maybe it was because it was a cold, 55 degree, rainy day in June. But the broth in this pho is so perfect you worry you're gonna ruin it when you add hoisin and sriracha. "Pho"nominal.

Margaux C.

Yelp
Almost gave it a 1 star. Dingy looking restaurant and the pho broth was terrible. Chicken in my pho was dry. Looks like they make their smoothies out of chemical powder as well. Really disappointing after having read all the great reviews. Recommend to avoid and just go home and cook!

Stephen B.

Yelp
Visiting my hometown from the west coast and surprised to find a pho spot! Highly recommend for anyone who likes Vietnamese food. Friendly staff, good vibe, and great food.

CJ D.

Yelp
Battling congestion and a barrage of coughs, PhoHolic accepted my inaugural dinner in Duluth. The city? It feels like Cincinnati barring the absence of Skyline. My friend Katrina parked next to a bronzed Benz that held a far too nice bike for how much rust this car had accumulated. As we entered it was evident that the food and prices wouldn't disappoint - reason being the fonts on display. Any restaurant that has primary signage of differing fonts is clearly putting efforts elsewhere. Bob Ross, neon signs, and Macklemore touted the eclectic nature of this establishment. Our order consisted of Banh Mi and Chicken Pho. To prevent sickness, I ate the sando which was sauced beyond comprehension. This is a good thing, a very very good thing. Pho was a monumental portion, certainly enough to split unless you're trying to prove a point of appetite or something. Personally, I'd try something of the non-poultry family but maybe I'm just a chewy chicken hater. After using 12 napkins to clean up my faucet nose and crumbed lips, we departed for sub $30 and ample fridge snacks. CJ would visit again (to both Duluth and PhoHolic)!

Golden R.

Yelp
Not more than 6 months after my previous review, they made several staff changes for the better, and even the food has somehow improved over the last year. I can never go without the spring rolls and the peanut sauce is the most yummy I've ever tasted. The special fried rice is my go-to, and the Vietnamese coffee is delicious.

Deborah C.

Yelp
Finding this gem was a pleasant surprise on my trip to Duluth! My partner and I were craving Vietnamese food and had to stop by. I wasn't too hungry, so I only ordered the spring rolls and a Thai milk tea. The spring rolls were great, and the dipping sauce was a little bit spicy, which I enjoyed. We came on a Saturday around 2pm, and even then it got pretty packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait for a table, but we had snagged the last available table at that point.

Kay K.

Yelp
You can tell this place is a local favorite when the parking lot is full, there's a line at the door, it's a full restaurant and staff are hustling. Food is fast and very fresh - ample portions for the price and full of flavor. The restaurant could use better outdoor lighting though - especially at night it can be really easy to miss because the exterior looks more like a bar or liquor store. Parking is tight as well, it's a small lot.

Markus G.

Yelp
Okay, let me start by saying parking is extremely challenging It's so tight it's almost an accident waiting to happen. When we walked in we were sat and greeted by a woman who gave us all water and said our server would be with us shortly. The server came a young man and he asked what we wanted to drink, so my family member both ordered their drinks and for our appetizers, we ordered the fish meatball skewers and shrimp spring rolls. Things started to take a turn for the worse when I asked my server if they had lemonade, and he said no. I then asked if they had bottles of water and our server said no. Instead of telling me what they had to offer since this was my first visit he just looked at me. So I kindly asked for the menu again so I could see what I wanted to drink. So we placed our orders and I ordered the chicken curry with shrimp, and my girlfriend ordered the Chicken Pho with Shrimp. And for my drink, I ordered the strawberry smoothie with no boba I told our server I didn't want any gellies in my drink. The food came out the appetizers were mediocre and the spring rolls while good were very small compared to many other Asian restaurants I've been to. The spring rolls looked like they should have been on a kid's menu. The chicken curry would have been a lot more enjoyable had it not been for the huge pieces of chicken in my bowl. I had to try to cut the chicken and not spill anything on me which was a challenge. Also, we had to constantly ask another server for things and she would bring them and tell our server, not sure if he was new but the service was subpar at best. I don't see myself returning here, too many issues.

