"There are countless Chipotle-style, pick-your-own-adventure restaurants in Columbus, but few are as satisfying as Piada, which applies the formula to Italian food with a range of customizable piadas (street wraps), salads, and pastas. The massive, freshly made piadas are rightly popular, somehow incorporating helpings of saucy pasta along with protein (calamari, steak), toppings (artichokes, bruschetta tomatoes), and sauces (fra diavolo, basil pesto). Add a pepperoni piada stick on the side, or go for a sweet Honduran chocolate brownie at the end." - Angela Lee

Google
I tried this restaurant because I'd seen multiple videos of people trying the food and it looked delicious. I will say the food was good but the portions were ridiculously small, especially for the price. I got the carbonara and Parm piada stick. The pic of the Parm sticks showed 4 on the app and for almost $5 that sounded reasonable. There was only one, it's literally just a wrap with melted cheese. The carbonara gave the option of two sizes, I picked the large and the container was barely half full, for nearly $15 and no added meat you(Piada) should have filled that bowl, no excuses. I took pics and I'll post. I will NEVER order from Piada again.

Google
A great place to come to to get pasta, piadas, or chopped salads. They offer a variety of ways to order, including an online pick-up drive-up window when its too cold to go outside or when you are in a rush, as well as in-store pick-up or line-style ordering. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and I have yet to have had a bad meal in the many dozens of times I have ordered food. The inside atmosphere is inviting, and I often sit and do school work. The place is always clean, and I have 100% confidence in the cleanliness and the orderly atmosphere of the restaurant. My favorite meal is the Carbonara with grilled chicken, and the staff are always available to offer their own favorite suggestion. Would 100% recommend people in the area to stop on in!

I just had one the best experience that I haven’t had in such a long time at this Piada. All the crew members where very helpful in showing me what options where available as I have not been to a Piada for a few years due to a bad experience. This one by far was such a refreshing experience and will be seeing me a lot more. Shout out to all the crew members that helped me and the GM Silvia you are running a great team. Keep up the great work and will be back soon!!!

Google
Piada was on my bucket list. Stopped by today on our way for sons OSU tour. The carbonara with grilled chicken, spinach and tomatoes added was. THE BOMB!!!! I ordered BLT Piada wrap with grilled chicken added... quite nice... very full of meat!!! I love whatever this dough is. They had pepperoni rolls, cheese rolls, and tgen... piada pockets!!! We got a spinach artichoke but was so full... we haven't tried it yet. They gave me containers of what tastes like homemade ranch. And THEN... we had canola bites for dessert. Nice. All around lovely experience... cool music... great atmosphere.

Google
The food is great, you can either customize your meal completely like at Chipotle, or you can choose from a handful of pre-made orders. I eat there often enough that the head chef and other employees recognize me. The head chef even remembers my two main orders, the Basil Pesto pasta and the Avocado Piada Wrap. The service is also great, fast but not too fast. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Italian food or is new to Italian street food.

Google
This decent Piada place is closed to the west campus. They have a student deal during certain time in weekdays afternoon. Service is always fast and their room is clean. WiFi doesn’t work sometimes. I like Piada pasta more than rolls. Their Alfredo sauce is better than red sauce personally since the red sauce is too sour for me. There are many free and fresh toppings to add. Everything tastes great.

Food was good but please clean your drink area covered in dust flys all around

Google
Great service and food. Came at the wrong time for one of their deals but they still helped me through it patiently. Ordered the calamari and it came fresh prepared and with a generous portion (picture only shows about half the calamari). Overall the food was great and the service was amazing, thank you very much! Will definitely come again.

Yelp
Highly recommend this location! Great food, even better service, amazing all around! Not to mention the ambiance is great! store is very clean and this location gets very busy, but they never fail to do a great job!

Yelp
This OG location of Piada is still a favorite of mine and a must visit whenever I'm in Columbus. I still just do the classic Johnny Cash "Walk The Line" style of ordering. The bubbly delicious wrap is also a must for me as the bowl just loses something. Sure, it's easier to eat from a bowl, but something about a spaghetti filled burrito feels so wrong but you just want to eat it anyway. I will get one every time I visit (which is usually shortly after I land at the airport, no GPS needed for me, but plug it into yours). The Calamari is excellent too! It's fried and tender AF. They also add some peppers into the batter and fryer and wow, they just add a burst of flavor when you eat those too. Maybe they should offer a side of deep fried peppers! If a burrito or bowl doesn't fill you up on it's own, definitely add a side or a "stick" which is rolled up dough around either cheese or pepperoni. I think they have some health options (bowls with quinoa or other stuff), and I'm usually trying to eat healthy, but come here for an indulgent High-Carb Spaghetti Burrito meal! Yum!

