MICHELIN Guide Hotels as Stylish as the MICHELIN Guide Restaurants Inside

"On the same property and from the same chef, this spot is worth a visit for its Cal‑Ital menu, including a hotel‑classic club sandwich turned on its head with fried chicken and B&B pickles." - Nancy DePalma

Went here based on recommendations on Resy - we were coming in to town for a concert and wanted to grab dinner before the show. We arrived on a Wednesday around 5:45 and found street parking. You can valet at the hotel ($11), meter parking, or the parking structure across the street. Restaurant is spacious and modern. I had the roasted chicken breast (also recommended by our server). My companions had pizza. We shared the beet salad, a bottle of Tempranillo and the blackberry sorbet. All outstanding. We were all really pleased at the deliciousness of all of the dishes. 10/10 would go back there again.

Google
loved eating lunch here! everything was served promptly, and it was all delicious! the portion sizes are also great for the price. atmosphere and service was great as well, and our server Hakeem was lovely!

Excellent mushroom pizza. Delicious one slice French toast. Beautiful outdoor seating with impressively tall doors. It would be nice to see more vegetarian options entrees

Google
Food was served promptly ( almost too quickly! Ha). Food temps were good, amounts served were very generous, and presented well, and the atmosphere was great. We ate outside as the weather was still warm enough, but it looks like they have plenty of heaters if it became too chilly. Our server was nice/good, but absent for much of the second half of the meal. Definitely a place to try and you can dress up, or go somewhat casual, which is always a great option!

Google
1st time and was the best food and drinks I e had in a while. I would recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

Google
Everything here was EXCELLENT. the food 10/10 service 10/10. Our waiter Hakeem was super attentive and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations and was accommodating.

Google
My husband & I have frequented many times and it's been exceptional all around we usually sit @ the bar because that's what we prefer...this past visit we were very disappointed with the service at first we were the only 2 @ the bar. I joined my husband as I was coming from work he already ordered & had his drink...I waited 5+ minutes before I was acknowledged & asked what I wanted to drink. The bartender & his bar back seemed more occupied in conversation then taking care of us. This proceeded for the majority of time we were there. We ordered food as well...a server being observant of us not being served ended up taking care us more then the bartender. We weren't even in her section she took it upon herself which actually saved our experience. Their cuisine is exceptional however service at their bar...we won't be back anytime soon.

Google
Excellent food and service. Dog friendly as well which is a HUGE plus! They had live music playing on a Friday night but I’m unsure if that’s done throughout the week. The herb roasted chicken was my choice for dinner and it was fantastic. Would recommend it! People around me ordered the pizza and they looked great as well. Thank you to Tyler for the excellent service as well :)

Yelp
Two meals one lunch one dinner and 36 hours both were home runs! Lunch was Crab Salad and the Chicken Club both were outstanding. Dinner was the pizza with the egg yolk on top and the burger. The pizza was fantastic. The burger was one of the best I've ever had and best of all they were able to make a spicy cocktail that was outstanding. Cannot wait to go back.

Yelp
(Tom Cruise voiceover) The vibe is hidden oasis! A modern restaurant w/ the most fab Herb Roasted Chicken (Sous Vide is the secret). Chris warmly greeted and served us! He is super cordial! Kobe Burger. The best burger you will ever have! Beet Salad. Amazing! Chicken Club. Remarkably moist! Double patties. Double fun! Kale Salad w/ Grilled Swordfish. Generous portions! Perfectly done swordfish! Pot de Crème! C'est marveileuse! Sorbet! The berries are huge! Easily the best dining experience in SLO! Thanks, Chris! Would order everything again!

Yelp
Located inside Hotel San Luis Obispo, Piadina is a place you would take your wife or partner for a nice meal in an elegant setting. Chose this since my wife loves places she can take pics and share her meal. Piadina is reasonable priced and the dining and patio area can provide a relaxing lunch and dinner experience. So why 4 and not 5 stars? My Kobe burger with fries- double patty with cheese and some condiments on the side. I tried to bite into it like other hamburgers but was too massive and slippery. Presentation is a 5. My only gripe is they didn't ask how I wanted my burger cooked. The ends was fine but as we got into the center, it got more pink where the center had some meat that definitely wasn't cooked. For that alone, I have to give the chef one less star for an undercooked burger. My wife had beets and had the honey roasted chicken added. Presentation was a 5. And she didn't have any issues from what I saw. Service was 5 stars. Our waiter was Hakeem and did a great job in checking in on us. Definitely a place worthy to try and still would recommend for visitors to try if visiting downtown SLO

Yelp
Upscale pizza and Italian...where everything is just exactly perfect. We had outstanding service, comfortable and modern ambiance, and really enjoyable food, including the chopped salad, goat cheese croquettes, hot honey pizza, and mushroom pizza. Reasonable prices and really huge portions so you will have leftovers the next day!

