My family and I came here on a short getaway. The service was amazing thanks to our server Mackenzie! Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. Everything was fresh and hot ! Make sure to check this place out during happy hour 3-6pm.

Went there for dinner and was throughly impressed! The staff was very friendly and the food delicious! We got wings for an appetizer (I forgot to take a picture of those) and they were perfectly cooked, the blue cheese they came with was amazing as well. I got the chicken tenders and can say they were delicious too. Their housemade fries make for the perfect side dish. Others at my table the Nashville Hot chicken waffle sandwich, buffalo shrimp tacos, and a cheese pizza. And they all agree that their meals were amazing. Also since I'm not 21 I couldn't try the pickle shot, however everyone else was taking about how they really enjoyed it.

Love love love Pickles! Customer service was excellent. Music is great. Food was tasty (truffle buffalo wings is an experience). Atmosphere was great all around. A great local spot and awesome place overall. This is what a gold standard pub is.

Went to celebrate my friends birthday. The drinks were good and reasonable for Ocean City. Had to park in a lot across the street. It had plenty of spots, but it was off-season, so maybe walk or take the bus to get there during the summer. Everyone was kind and prompt. Dj was good. Small dance floor, but we had fun. We got food to go and it was great. They also had a game room attached. We did not go in, but those who did looked like they were enjoying themselves. Definitely going back..

Happy hour was a hit, they served up a deal on wings and had a nice selection of beers. The menu has a lot of options. Our meal was really good, one that would bring us back again. Our server did a great job. Parking is across the street, where there is a parking lot with designated signage for the bar.

Visiting from Baltimore for a few days and stopped in on a Monday night a little after 10. I was surprised (in a good way) that there was a decent sized crowd because it’s offseason, but it was karaoke night so I’m assuming most of the crowd were regulars (also a good sign). The vibe was great, the food was really good, and the bartenders were fantastic. I’m a bartender as well and I usually don’t say anything about it when I go out because I’m not trying to get special treatment, but I’ve been in the industry for almost 11 years now so I do know good service when I see/experience it. Mackenzie, Collin, and “Reba” as they called him were all amazing. They moved with speed and efficiency which isn’t always easy in a bar that size, and they also did it while laughing and engaging with customers. I was seriously impressed, I didn’t see anyone waiting long or complaining about anything either. I’m by myself on this trip so I was hoping I would find a cool little spot to hangout at and I found that at Pickles. I would definitely recommend! As for the food, I got the mozzarella sticks and they were delicious. Was a little disappointed that there were only 3 but they’re a good size so it’s like the equivalent of 6 short ones. I also ordered wings because they were half-priced on Monday and they were really good as well. Perfect size and cooked well

Drinks and food are always good. Most bartenders are above average, Nate is the star of the show in terms of friendly easy going service. Always a good time

Great place to hang out, shoot pool, sing karaoke, eat good food, and talk with some really cool people. Not sure how it will be this summer with the non local crowd, probably insane, but I'm sure LA and the fellas can handle anyone who drinks too much and thinks they are actually made of rubber. If they couldn't, I'm sure the type of locals who hang out there would lend a hand, if needed. Great service, great food and drinks, and a great environment. I highly recommend it as a go-to if you go out!

Bro. All I gotta say is, cheesesteak, grilled onions and BEER CHEESE. You wouldn't think of finding a good ass cheesesteak in OC but damn, they GOT IT Also, to my understanding, this is the bar that locals frequent

Not very good. The server was nice and did an okay job. The food was not so good: Cheeseburger 4 out of 5 Fries 2 out of 5 - just ehhh Wings 1 out of 5 - nuclear sauce was good but wings were not cooked well. I asked for extra crispy and the were chewy Fried pickles 2.5 out of 5 - 1/2 were crispy and the other 1/2 were soggy Fried Mozzarella 3 out of 5 Quesadilla with chicken 1 out of 5 - my daughter order it with just cheese and chicken and it came out with peppers and onions. She ate 1/2 of it and isn't feeling well. I'd say this place is good for people in their 20s looking to party and not eat.

