My newest obsession! These pickles are absolutely out of this world! I love that it’s produced locally and tastes better than any pickle I’ve ever had!

Had the fried pickles today at Bryant Park in NYC — they were delicious!

Had their fried pickles at the Bryant Park holiday shops. They were amazing!!! It’s hard to find a decent fried pickle in the northeast…these were beyond decent. So delicious!!! Had mine with the ranch dipping sauce🥒. Worth the 10 bucks. He fried them right in front of me, and it took less than 5 minutes.

Very small place with a handful of pickle barrels and some olives and such. Sampled the garlic dill and half sours ended up purchasing the half sours which were nice and garlicky and of course sour (in a good way). Will go back to try some spicy varieties.

I've died and gone to pickle heaven, I love pickles but theres absolutely nothing better than fresh pickles and made locally, needless to say I'm in love with the place, the picked tomatoes are something I had never seen and they also have different flavored olives, oh and lots of souvenirs for you pickle lovers like me

My sister wanted to visit this place since she had gone to their stand at the Bryant Park Holiday Market in the past. They have a great selection of fresh homemade pickles, olives, and pickled vegetables. As a huge fan of pickled vegetables, I had to get a quart size. It tastes a thousand times better than the jarred variety sold in supermarkets. I highly recommend coming here to experience real fresh pickles and pickled vegetables! You won't go back to the prepackaged stuff after sampling their selection.

their pickles are so so good!!! the only thing is that i bought full sours and they tasted fizzy😔maybe i bought them later so they fermented a little too much. the super spicy is AMAZINGGG absolute favorite

Pickle me Pete in this location is only here for the Bryant Park winter fest. It is from 10/26/23-1/21/24. Monday-Friday 11 am-8 pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am-8 pm. The shops are located in Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park b/w 40 and 42nd Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues in NYC. Since 2009, Pickle Me Pete has produced the freshest pickles in the New York metro area at various events, farmer's markets and more. They have a full line up of pickles and olives and fried pickles too! My teen daughter loves this place as she learned about it on Tik Tok.Pickle Me Pete is at W23 location in Bryant Park during the hholidays. Of course, we had to get the flight of pickles which has pickles from wasabi and horseradish to half sour and sour!! I'm not even an avid pickle fan and I love them!

I was so pumped to visit this place after reading about it online, offering a delightful pickle flight - an amazing invention! Located at the Bryant Park Holiday Market, the variety was impressive, and what stood out most was the extra spicy pickle, my personal favorite. Surprisingly, despite the online popularity, there was no line during my visit, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you're a pickle enthusiast, this place is a must-try for its inventive pickle flight concept and flavorful selections.

The fabulous pickles that you find at street fairs and markets can be found right in Hicksville at their small storefront. You can pull right up to the door and run in. (right near Popei's the seafood place) These are delicious and reliable pickles, always with a crunch and the variety of flavors is amazing. I think they are consistantly the best ones out there. Love the garlic dills, wasabi & horseradish. The extra really hot ones are no joke, I love spicy//hot food and these were impossible for me to eat. Great to keep in the fridge.

I first heard about Pickle Me Pete at the Bryant Park winter market. The pickles were so good and crunchy. We also got the fried stickles at the winter market and they were AMAZING! I also got the pickle flight. They were all so good! I also ended up getting a quart of the horseradish, a quart of the bread and butter chips, and a large kosher dill. I recently went to the store in Hicksville. They had a lot more variety than at Bryant Park, including sauerkraut, pickled vegetables, and pickled green tomatoes. They also have a lot of cute pickle lover swag like bucket hats, aprons, and T-Shirts. I got a quart of horseradish and a quart of the wasabi. I cannot emphasize how good these pickles are! The store is a must-visit for any pickle lover on Long Island!

The pickle is Good and the lady is super nice.. trying to look for a place in Long Island compare to pickle guys and yes this place can but only pickle and olives... 1. There is a crunch to the pickle 2. Sour taste isn't overwhelming 3. The spicy is spicy yet I have not tried the ridiculously spicy.. Overall this place is a recommended business that I would suggest.. my opinion, don't judge

I initially had heard of this place when it was at Bryant Park in the city for their Winter Market. I had gotten the fried pickles there, which unfortunately are not at this location, but as a lover of pickles, this cool little shop is a great place to try a bunch of different kinds. Prior to coming here, I had no idea there were so many different kinds of pickles (or olives, but I'm not really a fan of olives in general). The staff here is fantastic and let us try as many as we wanted and talked to us about the different kinds and let us know what they were like and gave us an idea of what went into them. This shop has a cool offering that is a "flight" of pickles. You get to try a bunch of different types of small pickles at a reasonable price. If you're in the area and like pickles at all, I definitely recommend stopping in and trying them out!

