The 12 Best Rooftop Bars In London - London - The Infatuation

"From the lofty heights of the Royal Opera House’s fourth-floor terrace, you can spy all the best bits of Covent Garden—the street performers, the market stalls, cobbled streets—without all the pigeons and shopping bag-related injuries. There’s a European-leaning menu at Piazza but it’s so tranquil up here—tasteful grey seating, hanging foliage, proximity to ballet dancers—that it’s a pleasant spot even if you’re just having a glass of wine. A drink here is the right way to show out-of-towners Covent Garden, without making you hate yourself." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, daisy meager

Where To Go Instead Of Winter Wonderland - London - The Infatuation

"We can all agree that Winter Wonderland would be best viewed from above—far away from the beak of an oversized, cuddly penguin with a manic look in its eye, but still within eyeshot of all the festivities. The Royal Opera House gets this. At Christmastime the historic venue’s Piazza takes on the persona of Winter Wonderland's rich, classy godmother. The rooftop is beautifully decorated with garlands, there are heat lamps, cashmere turtlenecks galore, and you can look out over Covent Garden’s twinkling lights from a safe distance, snuggled up in blankets with champagne in hand." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Tired of Pret/Benugo and exploring the area, this is definitely the best option if you want a solid lunch/breakfast. Not ideal if you need to sit down to work with a laptop but solid if you need food and a friendly chat

Very simple and minimalistic design of the cafe. I love the simplicity of the place this made me make a decision of what to order quickly. Staff and food were amazing. Thank you very much.

Tough one to rate, was this the best bagel I’ve ever had? No. But was it exactly what I was expecting, yes. The place just feels honest and genuine and the staff is just so friendly. Will deff come back.

I stopped for lunch on the way to a meeting. The staff were lovely and the food/coffee was great. Well worth stopping at rather than Pret or Costa!

Lovely staff and food is reasonably priced (especially for the area). The paninis are the best!

Avoid at all costs. I ordered very politely, but later faced vile temper of the owner - was shouted at when they mixed up my order. I paid extra when demanded because of how aggressive they became. Please do avoid.

Great sandwich bar. Friendly team don’t rush you or hassle you to choose but then make a super quick, fresh, filling packed sandwich to your taste. Delicious. Loved every bite. And very reasonably priced especially when compared to a pre packed chain store sandwich. Real treat to come here.
