I had not been to Piccini’s in several years, and I was not missing anything. I am saddened, and disappointed, that I raved about what a wonderful place to eat this was to our family from Philadelphia, and we picked this for our Saturday night dinner. They were way over crowded, and under staffed. We waited over 20 minutes to get our order in, and over 30 minutes to get our entree, and we got a basket of cold bread while we waited. When it arrived, it was lukewarm. We paid over $30 for an entree that didn’t even include a salad or soup, or even warm bread, but even worse.. our $34 entree didn’t even come with a side of pasta. It was chicken picatta with lump crab meat on a plate. That was it. Period! Besides the cold bread of course. When we asked why we saw other people getting salad with their entree, our server told us it was upon request because too many people were getting a salad, and not eating it. After realizing no pasta came with the most expensive dish on the menu, we asked for a side of pasta with a fra diablo sauce, which was on the menu, we were told they could not serve pasta with that sauce?? Seriously? I was embarrassed that my family spent that much money on a subpar meal that was missing the things that are even included at Olive Garden or any other Italian restaurant. It’s a shame that people spend good money on cold bread and a plate of chicken with a few pieces of crab meat, and 3 spears of asparagus. Won’t ever be recommending, or returning back here again!!!!
