Google
Very Best coffee in our whole road trip!! In over 3000 miles. Sooooooo great, with real milk, or oat milk option as well. Cinnamon scroll is incredible, cookies are amazing! Ripping into the sourdough loaf as we drive, so great, made fresh on promises, still warm, yummy crunchy crust. You will be so pleased you stopped here, thank you beautiful staff for your happy outlook

Google
The coffee was great, it was almost a good experience till the avocado toast hit my table. It was spread with a very thin layer of supposedly avocado but there’s nothing avocado about it. It’s a sourdough with pickles (at least it tasted like that) yeah it was bad. Most of the tables were around the restroom which sometimes gives the smell stronger than the coffee. Maybe it’s a good place to get coffee to go!

Phil Weber

Google
fantastic single origin espresso and pourovers. Large selection of well roasted coffee. It's clear they make sure to get quality green and roast it accordingly. I'm excited to buy from their online store and try everything.

Val Shop

Google
Flavorful coffee. I ordered a latte with pecan milk and it was incredible. My husband ordered the horchata cold brew, which he said was flavorful and not overly sweet. We also had the avocado toast and a slice of onion bread, both were excellent. Staff was accommodating and restrooms were clean. If you're thinking of stopping to get some delicious coffee this place is a definitive must.

Google
In a bit of an oddly industrial location that is also a bit industrial inside. But there’s lot of seating and tables available. We got our coffees and cookies to go however. The cookies were phenomenal, chewy with a bit of crunch. My cortado was a bit milk heavy, the cappuccino was good though.

Jonathon Sepp

Google
Great coffee, environment, and staff. Currently drinking their Horchata Cold Brew and it's awesome. I hope it stays on the menu and/or gets bottled!

Quetzali Sanchez

Google
Amazing staff and amazing coffee! I went to look for a bag of coffee and they were extremely helpful in helping me pick something that I would love! They also made me a pour over which was so sweet. Amazing business!

James Mcneill

Google
First time here. What a Gem! Unfortunately just passing through. This place has an inviting atmosphere and wonderful tasing coffee. Only critique is to update the food offerings, written on the glass, prior to starting the day. I will definitely make my way back some day!

Yelp
The best coffee in Las Cruces. I've been to hundreds of coffee shops across the world and I'd happily rank Picacho in my top 10, if not top 5. They have interesting beans with notes that you probably wouldn't think of, but they work. Their baked goods are also extremely good. They offer student discounts for NMSU and Burrell students. Customer service is 11/10 and has always been top tier. Highly recommend if you're a local or just passing through.

Yelp
Perfect spot to get your morning coffee fix. We tried their latte and avocado toast. Latte was so delicious; made just the way I like it with touch of honey. They had oat milk as milk alternative. The avocado toast was really good too. Excellent service and friendly environment. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
The best of the best in New Mexico! The vanilla cinnamon latte with oat milk is AMAZING ..clearly, the stand alone winner for coffee in Las Cruces, NM. Being from Southern Cali and accustomed to frequent boutique coffee shops that have a plethora of signature coffee drinks, it was so nice to finally find one (1) in Las Cruces. The staff are very friendly and ensure that you receive the drink best for you...consistent taste for the drinks which is rare to find. I really enjoyed the seating area that allows you to get some work done while enjoying the smooth coffee. Top Coffee pick in Cruces and very few come close.

Yelp
Thanks you! Very friendly service and I loved the atmosphere. If I was still a student this would be such a great place to study. The smells coming from this shop are also amazing, a complex smell of coffee roasting and caramelization (I think). Not sure what it is but I love it. I had an Iced Dirty Chai that was perfectly spiced. Not too much or too little. My husband had a regular latte and he liked it too. It was well balanced. Next time I'll pick up a bag of their whole beans to take home with me.

Jordan J.

Yelp
Workers were very kind and helpful. Great atmosphere for getting homework done and studying, free wifi too! Got a vanilla and honey iced latte and was very tasty!

Yelp
Coffee was very good. I love great coffee and this place did not disappoint! Easy on and off the 10 fwy and good easy parking. The orange cranberry scone was still warm from the oven and delicious. Must try if traveling or in town. Very friendly atmosphere as well.