Yelp
My wife and I have had the pleasure of visiting Phoholic on multiple occasions, and without a doubt, it is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the twin ports region. Our experiences have been nothing short of exceptional, and we will continue to be loyal patrons in the future. To start off our culinary journey, we opted for the vegetable spring rolls. The highlight of this appetizer is undoubtedly the peanut dipping sauce. Bursting with flavor, it strikes the perfect balance between sweetness and a subtle kick. Each bite of the spring rolls dipped in this delightful sauce was a harmonious symphony of taste. As for our main dishes, my wife decided to indulge in the hot stone filet minion Pho. This unique dish arrives in separate components. The raw filet minion is presented on a separate plate, alongside noodles and a delectable fry bread. The interactive aspect of this dish allows you to add the filet minion slowly to the hot soup, cooking it to your desired level of perfection. My wife was thoroughly impressed and thoroughly enjoyed her culinary adventure. I, on the other hand, chose the shrimp Pho. The broth, a cornerstone of any Pho dish, was nothing short of perfection. Rich, aromatic, and packed with depth, it served as the ideal base for the generous portion of succulent shrimp that adorned the dish. Every spoonful was a delightful exploration of flavors that left me craving for more. One aspect that cannot be overlooked is the impeccable service we received from our servers. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was memorable. The cleanliness of the bathrooms and the restaurant as a whole further added to the overall positive ambiance. While some may have mentioned concerns about the parking situation, we found that, with proper driving skills, it posed no significant challenge. Thus, we highly recommend Phoholic as a dining destination that promises an extraordinary Vietnamese culinary experience. In conclusion, Phoholic stands out as a true gem in the twin ports region. From the mouthwatering vegetable spring rolls with their irresistible peanut dipping sauce to the unique hot stone filet minion Pho and the shrimp Pho boasting a flavorful broth, every dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs. Combine this with attentive service and a pristine dining environment, and Phoholic becomes a must-visit destination for all food enthusiasts.

Yelp
My husband, 11-year-old daughter and our service dog here three times this week. My daughter now wants to move to Duluth from California just because of this restaurant. She was very happy with her chicken pho and loved the fried wings. Prices are so much lower compared to what they charge in California for this kind of food. It's not super cheap, but definitely cheaper, around $13 for a Pho and $15 for main dishes. They can make anything vegetarian, even though it's not on the menu. Just ask! We tried their vegetarian Bonnie every time, and it was good With some mail on French bread and toffee. I liked the variety of appetizers on the menu. I haven't ever tried buns with egg and pork before. I think it was a whole boiled egg baked into a bun. I had it with different sauces. They have at the table and it was really yummy. we asked them to make their curry dish vegetarian, they complied. It was very good and hardy, I just wish they'd go easy on the onions, the were too many of those and they were pretty much raw which I think that's how it's supposed to be, but it was hard on, my palette. The vegetable potstickers were incredibly tasty. They have the vegetable filling with whole corn, and our deep fried with very good sauce on the side. My daughter really liked her Jasmine Boba tea as well. All in all, it was a great meal after a dip in Lake Superior. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Melinda F.

Yelp
Country music? interesting choice. If you're used to MPLS Vietnamese food you will be disappointed . Food was sub par. Missing that unami. The shrimp on my daughter pad Thai looked pretty good but my ramen was just meh and her pad Thai was meh. We both had to add many sauces to help the food have enough flavor to taste good. At least they provided the sauces on the table. Service was nice, but not trained. Plates left on the table, No water refill, on their phone. App + entree at the same time. Price point high for the experience received.

Jay B.

Yelp
Great food. Incredibly fast. Fantastic! Tofu Bahn Me and vermicelli both were best ever. Bubble tea is pretty good too!

Maïa S.

