Used to be one of the best Indian restaurant around here. They seem to have completely given up. Maybe it's the second generation who has to taken over, they seem to be genuinely upset to receive a call or a customer walk in. The food quality has slid down. The last time I went in there they did not have forks. I had ordered a seekh kebab and when I requested for one the owner said they don't have forks and anyway I will eat the naans with my hands so why do I need a fork!!! Poor restaurant cleanliness, food quality sliding down and one of the rudest owner family - can't recommend this to anyone anymore.

Food not authentic like expected. The quality definitely has gone down overtime. Nothing unique about service since it is self serve place. But we expected hospitality. Environmental okay. Definitely need improvement if they want to stay in business for long time.

My husband and I were visiting from Toronto today! We had the chole bhature & Alloo naan! Absolutely delicious! We thought it wasn’t going to be good but it was amazing! Customer Service here was great - we didn’t feel anything like the reviews written below. Great Food - Great Service!

Google
This food is okay, it's good for a quick eat but takes awhile to got in. The food is average, I would rather go buffet or other area but this is convenient to where I am at. The decor and atmosphere is average too. I would eat here if you want lunch or just some Indian food but go elsewhere if you want higher quality and a better atmosphere. More casual type.

I was craving for Indian food and heard they serve Thali, so I tried giving it a shot. The food is good, is all I can say. I've definitely had better Indian food in the same area. The quantity was good for the price I paid, but it felt like a compromise on taste. It was mediocre, I'm not by any means saying it was bad, it was okay, and I wish it was served a little warmer than what I get. The service wasn't great, it was mediocre as well. I wouldn't have cared if the food tasted great.

Google
Good place to have a quick Indian bite. Affordable items on the list which shows on the quantity of food on plate but tastes really good for the money. They close dine area 30 mins before their closing time, so if you're running late, plan on taking your food home.

Google
Some of the best Indian food in metro Detroit. The Tandoori chicken is incredible. The dishes are well spiced and beautifully flavored.

Google
This place has pretty good Indian food at decent prices. Their thali option (as shown in this pic) is a pretty good deal. It comes with rice, naan, 3 small dishes of your choice, a small salad, yogurt, achaar and a small dessert. I believe it was around $10 and is a pretty filling meal, probably could share it with someone if you're not starving. This definitely isn't a fancy place, small and casual. Worth a shot given the price.

Nick B.

Yelp
Got the Thali menu and the chicken 65. My kids love the chicken here. Most places have a yogurt based chili sauce on the 65 but they keep theirs dry. The Thali menu changes daily. Choose between meat or vegetarian. You get 3 dish samples, raita, roti, and desert. My only issue with this place are the hours. They close pretty early sometimes and have off days that are unexpected like for vacation. I think they've gotten better now that we've moved farther from Covid, with their hours that is.

Yelp
This is our go to place for well seasoned northern Indian food. Spice levels are a little unpredictable but the flavoring is always great. We used to eat in but since the pandemic it seems like this has turned into a take out venue. Even when you do sit down it's counter ordering. . Don't miss the samosa specials - great deal on carry out. We generally get extra food so we can enjoy the leftovers.

Eve M.

Yelp
Dirty restaurant and bathroom. The food was not flavorful. I knew better but still tried it. I'll never return.

Beel K.

Yelp
Before it was Phulkari it was Indo-Pak. Steadfast in quality of food, you know you will get a good meal because it's consistent. 5 stars because as a desi girl, I'm picky about desi food and the lamb biryani, saag, samosas, chaat papadi, lamb kharayi, are forever favs and never disappoint. No it's not fancy, its not about aesthetic, it's a hole in the wall but who cares, because the food will always deliver.

Christina N.

Yelp
This restaurant catered a friend's wedding and it was to die for!!!! Best chaat I've ever had.

Alyssa H.

