Edited my review- this place has gone down hill over the years. Removed my five stars. Been coming here for years and it’s awesome to see how much the restaurant has grown and the best part about it is that the food is just as incredible as the first time I had it. They also have a patio for when it's nice out and the patio is such a vibe, I always try eating out there. I don’t want to leave out the awesome staff either! Super friendly people! Phx Burrito House is an iconic Phoenix restaurant that you MUST eat at.

Came here because of the reviews. Bought a carne asada burrito for $12!!!! It basically just had refried beans and some cheese! Taco bell bean burrito is $2 and is even better. This is the reason why im always afraid trying new things. I was VERY disappointed! Customer service also seemed a little unfriendly. Definitely will not be coming back here again.

Giving this place a 3 overall.... here is why. Atmosphere and Service are average nothing over the top. My experience of food taste including breakfast burrito and salsa was above average. However, when you order a breakfast burrito and you add extras, the burrito size should increase naturally unless the cook uses less of other ingredients, which shouldn't happen as you paid for those ingredients. Please see pics for receipt and burrito size. Very small for the price, especially considering the extra add ons and the price of the extras.

I recently visited this place in the morning so I decided to try a breakfast burrito. The burrito was medium sized and was okay but was heavy on the eggs. The salsa was okay not great. Breakfast burritos can be almost a specialized thing and maybe I would be willing to try a different type of burrito if I visit again.

Be careful when ordering from this place, they will add tip without your consent. That is theft and I will NEVER order from this place again!! I can’t believe they would steal from a regular customer just to make a few extra dollars. They are no longer one of my recommendations. I ordered a burrito for take out, as is my normal weekend ritual. I noticed my last credit card statement showed higher and higher amounts each time I would go, so I was sure to take note of the total at the register. The cashier took my card and went through all the prompts without letting me see the tablet and would not issue me a receipt. I waited for the transaction to clear my credit card statement and sure enough I was charged exactly 20 percent more than expected. The burritos are good, but I cannot do business with such a shady company. Be warned they are taking advantage of customers!!!

Sadly the food here was not great. Small portions and the burrito tastes like a salty burto-brothers burrito at a higher price. With credit card service fees for every card purchase. Lame. You can eat here but don't expect any service here. They don't bring your food to your table or any other service. Salsa is basic white-boy mild. Coke products in Styrofoam cups. No discounts.

My sun turned me on to this place and I have never been disappointed. I cannot stand paying $15 for a burrito that is just ok and there are lots of those places in Phoenix. The Burrito House has great prices for the quality and these are the best Burritos in Central Phoenix hands down. Quality is consistentently excellent and the ingredients are plentiful.

Small nice and cozy area They get busy during lunch, great burritos kind of pricey imo but still delicious. Their horchata taste amazing. Young cashier lady, sorry forgot her name, but great customer service.