Yelp
It's not like PhoHolic needs a review from me, considering it is constantly packed at all hours with a wait of 30 minutes minimum. Nonetheless, it would be remiss if I did not call out this restaurant as being the one place we keep coming back to time and time again, each time we go up north. The pho of course is phenomenal, with the broth being the standout. The waitress told us that they boil the beef bones for hours and hours to get the signature flavor. But today I would like to say that the Bahn Mi is the unequivocal hidden treasure of this spot. Juicy pork, fresh bread, tangy pickles. It is outstanding. The restaurant itself is quaint and roadside, and there is nothing missing.

MaryBeth B.

Yelp
OMG! This is some of the best pho I've ever had. I just returned from Thailand and Cambodia, where I had plenty of pho. This topped all of those I tried. The broth was deep with flavor but was complimented by the bean sprouts, cilantro, and noodles. It is a huge portion that will make a second meal easily. I wish I had found this place when I first arrived in Duluth. My next trip can't come soon enough!

Steven K.

Yelp
Every expectation of great food and service. A class act! A very clean and inviting atmosphere with a wonderful menus.

Natalie G.

Yelp
Amazing food and really great service, but often really busy and the parking lot is very small and is often crowded because this is a very busy establishment. I've gone here multiple times and it has never been slow or empty. The pork buns are delicious and fluffy and they always come out steaming, the pad Thai is good but often give a huge portion for an amazing price, the teriyaki chicken is delicious and the egg is always cooked a perfect sunny side up, the rice was a little dry but still hot and delicious. The wontons are wonderful and delicious and they seem to be dusted with a little sugar and are fried to perfection. The ramen is delicious and the broth is nice and hearty, something you would want when you're sick and missing home. The Vietnamese coffee is good but not sweet at all and very strong. Overall a great experience and I love coming here!

Jessica G.

Yelp
Delicious food and friendly staff. Better than much of the pho I've had in California. Parking is a little hectic and we had to wait for a table, but it was well worth it. Will definitely be back!

Cam M.

Yelp
A bowl of pho from PhoHolic is the best comfort food. It is delicious and a great add to the Twin Ports restaurant scene. I have been here several times and have always had a stellar experience.

Elijah W.

Yelp
The food here is very good and authentic tasting. They have several different options when it comes to pho like oxtail and ribs. There is not much seating which is disappointing because it is the only Vietnamese spot in Duluth. That being said it would definitely be worth the wait.

Mike P.

Yelp
Wow, as a SoCal transplant that has also been to Vietnam, I was a bit weary when I saw good reviews about this spot in Duluth. One visit is all I needed to say this place really is legit and I will of course be back. Service was quick and the food was excellent. Lots of flavor in the broth and just what Northern Minnesotans need during those extended winter months. Decor was good and thankfully we didn't have to wait for a seat but I can see how the seating could be a concern when there is a lot of people. Parking was not great and there are some monster potholes on the side of the building, those with big rusted Minnesota trucks need not worry. Absolutely worth a stop for some good, authentic Vietnamese pho

Julien J.

Yelp
Even having pho many times in different restaurants, sometimes those restaurants only specialize in a couple of dishes. Not the case here, I of course got the pho but since they opened I have moved onto so many of their specials, salads, appetizers and it's all great food. It truly is a great thing to have their food. The staff are always incredible and attending even when they are busy. They are awesome and will always enjoy going there.

Jennifer G.

Yelp
I stop here almost every time I'm in Duluth. Send my friends. Food is delicious, service is great

Rachel M.

Yelp
We went there for lunch after visiting Duluth after a doctors appointment. I chose this restaurant after all the high reviews from yelp. We also love Pho soup. The parking was very difficult as limited spaces. But, it was a good sign as the place was busy even during non peak hours. The food was very generous in portion size and the pho soup had great flavor. The crab rangoons were also good. The spring rolls were not so good. The server was friendly and staff was attentive. Unfortunately, all three of us became sick about 2-3 hours after eating there. And when we used the restroom before leaving I noticed it appeared dirty.

Roman K.

Yelp
Great food, service is friendly and quick. This place will grow, I'm sure, to a giant restaurant! Good job!

Ying L.