Yelp
I've been here a few times and can confidently say it's a staple of downtown slo with consistently delicious food, efficient, kind service, and an upscale but still California casual atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you aren't wanting to spend as much as ox and anchor costs, but you really can't go wrong with any of hotel SLO's offerings, from the dining to the spa!
google avatar

Judy L.

Yelp
The food was overpriced and outright revolting. Honestly, how was this a justified $80 per person for such an atrocious meal? Every dish was either excessively salted, overwhelmingly briny (both the cooked fish and the raw salmon), unbearably dry (the turkey), or just generally subpar in every conceivable way. And truly, I wouldn't have cared in the slightest if the price had matched the quality, but it absolutely did not. The service was perfectly adequate, but it did nothing to redeem the culinary disappointment.

Yelp
Nice location in downtown SLO in the Hotel SLO. Patio has heaters but I was still chilly outside. 1 page menu with salads-Tuscan kale Caesar was tasty, but doesn't need tomatoes. One diner selected the option to add buttermilk fried chicken fingers to his salad and was disappointed by the dry texture; sandwiches-the Kobe beef burger was delicious , but one diner reported her medium rare was medium well; shareable plates including grilled asparagus and artichoke-I thought they were overpriced at $18. Entrees included grilled swordfish, which my wife enjoyed, a variety of steaks and a roasted chicken. Service was mixed. Long wait for drinks, but our food was delivered fairly quickly. Server was pleasant but not chatty-seemed annoyed that two diners took a bit to decide about cocktails. A good crowd for a Tuesday night.

Yelp
Booked this restaurant for 5pm on Saturday on my visit to SLO and they were super accommodating with my requests about timing of the reservations as my plans had changed. I got the new york steak with kale caesar salad and I loveddd the portions for this! I didn't expect there to be so much salad which was a great surprise. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare but it was more on the rare side, which I didn't mind too much to send it back. One side was cooked more rare than the other. The char was amazing though and I could taste a lot of smokiness which I loved. The salad was refreshing and loved the feta cheese touch. It went well with the steak to balance out the flavors. The chicken was really tender and the olive oil seasoning and pickled olives went well with it. I loved how crispy and flavorful the brussels sprouts were!!! It's a nice and classy ambience inside with booths and some candles and I actually loved how cute the menus were. I'd definitely recommend this place!!!

Yelp
So I'm going to review the whole overall experience when I got there there was no hostess. I was waiting there for about 2 to 3 minutes and then a hostess came and then we proceeded at our table. Also, the water was room temperature not cold. Service was very great. Now let's jump to the food. We ordered two different pizzas. One had more flavor than the other and one was kind of bland flavorless in my opinion and then we ordered the chicken. The chicken was cooked to perfection juicy perfect but lacked seasoning and needed like more flavor or some salt some pepper, the brussels sprouts with the red onions and the bacon was cooked very well, but overall wasn't my type of dish. The ambience of the location is upscale, new money, very nice design and architecture.

Yelp
Crazy good hamburgers (double patty), chopped salad, etc. Classy but casual environment. Heaters outdoors and great for kids. Glasses for soda could have been bigger... had to ask waiter for refills twice.

Yelp
TL;DR: Chic restaurant, delicious food, good service! Decided to try a new restaurant in SLO and Piadina was great. We ordered goat cheese croquette, Dungeness crab salad and mushroom pizza. The salad was a breeze in summer. It was balanced, citrusy and so refreshing. The mushroom pizza was very impressive. The rich but not overwhelmingly umami flavor was tasty. Highly recommend! Will definitely visit again.
google avatar

Acira M.

Yelp
Love how accommodating they are with big groups, always a smooth experience. My go-to is still the mushroom truffle pizza, so rich and flavorful. The aioli with the fries is so good, we always get it. Their pizzas are super filling, so definitely come hungry. Tried the honey lavender croquettes for the first time, and I am definitely getting them every time. I love anything with lavender! Wouldn't get the chicken bianca again because it just felt too plain compared to their other options. But if you're into smoked salmon and a salty kick, the salmon caviar is always a solid choice.
google avatar

Zoe M.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to visit in Slo. This past time we got their salmon caviar pizza, wild mushroom and goat cheese pizza, and crispy fries. So delicious every-time, I crave their fries and aioli. Ive also had their burger, artichoke, and cocktails and its all amazing. Can't recommend enough
google avatar

Yelp
Loved the layout with the view of the kitchen from my table. The presentation of the food was visually pleasing and the taste was outstanding and balanced. Staff did a great job making sure no finished dishes were left on the table.

