Yeah you HAVE to see this place. Wow, everything. plan a couple hours to see it all. Clothes, jewelry, hats, souvenirs, prepared food, flowers, live and gigantic sea food in swimming tubs, (look at those monster blue prawns) and even stacks of counterfeit cash from any country. Even grandma dressed like she's fifteen. Fun!

So many sights and smells! We had a great time exploring the market and as tourists we were told that we are honoured guests. We saw some security guards and one took a quick photo of me/us as I came off the tour bus. Maybe he had to prove he went to work today 😅 I was surprised when I was greeted in English by a woman sewing at her fabric booth. She asked where I was from and when I said Canada she asked if I spoke French or English because she speaks a little of both.

It's a local market. It has the freshest food, vegetables, and seafood around. It’s a great place to find everything you need.

Central market in Sihanoukville, possible to buy everything what you want – fruits, meat, fish, seafood, clothes. Of course better come from morning

They have everything- I mean everything in this market- but the smell of fish and durian could be very overwhelming.

Well you can immerse yourself in the mayhem of Cambodia daily life. We managed about 50minutes wandering around here. Lots to see , hear but more often , smell ! I’d be very wary buying , you have to have a price in mind and say with it a half or a third of the price stall holders kick off with ! We found quite a few money exchange kiosks around local streets nearby and they were good rates If you want to get a feel of everyday life give this a visit . Be aware and be on your toes and you should be OK

Exploring Phsar Leu Market – A Seafood Paradise in Sihanoukville 🦐🦀 Today, I visited Phsar Leu Market, the most famous seafood market in Sihanoukville. My first impression was that it’s large, bustling, and offers an incredible variety – from shrimp, crabs, and squid to freshly caught ocean fish. The seafood here is extremely fresh, reasonably priced, and open to friendly bargaining. One of the best things is that you can buy fresh seafood at the market and have nearby food stalls cook it for you just the way you like – whether steamed, grilled, stir-fried with tamarind, or served in a bubbling hotpot. Enjoying seafood that’s freshly bought and cooked on the spot is truly an amazing experience. Beyond seafood, the market also offers tropical fruits, vegetables, spices, and mouthwatering Khmer street food. The lively atmosphere and the warm hospitality of the vendors make shopping here even more enjoyable. 📍If you’re a seafood lover and want to experience the local market culture in Sihanoukville, Phsar Leu Market is absolutely a must-visit