Yelp
Wow! We can believe the land of 10,000 lakes offers better Pho than California! The service is fantastic, food selection is excellent and the quality and quantity is shocking good.

Jessie G.

Yelp
Ummm. It was ok, but I won't be back. Maybe my expectations were just too high. I ordered the veggie spring rolls and Pho with Chicken. The spring rolls were either premade or they were made with veggies that weren't quite chilled enough for my liking, and the cabbage had started to get a little rusty along the edges. I did try them and the sauce that they served with them was good. I just wasn't able to enjoy them as much as I'd hoped due to how unappetizing they looked. Also, I am down with table condiments, but only if they don't look absolutely gross. Staff has to stay on top of it. There were two sauce jars and one had chili oil/crisp in it. The lid and jar was just dirty and when I stirred it, I pulled up what looked like a hair. It might not have been but I wasn't going to risk it. The second jar was a mystery bc the lid was sticky/stuck to the jar and I didn't want to try that hard to open it bc it would've required a full palm grip and I didn't really want to get my hands all sticky. For the record, one of the servers borrowed my caddy of condiments and they didn't successfully get jar #2 open either. And they used the chili oil and I noticed that they had to wipe down their hands after handling that jar. So the staff is aware of. The Pho was only okay in my opinion. Maybe my enjoyment was tainted by my sour experience with the spring rolls and dirty sauce jars, but it just didn't have the deep, umami flavor I was hoping for. It tasted like a basic Asian version (Thai basil, lemongrass, cilantro, and lime) on chicken noodle soup, which was ok. But I just don't love American chicken noodle soup all that much. And I think I've had really delicious chicken pho before. With all that being said, the place was busy and it seems to have a following so maybe I'm just nitpicking. I did not mention this to anyone while I was there bc it just didn't seem like anything I was going to complain about would've come as a surprise and I was just going to come off as a needy patron in a pool full of locals who really enjoy the place. I am giving 2 stars bc the service was friendly enough and it was quick. I did get into Duluth a little late, so I wasn't wanting to stay out late for dinner.

Steven H.

Yelp
Outstanding Bun (noodles) and Spring rolls! Service was perfect Definitely worth the stop Limited dine-in parking.

Madina Z.

Yelp
I would say it is Duluth good place for Pho. We have read an article that this place is the best in Minnesota for pho, but I do not agree. The broth is delicious but the sliced beef was chewy.

Jim B.

Yelp
5th time here - awesome as always! Three of us shared 2 orders of Shrimp/Pork Spring Rolls. Really good. My wife ordered the #26 - Curry Noodles with Chicken. Really tasty. I changed from my usual Shrimp Pho to a #27 - Shrimp Wonton with Pork soup. Also really good. Our son ordered the Beef Pho and enjoyed it. Not much more to say. The food and the service as always was great. Note that parking is horrible. We ended up across the street and parked on a side street (we have a big truck).

Lynne C.

Yelp
We just wrapped up our story time at the Duluth depot and in need of some warmth so this was the perfect little joint. Much smaller than I was guess seeing the constant line at the door but provides a warm and cozy feeling to all guests. The service was truly unmatched and the food was equally incredible. We ordered an array of pho, vermicelli noodle dishes and rice bowls. All were legitimate perfection and our server was always checking in, seeing how we were enjoying our food, and quick with anything we asked for. Really lovely experience and would highly recommend if you make it up the the Minnesota tundra!

Chassidie L.

Yelp
BIG BOWLS OF AUTHENTIC AND YUMMY PHO. If you're looking to fix your pho cravings or looking for a warm meal in the Minnesota winter, this is the spot for you. Growing up Asian in Southern California I was surrounded by tons of great pho places. But this one might just have to be one of the TOP. Who new a small town in Minnesota would serve up some delicious pho! It was sooo soo good and flavorful. My family and I were only here for a weekend and came here twice. We got the pho tai ($12.50) and bun bo hue ($13) and they were delicious. My mom said it is the best pho and bun bo hue she has ever had (and that says a lot). Plus the portion sizes are huge! I wish I lived closer to this place because I would go all the time. The service was fast, the workers were great, and the food was delicious.

