Here’s the Full Food and Drink Lineup at NoLibs’ New Piazza Pod Park | Eater Philly

"I see that the Piazza, the large complex in Northern Liberties with an enclosed central plaza, has struggled to find its place since opening about a decade ago, and developer Post Brothers is hoping to turn it around starting with this Pod Park reboot." - Rachel Vigoda

Love this place, when there's no tournaments, you can shoot pool, have a few drinks and great authentic Italian food. The staff was very friendly too. I threw my bday party there and everyone was extremely accommodating and service was awesome 🔥

The vibe was lively but chill. They had a ton of pool tables but unfortunately all 12 or so of them were reserved for leagues. I really dislike when they take up an entire venue for that. Especially when they've got 2 different areas. So how about one area be for that & the other be for regular patrons who want to play, not just sit there & watch. We were hoping to find a new SAFE non rowdy pool hall for the family to visit on weekends but this apparently isn't it. The food was pricey for what it was. Hubby had a pasta, me & my son split a pizza (which was super greasy), and fried ravioli. I had 2 beers and a shot and somehow it was almost $80. We can take us plus our 2 adult children out to play pool with pitchers, plenty of food, shots & table time for less than that at a similar place we've been going to around the corner. So we won't be back. The server was nice. But unless you just wanna watch people play pool and over pay on mediocre food, I'd pass on this place. They've got nice tables, too bad we couldn't play on them. Also, kids aren't allowed to play on the tables. Our 8 year old loves playing but guess he won't be here. Also, the reviews I read lied. They don't have a kids menu. And I wouldn't call this a family friendly place. Because it literally was just full of league players and some old bar flys. Also, my Palisades Peach draft didn't taste right. Pretty sure she gave me the wrong beer. They also didn't even have pickle shots or a pickle back for my vodka. What bar doesn't have pickle juice? Oh, a league club disguised as an Italian restaurant, that's who.

This is the worst establishment I have been in. As soon as we get there we sit at a table right next to the bar. Bar tender looks at us and ignores us. Waiters and waitresses pass our table over a half a dozen times. We sat at the same table and no one acknowledged us for over 25 minutes. Then a second couple walks in and sits at the table behind us. 10 minutes later a waitress grabs some menus and then starts to walk over to us. At least I thought she was, she stopped at the couple who came in 15 minutes after we had originally sat down. Walked out after that, I will ever go back and will make sure family and friends avoid this place like the plague. I was being patient and understand people are short staffed but it was the ignoring us and helping folks who came in after us that was the deal breaker. I go to a lot of local establishments and this is the worst I have been treated in.

First. It took WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY TOO LONG to get our food. The salad came out quickly. The pizza took days. I am giving the food three stars because the salad was awesome. We also ordered the Colorado pizza. Definitely NOT A FAN of that pizza. I am not sure if that's just supposed to be a "spicy" pizza, or if they make spicy pasta sauce too. But in my opinion, pizza is not supposed to burn the mouth and lips. I did not like the taste of it either, even if it wasn't spicy. We may come back and try the pasta, but I am a little nervous about it due to length of time to get the food and I am leary of their sauce. The server, Sharon, was very friendly. I will come back just for the very benevolent servers!! That is a HUGE WIN!!! It doesn't happen everywhere that servers are so kind and so attentive!! The service will be the reason we return!

Google
Piazza's is the best place for Pool Tournaments in Denver right now. If you stop in, I recommend trying their pasta or pizza. Their Italian food is very tasty. I make sure to get pasta every time.

Google
The staff of piazzas is wonderful, great service from wonderful human beings. If you're looking for magnificent food that tastes like your best attempt at Italian cuisine, you're in for a real treat here. This place feels like home and the staff reinforce a welcoming atmosphere. The food is wonderful, the pool tables are well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, drinks are cold and the vibe is killer. Fantastic spot for food or recreation in Aurora

Google
Great prices, amazing staff, exceptional tables. What more could you ask for? Unless you have children and are bringing them here after 9, you won't be disappointed. Best pizza in town unless you are diabetic, then you shouldn't be eating out anyways. The drinks are above expectations, the atmosphere is slightly above where it needs to be. Very good job Piazzas

Google
Went here on a Friday night and it was pretty impressive! At first glance its dark and it doesn't have a lot of windows, but that's OK once you get in its very cozy and great for billards. I saw some families too. I got the fettuccine because I read they were known for Italian food. It was very good and the garlic bread was delicious. The atmosphere was great for a relaxing drink after a long week. Customer service was amazing! We were checked on a lot. The house made marinara was awesome too. Very clean and I would definitely go back to hang out.