Yelp
first time ordering via DoorDash and through this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. It arrived quickly as well. I wish we had one of these restaurants where I live back in Ontario. I would definitely recommend. For reference I had the appetizer meatballs and the avocado Piada. 10/10

Jody W.

Yelp
Had the best Caesar piada! And grilled chicken. So yummy yummy yummy. Don't forget a Parmesan stick!

Andres C.

Yelp
When I tell you this place has it all!! Unbelievable! This was my first time trying Piada! So many different options, and the young gentleman at the front was so kind and patient and guided me on my journey! Food was delicious, the lighting, music, and ambiance was perfect. absolutely amazing vibes.

Kennedy J.

Yelp
Wow, Nolan on the line was absolutely wonderful! I am a first timer over here and Nolan walked me through the line. He was so sweet and extremely thorough with explanations. I really appreciated his service and I am excited to go back!!

George M.

Yelp
The food the air the environment hit a 10/10 not only were my physical needs met but also my emotional needs. I'll be back piada you made me not only a satisfied customer but a Delighted one thank you.

Hailey D.

Yelp
Delicious!! I got a salad and it was a great size. I mixed the basil Parmesan and and harissa yogurt dressing and it was SO good. Also had to get a Piada stick and calamari. The Piada stick is 10/10 the calamari was just okay but came with way more than I was expecting

Yelp
I tried Piada (at a different location) for the first time a few months ago. it was delightful! I ordered online at this location earlier today, excited to get what I'd had last time again. My order was wrong, it was cold, and if sauce was added to the pasta (as requested) it was indiscernible. Overall, extremely disappointed.

Billie S.

Yelp
The store was very clean and the service was quick and friendly. I was also greeted by the manager to make sure everything was good. I really enjoyed my salad. I'll definitely be back!

Chad J.

Yelp
I just wanted to come on here and let you guys know... How amazing this store is. Sunday afternoons tend to be very wild at any dine in establishments. However, this store makes sure they are ready for their rushes, and even have smiles on their faces. I appreciate the work you guys put in, in-front of us, and in the back. Food is always above par.

Matthew S.

Yelp
making 8 online orders between in-store orders. awful service with long in store waits. food is inconsistent. don't go.

John P.

Yelp
Love the food here! The meatballs and Chop Salad with sausage is a must! Customer service is top notch especially when Chef Grayson is working! Highly recommend Piada and especially the Lane Ave location!

Brooklynn B.

Yelp
The Partner there is amazing. Great staff. great food. clean dining room and restrooms. Great leader

Jeannette S.

Yelp
My husband and i tried Piada a couple times and at different locations, and they were ok. We tried the one in the University district yeterday and they were so much better than some others we tried. Maybe it was also the staff who made it very enjoyable. Chef Josh went above and beyond to make our food and experience so enjoyable,as did the rest of the staff, they were a pleasure to deal with. I will def come back to this one from now on. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Jade S.

Yelp
I love the food, the vibe is amazing and the workers are very helpful and caring. Chef Kayli runs an amazing store and is very helpful when giving suggestions

Remi W.

Yelp
Wrap was mediocre. Wasn't disappointed but wasn't impressed either. Ingredients didn't taste very fresh.

Adam C.

Yelp
Piada offers Chipotle-style fast casual Italian fare in a new stylish location west of OSU. They offer a special for OSU students where you get an entree and drink for around $7-8. I went for the pasta Diavolo with meatballs. The angel hair pasta was fresh and the Diavolo sauce was slightly creamy and very flavorful with sun-dried tomatoes. The meatballs were fresh and the dish was topped with Parmesan and green onion. Overall a fun spot.

Chelsea A.

Yelp
I am one of piada's biggest fans and I have been for years. This location never fails to do a great job and produce highly quality food every time I visit! I truly think anyone can find something they like at Piada especially with how much their menu has grown and evolved. You can get healthier options including the salads or quinoa bowls. Then you can also get pasta bowls or do a pick 2 options. I highly recommend their pepperoni sticks as well. This location has plenty of parking out front and seating available inside. You can eat a delicious meal for around $10-12 a person and maybe even leave with leftovers! If you haven't tried Piada, I highly recommend it!