Second year coming to Pickle Me Pete at Bryant Park Holiday Shops. Yes, $8 is a lot for ten fried pickles on a stick, but they're damn good fried pickles. I guess it makes sense that the pickles are on a stick since that makes it easier to eat while walking around, but I wish they weren't on a stick. The problem is that they are dipped in batter after the pickles are put on the stick, so the center of each pickle is stuck to the skewer after it is fried. Now when you go to pull off a fried pickle, part of the breading gets left behind and makes it even more difficult to get the pickles farther down off the stick. Just put the loose pickles in a paper fry container and let us eat them with our hands. The pickles themselves are fried really well. They're just the right thickness to have a nice crunch while still having a good pickle flavor. You're given the choice of a dipping sauce with your fried pickle skewer and we went with honey mustard. The honey mustard they give out is sort of an odd color and flavor. They also do pickle flights for $5, which will be the next thing I get from them. It looked like a set of 5 whole pickles, one of each type they make.

This the real deal if you like pickles (and I love pickles-especially sour ones)...I had gotten some pickles from Pickle Me Pete a year or two ago at a large pickle festival in NYC and these were hands-down the best pickles out of all the vendors which stuck with me. It is hard to find good sour pickles these days especially in super markets and regular delis. I was in Long Island the other day visiting a friend and made a special trip on my way home to Westchester to stop by the store. I believe I met Pete the owner and he was super friendly and welcoming, even letting me sample some of the pickles! I love their sour pickles--they are crispy, fresh and have the perfect amount of sourness. I also got the Sweet Chipotle Chips which are super unique and have the perfect balance of sweetness, followed by a slight spicy taste at the end which is fantastic. They have a great selection and I am so happy I made the stop by the store in-person. Their prices are very fare as well and they make sure your container is packed to the brim with pickles. This is definitely worth the trip if you are anywhere in Long Island!

I travel to New York several times a year and eat myself through the various urban markets each trip. I made a repeat visit to the Bryant Park holiday market with another stall as my destination but Pickle Me Pete stopped me in my tracks. I love pickles. I make my own pickles. I even sell pickles as part of a small business I run. One of the things my ex had going against him was he doesn't like pickles. My standard for pickles is pretty high. I ordered the pickles on a stick and added on a "pickle flight" for an extra $5. Despite the ridiculous hipness of calling a plastic bag of pickles a "flight" it was a great idea because I like to try everything and sample lots of flavors, so this gave me an easy way to try it all. First, let's talk about the fried pickles. The fried pickles were stunning. I immediately knew: this was the absolute best thing I ate in New York all week. The thick dill pickle slices were snugly Coates with a tasty coating. It was a perfect balance. It was not greasy. And I got a lot of attention eating it from curious strangers, which was fun. It was so good I wanted to become a volunteer hawker, handing out free samples to the masses. Next, the pickle flight. These pickles were also amazing. All made from small Kirby cucumbers, they had a variety of clean flavors and amazing texture, that sought-after combination of crunch and later softness. I enjoyed all of the flavors. In fact, it's 4:30 am in Alaska and I'm eating the leftover pickles right now...yum, yum, yum.

I would say I'm a pickle connoisseur, and these are the best pickles I've had yet. Full sour and horseradish are amazing. Location in Hicksville is awesome. A must try.

I found out about Pickle Me Pete from Bryant Park during the December shopping market a few years ago. Excellent, excellent EXCELLENT pickles at decent prices. The staff in the booth were friendly and professional.

My daughter ran into my room this morning, jumped on my bed and said, Thank you Thank you! You got me the best pickles ever. They were so delicious. She only left two in the container. We will be heading back out there for more today. She likes the regular pickles, but my favorite are the spicy pickles. When I tasted them, everything I tried was my new favorite.