Yelp
Stayed at hotel SLO for a getaway weekend and Piadina happened to be the main restaurant connected to the hotel. They also serve the breakfast for the guests and they serve dinner/appetizers up to the rooftop bar on the hotel. I really enjoyed their food. The breakfasts were hearty and nutrient dense. I would order the avocado toast again, it was simple but really delicious. We also had the pineapple pizza on the rooftop which was delectable. Great spot all around.

Yelp
I stopped here on a work trip for a quiet evening and was glad I did. I sat up at the bar in the lounge space where there was a musician performing in the corner. The bartenders were friendly and the service was very efficient for a Wednesday evening. I got the Caesar salad with swordfish, which was cooked perfectly. The portion size was perfect for a meal and with a drink the total came to about $60. Highly recommend checking this out whether you're staying at the hotel or not.

C M.

Yelp
Goat Cheese Croquettes and the most amazing cheeseburger. The staff went above and beyond to make the evening memorable. Definitely worth the hype!

Yelp
Tried out Piadina again after a not so great time last time. This time was even worse. We came in today (Veteran's Day) and they were holding the half off pizzas at Piadina since the High Bar was closed. We were told it was a five minute wait as they were preparing the tables. We waited over 30 minutes. Then once my boyfriend asked how long the wait was, they were confused about the question which we assumed that they have forgotten two parties were waiting to get seated. Awful service. And to add to that, the service to get our order took awhile to get.

Yelp
This place is such a vibe. The live music on Saturday night was incredible. Perfect espresso martini. Friendly and efficient staff too.

Yelp
I very rarely am compelled to give 5 stars because that's a pretty much perfect. This is pretty much ch where we have most of our meals when we're in SLO. It's perfectly located at the base of Hotel SLO and there's very little that Piadina can do better. The bar, lounge and drinks are fresh and tasty. It's a relaxed vibe but with good energy and comfortable layout. They have a decent wine and beer selection as well. The habanero mango margarita always hits for a pre-dinner cocktail. The food is consistently delicious, plentiful and satisfying. I'm gonna call it, best french fries I've had! But bring friends because you get a massive bowl as an a la carte item. The menu has a good enough selection without being overwhelming, which always stresses me out. The service is always warm, welcoming and helpful. A combination of all these pieces come together so well, which is why I have no hesitation giving 5 stars!

Yelp
Came back to Piadina to celebrate a birthday and it did not disappoint. Stephen, our server was excellent -- friendly, accommodating and informative. The Crab Salad was knock your socks off good -- so flavorful and so much crab! Had the chocolate pot de creme for dessert and it hit the spot. Will be back!

Yelp
I keep returning here for the very cool sort of "Best of Vegas" vibe at this hotel and restaurant in the middle of SLO has. One of my very favorite features right now is their VALET parking, which makes parking downtown into a pleasure instead of a "how-do-I-work this-infernal parking app" nightmare. The parking cost is the same as if you parked yourself, then I would much rather give a tip to the valet, then have all my parking money guzzled up to fund the new parking structure! I grabbed a patio table (always my preference) but my son wanted to eat inside, so we moved to a nice table by the window overlooking the street. I perused the menu, as he was on a work lunch hours schedule, and had to walk over to get to the hotel. I had finally sampled the elusive salmon and caviar pizza last week when a friend took me here for my birthday, so this time I chose one of the stars of the menu, the grilled artichoke. I got a glass of the local Sauvignon Blanc to accompany it. My son soon arrived and ordered a super double burger with fries. I had thought to accompany my artichoke with fries, so I cadged some of his throughout the meal. I love artichokes, having spent a vacation week once with small artichokes as my only snack! This is one of the best I have ever eaten. Savory and buttery, the artichoke is perfectly boiled, then grilled with the care usually given to meat! The same care was shown in my son's burger, which he completely devoured. We had a great time discussing some of our family history, and made plans to see each other again soon, as his birthday is coming up. This hotel dining room is a great respite from the hum of the small city outside, and we will enjoy this oasis in SLO again soon!