Yelp
Stopped by while I was on a road trip. Cute spot! Lots of seating, friendly vibes, coffee tasted great. Great place to check out
google avatar

Yelp
We had some awesome espresso drinks here and happily took a bag home of decaf to enjoy over the holiday! Great space, lots of seating. Absolutely recommend!

Lauren B.

Yelp
The cherry coffee was amazingly good! It was very subtly sweet and smooth. Loved the vibes and seating variety. Wish we lived nearby to visit more often.
google avatar

Susanna L.

Yelp
Love this place. Delicious, high quality coffee. They also have dank ass Toast made with fresh bread in house. I've tried their cortado, cold brew, and butter toast so far. I love the decor and seating options. Rest assured, I will keep coming back to this place. Damn their bread is so good. That is all I can say

Eleazar M.

Yelp
Quality coffee roaster with great variety! Also, nice spot to enjoy a cup of joe with friends. Staff is friendly and attentive to their customers. Highly recommend.

Kevin M.

Yelp
Loved it! Got a few roasts and they were amazing, the peach is actually really peachy. Good pour over and the food was on point. Absolutely will return and it's worth the drive from anywhere in LC.

Julie S.

Yelp
Great coffee great service. Cute vibes with lots of seating playing music from a record player. Loved it and would return!
google avatar

Don K.

Yelp
Had to try this local roaster that's so highly rated. Loved their industrial decor sprinkled with local art. They also have a coffee table made from the insides of what looks like a harpsichord? Very cool. Did I mention that they also have a small selection of vinyl albums for sale in the back? Ordered the espresso and it was very well drawn on their Rancilio. Nice crema with a dark lasting taste. Needed that for the long drive ahead. Their Cinnamon roll was also quite tasty. Wish I had more time to spend here. Will return though whenever in the area!

Yelp
The fresh baked bread was a nice touch to this local roaster. Great mocha! There was yoga going on in the back room. I bought some beans to go for my mom who was cat-sitting for me while I was out with friends on w little adventure. Bags of beans ranged from about $15-$27.
google avatar

Luis C.

Yelp
Fantastic local coffee. Extremely friendly and perfect atmosphere to ad the mountains . Great bar to sit and work or just listen to music that embraces the ambiance of this place. Perfect!
google avatar

Yoana R.

Yelp
The matcha latte was delicious! I also got the blueberry lemon muffin and it was exactly that! The service is great, we had a questions about the Pour Over coffee since we've never herd of that item on a menu. They have a map where you can see where people have traveled from. The ambiance is very welcoming!
google avatar

Leslie W.

Yelp
I wanted this place to be a "go to" spot for my fresh ground, locally roasted coffee. Sadly, it is not. I have been buying from another local roaster as they are close to my office. I will continue to purchase from there. All I'm gonna say is when you ask for the beans to be ground and the person behind the counter asks rather snootily "You don't have a grinder at home?", you should turn around and walk out. The coffee I got was supposed to be their darkest roast. Folger's is darker. I am unimpressed and not one to put myself through an interrogation of whether I have a grinder at home - I do - because they think I shouldn't have them grind it for me when I buy. So bye.

Mannie S.

Yelp
So~~~~~~~~ happy that they serve coffee for here now! My go-to place for coffee when I am in town! A REAL coffee shop makes a huge difference when it comes to the perception of a city when I travel. Glad that Las Cruces got one.
google avatar

Marissa M.

Yelp
10/10 hands down! The staff was very kind and friendly. Desirae was very helpful and knowledgeable about the coffee and company. I believe the other female was Celeste she bakes and is barista, her baking is phenomenal. I got the vegan raspberry almond bread (I am not vegan but thought what the hell) could not tell that the loaf was vegan it was that good!! It's a definite gem in town and I'm so glad to have found it.

Jillian G.

Yelp
Best Americano out of every state on my road trip. Coffee was excellent!!! Friendly staff, clean and welcoming. So sorry they aren't in my home state.
google avatar

Compass-Rose X.

Yelp
Lovely coffee spot with ongoing live coffee bean roasting going on while you sip your latte. Loved the vibe here, a little disappointed that the pistachio latte means it's made with pistachio milk, not an actual pistachio flavored latte. A very decent espresso and we also liked the berry scones.