I heard about pickle me pete through a facebook video, and learned that they would be in Bryant Park's winter village. I waited in line for about 15 minutes and had the best fried pickles I have ever tried!! The pickles themselves were delicious and perfectly crispy, fried, and hot on the cold winter day. I got ranch on the side and it was perfect for dipping. Im really hoping they'll be back in Bryant Park next winter, I'll definitely be in line again!

Hmm, Who would have thought that I would get excited for the opening of a new pickle store? It's a nice thing given that I won't have to worry about them infringing on business from the old pickle store, since we never had one before. Pete's little shop here in the industrial area of Hicksville has a nice selection of olives, pickles, pickled tomatoes, sauerkraut and pickled vegetables. Now I'm not one for the taste of olives myself, but I got a nice selection for the family, as well as some pickles, and a nice quart of my own favorite, the half sours. Good old-fashioned taste in these pickles, and of course, as always, no calories. Sounds like a winning combination to me. I shall be back for more when these run out.

I love their insanely spicy pickles it is the most spiciest pickle I ever had and I love spicy. I just found our they deliver because I live in MD and I am looking forward to trying the other three flavors I ordered. I will definitely come back on this review for updates. I'm excited and I hope they ship fast because I've been craving their pickles!!!

Always my first stop at Byrant Park winter village. Ordered some of these amazing fried pickles with ranch today. No line (since the village just opened this week)..and my pickles were ready in about 2 minutes. So juicy. So crunchy. So perfect. Most importantly, served with a warm genuine smile.

Just: Half (new) sour Full Sour Kosher Dill Horseradish Pickle Super Spicy Ridiculously Spicy Pickled Green Tomato Bread & Butter Chips and Sweet Chipotle Chips From a little cask-filled kiosk in beautiful Bryant Park, Pickle Pete offers up Brooklyn born, barrel-cured pickles one at a time. He also vends them in quart to-go containers, by the platter-full, or - if you're really feeling it - by home delivery where you can really indulge that pickle craving via a pickle-of-the-month type offering that'll sate you with up to 3 quarts monthly for the entire year. Yowza. The pickles? They're damned good. I tried a Horseradish Pickle, a Super Spicy Pickle, and a Half Sour Pickle (a new favorite of the owner) and there wasn't an errant taste sensation in the bunch. I'm feeling the pickle love here.

So I tried the fried pickles here at the stand in the Bryant Park winter village. I eat fried pickles quite often and I can say that I wasn't super impressed. They were good that's for sure but there was something that was off about them. I felt that the pickle was mushy & I was looking for a nice crunchy, snappy pickle and it just wasn't.... also the ranch was not that good and the sauce options were lacking....

Last week I went to the polish fair in riverhead. I had the opportunity to meet the folks from pickle me Pete. I bought a variety of pickles and loved them. The pickles are fresh and so crunchy. When I got home I yelped them and realized they're just a few towns over. I went there today. I bought lots of pickles. My favorite are the half sour, kosher dill and the "hot" pickles. They have two different kinds, I like the medium hot ones. I also picked up a variety of olives. Also very good. I'll go back and I do recommend.

Picked me up some of Pete's pickles from the Japanese Ramen festival. My go to are the half sours. I can eat the the container by myself. $8/ container. They have some exotic concoctions like wasabi pickles and super hot ones. Wish they had some free samples to try. That'll be worth an extra star. :)

I was at a street fair Sunday in Manhattan on 6 ave. Pickle Me Pete were there. I was surprised by the different flavors of pickles. I decided to get the a big container (quart) of the horseradish pickles. I ate one when I got home. It wasn't too harsh from the horseradish. Nice sour cornichon pickles.

The fact that there's a pickle place located walking distance from my house is not ok. Well actually, it's fantastic who am I kidding. Am I the only one who loves a good pickle ? The pickles here are delicious! I'm a full sour kind of girl and it's hard to find them in the supermarket usually you can just find bread and butter and dill. Their full sours are great! Pucker up. I also really like the chipotle chip ones (sweet then spicy) and the horseradish one is good too. If you like horseradish (it's the ingredient in cocktail sauce fyi) and sour pickles give them a try. If you're unsure of what to get they do give out samples for you to try. If you're nervous about getting the quart don't worry they last awhile in the fridge. Owners are very nice. They also sell olives, sauerkraut, green tomatoes and I'm pretty sure they had pickled mixed veg too. You can't miss this place there's a giant pickle painted on the garage door and a pickle bench outside. Located right next to ultimate gym. The one downside? Parking is terrible!!