Yelp
This place is beautiful. Clean, Modern style. We were staying at the hotel and enjoyed breakfast here. It is a small menu only about 8 items. My husband had the smoked salmon with a bagel; a very generous portion of salmon. I had the French Toast, it was really more of a bread pudding served with an assortment of berries, fruit and a brûlée banana. Very sweet. Hakeem, our server, was as attentive as he was charming. This was a lovely fancy breakfast

Yelp
A well-deserved update to five stars. Returned with a large group of us for a night out of dinner and the SLO Rep Theatre. Everyone enjoyed their meals and cocktails. Two in our group had special dietary requests, which were perfectly and graciously met, and beautifully presented. Two of us shared a caviar pizza and, wow, amazing, with no skimping on that delectable topping. Lemon drops - yummy. Because we were heading to the theatre afterward, we were a little concerned about timing, but our (distractingly attractive) waiter made sure our food and drinks came out quickly, our split checks were accurate, and that his level of service was stellar throughout. And we were out the door with perfect timing to cross the street and check in at the SLO Rep. Thanks, Piadina!

Yelp
So this is a hotel restaurant which I didn't know, but was still nice to try. There is better food in SLO, but if you are looking for nice aesthetics, solid food, and great servers, this place is a good visit. The tomatoes on the cheese omelette were some of the best I've had in a while! Pizza was solid, omelette was solid, and the Caesar dressing was one of the best we've had! Would come back again especially considering my two servers were so sweet. One negative thing is that it was a super hot day and that sat us outside even though there were plenty of tables available inside. Idk if hotel sleepers get priority but it would've felt better to be inside :)

Yelp
I took my daughter and her college roommate to dinner here. Everything was amazing! Delicious food, fantastic cocktails, great service!

Yelp
Belated. I sent this in 2/18 /25, no response and then a couple weeks later, zero response. So it's time to share.... Resy did ask for feedback, and this is what I shared. I sincerely do not want to put this on Yelp or Google, because everyone deserves another chance, but since I received zero response, twice, here it goes.... Our experience was not good at all on 2/14/25. We showed up promptly at 8:15 pm for our reservation. It took approximately 15 minutes to get a server to take our appetizer and drink order. It was served to us very quickly and then within five minute she asked how things were and if we wanted to nosh a little and wait to order our dinner. We said that we wanted to wait. She came up within about five more minutes and said that the kitchen was closing down and asked if we wanted to order or just have apps. Of course we wanted dinner, as it was Valentine's Day and we had reservations for dinner. We ordered and our meal came out right away. So on our table, we had all our drinks, apps, and dinner within 15 minutes. Why fries are an appetizer we have no idea (the server maybe could have said when we ordered these that most meals came with an enormous amount of fries, as every meal sans mine came with an abundance of fries. We kind of joked that they were identical to McDonalds fries, with a bit of parsley stuck to them. Also, my husband went to use the bathroom, but it was closed as they were already cleaning the bathroom, and this was before 9 pm. Why on earth did they take a reservation for 8:15 if the kitchen was closing within 45 minutes? Our meals were meh. The kale salad was decent and the mushroom pizza was good. The artichoke was good too, but tasted a bit like liquid smoke. The burger and chicken sandwich were gigantic, but really just like bar food. When I asked about dessert I was told that the kitchen was closing down so she did not think that they would be able to make it happen. I let the staff know that when I made the reservation I specifically asked them about putting dessert aside since we had a late reservation and they said that there would be plenty of dessert and not to worry. We spent about 230.00 for four people to eat and have 4nnon alcoholic drinks. We received about two pounds or so of fries, and a so so meal at a place that should have provided us with an experience. We were super disappointed. It was not even busy. No excuses. Hope you all can turn this around and make it right. If I owned this restaurant, I would want the truth.

Yelp
Fabulous setting with a fireplace in the bar area and plenty of comfortable sofas, chaise lounges, and upholstered chairs where the wait-staff are ready to take your order of drinks and food from the dining room menu. I enjoy relaxing here, especially in the evenings when a mixed group of students, business people, tourists, sports fans, and locals gather together. One can find a private area to themselves, or sit around the glass-plated fire in a comfortable chair with a low table, or meet with a group of people around the bar, or even watch the games on television on a high stool. Tonight I ordered their beet salad with goat cheese and it filled the entire dinner plate on which it was served. The mixed red and green baby lettuces were separated on the plate from the mound of red and yellow cubed-beets; a thinly sliced watermelon radish, a goat cheese spread with blueberries, blackberries, and strawberry halves were included with this potpourri mixture. The spring leaves had just enough olive oil to make them glisten and a touch of vinegar to enhance their flavor. Warm goat cheese balls that were lightly fried with a yellow crust were a pleasant surprise. My only regret is not having my phone with me to take a photo to share on this post. Highly recommend this dining experience and the beats with goat cheese salad.