Yelp
Non veg thali -$12. Butter chicken curry chicken and matter panner. This was my first time here and I am so satisfied. This has to be one of my favorite meals I've ever had- the curry chicken and butter chicken are dream worthy. The portions were perfect. I finished it all. They give you rice, naan, fresh veggies, yogurt and a dessert ( I forget the name - it's like a cheese ball in honey but donut consistency.) I cannot wait until I come back to try the Biryani. The service was quick there was, only three of us in here. The place was clean. Side note - I cannot handle any spice like mild + is too hot for me usually however this food was full of flavor and barely spicy- thank goodness

Khadija M.

Yelp
I came here for the first time reluctantly with my mother because of some reviews I read. My mom, who is originally from India, had been raving about the food and really wanted to take me here. I have to say that I was impressed with the authenticity of the food, the friendliness of the owner and the portion sizes. We tried a thali with a mix of veg and non veg items, halwa puri and pani puri. Everything was absolutely amazing! Will definitely return and recommend!

Nicole E.

Yelp
I went here a while ago. I ordered the vegetarian plate with garlic naan, which was extra. The main dishes were good, the naan was good, nice garlicky flavor, speckled minced garlic. Spices were decent. The food overall was a good sampling. I would have liked and wanted more and larger portions of the main dishes, but it's thali after all.

Yashaswita B.

Yelp
This restaurant is definitely the definition of hole-in-the-wall. Lip smacking Punjabi food, not too spicy. Love the achaar they serve. I wish they had better ambience though.

Nand Kishore G.

Yelp
Arrogance at it's best. The management need to understand what customer service is. Poor communication and very rude lady at the cash counter. She can never be nice to customers for all the years I've visited this place.. She keeps people waiting for a long time to take orders. She doubles as a help on the kitchen. I would never recommend this place unless they improve their people skill and attitude towards their customers

Sameera B.

Yelp
I tried few different things from this place. Both their veggie and non veg thali were good but their veggie thali items definitely tasted a lot better than the meat ones. Their pani puri was not good at all. Wouldn't recommend it! Their chicken biryani was decent also. Not as good as I expected based on the reviews. I would definitely come back for their veggie thali again!!

Yelp
Really amazing food! Everything I've had here is great. I love the samosas and aloo paratha and my favorite dish is the Biryani. The hours are really minimal, for lunch mainly and it's not much to look at atmosphere wise, but it's perfect for take out! Highly suggested lunch spot or if you can eat dinner around 3 haha

Yelp
This place has been on my bookmark list for a while and today we have a couple of appointments in the area so today is the day. Be prepared to go to the counter to pick what you want to order from the menu and pay. They give you a number to place on your table and then you sit down; they will bring your order to the table as soon as it is ready. We decided to order two Vegetable Thali Combos so we each picked three currys and naan and dessert. I picked chickpea curry, spinach paneer, and potato cauliflower curry. The dish included raita, basmati rice, and naan which we changed to garlic naan. Cutting to the chase, everything was tasty and delicious, not too spicy but you knew it was there, and the quantity was perfect as we were both satisfied and had nothing to take home. We'll definit

Yelp
Was recommended to come here by a friend who dines here often! I really really liked the street style platters called thali. It comes with various dishes to please your taste buds. I usually get the meat platter. You can choose three dishes from their daily menu, a roti or nan, and a small dessert option (go for the Gulab Jamun!). I usually end up getting the chicken tiki masala and butter chicken- delicious! *Tip: If you're not looking to eat a lot, the platter is definitely shareable. Just order extra meat for $3 and another naan.* Samosas were great too, though a bit small. Overall, I like this place a lot. The food is tasty and flavorful. It's not expensive and it's quick! Next time I'm looking forward on trying the biryani.