Yelp
Baby K wanted pasta, we needed something fast, and this fit. Even though it was the campus location and I wondered if they ever got kids, when I said "just pasta and sauce" they knew exactly what I meant. And were ready when I asked for "apple juice or something in a box." (They also have milk, chocolate milk, and maybe a couple of other kid options.) Baby K loved her pasta (I added cukes and carrots, and she stole some tomatoes from my meal.) I got the avocado piada, add steak. Tasty, hearty, reasonably healthy. Service was great. I like the combination of build-your-own with a dozen or so standard menu options. In this case, I did not want to have to linger and choose stuff. But if you want to, you can get exactly what you want. Prices are pretty good, for the quantity and quality. This location seems smaller than others but it was comfy and bright inside. Parking wasn't nuts on a weekend afternoon. I didn't know this one was here, but will try to remember it.

Yelp
I ordered a meal at 5:30PM through the website and was told to arrive at 6PM for a pickup curbside. I arrive at 6PM and alert the staff that I am here by responding to there text. They make me wait 10 minutes, I have to beep and call them 3 times before they come out and tell me they no longer offer curbside pickup. I have 2 major concerns: 1) If you don't offer curbside pickup, update your website to reflect that you do not offer curbside pickup. Also remove the signs in front of your store that states you offer curb side pickup. 2) They would have never come out unless I called / went in to pickup my food. I"m very dissatisfied with your operations. You need to update your website, update the signs in front of your store and only offer services you actually will honor. Get it together.

Amy J.

Yelp
Expensive but unique. Two soft cheesy filled breadsticks were $2.99 each and then you make a filled flatbread burrito style like Chipotle ("piada")- mine had chicken and no other extra $ add ons and it ran about $12! Good to try but not cost effective enough to have again.

Loraine A.

Yelp
Food is delicious but don't waste your time with mobile ordering because no matter how well spelled out the order is, they will make it wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME! I created my own salad with steak. When my hunger & I finally got home to eat it, everything but steak was present. Took my butt back to the store. Instead of offering me a drink or a cheese stick, the server asked do I just want steak or a new salad with steak. Hmmm? For the trouble I went through, best believe I got a new salad with steak. SMH. Please take your time & get the orders correct versus rushing to get through orders & they turn out wrong. I know us humans make mistakes but messing up orders all the time is not acceptable.

Serena H.

Yelp
The moment I walked in everyone had a smile and was ready to help me. The food behind the counter look very fresh and appealing. I asked for a recommendation between two dishes and the manager gave me his honest opinion. The food was very delicious and the perfect temperature.

Saphace A.

Yelp
I came here on a Wednesday afternoon around 3 and it wasn't really busy. This location is closest to campus so I saw a few students studying in here, despite the music being a little too loud. You can do a build your own pasta or piada (similar to a burrito except different ingredients). I ordered the fall avocado, which had pepitas, sweet potatoes, mozzarella, arugula, avocado and pancetta. It was really good, but here's the unfortunate thing: you pay extra to add meat. I added chicken and it really upped the price. I had the peach iced tea, which tasted like peach and was actually really good. I think my meal came to $13, which is kind of a lot for lunch. It tasted good, but why would I spend that much on the daily? I'd rather go to Qdoba (which Columbus barely endorses because they have Chipotle a-plenty). Cmon. I thought the trend for restaurants these days was cheap build your own options not this. Tsk tsk. My sister got the Tuscan, which had romaine, mozzarella, peppers, and Tuscan dressing. She got some kind of Italian soda. She was displeased with the meal. It was good, but again, how can you justify the price? Also, the piada seemed to simple for the price to her. Would I come here again? Only if someone asked me. But look, it tasted good! Just don't know if you'll see me here often.

Drew S.

Yelp
The only reason I can't give Piada a 5-star rating is because my love for it hasn't always been there. With a wide assortment of options to choose from, this Chipotle-style italian street food restaurant can be intimidating your first few times. My first few visits were bad. I wasn't sure what to combine and just ended up with an array of flavors that shouldn't have gone together. However, now that I know what I like, it is a staple in my fast(ish) food repertoire. The vibe reminds me very much of chipotle. It is friendly to customers in sweat pants just stopping in. However, the flavors remind me of something you would pay a lot of money for at a white table cloth restaurant just because it is in a dish and not a paper bowl. If you haven't tried it yet, Piada should work it's way to the top of your list. Recommendations... *noodles in your Piada wrap *lobster Bisque (for $3, it's pretty epic) *the calamari!!!