Yelp
Never would have imagined that a burger would be the highlight of our meal here, but it definitely was! The tomato jam took the burger to another level, it was out of this world. The lemon tart was a lovely end to the meal and was neither too tart nor too sweet. I also enjoyed the quenelle of vanilla on top, it was delightful. If you're looking for a place to enjoy a seasonal meal in a beautifully outfitted restaurant, Piadina is a good choice.

Yelp
We visited Piadina for dinner, having made a reservation in advance. Located inside Hotel San Luis Obispo, the restaurant was elegantly decorated with a pleasant (heated, dog friendly) patio. For drinks, I got a glass of the DAOU Pessimist Red Blend (really great) and my friends got Espresso Martinis (perfectly made, highly recommend), the Prime Thyme (also great), and a bottle of the Tolosa Pinot Noir. The food menu was pretty small and mostly consisted of pizzas. We ordered the Grilled Artichoke and Goat Cheese Croquettes to share for the table. The Grilled Artichoke unfortunately wasn't my favorite - only the center was soft and edible, so there wasn't a whole lot to eat here. However, the Goat Cheese Croquettes were fantastic - fluffy texture, delicious lavender honey. My friends also ordered a pizza to share, which was half mushroom and half artichoke. The mushroom side seemed to be the group favorite, but both were tasty. Unfortunately, Piadina no longer offers a gluten free pizza crust, but I hope they bring this back. I ended up getting the Kobe Burger with no bun, which was fantastic. The burger was so juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and I loved the tomato marmalade on top. Overall, really great for dinner!

Yelp
A fantastic new addition to SLO's already lengthy list of delicious restaurants. It was absolutely packed on a Friday night so all the actual tables and booths were taken, but they have a huge lounge area with several large couches, comfortable lounge chairs, low tables, and lots of bar seating. I was able to be seated immediately on the couch and enjoyed a pizza and wine over a book and the reflection of the fireplace. Service was attentive but not overwhelming, the other customers were well dressed and mannered, and even the overhead music was a good choice. I got the smoked salmon and caviar pizza and I will make a point to eat this every time I'm in the area. The smoked salmon wasn't too salty, the creme sauce was well balanced, the bread was super soft, and the black caviar was a good choice. I paired it with a Pinot Grigio because I wasn't sure how salty the pizza would be, but it wasn't very salty and I'd recommend going with a white wine that's a bit heavier, creamier, and less acidic.

Anmol L.

Yelp
The mushroom pizza is very tasty. The mushrooms feel very fresh and earthy. The goat cheese adds a very flavorful and creamy contrast. The service is very top notch and the drinks are also very enticing!

Yelp
wow, this is a little hidden Jewell salads were fresh and I had the hamburger and holy moly. That thing is big juicy and the french fries great what a meal go give it a try thanks K.R..

Yelp
We have eaten here 2 or 3 times. Tried a different dish each time, and haven't had a bad one yet . The goat cheese croquettes with lavender honey are a stand out appetizer. Service is pretty dependent on who you get.

TheGood N.

Yelp
The Good: Amble parking in the garage across the street. Nice atmosphere. Flavorful truffle pizza and good size for the price. The NotSoGood: Battered fried asparagus, hard as rocks (had to send back). Burger, still red/raw in the middle, fries were so salty we couldn't eat anymore than 3 or 4 pieces. Server dissappeared. It was difficult to grab him, as he was no where to be seen. Wondering if the chef is "learn as you go" kind of person.
google avatar

Daisy L.

Yelp
It was previously great, but our recent visit was so disappointing. The burger has thin patties that were way too salty. Strawberries were already brown. The stems were not even removed. They were not washed. This is how you serve fresh berries? The other entrees also were not as good as before. What happened? Did they change the chef? It was so great but now it is not. So disappointing! Service was friendly though. Nice staff members. The food definitely needs to be improved. Seems to be missing quality control!