Yelp
Ok, let's talk Indian food. Cause this is one of my absolute favorite type of culture cuisine. There is none higher when if comes to Indian. Then I saw this spot on yelp serving in Thali style,,, I had to straight up pay these guys a visit. Plus my samosa craving comes hella strong on days when I get my Indian craving on. The restaurant is set up as a eatery type,, you go up to the counter, and let them know what you like, they make your food, server comes out from the back and drops your meal at your table. We did two of their meat thali sets. Each thali comes with 3 types of meat dishes, basmati rice, pickles, sweet chutney and yogurt for accompaniments. If you do, you might want to order some samosas as well,, these are little potato and veggie patties that are a popular street food in india. Also, don't forget the garlic naan. Because my Indian meal is never complete with garlic naan. After you've devoured all that good stuff and it's time for shoot the breeze session. Order you and your friends some Mango Lassi for the win. Yes sir, the proper way to eat Indian food is with your hands. So don't be shocked it you see a proper Indian getting down and dirty with a thali full of food with his bare hands. I too get's down like that, it's the best way to experience Indian cuisine at its finest. Plus I am a firm believer that bare is always best. It's good to be alive, don't waste it by eating fish sticks and chicken fingers. Your taste buds deserve better. Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Yelp
4 stars for delicious & quick inexpensive dinning. We both ordered the trays , each with 2 butter chicken and one with Paneer makhni (Cheese in creamy sauce) and Chicken methi which was spicy chicken it was delicious . The naan was good unfortunately not garlicky but not the best I've ever had but over all for $10 it was a nice dinning experience . The Indian music playing in the background was also very nice. The customer service a bit dry. Dirty trays on about 5 tables and we were the only ones in there

Yelp
Good quantity and quality food. TASTYYYYY!! Interiors can be much more fancy for the kind of food that they serve. VA- Yes Interiors: 8.7/10 Food Taste: 9.2/10 Presentation: 8.5/10 Service: 8.2/10 Ambience: 8.5/10 Pricing: Couple Lunch- $30-$35

Yelp
I have eaten a LOT of Indian food in the metro area. Countless places, from Canton, to novi, to Troy, and back. The first time I saw phulkari I was interested in it just based on its location. It's in a weird spot. The first couple times I tried eating there it was closed. Finally one day I went and it was open. I got a thali and some onion bhaji. I wasn't hyper impressed by the thali, but the onion bhaji was beyond good. I kept going back, trying different combinations of the thalis and always eating platefuls of the onion bhaji. Then one day I went with my wife and saw someone at a table eating tandoori chicken and it looked really really good. So I ordered one for myself. It came dripping with ghee and dusted in chaat masala powder. Since then, that's all I order. One whole chicken, a plate of onion bhaji, 2 naan, and a small side of achar pickle. Do yourself a favor, go get a whole tandoori chicken here.

Sifah M.

Yelp
I like this joint! Everything here was delicious. Tried the vegetarian and animal murderer thali, paneer makhni was the star of the show, lamb curry and palak paneer was pretty damn great also, look forward to getting either one next time i come. Also had lamb biryani which got condemned at 3 in the morning because i was so fat after the thali i couldn't breathe. They also had some kind of pickled vegetable that came with the thali that was so good, taking an order of that home next time ffs why is it so hard to find food with flavor around here! Portions are huge. Prices are super cheap. If you're not an aspiring fat boy like myself no reason you'd have to spend more than 10 bucks here. Everything was spiced really well and i appreciated that there was actually a good amount of chili pepper in the food. Not a whole lot, i would have preferred more, but it was there which is welcome because most restaurants in America will not spice your food unless you beg them and even then they skimp because they don't want you to complain i guess. Next time I'll definitely ask for it to be hot. On the decor side the place is nothing to look at. I'd rather not pay for it in higher food prices though so whatever as far as that. It's fairly clean, although both of our utensils had crusted food on them which was pretty unappetizing. Even when you get clean utensils later you still question how poorly they're cleaning any of their dishes that you could get some like that so it's a really bad look altogether. Lost a star for that. Won't preclude me from eating here though. Still recommended.