J M.

Yelp
The food was ok however it wasn't all there. We did curbside a couple days ago but arrived early so I went in and picked it up. Got in the vehicle and asked my wife to look in the bag to make sure all was there. Check. Got home and one of our meals was missing ALL of the meat that we ordered: in this case it was beef and chicken. That was a six dollar hit! We tried in vain to contact the establishment to let them know rather than incur an additional inconvenience of driving back. They have obviously made it to where you CANNOT speak to anyone at the business! Everyone makes mistakes but to purposefully avoid correcting your mistakes as a service/restaurant establishment means I WONT EVER spend my money there again!

Matthew A.

Yelp
I have been eating at Piada since 2014 and my experience each and every time I go has been nothing short of wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful, as it is delicious, and I always leave wanting to get a second Piada for the road. I seriously can't recommend them enough, especially if you like Italian food. So many great options!

Sania H.

Yelp
Very reasonable price for fresh, great tasting food. It is rare I look at a restaurant's menu and genuinely want everything but the pasta, piada wraps and salads all looked amazing!! First time here so I went with the classic pesto and it was very yummy. Definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu; fast casual prices, delicious taste!

Adi E.

Yelp
If you order food at the pick up window make sure you check EVERY LAST THING. I just got home and MULTIPLE items were missing. (The kids meal includes a milk and that was missing as were the ketchup for the tenders. Sauce for the Piada stick. Missing ingredients on the pasta.) There is no number to call. If you try to call the restaurant you can't talk to a live person. You must email. It's so frustrating. The receipt for the order has it all correct. Someone just did a really poor job filling the order and checking their work. Never again.

Habiba F.

Yelp
Good value Over breaded, under sauced but nicely flavored wrap Definitely needed more avocado Get the garlic dough (still needs more sauce)

MaKenna C.

Yelp
I decided to take my friend to piada for dinner and it was easily my worst piada experience. Customer service was awful. The woman preparing my food acted high and inattentive. She used her hands to grab the pasta noodles to put in my bowl. The customer service was bad, and the food quality wasn't much better. The food itself was cold and ingredients looked like they had been sitting out all day.

Josh M.

Yelp
I was starting to like Piada rather than Chipotle & Qdoba until this happened. Last night got myself a build your own salad. Got back home started eating, at the third bite I felt something sharp pierce the roof of my mouth. Turned out to be a twisted and bent piece of meta.... Will probably have to get an attorney for this one, unless the owner makes a nice deal. ..

Tash L.

Yelp
So I'm disappointed to say that I have to change my review of Piada. When Piada first opened, I was a huge fan. A Chipotle style pasta place? Count me in! Unfortunately, Piada has changed. I went there yesterday for a pasta bowl and everything was just wrong. The server was completely inattentive and couldn't have cared less to be there. She slapped together my order with very little care. The chicken was burnt, the bowl ended up completely over-sauced (think dumping an entire jar of pasta sauce over noodles), and the vegetables were not fresh. I drove home and drove all the way back to return my order after taking two bites. The server who originally put together my order had a serious attitude problem and to top it all off, she was SICK!! She claimed she had a "nose cold that was not contagious". I am so disappointed in my experience here. I really hope Piada gets it together again!

Tom W.

Yelp
Ordered online. Waited forever at their drive thru window. After 15 mins past the time they told me for pick up - went inside and waited another 1/2 hour. Numerous missing items on pasta. No ranch for the pepperoni sticks. Avoid this location

Charan H.

Yelp
the cashier with glasses is extremely rude. I understand everyone has bad days but not speaking to the delivery people for 20 minutes at a time is unacceptable. I was a customer who ordered in the store but I really wanted to speak up for the delivery people who seemed to be waiting forever. not to mention that there were about 10 online orders stacked up behind her. seemed like the rest of the crew really cared but she just didn't. hopefully they can get better at training & teach how to deal with multiple people at once.

Shannon C.

