Picacho Coffee Roasters is one of those spots that immediately feels thoughtful and well put together without trying too hard.
The space is huge—couches, communal tables, and plenty of room to settle in whether you’re working, meeting up, or just hanging out. It genuinely functions as a co-working space, which is rare to see executed this well in a coffee shop. There’s a lot happening here in the best way: they sell records, infused coffee beans, merch, and even fresh sourdough loaves, giving the place a curated, community-driven vibe.
The music sealed the deal—hip-hop with strong Common / A Tribe Called Quest energy—setting a relaxed, soulful tone that makes you want to stay awhile.
Coffee-wise, I ordered the matcha with oat milk and it was smooth, balanced, and not overly sweet. Quality clearly matters here. Service was another standout: warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly without feeling forced.
They also have a bakery case with assorted items (note for fellow vegans: bakery items are not vegan), though the drink options themselves are still accommodating.
Overall, Picacho Coffee Roasters is a great spot for quality coffee, good music, and a space that actually invites you to linger. I’ll definitely be back.