Yelp
Punjabi style Thali is their specialty, and I highly recommend this to anyone who has never tried Indian food before! I brought 2 friends here, 1 of whom has never tasted Indian food. Thali style is ideal because you can order a few options per person to try. This restaurant is the best - big portions, heavenly naan, and nothing is too spicy. I ordered the meat Thali, only $10. You can mix and match 3 meats and veggies for this price, and it comes with raita, pickled vegetables, a chopped veggie salad, a giant naan and 1 dessert. My meal was fantastic - I ordered the chicken kofta, chicken curry and chicken makhani. Makhani is one of my favorites because it's so creamy, and this curry was phenomenal! The naan is one of the best parts - a HUGE portion and you can add another to your order for $1. Yes, you read that right. Other places charge $4-$5, but not here! Finished my excellent meal with a masala chai, which was underwhelming, but still hot and plentiful. Will most definitely return, this place is doing everything right.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
When it comes to ethnic cuisine, Madison Heights is where it's at. And this Punjabi restaurant does not disappoint! If I lived closer, I would be here at least once a week eating my way through the menu. When you walk in, the place is fairly spacious but sparsely decorated. Very casual vibe. Definitely a place where you can feel comfortable eating by yourself, enjoying lunch or dinner while reading a good book. When I walked in on a Thursday evening around 5pm, there was no one in the restaurant but I was promptly greeted by a very friendly server. I was asking about the desserts and differences between them and she happily obliged me. If you're looking for variety, the thalis are a great way to try 3 different entrees for a reasonable price. Thali which literally means plate is an assortment of dishes paired with rice, your choice of bread, and dessert. Their thali also comes with a little side salad, bowl of raita (spiced yogurt), and achar (pickled vegetables) which I personally was not a huge fan of. The pickled vegetables are woowee!, pack quite the punch, and the yogurt sauce was too sour for my taste but to each their own. I appreciate being able to try all these dishes as they are without being watered down. The samosas are top notch and at $3 for 2, just add that on as an appetizer. It's a no-brainer. ;) The sauce with the chickpeas packed a nice heat to it but paired with the mint chutney and sweet sauce it was sooooo good. I would be a happy camper just eating that alone. Definitely don't forget about the hot beverages. I like the Masala chai (has added spices like cardamom compared to just the regular chai) and it pairs wonderfully with the rice pudding you get with the thali. I can't say enough nice things about this place! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and worth the drive if you're not.

Christine B.

Yelp
Excellent and very reasonably priced thali dinners with changing options each day. There are several choices for both vegetarian and meat dishes. Everything we tried from the thali menu was delicious, well-spiced and good textures. The thali dinners also come with dessert! We enjoyed the rice pudding. You can order thali at the counter for carry out, but you cannot call it in. I would stick to the thali, though, we also had a vegetable biryani (okay), a whole tandoori chicken (seemed like it was cooked too quickly, and not seasoned enough, though it was colorful), and lamb kabobs (okay). None of them stood out. They also have some drink selections that I haven't seen to round out your meal. Service was friendly and fairly quick.

Tushar A.

Yelp
Tried to give them another chance, thanks to my wife who wanted to eat their sarso saag, which turned out to be only OK. However, I feel I get to a new Level of Low every time I come here. May be its me, or it's just their rude staff who don't care about their customers. Because of our previous bad experience with the timing, we came at 2:30 pm on a Saturday, no chance of not being Served. Ordered their thali, veg and non-veg. Clearly asked if they have Kheer and the person said yes, we ordered two and then ordered Koya Jamun, so that we can have the gulab jamun taste. Well there comes our thali, with two gulab jamun's and no kheer with an excuse that the kheer was over. So basically we paid for khoya jamun for no reason. Than the food it self, well gets worse by the visit. The chicken curry, had no other taste but tomato, rajma had just beans floating in colored water, and butter chicken, well I won't know what to say, it definitely was bad. By the time I was done eating, I literally regretted my decision to ride all the way from Detroit to here. I wish I can give them negative stars. Hope they close down, when you can't respect your customers, you deserve to get shut down.