Robby S.

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Loved it here. Everyone was super friendly and the coffee was tasty! Nice place to work, hang out with friends.
google avatar

Ani T.

Yelp
Really good coffee! I got latte with rosemary and vanilla syrup. Their syrups are home-made! Really casual environment, you can see them roasting the beans inside.
google avatar

Chardonae J.

Yelp
Quality coffee and food. I was driving through to get to Louisiana, and stayed in Las Cruces for the night and had coffee on the brain. Looked up a place nearby and glad I came across this place. Small businesses rule. The house made bread was beyond delicious as a compliment to the coffee. I got the chocolate latte and it was so good and I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but it was smooth and got the job done! 10/10 would recommend

Tom M.

Yelp
I took a guest to PCR today at 230pm. Apple Maps showed open until 330pm. We we served our coffee in paper and was told it was because they close at 3pm. Not the same experience that I expect. They we already mopping the seating area.
google avatar

Kay B.

Yelp
Excellent cappuccino (with pistachio milk!). They have merch and coffee bags you can purchase. The space is very large with lots of seating.

Hans D.

Yelp
Really great coffee. OMG top tier. The barista ground it perfectly so I could consume my Huehuetenango at my Airbnb in Las Cruces. Bought another roast to take back to Albuquerque. Cool vibes in the shop.
google avatar

Aide M.

Yelp
The coffee was good. It was expensive but good. I usually like to drink my coffee while I enjoy a pastry, they didn't have any sweet bread when I went there, I wish they had. Lots of tables to stay there and work while you enjoy your coffee. Clean restrooms.

Karen K.

Yelp
Great coffee shop, they are currently out of the pecan/pistachio milk as they are reformulating it, they were also out of the matcha when I visited. The staff are very nice and helpful. It is a bit loud as they are grinding beans in the store, but overall has a nice vibe to it. If you are looking for a strong cup of coffee with freshly ground beans, this is the place you are looking for! I got an Americano and an iced latte and they were both delicious.
google avatar

Meg H.

Yelp
Look no further to find the B E S T coffee available for miles around! If there is a coffee shop in town or even in El Paso that you love, there is a high probability that Picacho supplies their roast! I come in bimonthly from Alamogordo to get my fix of a quality, barista made beverage & stock up on beans! I look forward to my visit every two weeks & enjoy drinking a cup of Picacho roast every day! I highly recommend this shop/roaster/group of incredible coffee making humans as friends!
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Love these indie coffee shops. This one is una very unassuming industrial area. Coffee is rich and flavorful.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
The cutest and coolest coffee shop in Las Cruces. The coffee is fantastic, too! This will be my go to place when I visit Las Cruces moving forward.
google avatar

Kyle A.

Yelp
Customer service at Picacho is incredible! They know their coffee, so kind, and really informative. Beans are great and packaging is awesome. They had the curbside option open since COVID-19 is in full force. I will definitely be back to Picacho. David was so helpful and upbeat.
google avatar

Paul A.

Yelp
Want the best coffee in Las Cruces? Go to the roaster. This should be on your regular route for coffee. I got a tour of their roasters (they have more than one) and it's so nice to see a legit operation devoted to doing things the right way. They distribute a lot of coffee to shops in the area. Come to the source and get the goods. Great staff. Friendly and skilled at making an individual pour-over coffee or a perfect cappuccino. Baked goods are just getting started (Oct 2019), and they were brilliant--ham and cheddar scones. They were starting a yoga class when I arrived! What a great place.
google avatar

Paul H.

Yelp
Haven't been able to have them make me any espresso or coffee yet. Have had the opportunity to pull some espresso from several of their micro-lots. Good stuff and I mean as good as it gets in Las Cruces. Love an espresso from a freshly ground light to medium roast coffee. Of course the locations make a difference also, as well as Organic compared to conventional growth. Thanks

Mikala H.

Yelp
Cool little hidden gem. Vanilla latte was delicious and the pour over came out great too!

David B.