Bought a quart of half sours at the Bryant Park Christmas Market. They are so crispy and delicious that I am planning to go back for more before the market closes on 02 January. SO GOOD!!

THESE PICKLES ARE TO DIE FOR! I am a huge pickle fan so I was excited to try these when we were walking through Bryant Park during Christmas time, when they have all of the shops set up. I went with the Ridiculously Spicy option and let me tell you, it had my lips burning. I am a person who LOVES spicy foods also, so this was greatness when their pickle was able to burn my lips. This does not happen as much as I like it to, so props! I wish there was one in Texas where I lived because I would visit often.

I missed out on fried pickles at the Bryant Park Christmas Village last year, so I was super excited when I checked the list of vendors and saw they would be back this year. I waited for about 15 minutes in the cold but it was SO worth it! I had a stick of delicious, hot, salty, crispy fried pickles with a side of ranch dipping sauce. Perfection! They were freshly made right in front of me. The stand also offered barrels of pickles in a variety of flavors. Can't wait to go back next year!

Waited in Bryant Park's village for over 30 min for these fried pickles. Let me tell you if you like pickles, it was well worth waiting. There fried pickles are absolutely to die for.

Pickle Me Pete is always at my towns fairs and festivals and we always stop here for their amazing flavored pickles and fried pickles. I love me some pickles and Pickle Me Pete never disappoints. My favorite pickles are the garlic. Super flavorful and juicy. And the fried pickles are bomb. Pickle slices perfectly coated in batter and fried to perfection served with your choice of dipping sauce. I could eat them every day!

Stopped by their store front in Hicksville and it is the cutest place! They have the best pickles and olives ever...so fresh and some unique flavors. Lynn was super sweet and helpful and I can't wait to go back. So stoked I work right down the block :) #keepcalmpickleon

Just bought a whole quart during atlantic attic a few weeks ago...Not as spicy as it use to be when I love to snack on them during 2012 but still packs some heat.. I guess too many people were complaining and not liking it.. Hope they will bring back the old spicy version.. I could use a little more kick .. Not as challenging anymore if that was the aim, i have friends who can't eat as much spicy and can finish it :O

My wife was doing some skating at Bryant Park, so I decided to grab a pickle while I was waiting. I had the super-spicy pickle, which was quite yummy. I was still hungry though, so I went back and ordered the ridiculously spicy pickle, which came with a warning from Pete himself: "It is worlds apart from the super spicy pickle." "Eh, how hot could it be?" I thought to myself and dove in. A few bites into this pickle, and I could tell it was definitely spicy. By the time I got about half-way through, I started looking around for the hidden camera. No pickle was going to kick my ass though, so I manned through it. By the time I got done eating that pickle, I thought for sure someone was going to give me a t-shirt for finishing the thing. Three hours later, my lips were still burning. Quite an experience, to say the least. If you like spicy stuff, stick with the super-spicy. Unless, that is, you lean toward tendencies of masochism.

I LOVE pickles, and it wasn't until 2 years ago that I had ever heard of or tried a fried one.. The Huntington Fall Festival was this weekend and although it rained today I went back to the Picklemepete tent to see what was up. The girl that helped us was very friendly and I must say everything was priced well. I had the fried pickles on the skewer with buttermilk ranch dressing (umm to die for?), and 4 small pickles (horseradish, 2 kosher dill, half sour) all for $9. And by small I don't mean the midgety kind, but also I don't mean huge.. (They did have reeealllyy big ones but I decided to not be a pig). My best friend was equally happy with the pickles, I wish they had a store nearby.. I'd also like to mention that I had fried pickles at both Hooters and Buffalo Wild Wings, and they don't compare to the fried pickles I had today. Kind of want to have a pickle party now lol.. They do deliver ;]

Yummmmmmmmm! Was waiting my entire trip to have a fried pickle and Petes didn't disappoint!! $8.00 for it is a little steep but it's fare food so it's expected to be a little pricey! Worth it

We bought the horseradish, wasabi, and regular yesterday at the farmers market ... so amazing!!! My fav is the horseradish...but all fantastic !