C'est M.

Yelp
This place is a gem! On one hand, I could not help but feel that this is a small family restaurant just starting out, but oh so ready to expand to the next level. Who ever is in the kitchen has all the expertise of an excellent chef and I wish them well! They serve Halal meat too! On the other hand, this place is hard to describe. Once inside is much larger than it appears and the random routine Qs posted by YELP made the realize this - is it a dive? Sort of and sort of not. It's clean and very cozy, low lights, but not dark, hence the 'sort of' under the intimacy Q. It's been crazy busy for carry-out and the only waiter is the guy at the register who has been on the phone taking orders repeatedly since we got here ten minutes ago. The bathroom is icky. Handful of Indian customers (I mention this out of respect for authenticity in food preparation).

Keith B.

Yelp
Now this was a good dining experience! I wasn't too sure what to expect but was overall very pleased. When I walked in I was a bit concerned because it seemed to be a bit unkept, however, it was pretty clear that there was a large party that just left and they seemed to be a bit understaffed as one guy was cleaning the dining room and there seemed to be only two other people working. There was a fairly large TV on the wall playing what appeared to be music videos in possibly Punjabi language (not sure) but it was very pleasant and helped sync the atmosphere and food. I ordered the Vegetarian Thali $8 which came with two pieces of regular naan but I ordered two extra pieces of garlic naan based on other recommendations listed previously. That was a great add for $2. This was enough food for two people easily and very good! I also ordered a full order of Tandoori Chicken to go $10. I ate one piece before I left it was warm and juicy, however, was a bit bland based on others I've had but still good. They give you great portions for very reasonable prices. I'd certainly recommend this place and will return in the future.

Dee M.

Yelp
We got the vegetarian thali, chole Puri halwa, paneer makhani, Malai kofta and daal makhani, also got the lassi. The food was great but they asked us to pay extra for a spoonful of pickle and that left a sour taste in our mouths. Hence the one less star.

Shahzeb T.

Yelp
The restaurant is nice and clean, its a family owned place. The menu has good options of vegetarian and meat and its halal so all in all good, the prices are cool not very expensive saag and maki roti was very nice and pari chat was cool as well, all in all decent place to enjoy your snacks

Morgan F.

Yelp
Delicious Punjabi food. My favorite is the vegetarian thali. Pro-tip order eat in restaurant if possible (closed indoor dining with Covid restrictions). Also love the samosa chat!

Abhinav J.

Yelp
I have tasted here, food was good previously. Recently, I don't think they retain the same taste as before.

Jaymin M.

Yelp
I have ordered 2 dishes(Makki roti-saag and Veg thali) and drinks(fountain and Lassi), and they have charged me around $24 while I was wondering how it could possible! So I have asked for the bill, and in front of me she made a bill which I posted here. And when I have asked her why did they charge me $10 for Makki roti-saag where menu shows $7, she just said we increased the price. How ridiculous is that! They are charging random amount for these dishes, so please be aware of this kind of scam at Phulkari.

Scott Z.

Yelp
Very authentic Indian dishes, including the street food menu with $5 items. It's a popular place, so there's a wait. But it's well worth it. They also have a small assortment of baked goods like coconut barfi for dessert. Personally, after a big Indian meal I can always use a little barfi.

Kaleend D.

Yelp
I had very high hopes of this place after being told by a few friends. We went there and and it was a almost empty restaurant. We ordered Samosa, thali, chole and aloo paratha. We got glasses for water which also looked dirty and over used and Samosa was just boiled potato with no spice. The chutneys that came with it were also just watery. The thali had 3 vegetables the paneer makhani was decent but the paneer itself was hard as if it was frozen. The aloo matar and dal makhani were below avg. The garlic naan was good. The chole bhature arrived and were decent. Nothing special. Had better at other places in Michigan. Finally the aloo paratha arrived and i struggled to see the filling inside thise. It was jus like roti diuble dipped in butter/oil and served with no or little stuffing. The only reason i gave this place 2 stars is the freshness of the preparation of the food and the gulab jamun which comes with thali was good. Overall utterly dissapointed and would not go here again.