Yelp
I always enjoy eating here or picking up food for takeout. They have a nice variety of pastas, salads and piadas. My favorite items are the pepperoni sticks and the pasta bowl with either crispy chicken or the big meatball! I really love the red sauce. The salads are good too! Only thing is I wish they'd cut up the lettuce a little more. Sometimes it's too big of pieces to eat easily. I'm not a fan of the piada, which is a burrito basically, but with angel hair pasta inside of it. I know a lot of others who like them, just not me.

Joshua G.

Yelp
I stumbled across the idea of fast Italian street food and Piada ran it's way into a regular spot. While still a new concept to me, the piada is a great meal on the go. The BLT piada with hot Italian sausage is particularly delicious. There is also a build your own option allowing you to try any combination you like.

Justin V.

Yelp
The food used to be consistently good. I'm a fan of the calamari and lobster bisque (although they eliminated the bowl size a while back) But their menu changes frequently and so does the quality. To-go from this location is even more hit-or-miss than the food. I just waited in the drive thru line for a to-go order that I got here to pick up 25 minutes ago. Nothing like microwaving the food you just paid $50 for (except the salad--it was nice and toasty since they put it in the same bag as fried chicken and pasta). No apology or acknowledgement that their process is worst-in-class. No improvements, just gradual decline.

Emily S.

Yelp
Tony, the chef, was incredible!!!! I went in last week and ordered my usual. I have been going to Piada for years every now and then. I told Tony that I wasn't aware that Piada had pesto sauce. Tony's costumer service and passion for his job shined after this. He enthusiastically offered to put some on my bowl after I told him this and he poured an extra side for me. He even explained all of the sauce options to provide more recommendations for me. He went above and beyond when given a casual situation like so. Tony even gave me a discount which was a nice surprise. When I asked for his name, he also asked me for mine. These little things made this my best experience at Piada after several years of going at this location and other locations. I was truly impressed by how he represented himself and his company. Will definitely come back and hope to see Tony, the chef, there!

Roy M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, great music no TV's! Great I can pay attention to my company, it was when you work but the man you did good do a great job of explaining on how the concept worksThe staff is approachable and friendly they make most of their ingredients in house from scratch. A lot of times when I see a place like this they don't have enough staff to compensate for the amount of customers they seem to have a good ratio of customers to Run effectively and smoothly great job guys

Anna Y.

Yelp
Ordered the avocado piada..... was missing the avocado as well as the corn and tomato? But avocado is literally in the name. Disappointed

Kari W.

Yelp
This is my favorite piada location and I have to stop by every time I'm in the area. Service and food are always great!

Anjali D.

Yelp
Let me just start off by saying the staff is phenomenal ! Everybody is so nice and so polite . Got my food with everything correct and fast love this place will come back :)

Valerie B.

Yelp
I really want to like Piada, I keep giving them a chance periodically, but I keep coming up with just OK food. The pepperoni stick? Simple and delicious. The corn salad was crisp and clean and tasty. The carbonara, I ordered as is. It was a blob of lukewarm pasta, with the sauce globbed in the middle and the toppings, on top. I took mine to go, and by the time I got home 15 minutes later, everything had congealed and the majority of the pasta was plain. It may be a good idea, if the order is to go, to toss the sauce with the pasta. Maybe I just need to stick with salads or something different than pasta. I give them five stars, for the process. The app and the drive-through are convenient and easy to use. I just wish the food quality matched that.

Dominic F.

Yelp
Food and service were great! Still a little confused on how the meatballs were fed grass

Sarah H.

Yelp
I did want to update my review to say that I received a full refund of our order and gift cards after posting this review.

Tim L.

Yelp
Food was exquisite! Made me feel like I was walking the streets of Rome! I still don't get why the fed the meatballs grass though. Meatballs Can't Eat.......

Madison W.

Yelp
I use to love this location but the service has become awful. I was just here and despite there not having been a single person in front of me in line, I waited almost 10 minutes from the time I cashed out, until the time the chicken for my 2 meals was done. The poor girl putting the food together told the line cooks FOUR separate times that she needed chicken before any of them acknowledged her. This is the second time in row I've had this experience at this location. If the cooks were more concerned with customers and less concerned with cleaning up 2 hours before closing, this likely wouldn't be a recurring issue. But hey, thanks for the $19 worth of cold pasta!

Marissa H.

Yelp
Terrible staff, we walk in and she said "I'll be with you in a minute" and proceeds to talk on and on to her coworkers. The cashier was also rude and silent. Then my salad was half full