Food was good and service was great. When we walked in, the music was perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We stopped there tonight for dinner. We order fried pickles, Parmesan garlic wings, and a pizza. The food was phenomenal. The service not so much.. I would go back but would like a different server.

Omg, all the times I've been to OC I can't believe I had never been here. We came here on St Patty's weekend 2024. It was crowded but so much fun. Amazing DJ, great and reasonably priced drinks, great service. Clean bathrooms and just an overall nice vibe. And they didn't charge a cover!

I've never been here, but drove past it so many times. After listening to a podcast of a bartender that worked there years ago, we decided to finally check it out. Fun atmosphere, pub food, and some beers. The steamed shrimp were better than most places we used to go to. PB&J wings tasted great and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich on a waffle was quite good. Easy parking and a place we'd return to. Probably not every year, but on nights we want just pub-like food, we'd be back. Maybe even just for an early drink and the steamed shrimp. My wife's family gets steamed shrimp everywhere they go and most places are disappointing now. Pickles pub does it all right.

Fun place. Nice people. Good bar food. The have an attached liquor store and pool tables.

The beers are on point. Bartenders were cool. Had a catfish po boy with potato salad and was very impressed. Was expecting plain bar food not a real meal. Prices were good. Plenty of pool and others. DJ was spinning some good reggae. Good atmosphere and plenty of ladies to chat with. And it's only a Tuesday night!? WHAT!? This place is on point, awesome, and an Ocean City MUST!

Man!! We went there last night. It wasn't full but the staff was busy as hell. They were on voluntary work time. We got steak and cheese subs and tater tots. Everything was great. The staff was on the money. We couldn't believe how fast our beers got there. Our waitress was running all over the place. But somehow she kept up and didn't miss a thing. Now for the ambiance, we loved everything about the place. We will be back.

Great vibes. Very cool servers n bartenders. Good drinks and a lot of variety. Always good tunes on, great live bands on those nights, walkable location from the boardwalk-but also a parking lot. Good bar food, but trust me when I say get the scallops and crab dip!

Had a great time here the other night. Stopped in late w my sister and some friends, and had some beers and shot some pool. I used to come here years ago when it was a hole in the wall. They have long since revamped the place, but it still has that local-loved worn-in flavor. People were dancing, drinking, playing pool and other bar games like trivia and hoops. It was a great time, a fun vibe and I will def be back.

So we were visiting for the weekend and wanted to watch the ufc fight so we came to check it out. The only had preliminary fights not ppv but we ended up staying for the ambiance and the food/drink. Pickle shots were fire if you like pickles of course and live band was great. Good also very good. Just a great bar, lots of neighborhood folks having a good time. Would def come back if we get the chance to return !

Went back to Pickles again yesterday and Katie was our bartender. Everything was great again. Our nice long weekend has come to an end because work sucks and it gets in the way of all the fun we could be having in life. We're stopping at Pickles again before we leave as we have no idea when we'll be back in Ocean City. Also have to get another order of wings before leaving. This has definitively been our favorite place(and we've visited a lot of places).

If I could leave a negative review I would!!! ABSOLUTELY DIGUSTING was the food.....the wife got a salad and the lettuce was all wilted and nasty......the fried pickles.....GOT GREASE?? And the tacos were way less than desirable......I wouldn't even feed that food to my dog....im not a picky eater, this was bad.....STAY AWAY!

This review is for the off-season because this is the only time we come. During the off-season it becomes a happy locals place and that's a good thing because you get really accurate reviews from people you know and it has encouraged us to go to pickles three times since September. A particular visit of note was when four couples got together In October for lunch and we all had a great time. Our service was good and so was the food and the prices were right. Bryan was our great server. I was five days away from having back surgery and still visibly disabled. He saw this and made sure that I had very comfortable seating. He went above and beyond. What a nice guy!!! On this occasion I had the Pub burger with Potato salad and pickle. YUM! We all shared a Chicken nachos platter that was huge and a very enjoyable Pretzel platter. My SO had the Steak n bake of which he raved. The 8 of us will return.

