Nick did a wonderful job preparing a delicious meal for my 40th birthday celebration! I admire the thought, process, and organization of his skill. What a treat to enjoy the BEST Bison Tenderloin! My entire party really liked the diversity of foods, and we appreciated the quality of everything prepared. We will most definitely recommend & request Nick to come make another memorable experience. I am a foodie. It was super important to me that we had outstanding food and a unique menu for our wedding day; something that would really stand out and be a memory for everyone who attended. That was kinda my goal with everything. Nick at Picky Eaters really delivered! We created a largely custom menu with Nicks help, mostly Asian food, including some unique dishes Nick hadn’t even heard of from my time in Laos. Nick not only tackled the challenge, he enhanced the traditional recipes to new levels providing more flavor with them than I had previously. Every single person at our wedding said that the food Nick’s team provided was the best wedding food they had ever had. Every. Single. Person. We are still getting rave reviews about it weeks after our wedding (or really whenever the wedding is brought up). I cannot recommend Picky Eaters enough. I can say my wedding was basically perfect, which just doesn’t happen, and Nick’s team was a major part of it! @Nick, can I get the recipes by chance?

Top Chef in Fort Collins, CO From Beginning to End, Chef Nick Gutierrez with Picky Eaters was this Mother of the Groom’s answer to her prayers. Many people mentioned he was an excellent chef with a great reputation in Fort Collins, Co but as someone who comes from Louisiana, another place renown for good food, I couldn’t wait to see what he would bring to the table. In our short calls during planning stage, I could tell Nick loves what he does and wants to make your event special. When I walked into the event and met him and his crew and saw the appetizers laid out I thought we might be on a show called Top Chef? It was picture perfect and delicious to eat. Everyone raved over it. The dinner was served and the beef tenderloin was mouth watering tender and the red wine shallot butter served with it pushed the dish into the next level. My daughter n law wanted to bathe in it and took some home in a doggy bag. The blackened chicken I ordered an alternative option to the beef entree almost stole the show and was my dear father n law’s favorite of the night. We finished the night with crème Brûlée and my son’s favorite mini churros with caramel and chocolate sauce. Yum! Nick and the Picky Eaters staff made all my hopes and dreams for my son’s rehearsal dinner come true. His staff was friendly and professional and catered to my family’s wishes for a light hearted celebratory aire that I was going for when planning this event. The Big Question - would I hire Picky Eaters again? Yes without a doubt would I hire them to do another event in the Denver area especially since he told me he really rocks Latin food. Yum!

Can’t say enough about Nick and Picky Eaters! Initial phone call to discuss everything regarding the food, budget, what was included was very organized and friendly. The day of Nick was all set up with everything ready to go. We had a small , 10 people, family gathering. From the hummus, chickpea salad, Mediterranean chicken, asparagus; my family couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. When we need a caterer again, I will definitely reach out to Nick. From our first meeting to the day-of, Nick was an absolute pleasure to work with. His care and attention to detail for an event as important as our wedding was second-to-none and we cannot imagine going with anyone else. Planning felt more like a conversation and Nick provided great suggestions (e.g. food pairings, style of service) that made us see that he genuinely wanted to help contribute to an awesome day. My sister worked with a caterer for her wedding that only provided select services and was very rigid in what could and could not be done. Nick was just the opposite and once this became clear in our first planning meeting, that stress of how we would work together evaporated. Outside of planning, Nick's menu is stellar. We continue to get compliments almost every day about how good the food was--not "just for a wedding" but some have also mentioned it was one of the better meals they have ever had. In fact, I still think about the salmon and chicken from the wedding; it was truly a highlight. We also had Nick give a small announcement before food service at the wedding to rundown the menu. Not only did many of our friends think this was a nice touch, his passion and pride for the work came through even to guests. I cannot imagine working with another caterer for our wedding and we both thank Nick for all is help and guidance in the planning process. We'd give more stars if we could.