Curtis T.

Yelp
I have been here three times with a party of 8, by myself and a party of 2 and left very satisfied. The space locates in a strip mall and looks pretty standard from outside. However, the interior is very clean and welcoming with lots of tables for various group sizes. You order at the counter and the food will be brought to your table. The food is very tasty and seemingly authentic due to the large number of Indian families eating here. I love trying all the chaats, which are Punjabi street food. The food here is primarily Punjabi, which is the northern district in India. I love the butter chicken here the most. Prices are very reasonable: chaats are around $3-$4, and main dishes are around $8. The desserts look really good, but I often get too full for desserts. The perfect low key place for Indian food craving.

Gia X.

Yelp
My husband got palak paneer and 3 samosas for me. I ate 2 samosas and had a few bits of the palak paneer before I started feeling very sick. The paneer tasted funny as if tomatoes sauce was added to it. It was the worse Indian dish I've ever had. My husband paid $15 for food that made me super sick (ended up throwing up 4 times). I wish I listened to the bad reviews and stayed away. Not sure how a place that sells bad food like this can stay in business.

Amy O.

Yelp
What a fun new food experience! I ordered a meat Thali platter with curry chicken, butter chicken and a red kidney bean dish. It came with a good portion of basmati rice and some traditional sides. I can't say that I was s fan of everything. But, I loved all of the intense flavors and the fact that there was such a wide variety of different flavor. The garlic naan was incredible!! It was only $10, which I found to be very reasonable. Great dinner

Sam K.

Yelp
Really disappointed. I love hole in the wall joints and Indian food so this place looked and sounded like the ticket, but the cuisine just ain't there for me. I had such high hopes when I saw the thali and figured "woot!" I had the aloo mattar (which had the oddest unpleasant sickly sweet flavor to it), the saag tasted burned and unpleasantly carmelized and third, I can't even remember what it was called but the yogurt base to it was just... Off. I had some barfi which was delicious though. The naan, which has been described as huge and exceptionally good, was actually pretty normal sized and normally flavored but pleasant, as most naan tends to be. I was so confused by how bad my curry tasted and how ecstatic the other reviews were that I almost wonder if it has to do with who's cooking that day (I couldn't help but notice that while much of the staff was Indian, the person who appeared to be cooking at that time was not) I wanted to like this place but, it was really just so unpleasant I will likely not return.

Carey C.

Yelp
From the outside, you're kinda like eh, the inside is cafeteria-esque, so I only go there for lunch, and primarily take-out, but the food is phe-nom! The Thali plate is like your own personal buffet. Your choice of 3 different dishes, all vegetarian, all meat, or combo. Dishes rotate, so on average they have 5-6 different vegetarian and 3-4 meat dishes. Then you get Naan or Roti, rice, yogurt, a wee salad, and dessert. Enough for lunch & left overs, or to share if you're just trying it for the first time. Trust me, after your first, you won't want to share. And for beginners, always, always, always, get the Butter Chicken and anything with Paneer (cheese) in the title.

Nish S.

Yelp
I stayed in MI for 3 yrs and explored indian joints. I was born and raised in western And southern india, so got a flavor of authentic north and south indian food. Punjabi phulkari is ver different from the usual indian restaurants. It is an Indian equivalent of falafel places- more casual, street food, quite delicious. Very clean, prices are reasonable and food consistent. I love their thali, parathas and sweets!! I would rate it among my top 3 choices for indian food around detroit area. Amritsari Alloo Tikki is so authentic!! - beats indian street side alloo tikki. My mom couldnt believe the flavors when she visited frm Delhi. TIP- Dont miss cholay, Amritsaari Alloo tikki and if u r hungry- try the thali!!!