Tammy W.

Yelp
We were in town for Grandmas Marathon and in need of some food on Saturday evening. It got pretty cold (40's) at that point and Pho sounded like it would hit the spot. So happy we tried this place out because it's some of the best pho we've ever had. We had spring rolls and crab cheese Rangoon for apps. Both great. Crab cheese Rangoon can be hit or miss and this was definitely a hit. We both got the beef pho. Absolutely delicious and a HUGE serving - we both took home some and had it for breakfast the next day before leaving town. Service was quick and friendly. Be prepared for a wait if coming at a peak time. Highly recommend this place if in Duluth!!

Jeff R.

Yelp
Excellent food, fast service, small restaurant, but they do a great job of getting you in and seated. The food is excellent. The flavors are great. And they will make it spicy just the way you like it. Definitely will be back to eat again.

Nicole B.

Yelp
I got the make your own Pho with brisket, meatballs, and rare beef. I added extra mushrooms. Also the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, pork, and peanut sauce. Anything was delicious!

Mike W.

Yelp
Hello I'm hoping give you some feedback. I'm not sure if you have new person in the kitchen or change the menu but you should go back to the way it was little over a month ago.. The sauce for the spring rolls is horrible the texture and flavor is not good please change it back or give the option to have the original sauce Additionally this is the second time we didn't get any noodles with one of our pho combination. Each time we have done a take out order We love your place but please go back the way it used to be

Monty F.

Yelp
This is by far the best Vietnamese food in Minnesota, which given the Viet/Lao/Hmong/Khmer diaspora in MN means the best in the country. Seems like a grand statement but it's simply true. It's the broth, and the cheerful staff, and the awesomeness in every dish. I'm a Bun Bo Hue freak and theirs is amazing, but the Curry Chicken is quite possibly the best thing I have ever eaten. The parking is a little rough and you might have to wait for a table which seems right for food this good.

Roger T.

Yelp
Been here twice. The first time I had the Beef Pho. Second time I had the Vermicelli Special. Both were fantastic. The Pho with Sliced Beef ($12.50), gives you generous amounts of pieces of sliced beef. I thought it wouldn't come with enough beef so I made the mistake of ordering extra. I almost did not finish my meal. The broth and noodles were very good. Hits the spot on these cold winter nights in Duluth. The Vermicelli Special Noodle Salad ($13.50), comes with grilled pork, shrimp, and pork meatballs. Now this is one complete meal with all that meat you get. I mean you got your noodles, cilantro, chopped lettuce, pickled carrots, and daikon. It's like you get a different flavor with every bite from your fork (I don't do chopsticks because you can only pick up so much compared to a fork). As a bonus, there is a separate menu for Bubble Tea. So if you are into boba, there is your dessert option. To me its ok. The boba is a bit hard and I have had better at some other places but that's not why I came here. Service both times were on point. When you pay you go up to the front counter. Their to go service is fantastic as evidenced by all the people showing up and their orders were already waiting for them. In closing, if I lived in Duluth, this would not only be my usual spot I would frequent, but I would tell everybody about it. When a place is really good, I tend to naturally bring up during any conversation. It's so good that I want you to say the next two phrases in your head. "It's sofa king good!" "It's so pho king good!" Yelp 2022 Review #3 854 overall

Maureen M.

Yelp
I love their fried rice! I think it's the best in town...even better than mine. The only issue I have about Phoholic is its location...parking is an adventure, not always fun! I always do take-out as the space is small and lacking ambiance.

Maggie L.

Yelp
Overall: 5/5 Taste: 4.8/5 Value: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Speed: 4.8/5 Craving some piping hot pho after a cold day in Duluth? Phoholic is the real deal. As a NYC asian who eats pho on the regular, I have pretty high standards for pho. This place does not disappoint. The signature pho had large portions with a good variety of different cuts of meat. The soup was delicious and authentic, and the meats were melt in your mouth delicious. The bun thit nuong was flavorful with a pretty good ratio of meat to noodle, and the pickled radishes were perfect. If I lived in Duluth this would be my go to place. Can't recommend it enough.