Yelp
If you're looking for a chill place to wind-down on a Sunday night, catch a few games on tv, have a beer or two, and eat some DELICIOUS pizza, this is your spot! There's an area set up with pool tables too! I'm sure it's more lively at different parts of the week. Cher was so friendly and was so great at recommending food and taking care of our table. Seemed like she was running the show all by herself minus the kitchen! The pizza was absolutely delicious, made to order, took maybe 25 minutes and it was totally worth it. Would absolutely come back!

Yelp
Ordered a pizza- wasn't the best wasn't the worst. The sauce seemed a little salty for my taste. Thought the dough was ok. Not sure about the meatball. Got my check- and found something on it called a convenience fee. That turned the review from a 3 to a 2. I should have taken it out of the tip I decided as I drove home. I hadn't even decided if I was going to pay with cash or credit. Had to google what a convenience fee might be when I got home. First time trying the place and have lived in the neighborhood for twenty plus years. At one time I think it had been a nightclub. Ever since they closed the Safeway- no real reason to visit that strip mall. So being in the corner- and at one time it had blacked out windows. Had searched for pizza and decided to try it. Truly its a pool bar that has some food. Still trying to decide what the vibe of the place was. I am not sure if I will go back If I do it will be for the cheese chop or burgers. Might have been a little loud on the music to have a proper date conversation. Not sure what the volume was like in the second room. I sat at the bar since I was by myself.

Aeryn L.

Yelp
Where can you get a pizza, pasta, beer AND play pool? PIAZZA'S! I can't speak to any of the items listed because I ordered meatballs and cheese bread which were all delicious. The staff, amazing! I'm coming back to try the pizza!

Yelp
First sports bar I've came across with Italian food on the menu! We love coming here. All the pastas I've tried = bomb! The ranch BOMB!

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Awesome place to grab some good food, a beer and some sports in the heart of aurora. Tons of screens and pool tables as well. We came here late on a Sunday wanting some pizza, Cher was quick to welcome us and recommend some great pizzas. All of their food looks delicious. Their wings are great too! Cher was an awesome server and truly makes everyone feel like a local. Definitely will be here often for some sports and cold beer.

Susan M.

Yelp
Husband stopped in because he said the other restaurants within walking distance were closed due to the snow. He said there were just a few people inside and the staff were extremely rude which I believe as they had been on a previous visit with myself. The pizza both times was one of the worst. Threw it away as it was that bad. Bland and questionable toppings. I would have told him not to waste our money if I'd known. Neighborhood dive not the cool neighborhood dive bar for sure.

Yelp
Not terrible food. Service was good. Food and the pool table was kind of expensive. But it was not a bad atmosphere!

Yelp
Debbie is Piazza's!!!!!!!! Amazing food, amazing service. We love going there on our lunch dates. Try the pizza it is awesome. Thanks Debbie...

Yelp
The food here is incredible, the drinks are strong and cheap and the staff is always helpful and friendly, amazing local place to watch the game or shoot some pool. Pro tip, get the house made Carolina BBQ sauce that they have, it pairs well with darn near everything

Yelp
The pizza was great & we'll be back! 1st time in today pleasantly surprised by Charlie (behind the bar) introducing himself with hand shake & hello provided details about the place. It's a pool bar (12tables I believe) so naturally they were hosting a Saturday pool tournament & I could see the players respectfully having fun! We aren't pool players tbh but would come again for great pizza , great service, watch some games on TV & catch some great pool players in action too!