A true mish mosh of clientele during the off season. The idea was born from curiosity and boredom. The area is spacious, accommodating, slightly grungy(men's room more so), & the pool and arcade games can keep you occupied. The menu offers a variety of easy to make and consume choices, and slightly surprising alternatives. Jalapeño poppers, and sliders, which are large portions, are a decent value and mostly tasty. It's all in what you want, or whatever. Come and enjoy PP in the OCMD.

Not many dining options during the off season, but we were super happy that Pickles was open. They have walk up bar service right now which was fine, we did sit at the bar which was great because it's a rarity for us. Our food order came out quickly and everything was delicious. We got the crabby pretzel, philly cheese steak egg rolls and Buffalo shrimp tacos. And while at pickles you have to do a "pickle" shot. They are sooooo good! But too many will make you not remember things! So be careful. The liquor store next door sells bottles of pickle shots. Yum!

We stop here on a Thursday every year while on our golf trip. Very good happy hour. Nice food specials.

We went a few nights ago. Good crowd, but not packed. Great drinks & service. Had lots of fun playing pool!

They have one of the best burgers in Ocean City. I enjoyed every bite. The staff is very knowledgeable about the food.

Horrible orange crush. No fresh orange. Simple syrup, and sprite. Worst in OC. Avoid at all costs. Cheap vodka. Complained but would not refund. Had to bargain to get another drink. Got charged the difference. OMG

Good local bar that is open year long! They have entertainment through out the week. Would rather come here than go to Seacrets. Food has gotten so much better since new ownership. Always a good time, bartenders sometimes have attitude

Top notch beer selection and the Porkys Revenge pizza was exactly what I was imagining. If you're looking for a good bar with good beer and cheap drinks it's 5 star. If your looking for family friendly dining and craft cocktails probably not the best late night spot.

We go to Pickles at night all of the time and have always had great service, even when they are very busy. We arrived about 4:30 PM, on a Sunday afternoon, with about 10 people in the place. We could not get any service from the bar tender. She gave us menus and I kept going to the bar and she was just talking to people. I went to another bar tender after waiting a while. She was on the other side of the bar. She was also talking with a couple for a long time. She told me to go back to the other side and that the first bar tender would help us. We got frustrated and decided to leave and go somewhere that we could get better service.

I thought this pub was alright and seems like a fun place to hang out. The cocktail that the bartender made for me was good but I didn't particularly like the crab dip because there were pieces of either pickles or jalapeño in the dip. If I had known that I wouldn't have gotten the crab dip. The service here was good and overall my experience here was ok.

This pub was truly a mediocre sports bar with awful food. Our waitress only stopped by the table when I flagged her down. We were seated next to 4 large trash cans (the rest of the place was reserved by another party). Our food was bland and greasy. My food was swimming in oil and the lettuce in my salad was all shriveled and brown it was very obvious that someone in the kitchen did not care. I do not recommend this place! Will not be on my "return to " list.

This bars service is abysmal. You'd think walking into such a spacious place that it would pay off. You were wrong. The employees here are horrible, and they know it too. Locals are nasty, except for a select few. Getting a drink is relatively easy if that's all your looking for, but if you're looking for good vibes this place is just f**king disgusting. I hate these people with all my heart, the employees and the bouncers are irrational and terrible people. My despise for them is so strong it's ridiculous. Come here if you want to have drinks and completely disassociate from the staff. If you are looking for any customer support, this place is horrible. I honestly would never step foot in this disgusting place. F**k them all. F**k them to oblivion.

The managers of the place harassed my family and children. I've never seen anything like this. Not only that, they wouldn't stop insulting our table. Even the waiter who was great was upset about having to clean up the mess that management made. They were drinking before their shift and throwing ice. It was unreal. Then they tried to blame us for bringing kids into the establishment. It was 7:00 and they have a kids menu. It also states that they have the restaurant open to children until 9. I will never recommend anyone go here.

Came here to watch football and baseball games during the off-season. Sat at a table by the bar for 20 minutes with no service. Figured we'd have to go the the bar and that there wasn't a server in that section. After getting our drinks from the bar, the sever came over. When we said we had just ordered from the bar because we didn't know there was a server; he responded with "sit at the bar". So we went back to the bar as clearly the only way to get timely service was via a bartender. Guess the sever didn't want to make a tip on the multiple rounds of drinks and apps. Always come here when we are in town but the service has drastically gone down l.