Yelp
Ever had one of those moments where you eat or drink something and you're blown away by what you've missed out on so far in life? This place brings you there. With roasters churning in the background, a simple menu, and a welcoming atmosphere, Picacho is the kind of place for everyone. Wherever you're a proud Folgers drinker like me or someone who 'knows' their coffee, this is the place to go for that first sip in Las Cruces. Don't be intimidated by the blends or terms. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. Glad I chose to stop in- you will be, too.

Yelp
Stopped by on my way home back to Texas a while back. Coffee a bit overpriced but good. Aesthetic l was nice. But... Some man with mutton chops behind the bar seemed to be judging some lovely women that came into the shop. And I am not too sure the comments to the baristas he was making were appropriate. Not sure who the owner or manager is but they should address this. Mutton Chop's ego needs to be checked. So fearless to make comments behind people's back instead of to their face. Especially customers. Not how you would grow a business. Seemed pretty empty for employees to be talking like that. Paying customers are paying customers. No need to make comments or judgements on the side. Or if you need to say something, say it to their face. Only cowards say things behind people's backs. Highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Really rubbed me the wrong way. Enough to write a review, which I rarely do about places. Hope next time I can give more stars for a place that has so much potential. But a mutton chop man with a bad attitude.

Mister M.

Yelp
Got a great light roast pour over and it was excellent. Seems like a great place with 3 big coffee roasters inside. My only comment would be some the addition of some food items, they only sell coffee, but perhaps they are working on it. Great place with lovely staff and coffee too.

Holly A.

Yelp
I am a serious coffee snob! This place was recommended by a business in El Paso, TX. My husband ordered his regular drink: a miel (latte with honey and powdered cinnamon). He also had a pastry and avocado toast (made with a huge slice of homemade bread and topped with everything seasoning). I ordered an oat milk latte with homemade cardamom syrup. I am GF and they had homemade almond flour cookies. Our two lattes, the espresso shots we had in El Paso, the pour-over I ordered to go were all so smooth! I swear my latte was the best I've had in my life! This place doesn't look fabulous from the outside, but it's worth a stop! Staff was nice too.

Joseph H.

Yelp
Great coffee roaster in Las Cruces. The owner and staff are super friendly and fun to chat with. I love the record player playing great jazz and indie music and the local art and handmade stuff for sale. Highly recommend!

Mike H.

Yelp
I called the number on a Saturday and the fellow who answered was very kind. Unfortunately, he was in El Paso for the weekend, but he did offer me a tour on Monday or the weekend if he was here. I got lucky, I found their coffee at the Co-op and bought a bag that was roasted on the 9th. So far, REALLY enjoying it! I hope everyone can support local roasters! This one is a great catch!

Yelp
Full disclosure: I roast coffee back in South Carolina. I have to say, this place is the dream. Great looking roasters, super clean operations, and an awesome atmosphere. I'm so impressed. Most importantly, great coffee! I took a mug and a bag of the Panama, Chiriqui to go!

K K.

Yelp
All of the fancy coffee drinks are fun and have their place, but if you are a true coffee aficionado, if that first sip of a perfectly roasted and brewed cup of coffee rearranges your attitude and helps to brighten your day, then this is the coffee place you really must try. My first sip of my latte took me to my days many years ago in Caracas, Venezuela where every corner served espresso at an outdoor counter from professional machines and a "con leche grande" was pure heaven downed in about two gulps. Don't expect huge jugs of coffee, but know that sometimes "self-care" comes in a cup. Picacho Coffee Roasters are a bit off the beaten track, but worth the trip. I'm new to the area, but I'm happy to have found a delicious artisan roaster, and I'm looking forward to trying one of their cortados and Chemex pour-overs. Ahhhh..... life is good!

Madelaine R.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in town! Staff is super friendly and the environment is so fun. Love picacho so much.
google avatar

Lorrie S.

Yelp
Best coffee ... period! We live in South Florida and only order our coffee from Picacho! Never disappointed and always delicious!

Marisol M.

Yelp
Friendly and quick customer service. The product packaging is really cool and makes a great gift for travelers. :)
google avatar

Burke N.

Yelp
We have a big, beautiful Bosch coffee maker- but it is very fussy about the beans it will take. Too oily, and it doesn't feed right. Picacho's dry roasts work every time! Very flavorful- they make our morning cups a real pleasure!