Yelp
Talk about a day-ruiner. I was stupid to go by a recommendation I saw on Next Door, but the guy seemed to know his stuff. I decided to order a pizza after having a nice visit from my son on Mother's Day. The kid had a long drive ahead of him; couldn't stay for dinner. I get to the place and it took me a minute to realize NO ONE HAD A MASK ON. So now I'm terrified. I got out of there quickly, but not before I paid $16 for a margherita pie. When I picked up the box it weighed about six ounces. Bad sign. Upon opening the box at home, I saw a round piece of bread with a hint of sauce and a few paper-thin slices of cheese. It was cold. This thing tasted as bad as it looked. I wanted to call Piazza's to tell them I was on my way back for a refund, but I am not risking my life again. I'm not vaccinated yet!! This was the worst "pizza" I ever ate in my life. Avoid at all costs.

Yelp
Sherrie was friendly and made me a perfect cocktail. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. A gem in the neighborhood. Highly recommend! Lots of places to sit, pool tables and TVs to watch sports.

Yelp
They have an unbeatable happy hour that goes until 6pm M-F and their food is absolutely incredible. You may not know it when you first walk in but they home make a ton of their tasty food. We love the meatball pizza, their bbq sauce, the staff is friendly, it really is a place we continue to come back to!

Christina M.

Yelp
Love this place! Great ambiance, great pool, great Italian food, great people, amazing staff

Geoff K.

Yelp
We did not enjoy the pizza, but the takeout service was very friendly. Overall, I would not recommend the place.

Yelp
Great local hangout! Tons of pool tables and nice selection of beers on tap (even local taps). Great food - pizza came out FAST and delicious. Holly was amazing and never let our glasses get empty! Would definitely recommend

Kimberly G.

Yelp
I haven't been over this way since former bar - amazing service and food - pizza snob from east coast .... One of best pizzas I've had here in Colorado
google avatar

Charles B.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Good quality, well maintained tables, good food, friendly servers... I'll be cooking much more often!
google avatar

Melissa Z.

Yelp
Great sports bar with awesome food! Plenty of pool tables and space to hang out with friends. The staff is very friendly and we will for sure be back! We started off with wings and mozzarella sticks, so much flavor and not too much breading on the mozzarella sticks.. yum! Then we ordered a couple pizzas and the mostaccioli primavera. So much flavor, went home WAY too full. Great place to watch games and hang with friends and shoot some pool.

Mitch S.

Yelp
This place is cool, but the Bartender Shar is why me and my people love it! She's the best. Kind, patient, professional, knows her stuff, and she's fun! 5 Star service.

Jody J.

Yelp
Piazzas food was average for Italian. Better than Fazolis but definitely middle of the road Italian. Chicken tenders were small and not sauced. I did not ask for sauce on the side that's how they were given. Pizza was good but very salty and could not taste the sauce. Desserts were good. And the actual pasta dish was kinda watery and not flavorful but it is a pool hall bar slash/ Italian restaurant. If you are expecting mangianos you might look elsewhere. But for bar Italian much better than Fazolis.

John E.

Yelp
Good food open late diamond tables Great place great lighting on the tables Friendly atmosphere strong pool players and good action Highly recommended

Yelp
Today we hunted for good Italian food in Aurora and it did not disappoint. We went to Piazza's Italian Restaurant and Sports Bar. My honey and I talked about their house sauce all evening. And I did not forget a margarita for national tequila day! To set the scene you walk into a dimly lit bar. To the right is pool and to the left is a bar and tables. Yelp had it rated high but I was thrown beyond my expectations! Amazing Italian food. We got the sweet chili wings, fried raviolis, Colorado pizza, and Mostaccioli pasta! We were told some of the best items on the menu and they were not wrong! friendly staff will be back.

Yelp
I'm so glad I found this place. The staff member was very hospitable and attentive. I ordered their food online and their pizza, pasta, and wings were great. I can't wait for Covid to be over so I can dine inside. It's a new restaurant and I really want them to succeed. Will def. be back.

Yelp
My wife was craving pizza so we thought we'd check out this new spot. We got their Colorado Pizza, which is elk sausage, red peppers, and onions. It was fantastic! The service was just as great. Th owner came out and checked with us to make sure our food and service was as good as I said it was They have a lot of pool tables and a nice set up. I would definitely recommend Piazza's to anyone in the Aurora area.