Joe T.

Yelp
Excellent place, I am definitely a fan. From the outside, very humble unsuspecting place in a modest plaza. But with ethnic food, never judge a book by the cover. This place serves up authentic, fair priced Punjabi style Indian food. My mango lassi (yogurt) drink was so delicious. The whole tandoori chicken meal I had was fresh off the tandoor sizzling hot. Came with excellent green chutney sauce for dipping and enough lemon and onion to garnish. Naan bread was thick, hearty and stonefire baked it seemed. My colleagues has boneless chicken tikka kabab, which also looked great, but for just $1 more, my whole chicken bone in tandoori meal was enough for 2-3 people if ordered with extra naan. Meaning plenty to take home. For dessert there's cool Indian sweets you can buy at the counter. The wing/breast pieces were just a tad undercooked deep inside, so maybe asking for those pieces more well done would be better next time. Lady at the counter was very friendly given that ordering is counter service and then the food is brought to you. Next time I want to try the canteen style thaali meal where you get rice, naan, and your choice of 3 daily made rotating entrees (meat/veg). Also wonder how their biriyani is! Excellent place, two thumbs up!

Yelp
Food and service has gone really bad over last few years. This place used to be descent food now we have distasteful food and horrible service. Meat is usually not cooked from inside sometimes it looks like some one cooked it in a rush. Salt is extremely high in all the dishes that I have tried. Sweet section has very limited choices and not the good stuff. Customer service is nonexistent. Place is not clean. And I wonder why are they still in business.

Yelp
Used to be old Indopac yuk but new name and new management I gave a try. It was delicious only had their appetizer but it was very tasty. Somosa chat is great and I went on a Friday they always have a special 2 for $1 somosa. ^^^ was an old review but this place slowly but surly disappointment, dishes got smaller and customer service even slacking

Yelp
I absolutely loveee Punjabi food... N if you have lived in India, you know what it should taste like..... This place is spot on!!!! My husband got the thaali, n I went with the sarson da saag and garlic naan.... N oh that naan!!!!! Soft, pillowy, buttery n garlicky .....I could eat just that n be happy! The saag was amazing too!! We also got the kachori chaat which was equally good. But again... do try the garlic naan at this place!!!

Yelp
This is by far the most authentic North Indian food in the area. Decor is pretty basic but the service is great and the staff is pretty friendly! Highly recommend the Chole Bhature and the chicken biriyani! If you're feeling adventurous try the thali - it's a platter with options for curries and comes with bread and rice - it's a great meal if you're looking to explore their menu!

Yelp
The naan kabob at Phulkari are to die for! The kabob's are not so spicy and you can also order extra naan (bread) if you like. I also like the briyani and samosas from there. Fast and reliable! If dining in, the seat are uncomfortable and they could improve the decor of the restaurant.

Yelp
Phulkari has FANTASTIC food! We love the street food menu and mix and matching different dishes. They have a great selection and it's always delicious. Unfortunately, the last few times we've gone it has been quite dirty - we looked past it because the food is to die for, but quite literally we feel like death the next day. We've gotten food poisoning the last two times we visited (yes, we gave it another chance after the first time). We will truly miss the food, but can't keep giving up the next day to feeling sooo horrendously sick. Would totally recommend though if you don't mind hanging on the bathroom floor the day after - their food is really tasty.

Yelp
I have tried so hard to like this place but customer service is just horrible.. my order was $ 9.45 they charged me $ .75 cause I was paying with my card and it was UNDER $10... I had to Ask for utensils with my order, so got me one. I had to ask for napkins too BTW. Well, this was just the most recent Encounter with them. Never going back... This was my last trip to this place.

Yelp
We had lunch here yesterday. We both thought our food was good. It is a cafeteria style restaurant. The service was ok. The reason for the three stars is the sticky floors, tables, and chairs. Had the place been clean I would of given a 4 star rating.