Yelp
We went to this place for the first time with some of our friends and it was an experience like no other for SLO. We went on a Saturday night and the wait time for outside seating was 30 minutes approximately. While we waited, we went to the roof top bar to get some drinks which were great. We got some fruity drinks which were not too sweet. Would highly recommend to take advantage of the views upstairs while waiting to be seated! When it comes to the food, I would profile the dishes as having some of the most unique tastes of their kind. The mushroom pizza was one of a kind I've never had before and the sauce on top was made of mushrooms. The chicken was so flavorful and I have never had such a dish before. The flavor of the chicken was seeping through and through in every single bite and had the right consistency of "juiciness"! There is very limited street parking and would recommend you park in the parking garage right across the street in front of the main entrance. The nice part about being seated outside is there is live music and the musicians are top notch! Very pleasant ambiance overall!

Yelp
When I stayed in hotel SLO, I didn't expect much from this restaurant based on my past experience with typical hotel restaurants, but Piadina is something else. They offer great food and great service with reasonable price.

Alexander W.

Yelp
The goat cheese croquettes are one of the best goat cheese appetizers I have ever had, definitely a must try. Swapped out fries with my steak frites for the house chopped salad, which was excellent. The barbeque sauce that came with the steak was pretty average but everything else was great.

Yelp
Had a nice breakfast 2 days in a row. Very quiet spot in the Hotel San Luis Obispo. My only quibble is that the coffee wasn't hot. Other than that it was tasty, and the tots were crispy!

Yelp
just now New First time in SLO and drove around and found Piadina inside the Hotel San Luis Obispo. Excellent Everything!!10 Stars if we could!! Food was so delicious!! From appetizers, to drinks to entrees!! Big entrees!! And Hakeem, our waiter, so very hospitable!! Great conversation! Always checked on us and made sure we were enjoying our experience here!!! Thank you so much Hakeem!! When at Piadina's always ask for Hakeem!! Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5

Yelp
Came to Piadina yesterday, and they deserve 5 stars for this burger alone, it might be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. I came with a group and everyone ordered different things, and everyone enjoyed everything they got. Great place to visit.

Yelp
Love sitting in the bar area near the fireplace, all the drinks and food are wonderful. I've never had a bad experience

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch with my best friend's daughter on a rainy afternoon in SLO- it's a nice modern space in hotel SLO. We really enjoyed the goat cheese croquettes, which were in equal parts unique and tasty! The mushroom pizza was not my favorite, with a thick and overly doughy crust. Service was fair. The bar and lounge just outside the restaurant looks like a nice place for a pre- or post meal cocktail.

Bryan F.

Yelp
Steak was cooked beautifully and salad was decent. We also ordered an open air cocktail (not pictured) but was also pretty good. This restaurant offers decent food and a nice ambiance Steak: 8.5/10 Salad: 7/10

Yelp
Best breakfast EVER! The avo toast and salmon bagel were out of this world and the colors were like a summer California sunset. Not only were the flavors insane, they were IG-worthy. The restaurant was full of light, comfortable seating and the fiber art gives the vibe of a cool art exhibit. Chef Matti knocked it outta the park and Hakeem was so sweet, attentive and honestly, allowed us in for breaky right under the wire. Thank you!

Yelp
I took my Cal Poly freshman daughter here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We were the first ones here and were greeted by the chef and waitress. I had the pizza with an egg and she ordered the avocado toast. The pictures speak for themselves. The waitress was super friendly and even was kind enough to get me some sliced limes and salt packets for a later adventure. Sometimes getting a Saturday morning breakfast in SLO can be a long wait. Give this palce a try, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Piadina and they treated us really well for my roommate's graduation celebration. The inside and outside of the restaurant were so cute and they had a photo booth set up in the lobby. Half our party got the herb roasted chicken and it was REALLY good. I loved the brussel sprouts that went with it but some parts were a little salty. I had the artichoke and it was good but mainly just tasted like butter

Yelp
My family and I have decided to make our trek up to SLO an annual thing since we, kids included, all love SLO so much... a highlight of our trip has always been a stay at Hotel SLO AND dining at Piadina. Once again, the food here was great. Simple California cuisine but it's SO GOOD, tasty and fresh. What makes this place standout to us is the service. We were always greeted promptly and warmly. Chef Matty prepared our breakfasts for the 2 mornings we dined there and he was friendly and greeted us all when we walked by. We had to talk to him and complimented him on how tasty everything was and he was nice to chat a bit with us! Compliments to the chef, for sure! Also, compliments to Hakeem, our server both times we dined there, so friendly and was really one of the best servers we've ever had dining out. We'll be back :)