Jim B.

Yelp
Was here for pick up last night before avs game they were right up front with no room left in the entire place so take out or delivery only great management.. In the spirit of a truly great pizza kitchen we have the product just no sitting room. On arrival the place was packed something must be right. Staff took me promptly to pick up order was on time like clock work product was correct (box was opened to verify). The wings were wings the mild buffalo still had some kick, I like that, the pizza rivaled the best pizzas I've eaten in both Chicago and New York, and I lived in Chicago so don't be afraid if you see some one off review there can be bad days but that's not what our group saw on a extremely busy day. Very professional can't wait to return.

Bushcraft B.

Yelp
Great tables and food! Competitive atmosphere on league nights. Good in house tournaments and events.

Sally K.

Yelp
This restaurant was recommended to us. We were flying in and it was an easy drive from the Denver airport. We are so glad we went. Pizza was delicious!!! We got the cheese pizza and the Jerry's special meatball pizza to go. We also got hamburgers while we waited and they were delicious as well. We will go back for sure. It was fun to watch all the pool players too. Highly recommend the food!
google avatar

Justine K.

Yelp
Fun sports bar with tons of quality, well maintained pool tables! The owners are friendly and welcoming, staff is attentive and knowledgeable. The best part is the food! The Chopped Cheese sandwich is a NY style cheesesteak, likely the best I've ever had. Italian sausage sandwich is also excellent. Thin, crispy French fries and a green salad you might find at a 5 star restaurant.
google avatar

Kurt F.

Yelp
Really glad I came across this place. It's a great traditional sports bar with a good beer selection, food, and prices. Tons of pool tables inside too. The food selection is your traditional sports bar food - we had burgers, chicken sandwiches, and wings - all of which were great. We'll be back!
google avatar

Jason T.

Yelp
Great atmosphere for playing pool and hanging with friends. Love the vibe at this place and the food is always excellent. Colorado pizza is my favorite.
google avatar

Courtney G.

Yelp
Nice little spot! Definitely will be back! I was getting an oil change at grease monkey and decided to pop in for a quick lunch. Had the half meatball sub with fries and a draft beer for under $12. Can't wait to go back for dinner.
google avatar

Kathryn J.

Yelp
Sat at a table near the bar for 15 minutes without anyone coming by. There were 3 employees working who couldn't even take ten seconds to say they would be with us shortly, instead they stood to the side of the bar talking and laughing with each other. It was dead so there was no reason they couldn't greet us in any way. Will never return.

Safi M.

Yelp
Been coming here for a bit more than a year, and have to say how much I love the place. The food is great, good people, and the owners really care about creating a positive environment for their customers.

Anthony R.

Yelp
Really good food. Pizza is very good. Apps are spot on. The customer service was top notch. Brandi did a great job. Didn't expect much as far as the food aspect but this place surprised me.

Haley F.

Yelp
Great local place close to home and Buckley AFB. The Colorado Pizza was fantastic. Friendly and attentive service. Will definitely return. Glad to add this place to our list of locally owned places to eat at and support.

Bill E.

Yelp
This was my first visit to Piazza's and it was for a takeout order Ordered the "The Piazza" which had a good balance of ingredients, flavor and texture of crust was fine as well. The only deal breaker for us was the heavy handed salt in the sauce. Wife especially has to be mindful of her salt intake and yes most pizzas are somewhat high in sodium depending on the vendor. Unfortunately this one is on our avoid list.

Robin A.

Yelp
Saw something on the Next Door app that led me to believe this place was gonna have fantastic pizza. They handed me the box and it weighed nothing. Not a good sign. For $16 I expect some heft. I get home, open the box and it looks like bread with spaghetti sauce poured over it. Barely any cheese... I mean, it looked awful. It was cold, too, and I got to the place right on time to pick it up. (It tastes as bad as it looks.) On top of this nightmare, no one in the entire place had a mask on. I'd go back and demand reimbursement, but I'm too scared to set foot in this place ever again. What a mistake and a total bummer for Mother's Day!! Also, if my review says I'm from Cali, I'm not. I'm from New York and this pizza SUCKS.