Reginald N.

Yelp
New to the city of Duluth since February 2023 started going to alcoholic taste of Vietnamese restaurant I only got one dish once twice a day 3 to 4 times a week fried rice and fried vegetables no meat of any kind no seafood of any kind and no eggs especially last time I got the meal from them same meal in July 2023 on the road eating bit into a nasty chunk of egg and egg shell cooked in the in the rice nasty chunk bit into it and was it was filed so I knew they were putting something in my food and I don't know how long so I say the African Americans do not go to that restaurant they're putting stuff in our food it's file it's terrible

Paige M.

Yelp
This is our go to spot in town. I'm a big vermicelli fan and have eaten it all over the country - this is my favorite! The grilled pork is really marinated and fresh tasting. Portions are huge! I also an egg roll to make it extra tasty. But the absolute must try is the lime marinated beef salad appetizer. There's no description on the menu, but we tried it on a whim and OH MY GAWD it is insane. Perfect amount of spice and salty citrusy with a hint of sweet. It's served with what I believe are prawn crackers - these delicious puffy, crunchy crackers (they don't taste like prawn!) that crackle when you top them with the salad, which is kinda fun. It feels like a dish that would be the must-have highlight at an upscale fusion restaurant! My mouth is watering now... It's not a huge space and gets pretty busy, but the staff is really nice and helpful. Definitely a gem!

Was really great. The server actually told me a lot about the dish and where it came from and how it was named after a city he used to live in. I sat outside and of course it's on central entrance but I didn't mind overall I had a good time and the service was so good.

Yelp
Wow! The oxtail Pho is amazing. One of the best I've ever tried. This is coming from someone who has tried Pho at many restaurants in LA and SF.

Yelp
The food was so delicious and the portions massive! I would most likely call for takeout next time I'm in Duluth as the place was way too busy for the number of servers they had. Not my server's fault so I was sure to tip him very well. If I have one negative, please turn off at least half of the lights! The atmosphere felt like a low-rent/quality cafeteria which I know sounds harsh. Otherwise, go get this food!

Yelp
Hue Style Noodle Soup............ 14.95 Spicy noodle soup with beef, pork hock, shrimp paste, pork paste, lemongrass, served with a side of lime, bean sprouts, and cilantro. Delicious with so many protein in the bowl. Had to add a little extra fish sauce. Noodle & Meat portion was great . Would definitely eat it again. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Parking: 0/10

Yelp
A friend and I were driving to the North Shore from Minneapolis and wanted something that wasn't on London Road or Canal Park. This was only a couple of miles off our route, and we're so glad we tried it! We shared fresh spring rolls and beef/lime salad. Both very good; flavorful dipping sauce with lots of chopped peanuts was a nice contrast to the super-fresh spring rolls. Beef/lime salad was emphatically flavorful and pretty spicy. We're glad we tried it. Then came the beef short rib rice plate, which we shared. Huge portion; we were full before we finished it but we just kept going because it tasted so great. The beef was beyond delicious and that runny-yolked egg atop the rice was just irresistible. I would have loved to try a bubble tea or Vietnamese coffee to finish but simply didn't have room for it! Friendly service, good prices, delicious food. Can't beat it.

Yelp
I read the reviews of PhoHolic with an open, but skeptical heart. I just moved from Chicago, home of some pretty authentic Asian cuisine. PhoHolic exceeded my wildest expectations! The Pho is what many people will come for, but I tried their Special Noodle salad today and it knocked my socks off (the Pho on the first go-around was phenomenal as well)! There was pork meatballs, spring rolls, and a delight of vegetables with cold noodles. Definitely worth trying! Also had the pork spring rolls on both occasions. To die for! So crispy, and instead of the cloying Mae Ploy sauce that usually comes standard at other Vietnamese restaurants, they actually make homemade dipping sauce that is sweet and with a hint of bite that perfectly compliments the fried offerings. If you haven't checked this place out yet, get on it! It's that good.