IVE BEEN TO ALOT OF BARS THIS IS THE WORST BAR I'VE EVER BEEN TOO ! Do not come here there very strict this is not a fun bar the staff did nothing but harass me as soon as I started coming here and I'm a local .There very ignorant people and the only thing they care about is your money DO NOT GIVE THESE PPL YOUR MONEY BETTER OFF GOING TO ANOTHER BAR. I asked them every time I come in here you guys harass me I only been in here a few times always asking for my id. So for me telling them your harassing me they banned me from the bar horrible place the food is terrible and they don't make your drinks stiff at all highway robbery.... The manger banned me for telling them there harassing me I'm a local. Also I over heard the manger call me a stupid ni**er... as soon as you walk in you need your id to register in there computer then act like they didn't do it when you start drinking messing with you

Tried to go here to play a couple games of pool and have some drinks with my friends. I am from Miami Fl and the bouncer told me my ID was fake (The same real ID I used to get through TSA earlier in the day) the bouncer confiscated my ID and told me the only way to get it back was to call the police... I asked the bouncer for the address and all he said was tell them you're and at pickles and go outside. He then opened a bag of Cheetos and sat there munching while I called 911. The police came and confirmed it was real and gave me my ID back. The bouncer never apologized for the inconvenience or embarrassment he just caused due to his lack of training. As the manager of a night club in Miami this was appalling service and I can happily say I will never be returning.

Horrible all around! Called to make a reservation before we walked over 2 miles with 5 kids. They said no problem, come in. We got there exactly at the time we said we would, and the hostess told us that they were no longer seating people, as the kitchen was 'overwhelmed'. So i explained the situation to her, that we had given our name, number of people and time and that they had told us our reservation was confirmed. She said 'i don't care, we won't seat you, kitchen is busy'. So i asked, 'can we sit and just have a few drinks while we wait?'. She said no. We were all completely shocked and frustrated! Very rude staff and why make a reservation if they won't honor it? Now with 5 hungry kids in tow; we had to find another restaurant to accommodate 10 people. Very aggravating! Definitely won't be back!

Best downtown bar in oc.. parking is easy as a large lot across the street. Plenty of craft beer as well as your favorite domestics. Bartenders no a variety of shots to get u going andosy importantly sneaky good food. The bacon me crazy is must and wings are top 3 in oc. Great for day drinking on those overcast rainy oc days

Thursday during happy hour. Been here before and have always been please. Today - Service from waitress to bartender to kitchen was excellent. Orange crushes and steam shrimp were perfect. Very fast and professional. :)

It is the off-season and barely anything is open. I walked in and, for novelty sake, ordered the angus burger with crab dip which goes by the name, The Eastern Shore. I also ordered the fries and a couple of beers. Crab dip on a burger in OCMD seemed kitschy at first, but, man, did it work! I highly recommend this choice and will be trying to replicate it at home. The fries were also top notch. It seems like I ordered some tacos a few years ago and was impressed. The bartender was friendly and attentive which isn't a given nowadays. What a pleasant surprise!

I have been here 2 times and have enjoyed all we have gotten to eat. The burgers are very good and the salads really big. They don't have a lot of staff but they still are friendly and on top of things.

I'm not one to write a bad review but I was at Pickles this weekend visiting from across the country, Arizona to be exact. I walked in with my friends Friday afternoon and showed the blonde bartender my ID, and the first words to come out of his mouth were "do you have a not fake one? This expires in 2059." ??? First of all, As a bartender you should be educated in different forms of IDs and know that every state is different, ESPECIALLY when you're bartending in a tourist beach town. Second of all, What kind of customer service is that? So rude and uncalled for, there's a million other ways he could've approached the situation. Rubbed me the complete wrong way. So dude, if you're reading this, PLEASE learn some common curiosity.

It was very busy, DJ was awesome, bartender is very friendly. Patio is awesome for smoking. Good for have a fun.

People were very friendly drinks were great and food was amazing....even on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. I work over night and my only days off are on those days so I thought that might slow things down....not at all I Loved It