AMAZING!! Everything about this place is great if you're a pickle lover. Just the smell when you walk in has you not wanting to leave. They let you sample the pickles and they were all delicious. I am def going back here for all my pickle needs.

This review is for the booth they have set up at the Bryant Park holiday market (2015), I've never been to their store in Hicksville. I'd never heard of fried pickles before I stumbled upon their booth in Bryant Park, but knew I had to try one when I saw the small sign that read "vegan" I've had the fried pickles with their vegan ranch (which is great) and vegan honey mustard (I was told there's no honey in it). The honey mustard is so much better than regular honey mustard. It was like mustard with a hint of sweetness, instead of all sweetness with a hint of mustard flavor. The fried pickles are also amazing, they're perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. They're as satisfying as I remember fried chicken to be. My only complaint is that $7 is a bit pricey for one order of fried pickles. But I understand that it's probably not cheap to have the booth in Bryant Park to begin with. In addition to fried pickles, they also sell normal pickles. I'd love to try these but I don't think I can spend money on regular pickles over fried ones now... maybe I'll get around to trying them if I ever visit their store.

The fried pickles were great when we had them in Bryant Park. Their store, however, does not sell the fried pickles. The fried pickles can only be found at festivals. I was disappointed to hear that but I got a few half sour pickles that were delicious!

Awesome place and great variety and great price. I've been here a handful of times and the lady that helped me each time was very kind and attentive not to mention extremely knowledgeable. This place is awesome!

I had them at the Lexington Fall Festival and I got a quart for $7. We can mix and match as well! I got the regular full sour garlic and the half sours (my mom likes them). They sell pickle chips too but I like the whole pickle. They even have a website and a Long Island number for those pickle lovers!! Oh and their pickles are so good I even made fried pickles and they were awesome!!

I visited the Bryant Park location. :) I love this pickle stand. Their sweet chipotle is delicious. The super spicy was spicy and tart. I wish you could taste the pickles prior to buying but you don't need to be apprehensive. They seem to be all delicious. If you enjoy pickles, you'll love Pete's pickles :x

If I could give you 2000 stars I would have them at Queen of heaven in buffalo New York and omg are they to die for. If I would have know they were based out of nyc I would have bought a 5 gallon bucket. Try the hot garlic green tomatoes.

Pickle Me Pete ROCKS! Are you a pickle lover? Cause if you aren't you will be and if you are, you've arrived! I used to visit the other Pickle people (I asked my sis who they were and she said :no idea, they suck" - no offense to any other companies) and found pickles but never any to make me jump with glee, never any that make my mouth water at the thought of it and have me looking forward to going home, reaching into the fridge for a few crunchy pieces - but just a few, because you have to portion control or you'd eat the entire quart at once, and then contemplate drinking the juice haha. I'd most definitely save it for more pickling though. Ok, so my Absolute Favorite - Sweet Chipotle Chips They start out with the perfect balance of Sweet, Tangy and Crunchy and then end with a slow burn of spicy fire that lingers on your tongue. Back in the day (defined as late 80s, early 90s), you could go to South Street Seaport and get authentic barrel pickles. Those days are gone, but thankfully we have Pickle Me Pete. Do you know how hard it is to find real sour pickles? Not half sour...not dill...but true sour pickles? Thank you Pete!!!!! Next street fair I am totally gonna try the spicy ones.

Not the most amazing flavorful fried pickles I've ever had but still really good! I love the variety of options they offer & options of dipping sauces. I also love all the different size options offered. Definitely make a stop in if you are a pickle lover!

I bought some pickles from Pickle Me Pete at the San Gennaro Feast. I got the super spicy ones because I knew my boyfriend would love them. We have had them before (not made by Pete) and they are super spicy and delicious. For $10 I got a huge container packed full of them. I was told they deliver which is just funny to order pickle delivery but to each his own. Maybe for the pregnant lady in your life?

SWEET CHIPOTLE PICKLES $7/quart I went to the Bryant Park stall almost every week for their Sweet Chipotle Chips. O how I miss them so now that it's over. BUT! Save your pickle juice if you ever buy pickles and re-pickle them with cucmbers/celery/etc. That's how I've kept the fond memory of PIckle Me Pete in my fridge.
