"Pica is centrally located on Ubud's bustling Jalan Dewi Sita strip, but its small and cozy set-up means that it's easily missed. With only seven-or-so tables, Pica is an intimate little restaurant, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in terrific South American food. Led by chef Cristian Encina, Pica has a great menu that includes starters like barbecue tiger prawns with a cashew crumble and Lombok baby scallops with grana padano. Mains include Peruvian roast chicken breast with a red wine glaze. Pica does good cocktails—cucumber Martinis, passionfruit caipirinhas—but the best thing to order here is wine, which is all chosen by the Chilean owner. Here, the selections pair perfectly with the South American food." - Regan Stephens

A very good find in Ubud Food was just excellent coming from someone who has visited Ubud multiple times. The octopus and the scallop starters were both good. And the pork belly with crispy skin was great. Dessert was good too. Yes it’s a bit more pricey than many of the other places but if you want good modern interesting food this is place. Loved it. Skip the fine dining and spend your money here. Well done team!

Amazing dining experience here in Ubud. Really delicious complex flavours. Everything was done well. The tomato salad was extraordinary. Maybe the best salad ever, and I really love tomatoes. Ambiance was also beautiful. Would recommend and return. Thank you Pica!

The best meal of our vacation was at this restaurant. It was almost a Michelin experience food wise. All of the dishes we tried were a masterpiece. I don’t remember a food making such an impression on me in a long time. Simply bravo!

They had interesting an inventive cocktails (the tropical Spiced was wonderful), great food (can highly recommend the BBQ Octopus, Pork, and Tres Leches cake). They were really on the ball and accommodating for dietary, one of the party was gluten free and they did an exclellent job communicating what was and wasn't. Really highly recommend!

Food for me is just so so, we ordered all the menu in review said its good. The goat cheese you still can smell the “goat smell” The mojito that i ordered not good or maybe its just not my cup of tea. The foods and drinks prices quite pricey

Food was delicious, best meal we have had in Bali in 3 weeks. Might be because flavors are different from what we are used to and quality was exceptional. We had 2 entrees (Ceviche and Goat Cheese Soufflé), Arroz con Mariscos to share as a main and desserts (tres leches and leche asada). Everything was awesome! Be aware is the MOST expensive restaurant we have been in Bali. I understand is high quality food and flavors but service and space (restaurant itself) is average, not amazing views or anything else to justify the price. We paid 60 Australian dollars per person for what I just listed plus drinks (2 juices, 1 beer and water to share) for 3 people and we could have ordered more food as portions are not big. If you can afford it, do not hesitate to try this delicious food!!

Nothing short of amazing. The food is top notch with amazing flavors. Better than all the 8 course dinners I’ve had in Bali.

6/5 stars if possible! Small intimate restaurant with superb food. Our party of 2 ordered scallops, duck ravioli, ceviche, the 16hr pork belly, 2 desserts and 4 cocktails between us, all for about $150-180usd. Service was also excellent. Quality of food and cocktails were simply excellent. Easily the most enjoyable meal in Bali we had. Definitely worth coming down to try this place out, even if you're not in Ubud, make a trip for dinner! Update: We returned 1 year later and the standard has maintained! Despite staying almost 2 hours away, the commute there was totally worth it, even at a return trip!
